The experiments were conducted by supplying hosts with natural food(chestnut, peach, Quince). The developmental difference of peach pyralid moth, Dichocrocis punctiferalis was examined in the laboratory under three different natural food regime. The periods of egg, larva and pupa were $6.01{\pm}0.07$, $12.23{\pm}0.03$ and $13.32{\pm}0.01$ days on the chestnut fruit, $6.21{\pm}0.01$, $18.69{\pm}0.02$ and $13.38{\pm}0.03$ days on the peach fruit and $7.02{\pm}0.04$, $22.62{\pm}0.04$ and $13.44{\pm}0.14$ days on the quince fruit, respectively. The growth of D. punctiferalis larva was better chestnut fruit than other tested fruits. The rates(%) of hatching, pupation and emergence were 94.0, 57.0 and 63.3 on the chestnut fruit, 89.2, 77.8 and 85.7 on the peach fruit and 79.6, 52.6 and 70.7 on the quince fruit, respectively. The survival rate(%) of D. punctiferalis from hatching to emergence were 31.0 on the chestnut fruit, 4.8 on the peach fruit and 14.3 on the quince fruit, respectively. The sex ratio (female: male) of all pupae obtained on the tested natural food fruits were 52.7 : 47.3. The sex ratio of D. punctiferalis reared on three difference food fruits were no significantly. It can be used a as the basic research for the study of D. punctiferalis.

In this paper, we propose a 'linear approximation method' which is an accelerated BER (Bit Error Rate) test method for high speed interfaces, based on an analytical BER model. Both the conventional 'Q-factor estimation method' and 'linear approximation method' can predict a timing margin for $10^{-13}$ BER with an error of about 0.03UI. This linear approximation method is implemented on a hardware as an accelerated Built-In Self Test (BIST) with an internal BERT (BET Tester). While a direct measurement of a timing margin in a 3Gbps interface takes about 5.6 hours with $10^{-13}$ BER requirement and 95% confidence level, the accelerated BIST estimates a timing margin within 0.6 second without a considerable loss of accuracy. The test results show that the error between the estimated timing margin and the timing margin from an actual measurement using the internal BERT is less than 0.045UI.

In this paper, the high gain and the broadband microstrip patch antenna, which is applicable to 5 GHz band wireless LAN, is designed in order to integrate IEEE 802.11a's detailed standards($a:5.15{\sim}5.25$, $b:5.25{\sim}5.35$, $c:5.725{\sim}5.875$ [GHz]). Designed patch antenna has settled resonance frequency by insert substance(polyurethane: ${\varepsilon}_r=6.5$) between the separated parasitic patch and radiation patch for the purpose of miniaturize. And the form (${\varepsilon}_r=1.03$) were to fix the separated radiation patch and ground plans by air. Designed frequency bandwidth(VSWR 2:1) of the antenna showed broadband characteristic of $4.9[GHz]{\sim}6.1[GHz]$ to about 1.2[GHz]. Also the E-plan and H-plan profit 12[dBi] above, the 3[dB] beamwidth showed the characteristic over the E-plan $30^{\circ}$ and H-plan $60^{\circ}$ to be improved.

The commercial green tea leaves were packaged with polyethylene film and irradiated by electron beam at doses of 0, 5, 10, 20, and 30 kGy. After irradiation, green teas were prepared by soaking the leaves in water (1 g/100 mL) at $75^{\circ}C$ for 10 min, and the physicochemical characteristics of green tea were determined. Electron beam irradiation decreased total phenol contents (TPC), total flavanol contents (TFC), ascorbic acid contents (AAC). Irradiation at dose of 20 kGy decreased TPC, TFC, and AAC from 223.46, 32.50, and 6.03 mg/g to 202.88, 31.16, and 5.57 mg/g, respectively, compared with non irradiated control. Electron beam irradiation also decreased catechins, caffeine, and nitrite scavenging activity of green tea. However, the changes of overall color and radical scavenging activity of irradiated green tea were negligible.

The chromosome numbers of bagrid catfish, Pseudobagrus fulvidraco was 52, nine pairs (No. 1 to 9) were metacentrics with the range of relative length 2.89~6.22 and arm ratio 1.09~1.58 ; thirteen pairs (No. 10 to 22) were submetacentrics with the range of relative length 2.88~5.88 and arm ratio 1.80~3.65 ; and all other pairs (No. 23 to 26) were acrocentrics with the range of relative length 2.63~3.30 and arm ratio 9.01~10.67, and fundamental number was 104. Heteromorphic sex chromosomes were not found. There was not exist significant difference in resultant erythrocyte measurements and parameters between female and male (p<0.05). The mean sizes of cell and nucleus, were $11.03{\times}9.67{\mu}m$ and $4.18{\times}3.66{\mu}m$ respectively. The number of erythrocytes of both females and males were $6{\sim}7{\times}10^5/ml$. Gill tissues from diploid individuals had cells with one or two nucleoli.

In recent years, there has been considerable concern over the release of methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), a gasoline additive, into the aquifers used as potable water sources. MTBE readily dissolves in water and has entered the environment via gasoline spills and leaking storage tanks. In this study air stripping and ozonation of MTBE in aqueous solution were performed in a laboratory scale batch reacter. The mass transfer rate (N) was evaluated and a values about $1.24{\times}10^{-6}\;mol{\cdot}sec^{-1}$ was found. In the ozonation of MTBE a 8.3% decrease of the COD and a 6.5% decrease of the TOC lead to BOD/COD = 0.03. The peudo first-order rate constants of the ozonation of MTBE was $3.75{\times}10^{-5}\;sec^{-1}$. The resulting Ea of 4.80 kcal；mol-1 was observed for molecular ozone reactions.

In this paper, we propose a method to select motion vector predictor by considering prediction structure of a multi view content for coding efficiency of multi view coding which is being standardized in JVT. Motion vector of a different tendency is happened while carrying out temporal and view reference prediction of multi-view video coding. Also, due to the phenomena of motion vectors being searched in both temporal and view order, the motion vectors do not agree with each other resulting a decline in coding efficiency. This paper is about how the motion vector predictor are selected with information of prediction structure. By using the proposed method, a compression ratio of the proposed method in multi-view video coding is increased, and finally $0.03{\sim}0.1$ dB PSNR(Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio) improvement was obtained compared with the case of JMVM 3.6 method.

Porous asymmetric membranes based on PVdF as a nascent membrane were prepared by using a phase inversion method. PVdF ion conductive composite membranes were finally made by introducing $SO_3{^-}$ from sulfuric acid after cross-linked PS with various DVB contents in the pores of PVdF. Final PVdF composite membranes were characterized by FTIR, SEM, EDS to verify $SO_3{^-}$. It was revealed that the solvent contents and ion exchange capacity (IEC) decreased with increase of the degree of cross-linking. As the degree of crosslink increases both the electric conductivity and methanol permeability decreased, which was showing the better values than Nafion 117. When DVB content was 8%, its electric conductivity ($5.58{\times}10^{-5}S/cm$) was similar to Nafion 117 ($6.03{\times}10^{-5}S/cm$). But the lower methanol permeability ($1.0{\times}10^{-6}cm^2/sec$) than that of Nafion 117 was obtained.

This study was conducted to identify the effect of laughter therapy on the moods, pain and stress of the patients in a hospice ward. Participants were divided as control (23 patients), and experimental group (26 patients). Laughter therapy was provided for 5 days, and 20-30 minutes per day. Data collected on the $3^{rd}$ and $8^{th}$ day, respectively, were analyzed using SPSS win 24.0 program, Chi-square test, fisher's exact test, Independent-test, and Mann-Whitney U test. Experimental groups showed the significant differences in Mood (t= -12.88, p<.001), Pain (t= -6.38, p<.001) and Stress (z= -6.03, p<.001). Conclusion: Laughter therapy was an effective nursing intervention to relieve the negative mood condition, pain and stress on patients, as one of the daily nursing services in the hospice ward.

In this paper, an antenna applicable to WLAN and WiMAX frequency bands is designed, fabricated, and measured. The proposed antenna is designed to have two branch strip line in the patch plane and a rectangular slit in the ground plane based on microstrip feeding for triple band characteristics and added a vertical strip in the ground plane to enhance impedance bandwidth characteristics. The proposed antenna is designed on a substrate with a relative permittivity of 4.4, a thickness of 1.0 mm, and has a size of $18.0mm(W1){\times}37.3mm$ (L4+L5+L7). From the fabricated and measured results, impedance bandwidths of 480 MHz (2.32 to 2.80 GHz) for 2.4/2.5 GHz band, 810 MHz (3.22 to 4.03 GHz) for 3.5 GHz band, and 1,820 MHz (5.05 to 6.87 GHz) for 5.0 GHz band were obtained based on the impedance bandwidth. Measured 3D pattern and gains are displayed.
