고등학생의 한국 전통 음식문화에 대한 인식 및 교육 요구도 - 제 7차 교육과정의 기술.가정교과 차용분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Recognition and Educational Needs for Korean Traditional Food Culture Among High School Students - Focusing on the Analysis of the Content of Technology.Home Economics Based on the 7th Curriculum -)

  • 본 연구는 현행 7차 교육과정 중 가정교과의 식생활 영역에 있어서 한국 전통 음식문화에 대한 교과내용을 분석하고, 한국 전통 음식문화에 대한 고등학생의 인식 및 교육에 대한 요구도를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 통해 한국 전통 음식문화에 대한 실천적 교육내용과 교육방법 구성에 기여하는 기초 자료를 제공하는 것을 연구목적으로 하였으며 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가정교과의 식생활 영역에 있어서 한국 전통 음식문화에 대한 내용은 중학교 3학년의 '상차림과 식사예절', 고등학교 1학년의 '초대와 행사의 계획과 준비', 고등학교 2-3학년의 '음식문화와 음식마련'의 내용으로 구성되었다. 둘째, 고등학생들은 한국 전통 음식문화에 대해 자긍심을 가지고 있었으나, 실제 가정생활에서는 적용하지 못하였고 특히 '명절과 세시풍속의 의미'에 대해 제대로 이해하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 한국 전통 음식문화의 교과내용에 대한 요구도는 전통 음식문화에 대한 자긍심과 가정 내에서의 계승여부, 인식도에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 요구도의 하위변인(필요도, 흥미도, 활용도)간 상관관계가 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 한국 전통 음식문화의 교육은 고등학생이 필요하다고 느끼는 교육영역으로 나타났으며, 교육내용으로는 만드는 방법이, 교육방법으로는 조리실습과 음식문화 체험활동이 요구되는 것으로 나타났다.

초등학교에서 황사에 관한 환경교육 교재의 개발과 적용 (A Development and Application of the Environmental Education Text Book about the Asian Dust in the Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop and applicate the elementary environmental textbook in order to solve its problem and to improve attitude related to the Asian dust. The results in this research are as follows. First, it was showed that three groups who composed of teachers, parents and students in the elementary school had recognized the serosities and problems caused by the Asian dust form TV, and that such problems was associated with increase of the desertification and the global warming. Especially the student group insist that the cause in Asian dust is due to the natural phenomena or industrialization. Second, as a result in analysis on the Asian dust through both textbooks on the 7th elementary curriculum and subsidiary textbooks, contents concerning Asian dusts was little or noting. In addition, in the subjects of Science, Society and Health for the 5th and 6th grade students in the elementary school, they were explained partially as one of the air pollutants. Third, the elementary environmental textbook on the Asian dust was developed for the 5th and 6th grade students. The textbook is composed of four contents on the material which is harmful of the human health and life in Asian dust, the special news of Asian dust, and the best answer to solve Asian dust as well as the cause and the source of Asian dust. Forth, as a result in classes using the environmental textbook developed by four themes about the Asian dust, its application is meaningful in the level of p value in the view of knowledge, awareness and attitude of the experiment group. They was more improved in 37%, 14%, and 15%, respectively, than the comparative group. In conclusion, the environmental textbook related to Asian dust will play an important role in useful tool to understand the right knowledge, awareness, and attitude which makes an effort on its effective management in the elementary school.

수학 교과서에 나타난 계산 지도 방법의 변화 - 두 자리 수의 덧셈과 뺄셈 (Teaching Addition and Subtraction with Reduction in Elementary Mathematics Textbooks)

  • 덧셈과 뺄셈의 기초적 원리에 대한 지도 방법은 오랜 전통을 지닌 것이지만, 이러한 계산 알고리즘에 대한 분석 관점과 전개 방식은 각 시기별 교과서에 따라 큰 변화를 보였다. 1, 2차 교과서에서 볼 수 있는 교수학적 변환은 비교적 덜 구조화된 것이다. 3, 4차 교과서에서는 새 수학의 영향을 받아 계산 원리에 대한 이해를 돕는 교수학적 고안이 학생의 인지적 상황보다는 수학적 논리적 원리에 의존하고 있다. 5, 6차 교과서에서는 교수학적 변환이 비교적 절충적이고 안정적인 형태를 지니고 있다. 7차 교과서에서는 교수학적 변환이 수학적 내용의 제시보다는 탐구 활동을 통한 수학적 개념의 형성에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 구성주의 학습관에 의거한 학습자 주도의 학습을 위한 교과서의 제작을 위해서는 이들의 특징과 그 변화 과정에 관한 분석으로부터 유도되는 시사점이 충분히 반영되어야 한다.

초등 교과서에서 제시된 과학 탐구 활동의 분석 (An Analysis of Science Inquiries as Presented in Elementary Science Textbooks)

  • Research into scientific inquiry methods indicates that providing various types of inquiry methods can enhance students' science loaming in terms of providing students with actual science in various ways' more so than exposure to one type of inquiry method. This article develops a framework for an analysis of scientific inquiry types based on the nature of scientific enterprise. We selected three types of scientific inquiry: these were minds-on activities, hands-on activities, and experimenting. Elementary science textbooks in the 7th national science curriculum were analysed according to the following subject areas; earth science, physics, biology, and chemistry. A total of 61 teaching units from 3rd through 6th grade science textbooks were investigated. The frequencies of each type of scientific inquiry method were slightly different among four science subject areas. The most frequent type which appeared in physics and chemistry was the hands-on type, while the minds-on activity type was the most frequent type which appeared in earth science and biology.

  • This study proposed task-based teaming strategies as a means of fulfilling the demands and goals of the 7th national science curriculum. Task-based learning is based on the use of a series of activities whereby a teacher presents students with tasks related to daily lift and the students solve the tasks by themselves using various methods and thought processes and then present and discuss their results with each other. The tasks are selected from the 6-grade science textbook, are reconstructed and are then given to the classes. The tasks include whole class activities as well as individual activities related to the interests, abilities, and concerns of the students. The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of task-based learning classes on the science process skills and the scientific attitudes of elementary school students, when applied to 6th grade students. For this, the task-based learning activities were applied to an experimental group and expository teaching was applied to the comparison group. Both groups were given a pre-post test on science process skills and scientific attitudes. The results indicate that task-based loaming is very effective in the development of science process skills and scientific attitudes.

MBL 시범 수업이 초등학생의 학업성취도, 과학탐구능력 및 정의적 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Study on the influence of MBL Exhibition Class on the Eelementary school students' Academic Achievement, Scientific Research Abilities and Affective Characters)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of MBL Exhibition Class on the Elementary School students' academic achievement, scientific research abilities and affective characters. For the purpose, three classes were sampled in the 5th grade of an elementary school. Among the three classes, two were designated as the comparative classes consisted of 68 students and the other was the experimental class, 33 students. The comparative classes were given lessens according to the content presented in the textbook of 7th Education Curriculum and the experimental class was given re-built lessons with using MBL machines. Before and after giving lessons, students of both classes took a test for science academic achievement. And also the scientific research abilities and affective characters were examined. The conclusions from this study is as follows. First, according to the result of science academic achievement test after giving lessons, the mean of the experimental class was higher than that of the comparative classes meaningfully. Second, scientific research abilities of the experimental class was shown higher than that of the comparative classes meaningfully. Specially, basic research abilities were improved very meaningfully and only hypothesis-building ability was improved among integrated research abilities. Third, it doesn't seem that MBL exhibition class is effective on affective characters(interest, attitudes).

학습내용을 이야기로 구성한 수업이 초등학생의 과학학습과 기억에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Instruction with Stories on Elementary School Students' Science Leaning and Memory)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of instruction with stories on elementary school students' science learning and memory. For the purpose, this researcher sampled 3 classes in their 3th grade from an elementary school. Out of the three classes, two were designated as the comparative group consisting of 70 students and the other, the experimental group, 32 students. The former group was applied instruction treatment under the 7th national curriculum of education. The other group was instructed with a story book that contained stories students already knew which were somewhat rearranged to comply with contents of a relevant curricular course. Results of the study can be described as follows. First, academic achievement test was made immediately after the treatment to show that the experimental group was significantly higher in scores for memory and understanding in the section of 'Finding Constellations' that the other group. Second, the two groups' academic achievements in relation to the section, 'Finding Constellations' were tested 3 months after the treatment to show that the experimental group was significantly higher in scores for memory and understanding than the comparative group. Such achievements within the groups were tested 3 months after the treatment to find that both of the two groups didn't show statistically significant differences.

보기보다 쉽지 않다: 초등 수학교육과정에 대한 수학교사의 인식 (Not as easy as It Looks: Korean Elementary Classroom Teacher Perceptions of Mathematics Curriculum)

  • 본 연구는 제7차 수학교육과정에 대한 한국 초등 수학 교사들의 인식을 조사하였다. 본 연구자들이 고안한 설문지를 사용한 결과 모두 143명이 설문에 응하였다. 데이터는 기술적 방법에 의거 분석되었다. 응답자의 67%가 교육 과정이 범위와 계열에 있어 만족스럽다고 보고 있으나 43%는 가르칠 내용의 교수학적 전략이 교사용 지도서에 보다 자세히 명기될 필요성을 지적하고 있다. 38명(26%)는 너무 많은 내용이 지도되고 있다고 지적하고 있으며 35명(24%)는 가르칠 내용이 학생들의 인지 발달 수준에 비해 너무 어렵다고 지적하고 있다. 응답자들은 수학을 지도하는 데 있어서 가장 어려운 점으로 과외 활동으로 인해 관계로 능력 차가 매우 다른 학생들을 대상으로 수업을 개별화하는 것임을 지적하고 있다.

  • This research is based on the concept that environmentally sustainable school design itself can raise the awareness of environmental issues related with sustainability for the students in early school days. Firstly, 7th educational curriculum is analyzed in terms of environmental education and the possibility for the spatial translation is reviewed. Secondly, potential items appropriate for physical facilities are extracted. Lastly design guidelines, which covers four different categories such as school yard, energy, water and waste are provided not only for the environmental education but also for the energy efficiency and resource conservation of the facility itself.
