  • This paper deals with the estimation performance DoA (Direction of Arrival) using the 3D adaptive array antenna in W-CDMA signal. For this, we proposed the 5 types of 3D array antenna, and appied for the MUSIC in order to the estimation of DoA algorithm for that antenna, commonly, then the DoA estimation error was used for the estimation performance. In the mobile communication and radio positioning service, performing the spatial filtering after the DoA estimation in array antenna, the quality of receiving signal can improve by the nulling or minimization of interfering signal which is from the undesired direction and the forming of beam which is from the desired direction. The result of DoA estimation and the DoA estimation error by varying the signal to noise ration and the number of interfering signal and power of each type antenna was calculated by computer simulation. As a result of simulation, the other propose antenna has good performance excluding the stack 3D antenna in DoA estimation and the Curved-B type antenna has more superior performance when increasing the number of interfering signal and power in the DoA estimation error.

  • We investigate the characteristics of a wideband and high-gain cavity-backed slot antenna in terms of the reflection coefficients, radiation patterns, and gain. A cavity-backed slot antenna structure includes baffles, reflectors, and thick ground planes. The measured gain and bandwidth of a 10-dB return loss in a cavity-backed $2{\times}2$ array slot antenna with $h_1=2 $mm, d=2 mm are 15.5 dBi and nearly 27%, respectively, at 42 GHz. Baffles and reflectors are used to increase antenna gain, thus reducing the coupling among the slots on the thick ground plane.

  • In this paper, It is proposed through the empirical design of a Conducted EMI filter for noise reduction of power used in electronic devices. For the proposed structure, A-type, B-type, C-type, and D-type structures were designed, and conductive noise reduction was confirmed by using an LC network with various X-capacitors, Y-capacitors, and Air-inductors. 10 [μH] was used for L1 and L2, and 4.7 [nF] was used for C1 and C2. L3 for common mode used 13[μH], and C5, C6, C7 were designed using 10[nF]. The measured insertion loss values of the designed EMI filter were -74.4[dB] at 3.2MHz, -75.4[dB] at 4MHz, and -75.3[dB] at 13.56MHz. Therefore, the proposed EMI filter will be able to reduce power supply noise used in various electronic devices.

  • A C-band 50 W high-power microwave monolithic integrated circuit amplifier for use in a phased-array radar system was designed and fabricated using commercial $0.25{\mu}m$ AlGaN/GaN technology. This two-stage amplifier can achieve a saturated output power of 50 W with higher than 35% power-added efficiency and 22 dB small-signal gain over a frequency range of 5.5 GHz to 6.2 GHz. With a compact $14.82mm^2$ chip area, an output power density of $3.2W/mm^2$ is demonstrated.

  • Tracking of an object in 3D space performed in real-time is a significant task in different domains from autonomous robots to smart vehicles. In traditional methods, specific data acquisition equipments such as radars, lasers etc, are used. Contemporary computer technology development accelerates image processing, and it results in three-dimensional stereo vision to be used for localizing and object tracking in space. This paper describes a system for tracking three dimensional motion of an object using color information in real time. We create stereo images using pair of a simple web camera, raw data of an object positions are collected under realistic noisy conditions. The system has been tested using OpenCV and Matlab and the results of the experiments are presented here.

  • Recently, digital crime is becoming more intelligent, and efficient digital forensic techniques are required to collect evidence for this. In the case of important files related to crime, a specific person may intentionally delete the file. In such a situation, data recovery is a very important procedure that can prove criminal charges. Although there are various methods to recover deleted files, we focuses on the recovery technique using HxD editor. When recovering a deleted file using the HxD editor, check the file structure and access the file data area through calculation. However, there is a possibility that errors such as arithmetic errors may occur when a file approach through calculation is used. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an algorithm that automatically calculates the header and footer of a file after checking the file signature in the root directory for efficient file recovery. If the algorithm proposed in this paper is used, it is expected that the error rate of arithmetic errors in the file recovery process can be reduced.

  • Two wavelength reconfigurable optical nodes are designed. One for 20km or shorter link length, and the other for up to 60km link length. While the first one requires no dispersion compensation, the latter needs dispersion compensation fiber included in the node, which requires additional optical amplifier to compensate the insertion loss of DCF. We calculate all the optical path losses in both cases using the typical value of optical components in the market to see the feasibility of the designed optical node. The minimum received power in the node is calculated to be -21.5dBm without DCF and -12.5dBm with DCF, respectively. These received powers are above the receiver sensitivity both for OC-48 and OC-192 according to the previous work.

  • Today, 3D softwares have become an essential tool in all areas of Video, including Movies, Animations, CFs, Motion Graphics and Games. One of the most commonly used fields is the 3D character video part. However, these 3D character animations and motion graphics softwares are difficult to learn and too much to learn, making it difficult to learn them all in a university education with a limited time of four years. In this paper, many Inverse kinematics tools, which are essential in the 3D character animations and motion graphics field, compare and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of each tool, focusing on Bone, Character Studio, and Character Animation Toolkit, which are most commonly used in work fields. And use Delphi techniques for 3D experts to secure objectivity. Therefore, for universities that require large amounts of teaching in a limited time, I propose an analysis of which of the above three Inverse Kinetics tools is advantageous for students to select and focus on for efficient education.
