Laser-Induced Thermal Imaging (LITI) is a laser addressed patterning process and has unique advantages, such as high-resolution patterning with over-all position accuracy of the imaged stripes within 2.5 micrometer and scalability to large-size mother glass. This accuracy is accomplished using real-time error correction and a high -resolution stage control system that includes laser interferometers. Here the new concept of mixed hybrid system which complement the advantages of small molecular and polymeric materials for use as an OLED; our system can realize the easy processing of polymers and high luminance efficiency of recently developed small molecules. LITI process enables to pattern the stripes with excellent thickness uniformity and multi-stacking of various functional layers without using any type of fine metal shadow mask. In this study, we report a full-color hybrid OLED using the multi-layered structure of small molecular/polymeric species.

Objective: We aimed to compare the aortic valve area (AVA) calculated using fast high-resolution three-dimensional (3D) magnetic resonance (MR) image acquisition with that of the conventional two-dimensional (2D) cine MR technique. Materials and Methods: We included 139 consecutive patients (mean age ± standard deviation [SD], 68.5 ± 9.4 years) with aortic valvular stenosis (AS) and 21 asymptomatic controls (52.3 ± 14.2 years). High-resolution T2-prepared 3D steady-state free precession (SSFP) images (2.0 mm slice thickness, 10 contiguous slices) for 3D planimetry (3DP) were acquired with a single breath hold during mid-systole. 2D SSFP cine MR images (6.0 mm slice thickness) for 2D planimetry (2DP) were also obtained at three aortic valve levels. The calculations for the effective AVA based on the MR images were compared with the transthoracic echocardiographic (TTE) measurements using the continuity equation. Results: The mean AVA ± SD derived by 3DP, 2DP, and TTE in the AS group were 0.81 ± 0.26 cm2, 0.82 ± 0.34 cm2, and 0.80 ± 0.26 cm2, respectively (p = 0.366). The intra-observer agreement was higher for 3DP than 2DP in one observer: intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) of 0.95 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.94-0.97) and 0.87 (95% CI, 0.82-0.91), respectively, for observer 1 and 0.97 (95% CI, 0.96-0.98) and 0.98 (95% CI, 0.97-0.99), respectively, for observer 2. Inter-observer agreement was similar between 3DP and 2DP, with the ICC of 0.92 (95% CI, 0.89-0.94) and 0.91 (95% CI, 0.88-0.93), respectively. 3DP-derived AVA showed a slightly higher agreement with AVA measured by TTE than the 2DP-derived AVA, with the ICC of 0.87 (95% CI, 0.82-0.91) vs. 0.85 (95% CI, 0.79-0.89). Conclusion: High-resolution 3D MR image acquisition, with single-breath-hold SSFP sequences, gave AVA measurement with low observer variability that correlated highly with those obtained by TTE.
Information assurance(IA) refers to methodologies to protect engineering information by ensuring its availability, confidentiality, integrity, non-repudiation, authentication, access control, etc. In collaborative design, IA techniques are needed to protect intellectual property, establish security privileges and create "need to know" protections on critical features. Aside from 3D watermarking, research on how to provide IA to distributed collaborative engineering teams is largely non-existent. This paper provides a framework for information assurance within collaborative design, based on a technique we call role-based viewing. Such role-based viewing is achieved through integration of multi-resolution geometry and security models. 3D models are geometrically partitioned, and the partitioning is used to create multi-resolution mesh hierarchies. Extracting an appropriately simplified model suitable for access rights for individual designers within a collaborative design environment is driven by an elaborate access control mechanism.
A stereospecific HPLC method has been developed for the resolution of the enantiomers of salbutamol in human urine. After solid-phase extraction and derivatization with 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-$\beta$-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate, the diastereomeric derivatives were resolved (Rs=1.83) on $5{\mu}m$ octadecylsilan column using 35% acetonitrile in 0.05M ammonium acetate buffer (pH=6) as a mobile phase with electrochemical detection. The diastereomeric derivatives were formed within 30 min. The detection limit of each enantiomer was 20 ng/ml (S/N=3).
The increasing need and use of 3D GIS particularly in urban areas has produced growing attention on building reconstruction. Nowadays, the use of close-range data for building reconstruction has been intensively emphasized since they can provide higher resolution and more complete coverage than airborne sensory data. We developed a fusion approach for building reconstruction from both points and images. The proposed approach was then applied to reconstructing a building model from real data sets acquired from a large existing building. Based on the experimental results, we assured that the proposed approach cam achieve high resolution and accuracy in building reconstruction. The proposed approach can effectively contribute in developing an operational system producing large urban models for 3D GIS.
Stereo-lithography using the two photon absorption(TPA) makes micro structures with great resolution. The technique is applied to correcting photomask, 3-D photonic crystal, 3-D optical storage, 3-D lithography and so on. In contrast to a conventional stereo-lithography with single-photon absorption which has a size problem caused by the geometrical diffraction limit, the stereo-lithography with TPA has no size limit. A three-dimensional image capturing device and its signal processing algorithm and apparatus are presented. Three dimensional information is one of emerging differentiators that provides consumers with more realistic and immersive experiences in user interface, game, 3D-virtual reality, and 3D display. It has the depth information of a scene together with conventional color image so that full-information of real life that human eyes experience can be captured, recorded and reproduced. 20 Mega-Hertz-switching high speed image shutter device for 3D image capturing and its application to system prototype are presented[1,2]. For 3D image capturing, the system utilizes Time-of-Flight (TOF) principle by means of 20MHz high-speed micro-optical image modulator, so called 'optical resonator'. The high speed image modulation is obtained using the electro-optic operation of the multi-layer stacked structure having diffractive mirrors and optical resonance cavity which maximizes the magnitude of optical modulation[3,4]. The optical resonator is specially designed and fabricated realizing low resistance-capacitance cell structures having small RC-time constant. The optical shutter is positioned in front of a standard high resolution CMOS image sensor and modulates the IR image reflected from the object to capture a depth image (Figure 1). Suggested novel optical resonator enables capturing of a full HD depth image with depth accuracy of mm-scale, which is the largest depth image resolution among the-state-of-the-arts, which have been limited up to VGA. The 3D camera prototype realizes color/depth concurrent sensing optical architecture to capture 14Mp color and full HD depth images, simultaneously (Figure 2,3). The resulting high definition color/depth image and its capturing device have crucial impact on 3D business eco-system in IT industry especially as 3D image sensing means in the fields of 3D camera, gesture recognition, user interface, and 3D display. This paper presents MEMS-based optical resonator design, fabrication, 3D camera system prototype and signal processing algorithms.
The purpose of paper is to implement a PC-based software for 3D visualization of brain fiber tractography and high-resolution anatomical data 서론: DTI (Diffusion tensor imaging) is a very useful noninvasive MRI technique for providing the direction and connectivity information of brain fiber tracts. Especially in patients with glioma, fiber tracts on the lesion side in the brain had varying degrees of displacement or disruption as a result of the tumor. Tract disruption resulted from direct tumor involvement, compression on the tract, and vasogenic edema surrounding the tumor. To combine information on fiber tracts surrounding turner with a high-resolution anatomical 3D image may be clinically useful for surgical planning. Therefore we implemented a software for visualizing both brain fiber tractography and anatomical data.
