Dicyclohexyl telluride was obtained in a high yield by the reaction of cyclohexyl bromide with NaTeH(prepared in situ) in an aqueous ethanolic solution. A series of new organotelluronium salts of the general formula ${(cyclo-C_6H_11)}_2Te(R)X$ (where R = $CH_3$, X = I (1); R = $C_2H_5$, X = Br(2); R = $C_2H_5$, X = I (3); R = C_3H_5$, X = Br (4)) were prepared by the reaction of ${(cyclo-C_6H_11)}_2Te$ with the corresponding alkyl halide. Reaction of 1 with NaBPh4 gave compound 5 ( i.e. R = CH3, X = BPh4 ‒) in 78% yield. Reaction of ${(cyclo-C_6H_11)}_2Te$ with benzyl bromide and 4-bromophenacyl bromide gave unexpectedly dibenzylcyclohexyltelluronium bromide (6) and bis(4-bromophenacyl)cyclohexyltelluronium bromide (7), respectively. Reaction of 6 with NaBPh4 gave the corresponding tetraphenylborate derivative (8) in high yield. $^1H$ NMR studies revealed that in $CDCl_3$solution compound 1 eliminated alkyl halide. Conductivity, IR, $^1H\;and\;^{13}C$ NMR and thermal data for the new compounds are presented and discussed.
The main objective of this study was to identify the most appropriate condition for root formation of in vitro micropropagated pear (Pyrus spp.) plants. In vitro propagation was induced on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with 2.0 mg/L of N6-benzyladenine (BA) and 0.2 mg/L of Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) medium. The short pre-treatment of explants with a high concentration (1 mg/L) of NAA and IBA (R0 medium) in dark for three days, followed by transfer to five different media (R1 to R5) resulted in good rooting responses in the pear 'Oharabani (P. pyrifolia × P. communis)' genotype. For the rooting experiments, the highest rooting percentage (83.3 ± 8.3%), average root length (3.6 ± 1.9 mm), total root number (31 ± 4.0), and average root number per plant (2.6 ± 2.1) were obtained on half strength (1/2) of MS medium supplemented with 30 g/L sucrose without hormones and activated charcoal (AC) (R1 medium). The highest rooting percentage was obtained at 83.3% from explants on R1 and R3 media. The rooting procedure described in this study resulted in good root formation and significantly shorting the root induction time to within 14 days of culture. Further studies are underway to test the suitability of the protocol developed in this study for other pear genotypes.
This study was conducted to obtain basic information on the utilization of wheat flour for good organoleptic evaluation score. Wheat seed was milled by Buhler test mill. Volatile flavor compounds of five milling fractions such as Break $I{\cdot}II (B_1+B_2)$, Reduction I ($R_1$), Reduction II ($R_2$), Bran and Short were determined and their differences were discussed. There was significant difference in quantity of flavor compounds but no difference in qualitative composition among milling fractions. The outer layer of wheat endosperm ($R_2$ layer) showed higher amount of m-xylene and n-butanol in volatile flavor compounds compared with inner endosperm layer ($B_1,\;B_2,\;R_1$). The $R_2$ layer showed quantitatively higher composition of major flavor compounds than inner endosperm layer ($B_1,\;B_2,\;R_1$). This result points out that the $R_2$ layer exhibited stronger flavor than $B_1,\;B_2$, and Rl layers.
In order to clarify ecological survival strategy of Rumex crispus community dominating under contaminated area of lower region of Kumho riverside including Chimsangyo (CS), Paldalgyo (PD), Talseochon (TS) and Kumhogyo (KH), we analyzed the content of heavy metals and inorganic matter and vegetative growth. R. crispus showed rapid formation of community by high growth rate, high T/R ratio and showed maximum T/R ratio at the contaminated area Talseochon. Nitrogen and phosphorus contents in R. crispus showed high value in shoot than that of root. T/R ratio of nitrogen and phosphorus showed 3.1∼3.6 and 1.5∼4.5 for the early growth stage, and 6.7∼17.3 and 3.9∼8.3 for the late one, respectively. The absorbed heavy metals by riot were translocated to shoot, the heavy metal content in shoot higher than those in root of Cu, Zn, Fe, and Pb for 3.6, 1.7, 1.5 and 4.8 times, respectively. Distribution ratio of the heavy metals in each organ showed 61∼85% and 15∼39% for shoot and root, respectively. R. crispus accumulated heavy metals in the order of Fe>Zn>Cu>Pb in shoot, and showed maximum values of Cu, Zn, Fe and Pb for 89.7, 376.6, 2946.1 and 13.2 ㎍/g dw, respectively at Talseochon in April. A physiological and morphological characteristics of R. crispus showed thickened leaf, increased water content above 80% and rapid growth of shoot. R. crispus showed ecological adaptation to the contaminated area by transportation of heavy metals and inorganic matter to shoot, and by accumulation of Ca ion in root.

This paper presents 6bit 100MHz Interpolation Flash Analog-to-Digital Converter, which can be applied to the Receiver of Wireless Tele-communication System. The 6bit 100MHz Flash Analog-to-Digital Converter simplifies and integrates S-R latch which multiplies as the resolution increases. Whereas the conventional NAND based S-R latch needed eight MOS transistors, this Converter was designed with only six, which makes the Dynamic Power Dissipation of the A/D Converter reduced up to 12.5%. The designed A/D Converter went through $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS n-well 1-poly 6-metal process to be a final product, and the final product has shown 282mW of power dissipation with 1.8V of Supply Voltage, 100MHz of conversion rate. And 35.027dBc, 31.253dB SFDR and 4.8bits, 4.2bits ENOB with 12.5MHz, 50MHz of each input frequency.
Six compounds were isolated from the 90% MeOH fraction of the vine stem of Spatholobus suberectus Dunn (Leguminosae) using silica gel, reverse phase column chromatography and RP-HPLC. Structures of compounds 1-6 were elucidated by spectroscopic parameters of IR, E1 MS, FAB MS, lD-NMR and 2D-NMR spectrum and identified as pseudobaptigenin (1), genistein (2), (2R)-7-hydroxy-6-methoxyflavanone (3), (3R,4R)-2",4"-dihydroxy-6,7-methylenedioxy-isoflavan-4-ol (4), (3R,4R)-7,2" -dihydroxy- 4"-methoxyisoflavan-4-ol (5), sativan (6), respectively. Compounds 3, 4 and 5 have been newly reported in nature.
The K-Ba complete solid solution of 7 synthetic hollandite-type minerals ($K_{2x}$$Ba_{1-x}$$Cr_2$/$Ti_{6}$$O_{16}$ , x=0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 1.0, respectively) are studied by the X-ray powder diffraction and Rietveld refinement to find structural transformation during substitution of $Ba^{2+}$ by $K^{+}$ in A site of the tunnel structure of hollandite. Rietveld indices indicate that $R_{wp}$ with respect to $R^{exp}$ ($R_{wp}$$R_{exp}$ ) are in the range of 15.66%/20.90% and 14.74%/l9.37%, $R_{B}$ and S(Goodness of Fitness) are 6.45~8.97%, 1.45~1.63, respectively. Unit cell parameters of synthetic hollandites, space group 14/m, are a=10.1194(2)~10.0599(2)$\AA$, c=2.9572(6)~2.9512(7)$\AA$, and V=302.75~298.66$\AA^{3}$. Rutile formed as an impurity in those with more than 50% K contents in hollandite series. Substitution of Ba by K ion in a tunnel structure results in constant decrease of cell parameters, but is not sufficient enough to change the hollandite structure. Our data indicate that transformation of tetragonal 14/m to lower symmetry of monoclinic 12/m in hollandite structure may at least be affected by other cation substitution in same A site and/or by cation substitution in B site.
Two crystal structures of fully dehydrated Ca(II) and Tl(I) exchanged zeolite A, $Ca_{5.6}Tl_{0.8}-A (a = 12.242(2){\AA})\;and\;Ca_{1.4}Tl_{9.2}-A (a = 12.191(1){\AA})$, have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods in the cubic space group Pm3m at 21(1)$^{\circ}C$. All crystals were ion exchanged in flowing streams of mixed $Ca(NO_3)_2\;and\;TINO_3$ aqueous solution with total concentration of 0.05M. All crystals were dehydrated at 360$^{\circ}C$ under $2{\times}10^{-6}\;torr$ for two days. The structures of the dehydrated $Ca_{5.6}Tl_{0.8}-A$ and $Ca_{1.4}Tl_{9.2}-A$ were refined to the final error indicies, $R_1$ = 0.072 and $R_2$ = 0.076 with 179 reflections for I > 3$\sigma$(I), and $R_1$ = 0.048 and $R_2$ = 0.043 with 226 reflections for I > 3$\sigma$(I), respectively. In each structure, Ca(II) ions are located on threefold axes associated with three 6-ring oxygens. $Ca^{2+}$ ions prefer to 6-ring sites and $Tl^+$ ions prefer to 8-ring sites when total number of exchanged cations per unit cell is more than 8.
Let (R, m) be a commutative Noetherian local domain, M a non-zero finitely generated R-module of dimension n > 0 and I be an ideal of R. In this paper it is shown that if $x_1,{\ldots },x_t$ ($1{\leq}t{\leq}n$) be a sub-set of a system of parameters for M, then the R-module $H^t_{(x_1,{\ldots },x_t)}$(R) is faithful, i.e., Ann $H^t_{(x_1,{\ldots },x_t)}$(R) = 0. Also, it is shown that, if $H^i_I$ (R) = 0 for all i > dim R - dim R/I, then the R-module $H^{dimR-dimR/I}_I(R)$ is faithful. These results provide some partially affirmative answers to the Lynch's conjecture in [10]. Moreover, for an ideal I of an arbitrary Noetherian ring R, we calculate the annihilator of the top local cohomology module $H^1_I(M)$, when $H^i_I(M)=0$ for all integers i > 1. Also, for such ideals we show that the finitely generated R-algebra $D_I(R)$ is a flat R-algebra.
