일반적으로 고성능의 레이스카나 스포츠카 시장에서 차량의 프레임 설계는 매우 중요한 기술적 요소로 작용하고 있다. 차량의 비틀림 강성은 차량의 코너링 성능에 많은 영향을 주기 때문에 레이스 차량에 있어 우수한 성능의 프레임이라는 것은 높은 비틀림 강성을 가진다는 것을 뜻한다. 본 연구에서는 입문용 포뮬러 레이스카 프레임의 최적 비틀림 강성 설계를 위하여 다구찌 직교배열표를 가진 실험계획법과 유한요소 해석 기술을 이용하였다. 이러한 기법을 통해서 얻은 결과가 초기설계단계에서 보다 14.5%의 무게를 감량함과 동시에 무게 대비 비틀림 강성 10.7%의 개선 효과를 볼 수가 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 직교배열표를 가지는 실험계획법을 이용한 구조해석이 설계 초기단계에서 저가형 레이스 차량에 사용되는 Tubular space frame 설계에 매우 유용함을 나타내고 있다.

An electric motor unit (EMU) is manufactured from a large number of components and parts which are made of extensive raw materials. In emits much environmental load throughout its entire life cycle, having both complicated and elaborated system and long period of life time. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the methodologies and tools to analyze the environmental performance of EMUs throughout their life cycle. RACE (Rail Assessment for Clean Environment) developed in this study is the software that can analyze the environmental impacts and eco-efficiency of EMUs, which are new concepts proposed for sustainable development. It has database for main components as well as principal materials contained in EMUs. Manufacturers and operators can use it to assess the life-cycle environmental impacts of EMU and support their decision making. RACE can also be used as a tool for environmental communication between manufacturers and operators.

기존의 Cx 배열을 참고로 종내${cdot}$종간을 통하여 잘 보존되어져 있는 영역에서 primer를 설계하고, 은어의 난소를 재료로 하여 PCR을 실시하였다. 증폭된 cDNA 단편을 이용하여, 5'RACE 및 3'RACE법에 의해 미지의 영역을 cloning하여 난소에서 발현하는 Cx cDNA의 전염기배열을 결정하였다. 기존의 Cx 배열과 상동성을 비교한 결과, 대서양산 민어의 Cx32.7과 $63.8{\%}$, bovine의 Cx44와 $61.6{\%}$ 및 대서양산 민어의 Cx32.2와는 $56.7{\%}$의 상동성이 나타났다. 본 cDNA는 35,028 Da의 분자량을 code하는 open reading frame (ORF)으로 구성되어 있어, 은어 Cx35로 명명되었다. 또한 아미노산 배열의 친수성${\cdot}$소수성 영역의 분포예측 결과, 4곳의 소수성 영역과 4곳의 친수성 영역을 교차하는 전형적인 Cx의 구조와 일치하였으며, Cx family의 공통${\cdot}$필수적인 배열인 제1세포외 domain의 consensus 배열 및 제2세포외 domain의 consensus 배열도 존재하였다.

서광벼/밀양5004, HR 1619-6-2-1-2-2 /밀양5004 및 55061/IR 19735-5-2-3-2-1등 3개 조합의 F$_1$ 잡종과 이들 양친품종들의 혼묘를 각각 도열병 race IA-61, IB-47, IC-13 및 IH-1 등의 단독 race와 IC-13과 IA-61, IC-13과 IB-47 및 IC-13과 IH-1 등 2 race씩의 혼합 inoculum으로 접종시켜 이들의 잎도열병 발병반을을 검토하였다. 3개 조합의 양친품종들은 단독 race에 대해서 서로 다른 반응을 보여 각각 서로 다른 저항성 유전자의 지배를 받는 것으로 나타났다. 이들 서로 다른 정항성 유진자를 가진 양친품종들은 반응이 다른 2 race 씩의 혼합 inoculum에 대해서 모두 이병성이었으나 이들간의 F$_1$ 잡종은 모두 저항성이었다. 저항성 유전자가 서로 다른 양친품종간의 F$_1$ 잡종은 저항성 유전자의 집적효과로 인해 양친보다 광범한한 저항성을 나타내었다.

본 논문에서는 마이크로스트림 전송선로에 주기적으로 삽입된 좁은 폭의 슬릿을 이용하여 물리적 길이가 소형화되는 전송 선로인 ILCTL(inductively loaded compact transmission line)을 소개하였다. 주기적으로 부가된 좁은 폭의 슬릿은 마이크로스 트립 전송선로에서 직렬로 부가되는 인덕턴스 역할을 함으로써 전송선로의 길이를 소형화한다. 그리고 이러한 ILCTL을 이용하여 소형화된 rat-race 결합기를 구현하였다. 1.8 GHz에서 구현된 소형화된 rat-race 결합기는 일반적인 구조에 비해 60％의 크기를 가짐을 MoM(methods of moments)기반의 full-wave analysis를 이용한 2.5D EM(electromagnetic) solver의 계산과 제작 및 측정을 통하여 확인하였다.

We describe the development of a polymerase chain reaction method for the rapid, precise, and specific detection of the Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) K3a race, the bacterial blight pathogen of rice. The specific primer set was designed to amplify a genomic locus derived from an amplified fragment length polymorphism specific for the K3a race. The 1,024 bp amplicon was generated from the DNA of 13 isolates of Xoo K3a races out of 119 isolates of other races, pathovars, and Xanthomonas species. The assay does not require isolated bacterial cells or DNA extraction. Moreover, the pathogen was quickly detected in rice leaf 2 days after inoculation with bacteria and at a distance of 8 cm from the rice leaf 5 days later. The results suggest that this PCR-based assay will be a useful and powerful tool for the detection and identification of the Xoo K3a race in rice plants as well as for early diagnosis of infection in paddy fields.

본 논문에서는 주파수 측정기의 핵심 소자이며 위상 비교 방향 탐지기의 핵심 소자인 위상 변별기를 설계하였다. Microwave Frequency대역 분류를 기준으로 하여 C-Band의 주파수 신호를 처리하는 광대역 Correlator를 설계하였다. 위상 번별기를 구성하는 광대역 2단 2way Power Divider를 설계하였으며, $180^{\circ}$ Metamaterial Hybrid Rat-Race Coupler와 $90^{\circ}$ Hybrid Coupler를 설계하여, 일반적인 위상변별기와 비교하여, Compact하며, 광대역인 특성을 얻을 수 있었다. 위상 변별기의 구성은 광대역 소자를 사용하였으며 그 외 Phase를 맞추기 위한 Delay Line을 구성하였다.

In order to develop chili pepper bacterial spot resistant cultivars and near-isogenic lines (NILs) to prompt the molecular mapping of the resistance gene, we have run backcross breeding program since 1994. Two resistance genes against Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. vesicatoria Bs2 from Fla. XVR 3-25 and Bs3 from our breeding line 25-11-3-2, were introduced into a land race, Chilseongcho (abbreviated to Chilseong hereafter) with good fruit guality. We report here the testing of $BC_4F_3\;to\;BC_4F_5$. We found that $BC_4F_5$ lines of the crosses were homozygous with respect to the respective genes of introduction. The lines, in which Bs2 gene was introduced, were hypersensitively resistant to both race 1 and race 3 of X. axonopodis pv. vesicatoria, whereas, those in which Bs3 was introduced were resistant to race 1.

During the 5 years period(93-197) of Seoul racecourse Thoroughbred racing, 2i963 holies took an active part in Seoul Racecourse and 61,181 horses entered the racing.400 horses(305 : 1 time, 76 :2 times, 19 :3 times, total : 514 cases) had bled(EIPH) from their nostils after their races. Incidence of bleeding horses from the 21963 racehorses was 13.5%, and incidence of bleeding cases from the 61,181 horses was 0.84%. The average racing frequence (1.05 times/1 month) of bleeders was more than that(0.8 times/1 month) of total race-horses. There was tendency to higher incidence of bleeding at older in age, female in sex, England/ Ireland horses in origin, higher grade in performances heavier in body weight increased, larger in weight to be carried, mid or longer in racing distance, handicap race, spring in season. Relationship did not exist between bleeding and respiratory disease. These results suggested that frequent entering into the race should be controlled. And body weight regulation with conditioning is recommended far reducing incidence of EIPH. It is supposed to prevent bleeding that decrescent performance horses should not be entering long distance or handicap race.

콩씨스트선충(線蟲)에 대(對)한 저항성품종육성(抵抗性品種育成)을 위하여 경북, 충북, 전남 3 개도 13지역(地域)에서 콩씨스트선충(線蟲)의 race를 조사(調査)한 결과(結果), Race 1 이 1계통(系統) Race c가 1계통(系統) 그리고 Race 5가 11계통(系統)으로 우리나라에서는 Race 5가 우점 race임을 알 수 있었다. 콩씨스트선충(線蟲) Race 5에 대(對)한 재래종(在來種)콩 203계통(系統)에 대(對)하여 포장저항성검정결과(圃場抵抗性檢定結果) 재래종(在來種)은 계통번호(系統番號) 18, 21, 36, 38, 41, 42, 43, 45, 55, 59, 68, 72, 75, 79, 93, 94, 95, 98, 123, 131, 136, 146, 170, 174, 187, 190, 191 등 27 계통(系統)이 한뿌리당 씨스트의 수(數)가 10 개미만으로써 다른 계통(系統)에 비(比)하여 적게 증식(增植)되었고, 나머지 176계통(系統)은 많이 증식(增殖)되었다. 포장실험(圃場實驗)에서 비교적(比較的) 선충(線蟲)의 증식(增殖)이 적게된 27 계통(系統)을 선발(選拔)하여 Pot에서 재검사(再檢査)를 한 결과(結果) 계통번호(系統番號) 170(음성군, 조촌리(陰城那, 助村里)) 번이 한 주(株)당 씨스트의 수(數)가 10개로 중정도(中程度)의 저항성(抵抗性)을 나타냈고 계통번호(系統番號) 55(영풍군, 내림리(榮豊那, 內林里))번은 다른 계통(系統)에 비(比)하여 다소 선충(線蟲)의 증식(增殖)이 적게 되었으나 나머지 25계통(系統)은 모두 30개이상(個以上)으로 많이 증식(增植)되어 감수성(感受性)을 나타냈다. 그리고 도입품종(導入品種) 25종중(種中)에서는 Peking, IIlsoy, PI90763 등 3품종(品種)은 포장(圃場)과 Pot실험(實驗)에서 다같이 선충(線蟲)의 증식(增殖)이 전혀 되지않는 저항성(抵抗性)으로 나타났고 Custer. Delmar, Dyer, Jackson 등 4품종(品種)은 씨스트의 수가 10개미만으로 비교(比較的) 적게 증식(增殖)되어 중정도(中程度)의 저항성(抵抗性)을 나타냈으나 나머지 18품종(品種)은 감수성(感受性)을 나타냈다. 수량성(收量性)을 검사(檢査)한 재래종중(在來種中)에서는 계통번호(系統番號) 170번이 역시 주당분지수, 주당협수 주당협중, 100립에 있어서 무감염구(無感染區)에 비(比)하여 감수율(減收率)이 각각(各各) 0%, 1.8%, 1.2%, 1.7% 로서 외국(外國)에서 저항성품종(抵抗性品種)으로 알려진 Peking, PI90763 과 같은 경향을 나타냈다. 그리고 계통번호(系統番號) 55, 75, 187번은 다른 계통(系統)에 비(比)하여 다소 낮은 감소율(減少率)을 나타냈다. 도입종중(導入種中)에는 Peking 과 PI90763 이 주당분지수 주당협수, 주당협중 및 100립중에서 모두 1.6% 이하의 낮은 감소율(減少率)을 나타냈으나 Illsoy 는 주당협수와 주당협중에서 3.8% 및 3.4%의 다소 높은 감소율(減少率)을 나타낸 한편 Custer, Delmar, Dyer, Jackson 등은 비교적 감소율이 높게 나타났다.
