MSRS 시뮬레이션 환경에서 가상 로봇의 네트웍제어 (Network Control for Virtual Robot in MSRS Simulation Environment)

  • Robot system development consists of several sub-tasks such as layout design, motion planing, and sensor programming etc. In general, on-line programming and debugging for such tasks demands burdensome time and labor costs, which motivates an off-line graphic simulation system. MSRS(Microsoft Robotics Studio) released in recent years is an appropriate tool for the graphic simulation system since it supports CCR(Concurrency and Coordination Runtime), DSS(Decentralized System Services), and dynamics simulation based on PhysX and graphic animation as well. In this paper, we developed an MSRS based network simulation system for quadruped walking robots, which controls virtual 3D graphic robots existing in remote side through internet.

아동후기 비만여아의 상반신 원형 설계 - iVirds 3.0 PB 및 iVirds 3.0 DS 프로그램 적용 - (Development of Upper Bodice Pattern for the Late Elementary Obese- Schoolgirls - Using iVirds 3.0 PB and iVirds 3.0 DS program -)

  • The aim of this study is to develop upper bodice pattern for obese girls aged 10~12 by using 3D virtual garment simulation system. The criteria for subjects in this study were girls who had over 1.46 of the R$\ddot{o}$hrer Index. A total of 229 schoolgirls who met these criteria were enrolled. The results of this study are as follows: First, by using 3D virtual garment simulation, new upper bodice pattern considered obese-schoolgirls was development. The basic numerical formula were as follows ; bust girth B/2+4.5, armhole depth B/4-1, waist girth W/4+0.5+dart amount, front chest width B/6+2, back width B/6+2, neck width B/12-0.5 and neck depth B/12+0.5. Second, armhole darts were added to compensate the loose amount of front armhole and dart manipulation was used to ensure a better appearance on armhole in the design. The dart side line was modified concavely to help cover the protruding stomach. Curved lines on the armhole were significantly relieved using dart manipulation and the darts side line was modified concavely to reduce the tightness around the front waist darts. Third, according to the results of the new upper bodice pattern's appearance evaluation, it estimated more highly than existing pattern in silhouette and ease amount, confirming that new upper bodice pattern was appropriate for the obese-schoolgirls. This study is expected to serve as one of important basic data for ensuing studies that may utilize 3D virtual garment simulation system with 2D patterns.

Fit and Pressure Analysis of Cycling Short Sleeve Tops Using a 3D Virtual Garment System

  • This study aims to analyze short sleeve cycling tops from three brands for a change in garment fit and pressure depending on the static and cycling postures. To this end, it used a 3D virtual garment system to virtualize the garments. Further, a cross-section of the 3D virtual garment data was obtained, and the space length was measured in the design-X program to prove the objectivity of the 3D virtual garment. The results indicated that three brands had a large space length at the front than the back because of the bent posture in cycling. Therefore, appropriate ease was required for the waist and abdomen. Although there were various cutting lines of the bodice panel by brand, the design of the cutting lines should consider the changes in the surface to reflect the bent posture in cycling. The results of this experiment confirmed that the wrinkles present in the 3D virtual garment were reflected in the cross-section and that the space length was small in the high-stress area, as shown in red. Therefore, it was proven the stress of the 3D virtual garment could be used for 3D virtual garment evaluation.

  • 컴퓨터와 더불어 멀티미디어의 발전은 가상현실이라는 신기술을 만들어 내게 하였고 가상현실 분야 중 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 기술은 항공, 자동차, 의학, 스포츠, 교육, 패션 분야에 이르기까지 그 적용이 확대되고 있다 본 연구는 헤어스타일링 분야에서 기존의 2차원 헤어시뮬레이션의 개발 및 상용 현황과, 연구 단계에 있는 3차원 헤어스타일 시뮬레이션의 개발 현황을 살펴본다. 아울러 현재 개발된 3차원 헤어스타일 시뮬레이션이 상용화하기 위해서는 3D 시스템 부스의 조정, 저가 저화질의 카메라 개선 등의 문제점이 있음을 제시하였다. 이를 개선하기 위해서 object photography 방식에서 panoramic photography 방식의 전환, 중 고가의 고화질 카메라로의 대체들을 제안한다.

  • 최근 정보화 기반의 공사관리기법은 기존의 수치적 정보관리에서 VR기반의 시각적 정보관리로 변화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 토목공사의 기획단계, 설계단계, 시공단계에서 VR시스템을 기반으로 사용할 수 있는 기능에 대해 구현절차를 IDEF0모형으로 제시한다. 연구에서 IDEF0모형은 실제 가상건설시스템의 기능으로 토목공사의 각 단계에 적용시켜 실무활용성을 검증하는데 활용하고 있다. 제시된 기능모형에 근거하여 연구에서는 각 단계별로 VR기반 시뮬레이션 기능들을 개발하였다. 개발된 가상건설시스템은 3D객체기반으로 설계정보의 시각적인 효과를 증진시킴으로서 효율적인 설계안의 검토를 가능하게 할 수 있다.

  • Virtual ground modeling is one of key topic for real-time vehicle dynamic simulation. This paper discusses about the virtual 3D road modeling process using parametric surface concept. General road data is a type of lumped position vector so interpolation process is required to compute contact of internal surface. The parametric surface has continuity and linearity within boundaries and functions are very simple to find out contact point. In this paper, the parametric surface formula is adopted to road modeling to calculate road hight. Position indexing method is proposed to reduce memory size and resource possession, and a simple mathematical method for contact patch searching is also proposed. The developed road process program is tested in dynamic driving simulation on off-road. Conclusively, the new virtual road program shows high performance of road hight computation in vast field of off-road simulation.

다관절 조작기의 그래픽 시뮬레이션 (Graphic Simulation of the Multi-joint Manipulator)

  • In this study, the graphic simulation system of multi joint manipulator is developed to analyze and optimize the remote handling processes for the spent fuel assembly. This system consists of a 3-D graphical modeling system, a device assembling system, and a motion simulation system. To analyze and optimize the processes involved in multi-joint manipulator operation such as NFBC transportation process and bottom nozzle removal process, the virtual work place is implemented using a computer graphic technology. This virtual workcell is exactly same as that of the real environment. This graphic simulation system of the multi-joint manipulator can be effectively used for designing the main processes and maintenance processes of the spent fuel management.

A Study on Comparing Evaluation of External Appearance between Real and 3D Simulation of Flared Skirt Focused on Flare Volume and Length

  • This study compared the flared skirts on 3D simulation and in real to show diverse forms in women's clothing depending on the body's gait and motion. By finding the problems, we suggested the possible methods for utilizing the 3D simulation in the clothing industry. First, the 3D simulation of flared skirts showed similar forms of appearance according to the flare length and volume. However, virtually formed drape shape was even in size and spacing, whereas it was not even in real. Second, according to the results of appearance test on the length and flare volume at $90^{\circ}$ and $180^{\circ}$, both real and 3D simulation skirts were evaluated to have outstanding appearances regardless of the skirt length. However, as the flares volume increased, the skirts with longer length were evaluated to have superior appearances compared to the skirts of shorter length. Third, it showed higher resemblance between the real and virtual simulation, when the skirt had less flare and as the skirt length shortened. However, it showed greater difference between the real and virtual simulation when flare volume and length increased. The length and volume of the skirt and the physical properties of the material are predicted to be different between the real and virtual simulation. However, they usually are similar in forms, so it is believed possible to use for predicting the design's silhouette or the feel when it is worn. This method can be applied on internet shopping malls, which can possibly reduce unnecessary time and expenses.

  • 가상생산은 새로운 제품의 개발, 새로운 설비의 개발, 새로운 생산시스템의 개발에 활용할 수 있는 매우 유용한 기술이다. 이 기술을 사용하면 실제 생산활동이 수행되기 이전에 다양한 설계오류를 수정할 수 있다. 본 논문은 가상생산기술을 굴삭기 생산공정에 적용한 사례다. 굴삭기 상부 부품의 하나인 붐과 상판회전체의 최종 용접공정을 연구의 대상으로 선택하였다. CATIA를 이용하여 각 부품의 3D 모델과 치구의 3D 모델을 개발하였으며, IGRIP을 이용하여 용접공정의 3D 시뮬레이션 모델을 개발하였다. 이러한 3D 모델들을 치구의 설계검증과 로봇시스템의 동작경로 검증등에 활용하였다. 결과적으로 수동 용접공정을 로봇을 이용한 자동용접공정으로 전환하였으며, 그 과정에서 설계오류에 의해 발생하는 재 작업시간과 비용을 감축시켰다.

BIM 기반의 가상현실 다면투사 시뮬레이션 시스템 구축 (Development of Virtual Reality Multi Screen Simulation System based on BIM)

  • 3D 기반의 BIM 도면을 활용을 통해 다양한 건설 시뮬레이션이 가능하다. 이러한 BIM을 기반으로 강력한 몰입환경이 수반되는 가상현실 공간에서 실증실험이 가능한 시뮬레이션 시스템 구축사례가 국내에는 전무한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 의사결정 및 가상건설 시뮬레이션이 가능하도록 BIM 도면을 기반으로 3D 기반의 강력한 몰입환경을 제공하는 다면(Multi Screen) 기반의 시뮬레이션 시스템 개발사례를 제시하였다. 구축된 시뮬레이션 실험실은 4K 이상의 해상도를 기반으로 대규모의 3면 디스플레이 공간내에서 다양한 Haptic 장비를 활용해 도면검토, 재난/재해시뮬레이션, 극한건설, 도시계획설계 등이 가능하다. 또한 기존의 BIM 소프트웨어와 완벽한 호환이 가능하여 데이터의 실시간 변환없이 대용량의 도면 등을 검토할 수 있다.
