  • As the core task was selected in the 3rd Comprehensive Library Advancement Plan, 'Reinforcement of programs and services to strengthen future citizens' capacity required in the Fourth Industrial Revolution', the customized curation service of the library using artificial intelligence technology has recently been in the spotlight. The purpose of this study is to find out how the customized curation service affects the relationship between the library and the user. As a result, the library curation service was proved to have a statistically significant effect on user satisfaction and reliability. Satisfaction and reliability were also found to have a positive effect on library revisit, word of mouth intention, increased use, and new service intention. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the development and the operation of customized curation services based on user demand surveys, and could further contribute to enhancing the status of public libraries in Korea by mproving the competitiveness of libraries in the future society.

  • With the rapid development trend in multidisciplinary science and convergence technology, digital data storages have been necessary in order to accumulate a huge amount of information with high security. The possibility that biological DNA code system can offer encoding and decoding information has been illustrated by many researchers. In this review, we summarized current issue of info-convergence nanohybrid system, so-called infohybrid. DNA-inorganic nanohybrid materials and devices to achieve DNA-based molecular information system are presented. The possible applications focusing on tracking-and-traceability management, authenticity verification, and nano-forensics are also reviewed with four steps of encoding, encrypting, decrypting and decoding. We also highlighted the potential of smart code system with Nano-Bio-Info-Cogno (NBIC) convergence technology through the recently published case study of Avatar DNA nanohybrid system with smart phone.

  • The average lifespan of humans is expected to rise to 100 years, not 80 years, as a result of the advances in medical technology, and soon the age of 100 era is expected to open. The fourth industrial revolution, which is the core of the convergence, is emerging as a major issue in the modern society. Therefore, the importance of services along with medical technologies is increasing. Accordingly, medical tourism, a combination of medical technology and tourism, is emerging as a promising industry, and countries around the world classify the medical tourism industry as one of the core strategic industries and nurture it actively. In accordance with this, contents and marketing that can impress a user with a management strategy are developed and provided, but the management system maintains the existing ones, which is a limitation. Therefore, there is a need for an efficient medical tourism management system along with a user-oriented system such as marketing and contents.

  • In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution when ICT and convergence are emphasized, companies want talented people with a wide range of complex problem solving competencies, system competencies as well as major knowledge. This study examined the difference in perceived competency needed for future accounting officers using 166 valid questionaries prepared with 4 factors based on previous researches. The result shows that the workers, who majored in accounting and have more than 5 years of company experience, and the CEOs think the social competence is the most important while the accounting professors think the major competence is the most important qualification. These results indicate that, in order to reflect the industrial needs, the colleges should change their accounting major curriculums to provide various competences such as the social competence in addition to the basic major competence.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the demand for convergence between ICT technologies is increasing in various fields. Accordingly, a new term that combines data, network, and artificial intelligence technology, DNA (Data, Network, AI) is in use. and has recently become a hot topic. DNA has various potential technology to be able to develop intelligent application in the real world. Therefore, this paper introduces the reviewed papers on the service image placement mechanism based on the logical fog network, the mobility support scheme based on machine learning for Industrial wireless sensor network, the prediction of the following BCI performance by means of spectral EEG characteristics, the warning classification method based on artificial neural network using topics of source code and natural language processing model for data visualization interaction with chatbot, related on DNA technology.

  • This study aims to analyze problems and deduce improvement plans for information security support policies for SMEs in Korea. To this end, an effective support policy necessary for reinforcing cyber safety nets to enhance the level of information security of domestic SMEs based on the analysis results by analyzing the status and problems of the previous research review and analysis, the current status of information security of SMEs and the information security support policies of major SMEs at home and abroad. I would like to suggest improvement measures. Reinforcement of awareness, legal basis, voluntary capacity building, joint response system, professional manpower and budget support, cyber security construction, untact era support, and regional strategic industry security internalization were suggested. This can be used as the government's information security support policy to raise the level of information security of SMEs in preparation for the post Covid19.

  • In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, automated technology innovation is emerging, and container terminals are being developed to introduce automation equipment and systems. With the advent of ultra-large vessels, terminals around the world are seeking to build port infrastructure by combining automated technology in order to attract more cargo and to enhance competitiveness to provide prompt service. To introduce automated technology that is emerging as a high-tech industry, this study proposes a structural equation model for the decision to introduce automated container terminal and conducts a questionnaire survey on workers engaged in terminal operators for empirical analysis. This paper presents the role and direction of guidelines for introduction of automated container terminal through decision model.

  • With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution era, IT technology is creating new services that have not existed by converging with various existing industries and fields. In particular, in the field of artificial intelligence, chatbots and the latest technologies have developed dramatically with the development of natural language processing technology, and various business processes are processed through chatbots. This study is a study on a system that provides a close answer to the question the user wants to find by creating a structural form for legal inquiries through Slot Filling-based chatbot technology, and inputting a predetermined type of question. Using the proposal system, it is possible to construct question-and-answer data in a more structured form of legal information, which is unstructured data in text form. In addition, by managing the accumulated Q&A data through a big data storage system such as Apache Hive and recycling the data for learning, the reliability of the response can be expected to continuously improve.

  • Since the era of the 4th industrial revolution has been ripe, the use of artificial intelligence(AI) based on massive data is beginning to be actively applied in various fields. However, as the process of analyzing forest species is carried out manually, many errors are occurring. Therefore, in this paper, about 60,000 pieces of AI learning data were automatically analyzed for pine, larch, conifer, and broadleaf trees of aerial photographs and pseudo images in the metropolitan area, and an AI model was developed to distinguish tree species. Through this, it is expected to increase in work efficiency by using the tree species division image as basic data when producing forest change detection and forest field topics.

  • While artificial intelligence (AI) is attracting attention as a core technology in the era of the 4th industrial revolution, needs for artificial intelligence education to cultivate AI literacy is emerging. In this regard, we developed and applied a project-based AI education program for elementary and middle school students, and analyzed its effects. Participants were assigned into teams with three members, and each team engaged in a project-based AI education program for two nights and three days. In the project, they selected an real-world problem they wanted and devised an AI-enabled artifact to solve it. The effectiveness of the program was investigated with the changes in attitude and efficacy of learners toward artificial intelligence. The results showed that the AI project learning positively changed both attitudes and efficacy toward artificial intelligence at a statistically significant level. This change was more pronounced as the level of perceived programming skills increased, and the level of interest in the project learning increased.
