Acoustic Response of Hydrogen/Liquid Oxygen Flame in Stagnation-Point Flow (정체점 유동장에서 수소-액체산소 화염의 음향파 응답 특성)

  • Steady-state structure and acoustic pressure responses of GH$_2$-LOx diffusion flames in stagnation-point flow configuration have been studied numerically with a detailed chemistry to investigate the acoustic instabilities. The Rayleigh criterion is adopted to judge the instability of the GH$_2$-LOx flames from amplification and attenuation responses at various acoustic pressure oscillation conditions for near-equilibrium to near-extinction regimes. Steady state flame structure showed that the chain branching zone is embedded in surrounding two recombination zones. The acoustic responses of GH$_2$-LOx flame showed that the responses in near-extinction regime always have amplification effect regardless of realistic acoustic frequency. That is, GH$_2$-LOx flame near-extinction is much sensitive to pressure perturbation because of the strong effect of a finite-chemistry.

Effect of Polishing Grinding Conditions on Alkali-free Glass (무 알칼리 유리의 연마 조건에 따른 영향)

  • Owing to the introduction of various IT devices with emphasis on portability and design, the TFT (thin film transistor liquid crystal display) panel applied to IT devices has the same shape as the product, and the portability requirement of IT devices has resulted in a need for panels with higher rigidity. In this study, the effect of grinding conditions such as the feed rate and edge speed of edge grinding on the surface roughness and chipping of the machined surface is investigated using a metal bond wheel. During edge grinding of alkari-free glass, weak mechanical property of glass results in big chipping owing to generation of tensile stress at the end of grining operation. The results of this study show that the grinding characteristics of alkali-free glass are obtained and meet industry requirements.

  • 유선 IPTV 멀티캐스팅 서비스에서 증가되는 네트워크 트래픽 로드에 따른 화상 품질 측정과 화상 품질 변화에 대한 연구는 IPTV 서비스에 대한 관심이 현실화됨에 따라 필요하게 되었다. 또한, 다양한 무선 이동 단말의 등장으로 무선 IPTV 연구에서의 네트워크 트래픽 로드에 따른 화상 품질의 효과가 주어지는 네트워크 성능 확인 및 이를 활용하기 위한 보안에 대한 필요가 증대하게 되었다. 따라서 테스트 환경을 학교 네트워크로 확장하여 실제 IPTV 서비스 환경과 비슷한 학교 네트워크에서 네트워크 트래픽 로드 증가에 따른 무선 IPTV 멀티캐스팅 서비스에서의 보안 방안에 대해 연구하고자 한다.

Effects of Operating Variables on the Solid Circulation Rate in a Three-phase Circulating Fluidized Bed

  • Effects of operating variables on the solid circulation rate were investigated in a three-phase circulating fluidized bed, of which inside diameter was 0.102m and height was 3.5m, respectively. Gas velocity, primary and secondary liquid velocities, particle size and height of solid particles piled up in the solid recycle device were chosen as operating variables. The solid circulation rate increased with increasing primary and secondary liquid velocities and height of solid particles piled up in the solid recycle device, but decreased with increasing particle size. The value of solid circulation rate decreased only slightly with increasing gas velocity in the riser. The values of solid circulation rate were well correlated in terms of dimensionless groups within the experimental conditions.

  • In the shipbuilding process, the confined work spaces of the ship are formed continuously; the ventilation method can therefore be limited to dilution ventilation due to the complex structure and limited opening of the confined space. Also, it is difficult to evaluate air-quality using measurement and an adequate ventilation method. CFD simulation methods are typically used in analyzing ventilation efficiency in these cases. In this study, a method is suggested to analyze the air quality of the complex enclosures in shipbuilding using CFD. Especially, among the conventional indices, the ventilation efficiency scales or indices, the supply air contribution (SVE4), and the age of the air (SVE3) (fit for the confined and complex enclosure) were applied.

  • We have analyzed electrical characteristics of spot light solar cell modules and have completed fabrication of spot light solar cell modules. Before we test modules, we have carried about UV test of hologram. As a result of test, we have obtained 165% efficiency of hologram film. the other hand, we obtained 75% efficiency of general films. After we have fabricated solar modules and carried about field test, spot light solar cell modules with hologram have been investigated 17.3 A of Isc and 155.4 W of power.

  • The effects of an anti-rolling tank (ART) on vessel motions were numerically investigated. The potential-based BEM vessel motion simulation program and particle-based computational fluid dynamics program were dynamically coupled and used to perform a simulation of vessel motions with ART. From the time domain simulation results, the response amplitude operators for sway and roll motions were obtained and compared with the corresponding experimental and numerical results. Because the main purpose of ART was only to reduce roll motions, it was important to show that the natural properties of a floating vessel were not changed by the effects of ART. Various ART filling ratios and several ART positions were considered. In conclusion, ART only reduced the roll motion regardless of its filling ratio and position.

A Study on User Authentication Method for Foldable Screen-Based Devices (폴더블 스크린 기반 기기 사용자 인증기법 연구)

  • Smartphones are currently being produced with similar functions, shapes, and software. The foldable smartphone is a product that dramatically changed the shape of the existing smartphone. Therefore, it affects the functions and software. In this paper, we analyze the potential security vulnerability of current mobile authentication methods by dividing them into two parts, security vulnerabilities of non-foldable smartphones, and security vulnerability that appears with the changed smartphone structure. According to the analysis result, the classic and current mobile user authentication methods appears to be easily affected by the smartphone display structure. Finally, we propose an appropriate authentication method as well as the concept of security measures for smartphones with foldable screen. Our method shows that it is more secure than the conventional authentication methods in foldable display smartphone.

  • 농업에 ICT 기술을 접목한 스마트팜은 단순한 생육 환경 모니터링에서 벗어나 작물 생육을 위한 최적의 환경을 발견하고 인공지능에 기반한 자율제어가 가능한 농업으로 나아가고 있다. 자율제어가 가능한 농업의 시작은 최적의 작물 생육 환경을 아는 것이다. 이를 위해서는 관련 데이터를 수집하는 것도 중요하지만, 수집된 데이터들의 품질을 검증하고 데이터를 분석하여 작물 생육 환경을 제어하기 위한 유용한 정보를 도출해야 할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 사용자들이 수집한 데이터를 활용하여 작물 생장에 필요한 정보를 얻을 수 있도록 지원하는 애플리케이션의 프로토타이핑 결과를 기술한다. 이 시스템에서 사용자는 웹브라우저를 통해 수집된 데이터들을 입력하고 원하는 분석을 요청하게 되고, 서버는 사용자의 요청과 관련된 R 스크립트를 실행하고 분석 결과를 사용자에게 전달한다.

  • 2017년 가치가 급상승하며 전 세계적으로 큰 이슈를 끈 비트코인은 최근 많은 사람들의 재태크 수단으로 이용되고 있다. 그러나 비트코인은 비슷한 재태크 수단인 주식과 다르게 24시간 내내 거래되고, 기사 하나하나에 의해 가격변동의 폭이 굉장히 크다. 이는 가격이 급변하는 비트코인 시장에서 가격을 예측하는데 어렵게 작용한다. 본 논문에서는 직접적인 가격 예측은 어렵다고 판단해 비트코인 가격변동에 영향을 주는 요소들을 딥러닝 모델을 통해 일일 단위 종가 가격의 등락을 예측해 위의 요소들이 비트코인 가격변동과 상관관계를 가지는지 확인한다.
