광산개발 타당성 평가 및 생산에 있어서 3차원 모델링 적용 사례 (Application of 3-Dimensional Modeling in Mine Feasibility Study and Production)

  • 3-dimensional modeling methods have been used in the every step of resource development; Exploration, reserve estimation, mine feasibility study, mine design and mine production. This report shows seven cases for which 3-dimensional modeling is used in resource development. Six projects deal with resource esimation, mine feasibility study and production. And another deals with mine rehabilitation. These cases show that 3-dimensional modeling method is beneficial to understand the real state of ore deposit and complex underground structures. Moreover, 3-dimensional modeling is the most efficient method for mine planning and management in the every step of resource development.

An Expert System of Moulding Working for Air Intake Hose Products using 3-Dimensional Parametric Modeling Technique

  • This paper deals with an application on the mould machining of air intake hose product by using 3-dimensional parametric modeling techniques. The detailed domain is the 3-dimensional product with similar shapes and different sizes which needs too much working time for preparation of modeling or machining due to making a trial and errors repeatedly. Decision making rules for selection of modeling order and technique, and for calculation of cutting conditions, and for determination of sequence and method concerning machining operations are required by interview of expert engineers in the field. The developed expert system of modeling and machining is programmed by using a user programming language under the CAD/CAM software of the Personal Designer. The developed system that aids a mould engineer who is working in the modeling and machining section which deal with air intake hose product provides strong and useful capabilities.

  • In this study, to clearly establish the concept of a geometric modeling I apply for the concept of Pushbroom, limited to two-dimensional radiation Locator to provide a three-dimensional information purposes. Respect to the radiation scanner Pushbroom modeling techniques, geometric modeling method was presented introduced to extract three-dimensional information as long as the rotational component of the Gamma-Ray Linear Pushbroom Stereo System, introduced the two-dimensional and three-dimensional spatial information in the matching relation that can be induced. In addition, the pseudo-inverse matrix by using the conventional least-squares method, GCP(Ground Control Point) to demonstrate compliance by calculating the key parameters. Projection transformation matrix is calculated for obtaining three-dimensional information from two-dimensional information can be used as the primary relationship, and through the application of a radiation image matching technology will make it possible to extract three-dimensional information from two-dimensional X-ray imaging.

  • By now, we have been analysing the resistance values on 3 dimensional structure using experimental statical method or theoretical modeling, while devices miniaturizing reveals the limitation of the traditional methods to calculate 3 dimensional resistance. In addition, 2 dimensional analysing can not produce 3 dimensional characteristic following miniaturizing. To solve the limitations , we must do high level modeling of semi-conductor process. In this thesis, we analyzed the Laplace equation that is the basic and important for 3 dimensional structure resistance with computer simulation method and on the basis of this, analyzed the characteristic of resistance of 3 dimensional structure communication semiconductor device.

  • Modeling techniques of piled pier were reviewed and the influences of pile cap's boundary conditions were analyzed in this study. Among various modeling techniques, equivalent cantilever method seems relatively simple for modeling pile groups and it has some problems to determine the virtual fixed points. Through the analyses, it was found that the method of nonlinear p-y model with soil springs was more appropriate than equivalent cantilever method. The method modeling a pile group using stiffness matrix seems useful for practical design, which can represent the nonlinear three-dimensional behavior of a piled pier. In this study, the stiffness matrix of a pile group could be estimated efficiently and precisely using three-dimensional nonlinear analysis programs of pile groups (FBPier 3.0, YSGroup).

물리탐사 자료에 대한 3차원 지반 모델링 적용 사례 연구 (The Case Study on Application of 3 Dimensional Modeling Method with Geophysical Data)

  • 최근 자원개발 분야에서는 다양한 자료를 3차원 공간 데이터베이스로 구성하여 매장량, 품위 분포 등 경제성 평가에서부터 광산설계, 채굴계획 수립 및 가행단계의 공정관리 등 광산개발의 전주기에 대한 3차원 모델링 기법에 널리 활용하고 있다. 자원개발 분야와 토목분야에서 물리탐사는 현지 여건, 기술적, 경제적 제한 때문에 대부분 2차원 단면에 대한 탐사를 주로 하고 있다. 현장에서 획득된 탐사 자료는 2차원 가정을 전제로 한 2차원 역산을 통해 지하 매질의 물성 분포를 계산하는데 이용된다. 그러나 실제로 획득된 자료는 3차원 공간에서의 지하 매질의 반응이므로, 2차원 역산의 결과는 3차원 지형 정보와 지질구조, 시추조사 결과 등과 같은 부가적인 정보를 고려하여 종합적으로 해석함으로써 2차원 가정에 의한 오류를 최소화하고 실제 지하 매질의 특성을 파악할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 토목 및 자원개발 분야에서 수행된 물리탐사 자료에 대하여 3차원 지반 모델링 기법을 적용한 사례 연구를 통해 3차원 지반 모델링 기법의 활용성과 다양한 적용 가능성을 검토하였다.

Development of a Rigid- Ended beam Element and a Simplified 3-Dimensional Analysis Method for Ship Structures

  • In this paper, a 2-dimensional novel beam element is developed and a method to replace the 3-dimensional analysis with 2-dimensional analysis is proposed. The developed novel beam element named rigid-ended beam element can consider the effect of three kinds of span points within one element, which was impossible in modeling with the ordinary beam element. Calculated results for the portal frame using the rigid-ended beam element agree with the results using membrane element. And also, the proposed simplified 3- dimensional analysis method which includes two step analysis using influence coefficients shows good accuracy. Structural analysis using the rigid-ended beam element and the simplified 3-dimensional method is revealed to have good computing efficiency due to unnecessity of the elements corresponding to the brackets and simplification of 3-dimensional analysis.

  • Geo-radar survey which has the advantage of high-resolution and relatively fast survey has been widely used for engineering and environmental problems. Three-dimensional effects have to be considered in the interpretation of geo-radar for high-resolution. However, there exists a trouble on the analysis of the three dimensional effects. To solve this problem an efficient three dimension numerical modeling algorithm is needed. Numerical radar modeling in three dimensional case requires large memory and long calculating time. In this paper, a finite difference method time domain solution to Maxwell's equations for simulating electromagnetic wave propagation in three dimensional media was developed to make economic algorithm which requires smaller memory and shorter calculating time. And in using boundary condition Liao absorption boundary. The numerical result of cross-hole radar survey for tunnel is compared with real data. The two results are well matched. To prove application to three dimensional analysis, the results with variation of tunnel's incident angle to survey cross-section and the result when the tunnel is parallel to the cross-section were examined. This algorithm is useful in various geo-radar survey and can give basic data to develop dat processing and inversion program.

  • 반만년 숭고한 문화유산을 지니고 있는 민족으로서 우수한 문화유산을 영구 보존하고 후손에 잘 전승하여야 하며, 세계에 널리 알려야 할 필요가 있다. 이러한 필요성을 인식하고 컴퓨터 기술의 발단에 따라 최근 국내외에서 문화재 및 역사적 가치를 지닌 구조물에 대한 3차원 데이터베이스 구축, 문화재 복원 및 사이버 공간에서 전시 기술 등에 관한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 문화재의 3차원 도형자료를 3차원 좌표취득이 용이한 사진측량기법으로 취득하고, VRML을 이용하여 문화재의 다양한 색상이나 질감 등 정성적 특성을 표현할 수 있는 3차원 모델링 기법을 제시하고자 한다.

  • Some limits are in two-dimensional analysis by finite element method to electromagnetic machine having finite dimension. Therefore three-dimensional analysis by finite element method, which are modeling original form of models are needed in order to gain accurate solutions. This paper present three-dimensional time varing magnetic field analysis method using electric field E and magnetic scarlar potential $\Omega$, and examine sample model.
