공용 공간의 패러다임 변화와 질적 공간 분석 - 500병상 이상 국내 종합병원 진입층을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Change of Paradigm and Analysis of Qualitative Space in Public Space - Focused on the Entrance Floor in General Hospital over 500 beds in Korea -)

  • Entrance floor in hospital has became important space for medical service in holistic perspective and image enhancement. However, basically a discussion of the qualitative properties and the role of public space is paucity in change of public spaces paradigm. In accordance with this problem, this study consider the change of paradigm in public space based on earlier studies and create classification criterion of space. According to the criterion, G/D ratio and the qualitative spatial area ratio of 26 general hospitals which were planned over 500 beds are analyzed by case study method. The conclusion of this study is as follows. 1) The space according to the medical function is variable element. So the public space should be planned from function-subordinate space to self-reliance space in the future. 2) There is no correlation between the high G/D ratio and the high ratio of qualitative spacial area. In other word It's hard to say that the public space which G/D ratio is high is qualitative space. 3) Since 2000, various types in accordance with the circulation system is applied to public space. And ratio of qualitative spacial area is relatively high in the street type and the concourse type. 4) The qualitative spatial area ratio of stay space is higher than passage's one.

어린이집 담임교사와 누리과정 보조교사의 협력 경험에 대한 연구 (A Study on Childcare Teachers' Cooperation Experiences with Nuri Curriculum Teaching Assistants)

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to achieve a qualitative understanding of childcare teachers' cooperation experiences with Nuri curriculum teaching assistants. Methods: The study adopted a qualitative research design. Participants comprised 23 childcare teachers working with Nuri curriculum teaching assistants. Focus group interviews were conducted to discuss their cooperation experience with the teaching assistants. Qualitative themes analyses were carried out following individual-level analyses, group-level analyses, and cross-group-comparisons. Results and Conclusion: The results showed that childcare teachers, at first, had low expectation for Nuri curriculum teaching assistants because they have ambiguous job descriptions. However, the teachers' actual interactions exhibited cooperation effects on improving the quality of childcare. Childcare teachers suggested the ways to promote cooperation between childcare teachers and Nuri curriculum teaching assistants at individual and systemic levels.

Parenting experiences of mothers of moderate-to-late preterm children in South Korea: a qualitative study

  • Purpose: This study investigated the parenting experiences of mothers of young children born moderate-to-late preterm (MLPT) in South Korea. Methods: In this qualitative study, semi-structured focus group interviews were conducted with 10 mothers of MLPT children from infancy to preschool age. The interviews were video-recorded, transcribed verbatim, and analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Results: Four categories resulted from the analysis of parenting experiences of mothers with young MLPT children, as follows: "becoming a mother of an early-born child", "difficulties as the primary caregiver for a high-risk child", "helpful social support, but still a lack of professional support for parenting a high-risk child", and "mothers and children growing together". Conclusion: Mothers of young MLPT children experienced difficulties due to concerns about their child's health, growth and development, and insufficient child-rearing support. Therefore, social support systems should be strengthened and more aggressive nursing strategies should be adopted for mothers of young MLPT children.

한국 사회복지 질적 연구: 동향과 의미 (A Study on the Social Welfare Qualitative Research in Korea: Trends and Implications)

  • 이 연구는 한국 사회복지 질적 연구의 동향과 그 의미를 탐색한다. 연구결과, 한국사회복지 질적 연구는 "태동기"에 진입하고 있었고 그 지형적 특징은 후실증주의 혹은 발견주의의 압도적 열세, 연구물 산출에서의 지역간, 대학간의 현격한 편차, 학문후속세대의 질적 연구에 대한 급격한 관심 증가, 질적 연구의 리드 집단으로서 학문후속세대의 두각으로 드러났다. 한국 사회복지 질적 연구 동향의 중요한 축이라고 할 수 있는 산출된 연구물에 대한 비평에서는 해석적 패러다임의 주도, 절차주의에의 경도, 주제의 빈약성, 특정 질적 연구 전통에의 편향이라는 특징들을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 한국 사회복지 질적 연구의 동향은 그것이 가진 한계에도 불구하고 우리 학문공동체에 다양한 함의를 시사하고 있었다. 그것은 실증주의라는 지배적 지식기반에 대한 비판의 의미와 함께 실증주의에 비견할 대항적 인식론, 대항적 담론을 형성할 필요성을 시사하였다. 또한 비록 서구와 같이 격렬한 "논쟁"의 방식으로 패러다임의 다원화를 위한 노력이 가시화되고 있지는 않지만 "저변확대"의 형태로 패러다임의 다원화를 촉진할 수 있는 토대를 형성하고 있었다. 마지막으로 인과론적이고 시장중심적인 사회복지 현상에 대한 사유방식을 비인과적이고 덜 시장중심적인 내러티브적 사유방식의 확산이라는 의미를 내포하는 것으로 분석되었다.

마음의 방 그리기에 관한 양적, 질적 분석 연구 (The Study on Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis of Mentalizing the Rooms of Mind)

  • Objectives: To suggest the basis of clinical applications through qualitative and quantitative analysis of mentalizing the rooms of mind in the mindfulness meditation program. It is one of the M&L psychotherapy techniques that enables observing the mind more objectively by structuring, visualizing and embodying state of the mind at the moment of drawing a room of the mind. Methods: In this study, we conducted 5t mindfulness meditation program sessions with 85 college students studying Oriental Neuropsychiatry at the University of Oriental Medical College. Before and after the program, data checked the FFMQ and drew the room of mind. Qualitative analysis by subjects were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. Results: First, results of the quantitative analysis revealed significant difference between pre-and post on describing one of the FFMQ sub-factors. However, there were no statistically significant other factors. Second, qualitative analysis results follow as: It extracted 2 keywords including 'viewpoint as a therapist' and 'viewpoint as a client' and 3 consisting words 'positive response', 'negative response', 'ambiguous response'. Conclusions: Mentalizing the room of mind is the work of visualizing, diagramming, objectifying, and specifying the mind of this moment. It is concerned that the value of clinical use is high as a useful tool to increase concentration of meditation and observe and evaluate changes of mind before and after treatments.

가족치료 분야에서의 질적 연구방법의 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of Qualitative Research Methods in the Field of Family Therapy)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 질적 연구방법 패러다임의 중요한 특성들을 살펴보고 이러한 연구방법을 어떻게 우리 나라 가족치료 분야에 적용할 수 있을 것인가를 분석하는 것이다. 먼저 질적 연구방법의 일반적 특성과 연구설계의 전형적인 특징들이 기술된다. 둘째, 가족치료 분야에서의 질적 연구방법의 의미와 적절성 그리고 이의 구체적 적용방법과 관련된 내용들이 논의된다. 셋째, 가족치료 분야에서 질적 연구방법을 수행할 때 고려되어야 할 핵심적 이슈들이 검토된다. 질적 연구방법은 가족치료를 총체적으로 볼 수 있게 하는 체계적이고 과학적인 방법을 제공한다. 이러한 연구방법은 가족치료 분야에 새로운 조사연구 패러다임을 추가하고 이를 통해 가족치료의 다양성을 증가시킬 수 있다. 또한 가족구조와 현실의 총체적 표현이 가능한 다양한 질적 연구방법들은 가족형태와 경험의 복잡성과 다양성을 검토하는데 도움을 준다. 따라서 질적 연구방법은 가족치료의 과학 및 실천을 향상시킬 잠재성을 지니고 있고 가족치료 연구자는 질적 연구방법을 향상시킬 잠재성을 지니고 있다. 결론적으로 우리 나라 가족치료 분야에서의 질적 연구방법의 발전을 위한 합의를 제시한다.

음성장애 진단 및 평가에 관한 질적 연구: 진단 및 평가 모형 정립을 위한 기초연구 (A Study for the Development of Korean Voice Assessment Model for the Patients with Voice Disorders: A Qualitative Study)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a Korean assessment model for the patients with voice disorders. Interviews were conducted with 4 voice therapists and the results were analyzed by using a qualitative, constant-comparative design. According to the three themes emerged from the qualitative analysis, 10 subthemes were derived. The three main themes were 1) consideration on the disordered voice, 2) status quo of instrumental and perceptual evaluation, and 3) suggestions for the other voice therapists. The 10 subthemes can be summarized as the following: 1) judgment centering on the patients, 2) increase of the reliability of instrumental and perceptual evaluation, 3) voice therapists' positive participation in the assessment procedure of voice disorder.

국내 사회복지질적연구논문 심사의 발전적 방향에 관한 탐색 (An exploratory study on reviewing journal articles of qualitative studies in the field of social welfare in Korea)

  • 본 논문은, 질적연구논문심사 관련 국내 연구들이 부재하였으므로, 탐색적 차원에서 관련 포커스그룹 논의와 국외문헌에서 나타난 쟁점과 성과를 확인하여 국내 사회복지 질적연구논문심사가 나아가야 할 방향을 찾고자 하였다. 포커스그룹 논의를 통해, 질적논문 투고자들이 대면하는 심사자의 양적패러다임 편향과 비전문성, 불성실 등의 태도로 인한 좌절과, 심사자로서 질적논문심사에 대한 훈련 및 준비성 부족으로 겪는 심사에 대한 부담과 혼돈을 확인하였다. 또한 심사과정에서 참여자들은 투고자와 심사자의 동반 성장과 질 높은 논문완성을 위한 파트너쉽을 통해서 감사와 보람을 경험한다. 국외연구들은 질적연구논문의 투고자 혹은 심사자의 경험, 연구패러다임 갈등, 질적논문의 질 평가규준에 관한 논쟁을 다루고 있었으며, 주요 성과로서 심사규준(질 평가)에 활용될 수 있는 질적연구논문 작성 체크 항목 및 개념 리스트들을 제안하고 있었다. 향후 과제로서는 질적연구논문 전문 심사자 풀의 안정적 운영, 질적논문 심사규준과 심사자 매뉴얼 개발 등이 제안되었다.

창조적 리더십의 질적인 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Qualitative Analysis of Creative Leadership)

  • Public and private sectors are experiencing a worldwide economic depression originated from the failure of U.S. financial system. At a harsh time like this, policy-makers need to understand more about the effects of the creative leadership in the digital era. However, there haven't been enough studies performed on this field in Korea. This study aims to fill the blank and learn more about the correlation between creative leadership and organizational effectiveness. To achieve this goal, various previous leadership studies have been reviewed in terms of organizational behaviors, comparative culture studies, and etc. In the end, this study argues previous qualitative studies' weaknesses and limitations, and tries to suggest new aspect of qualitative research method of creative leadership.

수간호사의 간호학생 임상실습지도 경험: 질적 연구 (Head Nurses' Experiences in Clinical Practice Education of Nursing Students: A Qualitative Research)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to understand and describe difficulties and needs experienced by head nurses in the clinical practice education of nursing students. Methods: A qualitative descriptive method was employed. A convenience sampling method was used to recruit participants from four hospitals in South Korea. Twenty-one head nurses participated in the first interview and 17 of them participated in the second interview. Data were collected through two in-depth interviews and field notes were written. Qualitative content analysis method was utilized for data analysis using ATLAS.ti 6.2 software. Results: Thirty-one codes and twelve categories were identified. Four themes emerged from data analysis, which included 'too many tasks', 'limitations of student education', 'many differences', and 'lack of support and resources.' Conclusion: This qualitative study described head nurses' many difficulties and needs in the clinical practice education of nursing students. The results of this study provide valuable understanding and knowledge of head nurses' experiences in students' clinical education, which leads to improvement of the quality of clinical education for nursing students.
