3D Printed Electronics Research Trend (3차원 인쇄기술을 이용한 전자소자 연구 동향)

  • 3D printing, which designs product in three dimensions, draws attention as a technology that will lead the future for it dramatically shortens time for production without assembly, no matter how complex the structure is. The paper studies the latest researches of 3D-printed electronics and introduces papers studied electronics components, power supply, circuit interconnection and 3D-printed PCBs' applications. 3D-printed electronics showed possibility to simplify facilities and personalize electric devices by providing one-stop printing process of electronic components, soldering, stacking, and even encapsulation.

  • In this paper we implemented 3D contents based work process simulation for 3D view contents. For this the method of 3D view technique is explained. The automobiles and PC assembly processes according to the virtual scenario showed the technique which assists workers through 3D view. Also for 3D information visualization, max script of contents modeling functions using 3D MAX was developed. The functions are designed to customize coordinate, material edit on modeling, rendering, and 3D object files with max script.

An Empirical Study Approach to Investigating Impact of 3D Stereoscopic Film's Customer Satisfaction (3D입체영화의 만족에 관한 탐색적 연구)

  • This study is an empirical study approach to investigating impact of 3D stereoscopic film's customer satisfaction. Using conventional methods, there were identified 3D stereo films's factors that character, story, dialogue, music, and 3D technical factors. And There were trying to analyze the impactive gaps of 3D stereoscopic film's customer satisfaction between high participation and low participation of customers about 3D film's. The results of this study can be summarized broadly as follows. First, the story and 3D technical factors was high-impact of customer's satisfaction at watching the 3D films. Second, 3D technical factors were highly correlated with customer satisfaction at the low participation group. And 3D technical factors and story were highly correlated with customer satisfaction at the high participation group. The conclusion is expected to provide useful suggestions about the selection of variables at the future 3D film study.

하이브리드 3D프린팅기술-입체전자회로 제작기술

  • 1980년대 처음 세상에 등장한 3D프린팅기술은 시제품을 빠르고 경제적으로 생산하려는 초기의 목적에서 나아가 현재에는 직접 제품생산에 적용하려는 시도들이 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 이를 극복하기 위해서는 몇 가지 해결해야 할 문제들 또한 존재하는 것이 현실이다. 전자제품의 회로 제작에 3D프린팅기술을 적용하기 위한 기술들이 개발되고 있으며, 이는 기존의 플라스틱 재료를 이용하는 3D프린팅기술과 전도성 재료를 토출하여 도선을 성형하는 기술이 융합된 하이브리드 3D프린팅기술로 발전되고 있다. 입체전자기술로 알려지고 있는 이 기술은 단일 공정으로 다양한 소재를 사용하여 구동이 가능한 회로소자를 제작할 수 있기 때문에 주문형 회로소자, 웨어러블 디바이스 및 플렉서블 디바이스 등의 개발에 매우 유용하게 적용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다. 향후에는 복잡한 회로소자 제작기술로 발전할 것이며 따라서, 현재의 반도체 제작공정을 대체할 수 있는 기술로 발전이 가능할 것이다.

  • As the paradigm of manufacturing and production is also changing in line with the fourth industrial revolution, the social demands and directions for Industry 4.0 cannot be reversed, and the scalability and universality of 3D printing technology are attracting attention. 3D printer is a technology developed for the purpose of reducing product development costs, and with the recent expiration of 3D printer technology patent, related technology has been revealed and various technologies applied are being researched and developed, and various singularities have been discovered and supplemented. Thus, to compensate for the inconvenience of the current output method, which requires direct offline adjustment of the machine in the use of 3D printers and 3D printing through direct input of modeling data, the design of the IoT system is proposed to perform real-time online output requests for multiple 3D printers, monitoring functions that can expect normal outputs, and online real-time remote management functions for multiple 3D printers.

  • 3D printing, also known as Additive Manufacturing (AM), is being positioned as a new business model of revolutionizing paradigms of existing industries. Launched in early 2000, 3D printing technology for architecture has also advanced rapidly in association with machinery and electronics technologies mostly in the United States and Europe. However, 3D printing systems for architecture require different mechanical characteristics from those of cement/concrete raw materials used in existing construction methods. Accordingly, in order to increase utilization of raw materials produced in the cement and resource recycling industry, it is necessary to develop materials processing and utilization technology, to secure new property evaluation and testing methods, and to secure database related to environmental stability for a long period which aims to reflect characteristics of an architectural 3D printing technology.

  • 3D printing technology is instrument that can create real objects in three-dimensional space, as printed on paper, if the three-dimensional designs are made. 3D printing technology has been recently used in various field of medicine, and also biomedical application of three dimensional printing technology remains one of the most important research topics until now. 3D printing technology is causing a revolutionary change in the overall automotive manufacturing, aerospace, marine, medical and so on. The medical industry applications of current 3D printer are a virtual simulation, custom medical implants manufactured, practice of medical personnel. In this study, we analyzed 3D printing technology and application cases for medical services.

  • Multi-view and 3D video technologies for a next generation video service are widely studied. These technologies can make users feel realistic experience as supporting various views. Because acquisition and transmission of a large number of views require a high cost, main challenges for multi-view and 3D video include view synthesis, video coding, and depth coding. Recently, JCT-3V (joint collaborative team on 3D video coding extension development) has being developed a new standard for multi-view and 3D video. In this paper, major tools adopted in this standard are introduced and evaluated in terms of coding efficiency and complexity. This performance analysis would be helpful for the development of a fast 3D video encoder as well as a new 3D video coding algorithm.

  • This research reviewed the status of binder removal depending on the heating temperature and duration by using the 3D sand mold as an electric heating method. In the case of the electric heating method, it was confirmed that a heating temperature of at least 800℃ or higher was required to remove the binder of the 3D sand mold, and the heating duration was confirmed to be about 10 minutes. Afterwards, it is considered necessary to further evaluate the additional binder removal method and the utilization of recycling silica in consideration of economic feasibility and productivity.
