Site coefficient and amplification factor of current domestic Seismic Design Code (KBC-2009) have no consideration for the domestic ground condition in which the base rock is normally placed within 30m form the surface. Accordingly, in this study dynamic centrifugal test and analysis for pile foundation into sand and upper structure were achieved. and the response spectrums of free surface and basement were compared with each other. Within the period 1 sec., the measured spectral acceleration of free surface and basement was bigger than the design spectral acceleration of SC and SD site. However the measured spectral acceleration of free surface and basement for the period over 1.5 sec. was smaller than the design spectral acceleration of SC site. There was no severe difference of spectral acceleration according to the upper structure, embedded depth of foundation and free surface conditions. Consequently, normal domestic apartment housing for the period range over 1.5sec. could be design more economically applying these test result.

Linear free energy relation ship(LFER) on the insecticidal activity of O,O-diethylphenylphosphate (A) and 3,5-dimethylphenyl-O,O-diethylphosphate (B) derivatives were studied by EHT MO calculation method and regression analysis method. LFER between varying substituent constants and $pI_{50}$ constants of phosphates, (A) & (B) were calculated with applying Hammett, Okamoto-Brown, Taft and Swain-Lupton's DSP equations;percent resonance effect(R) and field effect(F) of (A) were %R=33.5 & %F=66.5 and also that of (B) were %R=2 & %F=98, respectively. On the basis of above findings, the insecticidal activities were similar for both (A) and (B), but (B) have larger field and inductive contribution than (A), due to the 3,5-dimethyl group of (B).

Most of pile foundations are a condition of fixed head on pile, but lateral loading test of pile have performed to free head on generally. This study performed field lateral loading test accompanying lateral displacement by depth of pile for two cases(fixed head and free head) and analyzed lateral behavior of large drilled shaft. Furthermore compared theoretical equation with result of lateral loading test.

지난 8월 16일에서 24일까지 영국 글래스고에서 개최된 제68차 국제도서관협회연맹 대회 총회에서는 '도서관, 정보서비스 기관, 지적 자유에 관한 글래스고 선언(The Glasgow Declaration Libraries, Information Services and Intellectual Freedom, 원문은 http://www.ifla.org/faife/policy/iflastat/gldeclar-e.html 참조)'과 'IFLA 인터넷 설명서(The IFLA Internet Manifesto, 원문은 http://www.ifla.org/III/misc/internetmanif.htm 참조)'가 채택되었다. 이 같은 성명의 체택은 도서관ㆍ정보분야에서 지적자유에 관해 국제적 합의를 명확히 하고 이해와 협력을 구하기 위한 것으로 지난 해 발생한 미국 9.11테러 사태 이후 일어나고 있는 일련의 조치에 (국민의 기본권을 제한할 수 있는 법률의 제정 등) 대한 도서관계의 능동적인 대응이라는 의미가 크다. 국내 도서관인에게 참고가 될 만한 자료라 생각되어 '도서관문화' 편집실에서 이를 번역하여 게재코자 한다.

The concept of standard error ellipse and confidence ellipse is vtilized in the detection of displaced station which are uncluded in the observational network. In this paper, the influences on the accuracy of unknown stations according to the varied selection and geometrical conditions of fixed stations were evaluated. And then the displaced stations were detected by error ellipse concept, and the amounts of displacement were determined by coordinate differences between epochs which were calculated by fixed point adjustment and free network adjustment. As a result, it is found that the free network adjustment is more efficient in the detection and displacement calculation of displaced stations.

Generally, free carrier densities of single crystal semiconductors are indifferent to methods of measurement. Free carrier densities of CdSe thin films, however, were measured invarious values with different methods In this paper, C-V method, Seebeck effect and a.c. Hall effect were used to measure carries densities of CdSe thin films. Carrier densities of CdSe thin films were in the range of 10 - 10 carriers/㎤. And causes of different results were discussed.

The motion response results of a submerged submarine section in waves are presented. The numerical method is based on Cauchy's integral and 3 degrees-of-freedom motions of submarine sections are calculated in two dimensions, in regular waves. The fully nonlinear free surface and body boundary conditions are applied to the present problem, and the viscous effects on the submarine are modeled by Morison's formulas. The motions of submarine sections in beam sea are directly simulated and the effects of wave frequency, snorkel depth, and bridge are discussed.

본 연구에서는 EDISON의 해석자를 활용하여 선박의 최적 운항 자세 도출과 같은 실용적 문제 해석뿐 만 아니라 자유 수면 및 대칭 경계 조건이 수직한 몰수 익형 주위 유동에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 학술적 연구를 수행하였다. 선박의 자세에 따른 저항 변화를 분석한 결과 0.5m 선수 트림에서 선체 저항이 가장 작은 것으로 나타났으며, 이는 유동 가속에 의한 선수 어깨부의 낮은 압력 및 선미부에서의 압력 회복에 의한 것이다. 반면, 1.0m 선미 트림에서 선체 저항이 가장 큰 것으로 나타났는데, 평형 상태보다 선미부의 압력 회복이 약하기 때문이다. 또한 자유 수면과 대칭 경계 조건이 날개 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 비현실적 대칭경계 조건으로 인해 날개 양력이 13%~16% 크게 나타났으므로 대칭경계조건을 사용할 경우에는 이러한 오차를 감안해야 한다.

배기속도 2500 L/s, 최고진공도 10-10 mbar의 구현을 목표로 하는 대용량 복합 분자펌프 설계를 위한 3차원 유동해석을 실시하였다. 진공도가 10-5 mbar 이상이 되는 고진공도에서는 Knudsen 수가 102 이상이 되어러 분자간 충돌을 거의 무시할 수 있게 되며, 이때의 유체해석 방법으로서는 통상 희박기체 해석법으로 많이 쓰이는 Direct simulation Monte Carlo 방법보다, 충돌이 없는 분자의 자유운동을 모사하는 Monte Carlo 방법이 더 적합할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 다단계 rotor와 stator로 구성되는 복합분자 내 유동장에 Monte Carlo 해석법을 적용하여 유동해석을 실시하였다. 다양한 변수의 조합에 대한 수치적 해석에서, 복합분자펌프의 성능에 영향을 미치는 중요한 설계변수는 rotor-stator의 날개각, 유동방향 회전축의 두께 변화 등, 진행방향 분자의 모멘텀에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 변수들임이 확인되었다.

The characteristics of enzymatic methanolysis of castor oil were investigated as a clean technology. Among 16 lipases tested in this study, Novozym 435 showed the highest activity in methanolysis. Solvents had different effects on the methanolysis of castor oil according to weight percent (wt%) of Novozym 435. Heptane showed best activity with 1 wt% of Novozym 435, while isopropyl ether gave the best yield of ricinoleic acid methyl ester with 0.5 wt% of that. Ricinoleic acid methyl ester was obtained in 86% of yield through the methanolysis of castor oil catalyzed by Novozym 435 (1.0 wt%) during 24hr.
