Purpose With the recent rise of social issue regarding radiation exposure, attention to medical radiation use has been placed under a great spotlight. During PET-CT examination, generally about 40% more of $^{18}F$-FDG is used than EANM recommendation. While maintaining the diagnostic test result, we hope to find optimal injection dose to minimize the $^{18}F$-FDG in patients by utilizing the latest PET-CT scanner which is equiped with the newest technology. Materials and Methods During this experiment, the Biograph Truepoint 40 (siemens, USA) installed in 2007 and mCT 64 (siemens, USA) installed in 2011 were used and evaluated NECR (noise-equivalent counting rate) by using a scatter phantom. For the image quality evaluation of each scanner, we injected 3.7, 4.44 and 5.18 MBq/kg of $^{18}F$-FDG in NEMA IEC Body Phantom and also evaluated SNR between two scanners by using the data acquired at 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110 and 120 sec per bed. For the clinical evaluation, actual data of patients who were injected $^{18}F$-FDG 3.7, 4.44, 5.18 MBq/kg were used to compare SNR and draw a final result. Results As a result, mCT 64 peak NECR value was 1.65e+005, which is 10% higher than Turepoint 40. SNR values using the IEC body phantom was 17.9%, 17.4% and 17.1% higher in $^{18}F$-FDG 3.7 MBq/kg, 4.44 MBq/kg and 5.18 MBq/kg. In clinical patients, SNR values of the image mCT 64 was 16.5, which is 25% higher than Turepoint 40 scanner. Conclusion To draw a conclusion from the test result of this experiment, the same quality of SNR could be attained even with 10% reduced injection dose, if when the duration is extended by 10 sec/bed. This optimal result was possible due to enhanced equipment. The NECR (one of the equipment's performance assessment criteria for the scanner) increased by 10% and the SNR (one of the image quality assessment criteria) also increased by 17.5%. Therefore, we can expect to reduce the injection dose without deterioration of image quality. In consequence, it will also help to decrease the patient's anxiety of the radiation exposure.

Eighteen strains of Clostpidium perfringens were isolated from the piglets with hemorrhagic enteritis. The characteristics of the outbreaks, clinical signs and lesions were examined. The biochemical properties, type of toxins and susceptibility to antimicrobial agents against the isolates were investigated. 1. The incidence of diarrhea was appeared in 97(22.4%) of 432 piglets examined. 2. The isolation rate of Cl perfingens from the 97 diarrheal faeces were 18.5%(18 strains) 3. The population of Cl perfingens in feces were ranged $10^{8-9}$cfu/g in 5(32.5%) and $10^{3-7}$cfu/g in 13(67.4%) of 18 samples. 4. The toxin type of the 18 isolates investigated by mouse inoculation test was all type C strains of Cl perfringens. 5. As a results of antimicrobial susceptibility test, 18 isolates were higly susceptible to cephalothin, tetracycline and penicillin.

PVC membrane electrodes based on the lipophilic neutral carrier, dibenzo-18-crown-6, cyclic oligomers of teit-butylphenol-formaidehyde condensates, calix[4]arenes as the active sensors for verapamil have been prepared and tested in a variety of plasticizers. At pH 5.0, the electrode exhibits a Nernstian response in the range of 10$^{-2}$~5$\times$10$^{-5}$ M verapamil with a slope of 49.1$\pm$0.5mV per concentration decade. The electrode constructed in this work can be used continuously for at least 1 month before any damage to the membrane occurs. And the analyses of the local anesthetic amine, which are good to select a specific compound in a mixed solution, were also accomplished by using of another neutral carrier, a DB18C6, for comparing with calix[4]arene.

These surveys were designed to know decreasing rate of cocoon production all over the country and purchased amount of cocoons at public market which had been caused by various diseases in autumn of 1975. The results can be summarized as follows; 1. Percentage of sericuitural houses which sustain disease damage was 18.5 percent, and cocoon yield per box in bad crop houses was 8.8kg smaller than that in normal houses. 2. About 838M/T of decreased cocoons and 5.6 percent of damaging rate can be estimated in this autumn throughout the country. 3. In our country, it was 40.9 per cent of Grasseril and 34.5 per cent of Flacherie of silkworm diseases.

Lipids in dry peas were extracted by the mixture of chloroform-methanol-water, and from the extracted lipids triacylglycerols(TG) were separated by thin layer chromatography. TG were separated into different fractions according to partition numbers by HPLC. Each of these collected fractions was analyzed on the basis of acyl carbon number by GLC, and their fatty acid compositions were also analyzed by GLC. From these results, the possible fatty acid combinations of TG in dry peas were estimated to be thirty three kinds and the major kinds were as follows $C_{16:0}C_{18:2}C_{18:2}(13.4%),\;C_{18:1}C_{18:2}C_{18:3}(9.3%),\;C_{18:1}C_{18:2}C_{18:2}(9.2%),\;C_{18:2}C_{18:2}C_{18:2}(8.1%),\;C_{18:2}C_{18:2}C_{18:3}(6.4%),\;and\;C_{18:0}C_{18:1}C_{18:2}(5.4%)$.

This study examined the geochemical characteristics, equilibrium temperature and pressure conditions, and oxygen isotopic ratios of mantle xenoliths from the various geological sites of the Korean peninsula. The results are as follows: (1) The ultramafic xenoliths from the Korean peninsula mainly consist of typical high magnesium olivine (MgO : 49.12-50.95 wt.%, Mg value: 90.1-92.2), corresponding to worldwide Cenozoic ultramafic xenoliths in chemical compositions. (2) The pressure-temperature conditions of ultramafic xenoliths in the Korean peninsula are from 854 to $1016^{\circ}C$ and 4.6 to 24.4 kbar. (3) The oxygen isotopic ratios (${\delta}^{18}O$) for olivines in ultramafic xenoliths range from 5.06‰ to 5.51‰, which are relatively uniform oxygen isotopic values and overlapped by the values of N-MORB and upper mantle peridotite (${\delta}^{18}O$: $5.2{\pm}0.2$‰). However, olivines of the ultramafic xenoliths from the Baegdusan and Chejudo have a relatively wide ${\delta}^{18}O$ values ranging from 5.07 to 5.51‰ and 5.07 to 5.45‰, respectively. Based on the results, this study suggests that the high ${\delta}^{18}O$ signature of the Baegdusan xenoliths give a hint that ~5% of the oxygen in typical EM2 sources originally derived from recycled sediments.

The ion-selective membrane fabricated with 33 wt% PVC, 66 wt% o-NPOE and 1 wt% 4'-benzothiazolylbenzo-15-crown-5 (TB15C5) as a neutral carrier exhibited an enhanced selectivity to potassium ion over sodium ion compared to those prepared with other 15-crown-5 or 18-crown-6 derivatives. The potentiometric properties (response slope, selectivity, detection limits and lifetime) of TB15C5-based ISE membranes along with those based on valinomycin, benzo-15-crown-5 (B15C5), 4'-aminobenzo-15-crouwn-5 (AB15C5), benzo-18-crown-6 (B18C6), dibenzo-18-crown-6 (DB18C6) and bis[(benzo-15-crown-5)-4'-ylmethyl]pimelate (PI-Ⅱ) ionophores were carefully examined under the same experimental conditions. The enhanced selectivity of TB15C5-based membrane to potassium is explained in terms of the effect of the benzothiazol functional group and the distribution coefficients of metal ions.

This study surveyed on eye size, face types and glasses wears of normal 100 young peoples from 20 to 30 years old. The analysis of data resulted in as follows: 1. The vertical eye size were in case of below 2.4 mm (2%), 2.5-2.9 mm (40%), 3.0-3.5 mm (57%), and in case of high 3.6 mm (1%). 2. The horzontal eye size were in case of below 1.1 mm (52%), 1.2-1.4 mm (28%), 1.5-1.7 mm (18%), and in case of high 1.8 mm (2%). 3. As a whole, the face types were oval type (29%), round type (24%), square type (18%), and triangle type (2%). 4. As the male, the face types were oval type (32%), round type (10%), square type (26%), and triangle type (32%). 5. As the female, the face types were oval type (18%), round type (40%), square type (12%), and triangle type (30%). 6. As a whole, the FPD size were in case of larger than PD (49%), in case of suitable (25%), in case of smaller than PD (49%). 7. As the male, the FPD size were in case of larger than PD (28%), in case of suitable (36%), and in case of smaller than PD (32%). 8. As the female, the FPD size were in case of larger than PD (44%), in case of suitable (26%), and in case of smaller than PD (30%).

This essay is focused on finding women's voice in oral narratives of social memory of national violence and resistance. The books of oral narratives of women who had experienced the national violence and participated in the resistance through historic events such as 5.18, have been published recently. This study is based on the materials that have interviewed women experienced the historic event '5.18' in Gwangju. In this study, there are analyses of the materials of the memory of violence and resistance of '5.18', which have contained the texts written by intellectual males and the oral narratives of females directly involved. So far, the memory and experience of women have not been presented in its entirety in the field of social discourse of '5.18'. In the field women's words were translated in men's words, so the real words disappeared and in the end remained unspoken words. And besides, the existence of women are substituted with the limited images (for example women's body destroyed) presented by men's words in memorial materials. In narratives of '5.18', women are reduced to the images of bodies destroyed by national violence. The destroyed bodies are places for exhibition and disclosure of national violence. Women are not presented as the subjects of the social resistance in oral or written narratives of '5.18'. The images of females are only vehicles to urge the male subjects to resist against unjust violence. In this context, men are interpreted for the protectors of sisters, daughters, wives. Since 1980s, the symbol of '5.18 Gwangju' has represented the most ideal community in Korean society. But women have been on the borderline or outside of the community in fact. However, women intend to construct themselves as the subjects of resistance through the spoken words. They have tried to make the politic places for themselves in the social field by speaking and speaking constantly. The desire to speak out is becoming stronger for women, so these days more words are spoken by more women and more oral narratives made by women are revealed in social discoursive field. So the place for women's voice is expanding in social memorial field of '5.18'.

문화재청(청장 최광식)이 유네스코 세계기록유산으로 등재 신청한 '일성록'(국보 제153호)과' 5.18 민주화운동기록물'이 2011년 5월 25일자로 영국 맨체스터에 열린 제10차 세계기록유산 국제자문위원회에서 유네스코 세계기록유산으로 최종 등재됐다. 또한 문화재청과 외교통상부는 제11차 세계기록유산 국제자문위원회를 2013년 한국에서 공동으로 개최할 계획이다. 이번 등재로 한국은 총 9개의 세계 기록유산을 보유하게 됐으며, 이는 아시아에서는 첫 번째, 세계에서는 다섯 번째로 많은 국가에 해당한다.
