  • Tracking is one of the most important pre-required task for many application such as human-computer interaction through gesture and face recognition, motion analysis, visual servoing, augment reality, industrial assembly and robot obstacle avoidance. Recently, 3D information of object is required in realtime for many aforementioned applications. 3D tracking is difficult problem to solve because during the image formation process of the camera, explicit 3D information about objects in the scene is lost. Recently, many vision system use stereo camera especially for 3D tracking. The 3D feature based tracking(3DFBT) which is on of the 3D tracking system using stereo vision have many advantage compare to other tracking methods. If we assumed the correspondence problem which is one of the subproblem of 3DFBT is solved, the accuracy of tracking depends on the accuracy of camera calibration. However, The existing calibration method based on accurate camera model so that modelling error and weakness to lens distortion are embedded. Therefore, this thesis proposes 3D feature based tracking method using SVM which is used to solve reconstruction problem.

BM3D and Deep Image Prior based Denoising for the Defense against Adversarial Attacks on Malware Detection Networks

  • Recently, Machine Learning-based visualization approaches have been proposed to combat the problem of malware detection. Unfortunately, these techniques are exposed to Adversarial examples. Adversarial examples are noises which can deceive the deep learning based malware detection network such that the malware becomes unrecognizable. To address the shortcomings of these approaches, we present Block-matching and 3D filtering (BM3D) algorithm and deep image prior based denoising technique to defend against adversarial examples on visualization-based malware detection systems. The BM3D based denoising method eliminates most of the adversarial noise. After that the deep image prior based denoising removes the remaining subtle noise. Experimental results on the MS BIG malware dataset and benign samples show that the proposed denoising based defense recovers the performance of the adversarial attacked CNN model for malware detection to some extent.

  • The process of three-dimensional (3D) printing (also known as "rapid prototyping" and "additive manufacturing") uses computer-created digital models to produce 3D objects with a desired shape by stacking materials through a layer-by-layer process. The industrial potential and feasibility of 3D printing technology were recently highlighted in President Obama's State of the Union address in 2013. Since his speech, worldwide investment in and attention toward 3D printing technology have increased explosively. In addition, a number of 3D printing technology-based start-up companies have been established and evaluated as emerging enterprises making successful business models. In this paper, successful start-up companies (domestic and overseas) based on 3D printing technology will be reviewed.

BIM 기반 3차원 모델 라이브러리를 통한 모듈러 교각의 정보모델링 (Information Modeling of Modular Bridge Pier using BIM Based 3D-Model Library)

  • Modular technology has become a major issue of the construction industries to enhance their productivity. Modular bridge construction generally requires the collaboration between the contractor, designer, fabricator and constructor. Therefore, a readily accessible information model based on BIM technology should be provided for their communication during a construction project life-cycle. In this study, BIM based 3D information modeling was carried out for the modular bridge pier. First, the product breakdown structure (PBS) and level of detail (LOD) of the pier were defined. Based on them, 3D models were created by using parametric modeling method. In addition, database was constructed for the exchange of geometry and property data of 3D models. Finally, application areas of 3D information model were suggested, including the quantity estimation and the 4D simulation.

UAS와 지상 LiDAR 조합에 의한 수직 구조물의 3차원 공간정보 구축 (Construction of 3D Spatial Information of Vertical Structure by Combining UAS and Terrestrial LiDAR)

  • 최근 스마트 시티에 의한 공간정보 제작의 일환으로 역설계를 위한 구조물의 3차원 재현이 주목받고 있다. 특히, 구조물 3차원 재현에 지상 LiDAR가 주로 사용되며 UAS에 의한 3차원 재현 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 다만, 두 기술 모두 촬영각에 의한 사각지대가 발생한다. 본 연구는 수직구조물을 대상으로 UAS를 활용한 SfM기반 영상해석 기술을 통해 구현된 3D 모델과 지상 LiDAR 기반의 레이저 스캐닝에 의한 3D 모델간의 재현성 및 효용성을 검토하고 사각지대 보완을 위해 2가지 3D 모델을 조합 검토한다. 이를 위해 인공암벽을 대상으로 UAS 기반 영상을 취득하고 GNSS 장비와 토탈 스테이션을 통해 수직면 기준점(VCP) 및 점검점을 설정, SfM 기반 영상해석 기술을 활용하여 구조물의 3D 모델을 재현한다. 또한, 지상 LiDAR 스캐닝을 통해 구조물의 3D 측점 군을 취득하고 점검점을 기준으로 재현의 정확도와 3D 모델의 완성도를 UAS 기반 영상해석결과와 비교·검토하였다. 특히, UAS 및 지상 LiDAR로부터 구축한 측점 군의 조합을 통해 정확도와 실감 재현도를 확인하였다. 연구결과, 정확도 및 3D 모델 완성도에서 UAS 기반 영상해석이 우수하였고, 두 방법의 측점 군 조합으로 정확도가 향상됨을 확인하였다. UAS 및 지상 LiDAR 레이저 스캐닝 조합방법으로 수직구조물 대상 정밀 3차원 모델의 사각지대 보완·재현이 가능하므로 공간정보 구축, 안전진단 및 유지보수 관리에 효율적인 사용이 기대된다.

레이저 비전 기술을 이용한 물체의 3D 모델 재구성 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Three-Dimensional Model Reconstruction Based on Laser-Vision Technology)

  • In this study, we proposed a three-dimensional (3D) scanning system based on laser-vision technique and rotary mechanism for automatic 3D model reconstruction. The proposed scanning system consists of a laser projector, a camera, and a turntable. For laser-camera calibration a new and simple method was proposed. 3D point cloud data of the surface of scanned object was fully collected by integrating extracted laser profiles, which were extracted from laser stripe images, corresponding to rotary angles of the rotary mechanism. The obscured laser profile problem was also solved by adding an addition camera at another viewpoint. From collected 3D point cloud data, the 3D model of the scanned object was reconstructed based on facet-representation. The reconstructed 3D models showed effectiveness and the applicability of the proposed 3D scanning system to 3D model-based applications.

3D Printing Watermarking Method Based on Radius Curvature of 3D Triangle

  • Due to the fact that 3D printing is applied to many areas of life, 3D printing models are often used illegally without any permission from the original providers. This paper presents a novel watermarking algorithm for the copyright protection and ownership identification for 3D printing based on the radius curvature of 3D triangle. 3D triangles are extracted and classified into groups based on radius curvature by the clustering algorithm, and then the mean radius curvature of each group will be computed for watermark embedding. The watermark data is embedded to the groups of 3D triangle by changing the mean radius curvature of each group. In each group, we select a 3D triangle which has the nearest radius curvature with the changed mean radius curvature. Finally, we change the vertices of the selected facet according to the changed radius curvature has been embedded watermark. In experiments, the distance error between the original 3D printing model and the watermarked 3D printing model is approximate zero, and the Bit Error Rate is also very low. From experimental results, we verify that the proposed algorithm is invisible and robustness with geometric attacks rotation, scaling and translation.

새로운 하이브리드 스테레오 정합기법에 의한 3차원 선소추출 (3D Line Segment Detection using a New Hybrid Stereo Matching Technique)

  • We present a new hybrid stereo matching technique in terms of the co-operation of area-based stereo and feature-based stereo. The core of our technique is that feature matching is carried out by the reference of the disparity evaluated by area-based stereo. Since the reference of the disparity can significantly reduce the number of feature matching combinations, feature matching error can be drastically minimized. One requirement of the disparity to be referenced is that it should be reliable to be used in feature matching. To measure the reliability of the disparity, in this paper, we employ the self-consistency of the disunity Our suggested technique is applied to the detection of 3D line segments by 2D line matching using our hybrid stereo matching, which can be efficiently utilized in the generation of the rooftop model from urban imagery. We carry out the experiments on our hybrid stereo matching scheme. We generate synthetic images by photo-realistic simulation on Avenches data set of Ascona aerial images. Experimental results indicate that the extracted 3D line segments have an average error of 0.5m and verify our proposed scheme. In order to apply our method to the generation of 3D model in urban imagery, we carry out Preliminary experiments for rooftop generation. Since occlusions are occurred around the outlines of buildings, we experimentally suggested multi-image hybrid stereo system, based on the fusion of 3D line segments. In terms of the simple domain-specific 3D grouping scheme, we notice that an accurate 3D rooftop model can be generated. In this context, we expect that an extended 3D grouping scheme using our hybrid technique can be efficiently applied to the construction of 3D models with more general types of building rooftops.

3D 모델링 기반 빌딩관제시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of Building Control System based 3D Modeling)

  • Buildings are becoming more and more high-rise and large-scale in recent years, so in the event of a disaster such as a fire, enormous human and economic damage is expected. Therefore, management, security, and fire control are essential for large buildings in the city. Because these large buildings are very complex outside and inside, they need a three-dimensional control based on 3D modeling rather than a simple flat-oriented control. To do this, this paper designed and implemented a building control system based on 3D modeling. Specifically, we designed a 3D building / facility editing module for 3D modeling of buildings, a 3D based control module for building control, and a linkage module that connects information such as firefighting equipment, electrical equipment and IoT equipment. Based on this design, a building control system based on 3D modeling was implemented.

  • 본 논문은 3D 프린팅을 위한 3D 개인 피규어 생성 및 콘텐츠 인지 기반 피규어 변형, 조합 시스템을 제안한다. 3D 객체의 3D 프린팅을 위해서는 적층가공 기법의 슬라이싱시에 무결성이 보장되어야 하며, 프린터 종류에 따라 객체의 내부를 비우는 등의 제약 조건이 따른다. 본 논문은 3D로 복원된 자신의 얼굴을 적용한 개인 피규어를 자동 생성하는 기술과 생성된 3D 개인 피규어의 고유 기능을 유지하고 성공적인 3D 프린팅을 보장하는 콘텐츠 인지 기반 외형 변형, 두께 조정, 조합 기술을 소개한다. 기존 전문가들이나 숙련된 디자이너만 쓸 수 있었던 3D 저작도구에 비해 간단한 조작으로 다양한 외형 변형, 두께 조정, 모델 조합 등이 가능하다.
