고효율 고전력 밀도를 제공하는 공진형 컨버터에 있어서 스위치에 걸리는 전압 스트레스는 입력전압의 4∼5배 정도여서, 높은 정격의 소자를 필요로 하기 때문에 전도손실을 증가시킨다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 제안했던 교번으로 동작하는 포워드 다중공진형 컨버터에 적용한 회로 형태를 다른 컨버터에 적용한 예를 제시하였다. 그리고 제안한 AT포워드 다중공진형 컨버터의 루프 이득 특성을 알아보기 위해 HP4194A 네트워크 해석기를 이용해 실험적으로 측정한 결과에 대해 고찰하였다.

차등 시공간 블록 코드 시스템은 다이버시티 이득을 송신단에서 파일럿 삽입이 필요 없이 얻을 수 있는 기술로 주목되고 있다. 특히, 협력 네트워크 시스템에서 서비스 영역을 확장하기 위하여 중계기를 사용하게 되는데 자연스럽게 채널 추정 기법을 고려하지 않은 방법들이 연구 되었다. 본 논문은 차등 준 시공간 블록 코드를 이용한 협력 전송 네트워크에서 ML(Maximum Likelihood) 기반의 준 최적 신호 결합 기법을 제시한다. 모의실험 결과를 통해 제안된 수신 결합 기법은 높은 신호 대 잡음비 환경에서 기존에 널리 사용되는 MRC (Maximum Ratio Combining) 기법보다 5dB이상의 이득을 얻는 것을 보여준다.

In the resonant converters which can provide high efficiency and high power density, the resonant voltage stress is about $4\~5$ times the input voltage. It needs the power switch with high ratings. This is a reason why the conduction loss is increased. In this paper, it proposes the alternately zero voltage switched forward, flyback multi resonant converter topology for reducing the voltage stress using alternately zero voltage switching technique. And the proposed AT forward MRC Is experimentally considered about the loop gain with HP4194A network analyzer

Epidermal growth factor(EGF) known as a urgastrone is a powerful mitogen with a wide variety of possibilities for medical usages. A mature EGF coding region was isolated from human prepro-EGF sequence by a conventional PCR and cloned into pQE vector in which the gene product was supposed to be expressed with 6$\times$His tag for the subsequent purification. The recombinant mature EGF was expressed in M15[Rep4], an Escherichia coli host strain, in amount of 30-40% of total proteins pressent in E. coli extract by the addition of isopropylthio-$\beta$-galactopyranoside (IPTG). The recombinant EGF purified using a Ni2+-NTA affinity colume chromatography was active in its ability to induce phosphorylation on tyrosine residues of several substrate proteins when murine NH3T3 and human MRC-5 fibroblast cells were stimulated with it. This work may provide the basic technology and information for the production of recombinant EGF.

Narrow-band interference (NBI) from the coexisting narrow-band services affects the performance of ultra wideband (UWB) systems considerably due to the high power of these narrow-band signals with respect to the UWB signals. Specifically, IEEE 802.11a systems which operate around 5 GHz and overlap the band of UWB signals may interfere with UWB systems significantly. In this paper, we suggest a novel NBI suppression technique based on singular value decomposition (SVD) algorithm in time hopping UWB (TH-UWB) systems. SVD is used to approximate the interference which then is subtracted from the received signals. The algorithm precision and closed-form bit error rate (BER) expression are derived in the wireless multipath channel. Comparing with the conventional suppression methods such as a notch filter and a RAKE receiver, the proposed method is simple and robust and especially suitable for UWB systems.

Methiozolin (5-(2,6-difluoro-benzyloxymethyl)-5-methyl-3-(3-methyl- thiophen-2-yl)- 4,5-dihydro-isoxazole) is a new turf herbicide in isoxazoline chemistry. The herbicide controls grass weeds and has a high safety to various cool and warm season turfgrasses. This paper describes basic chemical, biological, and regulatory information of methiozolin.

라오스 정부는 증가할 것으로 예상되는 전기 수요량을 충족하기 위해, 남능강 유역 내에 기존 8개소의 발전소 외에도 발전소 댐을 지속적으로 개발하고 있거나 기존 발전소의 발전 설비용량을 증설하고 있다. 이에 따라 라오스 정부는 발전소를 효율적으로 운영하기 위해 기존 저수지 운영규정 곡선(reservoir operation rule curve)을 갱신할 필요성을 제기하였다. 본 연구는 이를 위해 범용적인 동적 계획법(Dynamic Programming:DP) 프로그램인 CSUDP를 활용하여 발전소에서 생산되는 연간 발전량을 극대화하기 위해 현재의 단독 운영체계 외에 연계 운영체계도 검토하였다. 이의 결과로부터 적절한 운영규정 곡선 형태(URC/LRC, MRC)를 추출하였고, 이를 HEC-ResSim 프로그램의 저수지 운영 세트의 운영기초 자료로 입력하여 연간 발전량을 모의하였다. 모의된 연간 발전량과 기존의 운영규정 곡선, 운영실적, 그리고 현장 운영자의 의견 등을 종합하여, 대상 발전소의 연간 발전량을 최대화하는 최적의 저수지 운영규정 곡선(reservoir operation rule curve)을 개발하였다. 이 경우, 저수지를 연계하여 운영하는 체계가 저수지 단독의 운영체계보다 연계에 따른 시너지 효과로 약 2.5 %의 발전량을 더 생산하는 것으로 모의 되었다.

To investigate less toxic antiviral agents from Basidiomycetes, EA, the water soluble substance, was isolated from the carpophores of Elfvingia applanata (pers.) Karst. Anti-varicella zoster virus (Oka strain; anti-VZV/Oka) activity of EA was examined in MRC-5 cells by plaque reduction assay in vitro. And the combined antiviral effects of EA with nucleoside anti-VZV agents, acyclovir and vidarabine, were examined on the multiplication of VZV/Oka. EA exhibited a concentration-dependent reduction in the plaque formation of VZV/Oka with a 50% effective concentration $(EC_{50})$ of $464.14\;{\mu}g/ml$. The results of combination assay were evaluated by the combination index (CI) that was calculated by the multiple drug effect analysis. The combination of EA with acyclovir showed more potent synergism with CI values of $0.18{\sim}0.62$ for $50{\sim}90%$ effective levels than that of EA with vidarabine with CI values of $0.67{\sim}1.04$.

A case of traumatic spondyloptosis of the cervical spine at the C6-C7 level is reported. The patient was treated succesfully with a anterior-posterior combined approach and decompression. The patient had good neurological outcome after surgery. A-51-year-old female patient was transported to our hospital's emergency department after a vehicle accident. The patient was quadriparetic (Asia D, MRC power 4/5) with severe neck pain. Plain radiographs, computerize tomography and spinal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed C6-7 spondyloptosis and C5, C6 posterior element fractures. Gardner-Wells skeleton traction was applied. Spinal alignment was reachived by traction and dislocation was decreased to a grade 1 spondylolisthesis. Then the patient was firstly operated by anterior approach. Anterior stabilization and fusion was firstly achieved. Seven days after first operation the patient was operated by a posterior approach. The posterior stabilization and fusion was achieved. Postoperative lateral X-rays and three-dimensional computed tomography showed the physiological realignment and the correct screw placements. The patient's quadriparesis was improved significantly. Subaxial cervical spondyloptosis is a relatively rare clinical entity. In this report we present a summary of the clinical presentation, the surgical technique and outcome of this rarely seen spinal disorder.

본 논문에서는 주파수 선택적 Rayleigh 페이딩 채널에서 MIMO 검출 기법의 성능이 이론적으로 분석된다. 제시되는 MIMO 검출 구조는 시공간 결합기와 ZF 검출기로 구성되며 이 구조는 $N_T$ 송신안테나, $N_R$ 수신안테나, 그리고 L 다중경로 성분을 활용하는 시스템으로 $LN_R-N_T+1$의 다양성을 얻을 수 있음을 보인다. 또한 주파수 선택적 Rayleigh 페이딩 채널에서의 BER 공식이 제공되고 시뮬레이션 결과와 비교 분석한다.
