경기도 자살사망자의 자살방법에 영향을 미치는 요인 -5개년(2016~2020년) 자살사망자 자료 분석을 바탕으로- (Factors Influencing Suicide Methods in Gyeonggi-do Suicide Deceased: Based on the 5-year (2016~2020) Suicide Death Data Analysis)

  • Objectives: Suicide rate in South Korea is one of the major public health concerns. This study examined the factors influencing the suicide methods of people who committed suicide in Gyeonggi-do, which accounts for one-fourth of the population of South Korea. Methods: This study analyzed the data of a total of 13,945 suicide deaths in Gyeonggi-do over a five-year period (2016-2020) provided by the Statistics Korea and the influence of social and demographic characteristics on the analyzed suicide methods. The differences in suicide methods according to the social and demographic characteristics of suicide victims were compared and analyzed through chi-squared, and items with significant differences in univariate tests were analyzed by multiple logisitic regression analysis. Results: Among suicide deaths, the most common method of suicide was hanging (52.4%). In particular, women, were employed, and stayed at home were higher risk of being hanged. The second most common method of suicide was leaping (17.7%). Women under the age of 30, those with a college degree or higher, those who were not working, time of death (6-12), and those outside the home were more likely to choose to take the leap. The third most common method of suicide was gas poisoning (15.8%). Young people under the age of 65, college graduates or higher, without a spouse, were employed, and spring season were at increased risk of choosing gas poisoning. Conclusions: The results highlight the need for policies that consider risk factors such as gender, age, education, marital status, employments status, time of suicide, and place of suicide in order to block access to suicide methods for suicide victims in Gyeonggi-do.

졸업학년 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력과 자기관리역량 간의 관계 (The Relationship between Communication Competency, Interpersonal Relationship Ability and Self-Management Competency of Nursing College Students in Graduation Year)

  • 본 연구는 졸업학년 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 대인관계능력과 자기관리역량 간의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료 수집은 M지역과 K지역의 4학년 간호학과 학생 135명을 대상으로 2106년 11월 1일부터 12월 9일까지 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 대상자의 의사소통능력 정도는 $3.55{\pm}.34$점(5점 척도), 대인관계능력 정도는 $3.79{\pm}.50$점(5점 척도), 자기관리역량 정도는 $3.67{\pm}.47$점(5점 척도)이었다. 졸업학년 간호대학생의 의사소통능력은 대인관계능력(r=.65, p<.001)과 자기관리역량(r=.70, p<.001)에 유의한 정적 상관관계로 나타났다. 또한 대인관계능력은 자기관리역량과 유의한 정적 상관관계(r=.69, p<.001)를 보였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 졸업학년 간호대학생이 학과생활에서 자기관리역량을 쌓아 졸업 후 취업현장에서 환자나 보호자, 직원과의 관계에서 원활한 의사소통을 통해 효율적인 대인관계를 유지할 수 있도록 도움을 줄 수 있는 중재프로그램을 제안한다.

성인의 건강관련 생활양식과 치아우식증과의 관련성 (Association of Dental Caries with Health Lifestyle in Adults)

  • 본 연구는 성인의 치아우식증에 영향을 미치는 관련요인을 알아보고자 제6기 1차년도(2013년) 국민건강영양조사중 건강설문 검진조사, 영양조사를 완료한 10,113명 중 만 19세 이상의 성인과 영구치우식 유병자 여부 카테코리에 대한 정보가 갖춰진 4,843명을 최종 분석대상자로 복합표본분석을 실시하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 사회 경제적 특성에 따른 치아우식증 유병률은 성별에서 남자가 여자보다 높았으며(p<0.001), 연령별로는 30대, 20대, 40대, 60대 이상, 50대 순으로 나타났다(p<0.05). 교육수준에 따라서는 고졸, 중졸, 대졸 이상 순으로 나타났고(p<0.05), 월 소득수준은 '하'인 경우 가장 높게 나타났다(p<0.001). 건강관련 생활양식에 따른 치아우식증 유병률은 흡연자가 비흡연자보다 높게 나타났으며(p<0.001), 비만의 경우 정상보다 다소 높았으며(p<0.05), 구강검진을 받지 않은 경우가 받는 경우보다 높았다(p<0.001). 일일 칫솔질 횟수가 증가할수록(p<0.05), 치실, 치간칫솔을 사용하는 경우 치아우식증 유병률이 감소하는 것으로 유의하게 나타났다. 치아우식증 여부를 종속변수로 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 치아우식증에 영향을 미치는 변수로는 성별, 연령, 소득수준, 흡연, 구강검진, 치실사용 등으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면 한국 성인의 사회 경제적 요인 및 생활양식은 치아우식증에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 성인의 치아우식증 예방 및 구강건강을 향상시키기 위해서는 건강한 생활습관을 실천할 수 있는 구강건강교육 및 실천 프로그램의 개발이 필요하다고 생각되었다.

농촌주민(農村住民)의 의료비지출(醫療費支出)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Medical Care Expenditure and Its Determinants in Rural Areas)

  • This study was conducted for the purpose of obtaining basic information on the patterns of medical care expenditures, and identifying some determinants of medical care expenditures in the rural Korea. Nine guns were chosen from the eight provinces, excluding Cheju island. One gun in each province and two villages were selected from the each myon or ub within the selected guns. The total number of households was 1,789 and the sample size was 9,826 non-institutionalized people. Followings are the major findings of the study : 1) Medical care expenditures increase proportionally with age in terms of cost per patient, per episode of illness, per treated case, and per person. Averagely, it cost 2,756 won per patient, 2,614 won per spell of illness, 4,361 won per treated case, and 413 won per person. 2) Medical care expenditures increase proportionally with educational level of patients. College graduates spent the most, 4,726 won per patient, 5,987 won per treated case, and 670 won per person. 3) The male spent a little more than the female in terms of per patient, per episode, and per person. For example, a male spent 23 won more than a female. 4) Those who were suffering from illnesses longer than 1 year spent three times more than that had illnesses of less than 1 year duration. 5) The simple correlation coefficient between activity restriction and medical care expenditures was the highest among others, 0.491. The next was 0.294 between duration of illness and medical care expenditures. 6) Attempts are made to identify the explanatory variables in medical care expenditures. Thirty one per cent of the variances in tile expenditures can be accounted for by the selected 15 predictors. Those predictors belonged to clinical renditions, such as activity restriction, duration of illness, and nature of conditions, are proved to be the most potent independent variabes. Level of education and monthly family income are also significant in terms of beta coefficient. Further studies are called for to unreveal the determinants of medical expenditures.

우리나라와 캐나다 약학대학 실무실습 교과과정 비교 (Comparison of Pharmacy Practice Experience in Pharmacy School between Korea and Canada)

  • With the changes in the pharmacy curriculum from a 4 year program to a 6 year program in 2009, a new subject called Pharmacy Practice Experience (PPE) has been launched into the curriculum. The purpose of introducing this subject is to increase the competency of new pharmacy graduates in providing quality healthcare to the community. This study has been done, via comparison among different pharmacy schools in Canada and Korea, to ensure that the competency of future Korean pharmacists can be increased with the introduction of this subject. In general, the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) in Korea consists of 60 hours while Canada consists of 320 hours (minimum). Furthermore, the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) required in Korea is 1340 hours while Canada requires minimum of 960 hours. Specifically, comparing the Korean PPE curriculum to the PPE curriculums of University of Toronto (UT) and University of Waterloo (UW), UT and UW required a minimum of 75% and 89% direct clinical patient care experience respectively, either in hospital or community setting, compared to 45% in Korea; the remaining percentage in any of the universities can be fulfilled by taking other electives that may not require direct patient care experience. Observing these differences, it seems clear that the current PPE experience in Canada takes more of a patient focused approach than in Korea. Thus, with the recent movement in the Korean pharmacy community towards a more patient focused approach rather than a product focused approach, it would be beneficial to learn the differences between the PPE curriculums in Korea and Canada and apply any new understandings to the relatively newly introduced PPE program in Korea to further enhance the value of the new curriculum in helping to deliver quality patient care.

Operation Situation of Academic Credit Bank System for Academic Degree of Cosmetology & Academic Research Trends

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the operation situation & academic research trends in Seoul and Gyeonggi area, based on theoretical consideration on academic credit bank system, focusing on academic credit bank system where a lifelong education institute affiliated with a university produces graduates with associate's degree. To find out about how academic credit bank institutes are operated in cosmetology field, the analysis of literature review was used, in reference to the literatures as well as administrative data from the Ministry of Education and institutes for lifelong education with respect to academic credit bank system. Further, dissertations and articles in journals were also reviewed for analysis, in order to see academic research trends with respect to academic credit bank system in cosmetology, and finally to provide the directions for a follow-up study in the future. It was found that about 120 junior colleges have cosmetology departments, while only about 20 4-year universities have them, where lifelong education systems such as lifelong education are essential for learners to have bachelor's degree to go to a graduate school in reality. Every year more people want to learn and acquire the degree through a lifelong education institute affiliated with a university. In this regard, it is thought that there should be first positive social awareness towards a degree recipient from such educations and more administrative promotion and active engagement of government, businesses and schools, in order to vitalize academic credit bank system. Meanwhile, there are only about 10 academic literatures including the dissertations on the operation of academic credit bank system with respect to cosmetology, which is not sufficient number in academic research, compared to the increasing number of people who want to acquire the degree. Most of the preceding studies have been limited to education services and learners' satisfaction level. Therefore, continuous follow-up study is required on how to improve social awareness as well as teachers and instructors' satisfaction level, as well as how to develop industry-customized curriculum, in order to ensure active academic credit bank system.

물리치료 교육과정 분석에 의한 물리치료 교육 이원화의 문제점 (The Problem of Physical Therapy Educational Duality by Analyzing the Curricuium)

  • The Quality of physical therapy school system has conflicts between physical therpist, and reduces the opportunity of seguential education. So this study was investigated in order to made concrete the problems of educational duality, set up the direction of the school system's improvement, as like the four-year system and recognized the necessity. The curriculums of 13 colleges and 5 universities was analyzed. The curriculum analysis was made up the comparison and the analysis by a liberal arts point, a major point, a clinical practice point, total opening subjects, and so on. The analyzing results were as follows. 1. The average rates of a liberal arts vs. a major opening point are 17:83 in college, and are 27:73 in university. 2. It is a serious problem that college are lower than university in a liberal arts. The best method that can solve it is lengthen the number of school years. 3. There is no difference between college and university in a major subject. Rather college has the more subject's numbers than university. 4. There is no difference between college and university in a clinical practice. Above results suggests that there is not different between college and university in a major subject except for a liberal arts point. It is proper that one should be unificate the curriculum according to the sameness between a state examination and a license. Therefore, it is necessary for graduates from college that provides the opportunity of proceeding to a higher school, demands the seguential system of study cultivating and producing a bachelor, and requires the continual education in a clinical field, a bachelor admitting system of continual education, and clinical therapist's qualification. The present physical therapy educational systems should be unificated because of many right reasons. On the other hand, the follw-up study that improving the school system about the four-years and the more physical therapy should be continue from the viewpoint of education.

교육환경 변화에 따른 전문대학 수업 연한 다양화에 대한 인식조사 - 보건계열학과 중심으로 (A cognitive survey on the Diversification of class year from Junior Colleges by Changing Educational Environment-Focused on Health Sciences Departments)

  • 본 전문대학은 고등교육기관으로 우리나라 산업발전에 필요한 인적자원을 제공함으로서 국가경제 발전의 원동력으로서 큰 역할을 하였으나 최근 학령인구 감소로 인한 전문대학의 어려움이 예상되고 있다. 따라서 급변하는 환경변화 속에서 전문대학이 고등직업교육을 대표하는 기관으로서의 역할과 상호협력과 경쟁을 통한 생존전략이 필요한 시점이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 전국 보건대학의 보건계열 중심으로 현황을 분석하고, 전문대학에 대한 정책변화와 대학에 제시하고 있는 방향성을 조사하여 전문대학 수업연한 및 학위과정 다양화 추진을 위한 구체적인 방안마련의 근거자료로 활용하고자 실시되었다. 본 연구는 현재 전국 보건대학 보건계열학과에 재직 중인 교수와 산업체 종사자 636명을 2017년 5월 1일~5월 30일까지 설문지를 이용하여 조사하였다. 연구결과, 3년제 보건계열학과의 4년제 전환에 대해 찬성한다는 의견이 70.7%였다. 이유로는 충분한 수업연한으로 현장실습 및 인성교육을 강화할 수 있고, 동등한 학력을 가질 수 있기 때문인 것으로 나타났다. 4년제 전환 시 가장 기대되는 효과는 의료기사의 사회적 위상 향상과 대학의 교육환경개선이었으며, 4년제 전환을 위해 대학, 협회, 교육부가 주도적인 역할을 수행해야 한다고 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 다가오는 4차 산업혁명시대에 요구되는 전문보건의료인 양성을 위한 더 체계적이고 고도화된 직업교육체제가 필요한 상황에서 전문대학의 수업연한 조정을 통한 학위과정의 다양화를 자유롭게 열어놓아 일반대학 졸업자들과의 경쟁력을 갖추어 선진 보건의료인 양성에 적극적으로 대비를 해야 할 것으로 사료된다.

일개 대학병원 직원의 인사고과성적 예측요인 (The Predictors of Employees' Personnel Rating at a University Hospital in Korea)

  • This study purports to investigate the determinants of individual personnel rating of the employees at a university hospital in Seoul, Korea. The sample used in this study consisted of 63 nurses, 41 para-medical staff (Clinical Pathologist, and Radiologist), and 67 administrative staff. Independent variables of the study included the achievement level of the selection test (English, major subject, and interview), post-entrance development factors (education and training, career development, supervisory support, co-worker support, and organizational support), and demographic characteristics. Data for the achievement level of the entrance exam and years for the first promotion were collected from the administrative records of the study hospital, while data for the post-entrance development factors were collected from the survey with self-administered questionnaires using 5-point Likert Scale during June 10-25, 2003. Collected data were analyzed using hierarchical multiple regression. The results of the study showed that achievement level of the interview and English exam at the selection test, education and training, organizational support, and supervisory support while working at the hospital, and length of duration (below 8 years) and educational background (4-year college graduates) among demographic variables had significant positive effects on the personnel rating. The results of the study imply that hospital administrators should make an effort to improve the validity of the selection test, and to motivate the employees to receive more education and training.

안전 주행형 무인기의 설계 및 제작을 통한 실천 공학 교육에 관한 연구 (EA Study on Practical Engineering Education through the Design and Configure of Safe Running Type Drones)

  • 종합 설계 교과를 이수하고 성과 결과물로 졸업 조건 만족하기 위한 작품제작이 연결되는 전공중심의 학습활동을 통해 공학교육의 실천 방안을 제시한다. 설계 구성된 주제는 초음파 센서의 장애물 감지 기능을 이용하여 주행 도중 최소 안전거리를 측정하고, 가속도 자이로 센서의 측정값을 기반으로 회피 알고리즘을 수행하는 것으로 한다. 드론과 주변 사물, 사람의 피해를 최소화하며 공중 이동 성능을 향상 시키는 접근 감시 시스템을 제안한다. 실험 결과 5개의 초음파센서를 통해 드론 주변의 장애물을 감지하며, 드론 각각의 모터에 출력값의 차이가 적용되고, 장애물 회피를 확인하였다. 또한 공학교육인증 프로그램의 학습성과 성취도 측정을 위한 자료의 내용과 수준으로 과정에서 얻어진 결과를 사용하였고, 4년제 공과대학 졸업예정자에게 요구되는 공학문제수준설명에 부합함을 확인하였다.
