Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the physical and psychological-emotional status according to type of personality of female college student smokers and to provide baseline data for smoking cessation education programs for women. Method: The data were collected from May to June. 2002. The subjects were 119 female students who smoked. The data were analyzed using SPSS/PC. Results : The results are as follows 1. There were 91 (76.5%) A type and 28 (23.5%) B Type personality types, indicating that female student smokers were more frequently type A rather than type B. 2. Perceived health status by personality type indicated that those with type B ($27.71{\pm}4.67$) perceived higher health status than those with type A ($26.53{\pm}4.60$) but the result was not statistically significant (p = 237). 3. Perceived stress by personality type indicated that those with type B ($83.71{\pm}13.13$) perceived more stress than those with type A ($70.52{\pm}12.35$). 4. Differences between depression by personality type indicated that those with type B ($47.21{\pm}8.53$) perceived more stress than those with type A ($45.42{\pm}7.32$) but this was not statistically significant (p = .277). 5. There were significant negative correlations between perceived health status and stress (r=-0.300. p<0.004), depression and perceived health status (r=-.456. p<0.000). There was significant positive correlation between stress and depression (r= .700, p<0.000). 6. There was no significant difference between perceived health status, stress, or depression according to general characteristics. Conclusion: According to the results, researchers should continually identify women's smoking behavior included various physical and psychological variables related to women's health. In addition, programs for improving physical and psychological health should be designed and operated to decrease the perception of stress and to increase the perception of health motivation for women smokers.
After analyzing the location, arrangement, inner structure, and form of the hunting pit in the Bronze Age, this paper sets up three types and talks about types of hunting pits. After analyzing the types of the hunting pit, three types of hunting pits are derived: mountain district - large group's arrangement - long oval - I II type(A), mountain district - arrangement in a line - oval - I type(B), flat area - arrangement in a line - oval - I III type(C). Literature, the ways in hunting pits, the purpose of the installations, and the characters are studied and compared with those of the anthropological cases. Even though hunting pits of types A and B are constructed to hide and get protein and bone of animals for breeding, there are differences in the ways in hunting and characters. Type of A seems to be constructed only for occupation that is the standardized hunting method on a small works. However, type B is the chasing method to hunt as a group and it has various purposes including main occupation. For example, it is for improving the war skills by practicing the hunting strategies and cooperating with the people. In addition, it is for getting a sacrifice for god. The type C hunting pit is estimated that it plays a role to protect themselves from invasion. It's inferred that there are many purposes for military defense and protection of people or animals within the village. It is the reason why the construction is spread in hunting pit including various purposes in the Bronze age that originates in social and economical specialization like the increase in agricultural productivity and appearance of a chief.
Purpose: The study was done to identify factors influencing health promoting behaviour in office workers according to the type A/B personality. Methods: The data were collected by questionnaires from 249 workers in Seoul and Gyung-gi province. Measures were a health promoting behaviour, the type of personality, self-esteem, perceived health status, social support, and job stress. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficients, t-test, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 15.0 version. Results: This study suggests that A type office workers have a little lower degree in health promoting behaviour, self-esteem, social support and have a higher degree in perceived health status, perceived symptoms and job stress than those of B type office workers. The factors which influence A type office workers on health promoting behaviour are social support, perceived health status and self-esteem, which accounted for 40.2% of the variance and those of B type office workers, self-esteem and perceived health status accounted for 24.5%. Conclusion: It needs to develop and operate self-management program for health maintenance and promotion for the type A/B personality White Collar Workers.
An evaluation of the influence of nutritional health camp for in obese elementary students was assessed. Anthropometric measurement, 24-hour recall of dietary intake, MMTIC(Murphy-Meisgeier Type Indicator for Children) and questionnaire response(nutritional knowledge, nutritional attitude, and self-satisfaction) was documented in 43 obese elementary students(29 boys and 14 girls). The mean age of the elementary students was 11.2 years. The mean height, body weight and obesity index was 144.7 cm, 55.4 kg and 41.0% in boys, and 136.1 cm, 45.2 kg, 40.0% in girls. The mean energy intake was 1,522.4 kcal in boys and 1,494.9 kcal in girls. The subjects taking less than estimated average requirement(EAR) for vitamin ${B_2}$, folate, vitamin C and calcium was over 70%. A considerable number of students(65.1%) showed U band(undetermined character). The students demonstrated a propensity towards increased average nutritional knowledge and self-satisfaction after attending the nutritional health camp. In addition, a significant increase in average nutritional attitude was observed(p<0.001). The results of this study suggest that nutritional health camp positively influenced the nutritional attitude of elementary students.
This study aims to investigate the stress factors of students in Dental Hygiene Department who will soon take the national examination, corresponding countermeasures and relationship of internal and external personality. On the basis of the results from investigation, this study will identify the methods to effectively cope with stress and to take the national examination with more positive thinking for the students and faculty members in Dental Hygiene Department, who have to pass the difficult test, the national examination. The structured questionnaires were given to junior students in Dental Hygiene Department in three colleges, to identify the stress factors, methods to deal with stress and A/B personality types. For the stress factor by field, the M college showed significantly higher stress about curriculum and assignment than the C college. In the stress factor analysis by item, the lack of information on national examination in the test area, all items in learning environment, a quantity of assignment that doesn't help the preparation of national examination in the assignment area, and lack of information on employment in job area demonstrated the significant difference(p<0.05). For the methods of subjects to deal with stress, several subcategories of long-term and short-term adaptation had significance. In case of the methods to deal with stress by personality type, B type in the short-term adaptation method in M college and A type in the long-term adaptation method in C college were significantly higher(p<0.05). As for the correlation between the population sociological features and stress factors by personality type, health status had the high correlation with test in the test area. In other areas, the travel hours to school showed the significant correlation. The higher the records were, the longer the travel hours were and the better the health status was, the higher the long-term adaptation method scores were. Moreover, the personality of A type showed the higher scores in the long-term adaptation method than that of B type. The health status and personality type showed the significant correlation(p<0.05). In conclusion, it is required to prevent any situations b identify the personality type and stress reasons of the students in Dental Hygiene Department who will take the national examination soon. The additional requirement is the continuing interest and counseling of faculty members to help students to cope with stress with positive attitude.

The purpose of this study is to determine color preferences in housing spaces according to different types of personalities and color preference according to classifying dwellers various characteristics by MBTI to obtain basic information for the color plan that satisfies their desires. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, in terms of the color distribution of living spaces, for the ceiling and general walls, results showed that N (white) systems and YR of bright tones were mostly distributed. For the color of the floor, results showed that the calm tone of YR was mostly distributed. Secondly, for the favored colors of finishing materials in each space, the greatest distribution of preference color was found to be the N (white) group (series) in the case of ceilings, For general walls, the bright tone of the N (white) group was the most common in living rooms, and the bright tone of RP was used mostly in couples' rooms and girls' rooms. The bright tone of B and PB were found mostly in boys' bedrooms. In the case of the floor color, results showed the largest distribution was the calm tone of YR. For point walls, the preference was for various kinds of bright and brilliant colors. Thirdly, we could determine that extroverts (E) strongly disliked black and grey, while introverts (I) strongly disliked red as well as black and grey. Those who favored colors of closing materials were the sensible types (S) where colors were concentrated in common color groups. On the other hand, intuition types (N) preferred color groups of various kinds, not only the typically preferred colors.

Purpose: This study was to compare degree of stress, stress coping, adaptation and job satisfaction between Type A and Type B of new graduate nurses'personality. Methods: Seventynine new graduate nurses employed 2003 in an university hospital located in Gyeonggi-do were participated. Data for self-reported questionnaire were collected base on 5 point of time, 1st week and 3rd, 6th, 9th, 12th Month after their employment. Results: New Graduate Nurses' Stress were persistently increased. The statistically significance of positive correlations between stress and coping showed, but their correlations were getting reduced during 1 year. Type B was higher than Type A in stress and adaptation for 12 months. But, Type B of coping was higher up to 9th month, yet abruptly Type A was higher at 12th months. In Job Satisfaction, Type A was higher at 3rd and 6th months, but it was reversed from 9th months. Conclusion: Socialization education for new graduate nurses should be done in organization since their stress were continually increased and their job satisfaction was decreased after 9 months after employed.
Purpose: This study aimed to identify the mediating effect of the resilience on the relationship between type D personality and compliance of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) patients. Methods: The subjects were 236 CAD patients who visited the cardiology outpatient clinics of D University Medical Center in B City in Korea. The type D personality, resilience, and compliance of subjects were measured using structured questionnaires from July to August, 2014. The mediating effect was analyzed by a multiple hierarchical regression. Results: The subjects with type D personality accounted for 30.9% of all study subjects. The resilience and compliance of type D subjects were significantly lower than those of non type D subjects. There was a significant correlation between resilience and compliance. The direct effect of type D personality on compliance was not significant (${\beta}=-.07$, p=.243), while the indirect effect of type D personality on compliance via resilience was significant (${\beta}=.23$, p<.001). Conclusion: On the basis of above results, it can be concluded that the resilience had completely mediating effect on the relation between type D personality and compliance of CAD patients. Further studies need to be done to develop the intervention enhancing resilience of CAD patients with Type D personality.
This study seeks to determine how personality patterns on marital adjustment are influenced by interacting with conflict resolution styles. Data for this study were collected from intermarriage couples comprising 293 pairs (586 patients) who lived in Korea for at least 5years. Snowball sampling was carried out from August to October 2011. SPSS 18.0 was used to analyze the collected data. The results of this study are as follows: (a) The conscientiousness and openness of personality patterns turned out to be common personality factors that represent a positive affect on the intermarried couples' effort to adapt. (b) The extroversions, agreeableness, and neuroticism shown significantly increase and decrease the intermarried husband's marital adjustment, but the same did not have a significant influence on the intermarried wife's marital adjustment. (c) Factors that affect marital adjustment, the conflict resolution styles of intermarriage couples showed different results depending on the gender. (d) The Intermarried wife's personality patterns represented a positive affect on her marital adjustment by interacting with her husband's conflict resolution styles, while the intermarried husband's personality patterns represented a positive affect on his marital adjustment by interacting with his wife's conflict resolution styles. The implications of this study will be discussed in the conclusion.
The Yan mountain area of the northern part of Hebei province and its local neighbor area is categorized main-distribution area of the northern bronze culture of the Eastern Zhou period(770bc~221bc). Recently, it was discovered the concrete character of the culture by a large scale excavation of the Yuhuangmiao cemetery at Jundu mountain. In the chinese scholarship, the cultural character of this area has established the independent cultural type that is distinguished from the Bronze culture of existing. In this paper, I have as a target of analysis remains relate to the Yuhuangmiao culture of the mountain area of northern Hebei in the Eastern Zhou period. And I would like to judge about diverse infuluential relationships of the character of the Yuhuangmiao curture and the Bronze culture, especially burials, burial customs and the characters of the excavated article. In particular, diverse infuluential relationships of the upper Xiajiadian culture Ordos bronze culture and The Central Plains cultural from The Yan state have a important meaning to understand about the character of the Yuhuangmiao culture and the beginning development process. Ultimately, it is peculiar characters of the Yuhuangmiao culture that a shaft gave with stone compartment protecting a coffin as a symbolic form, mask-burial customs such as mainly burials of the living with the dead dogs, a drum shaped jar, a tripod jar with two handles, a short bronze sword with circle hilt, Central Plains cultural bronze containers, bronze halberd and horse-shaped accessories of cartage horse trapping are distinguished from a local neighbor, the bronze culture from northern. The territory of time-space of The Yuhuangmiao culture can be dominately recognized bewteen the upper Xiajiadian culture and Ordos bronze culture. It is the Yan culture after the middle Warring States Period considering with the peculiar chacters which reflected by burials and bural customs and diverse infuluential relationships with peripheral cultures.
