  • The three-dimensional precision measurement technology for industry product of middle and/or large scale has been developed. Theodolite measurement system which is one of the technology is widely used in aerospace industry. This paper describes measurement method and results for spacecraft structure test model by using the measurement system. And structural stability for STM is desribed through the comparison between design values and measured values.

통신방송위성 안테나 얼라인먼트 측정

  • 최근 중ㆍ대형 산업품에 대한 비접촉식 3차원 정밀 측정 장비가 개발되고 있다. 이러한 장비 중 하나인 데오드라이트 측정 시스템이 항공우주산업에 널리 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 데오드라이트 시스템을 이용하여 근역장에서의 RF 프로브에 대한 위성체 탑재 안테나의 레인지 얼라인먼트 측정 방법을 기술하였다. Ku-band 및 Ka-band 안테나의 레인지 얼라인먼트 측정 및 조정을 측정 정확도 ±1 mm 및 ±$0.05^{circ}$도 이내에서 성공적으로 수행하였다.

  • This paper presented a linear motion accuracy by using two-dimensional probe with the master block and the square for NC machine tools. This measuring system could be measured motion error due to numerical control system. The results of measurement and simulation for motion error were similar, and so, this system had enough accuracy to measure a linear motion accuracy for NC machine tools. The experimental results are as follows. 1. This measuring system could be measured motion error due to mumerical control system. 2. The results of measurement and simulation for motion error were similar. 3. This measuring system had enough accuracy to measure a linear motion accuracy for NC machine tools.

컴퓨터 비젼을 이용한 원기둥형 물체의 3차원 측정 (3-Dimensional Measurement of the Cylindrical Object Using Computer Vision)

  • This paper presents a method to measure the position and orientation of a Cylindrical Object(unknown the eiameter and length) lying on a floor, using a camera. The two extreme cross section of the cylinder will be viewed as distorted ellipese or circular are, while its limb edge will be shown as two straight lines. The diameter of the cylinder is determined from the geometric properties of the two straight lines, which in turn provides information regarding the length of the cylinder. From the 3-dimensional measurement, the 3D coordinates of the center points of the two extreme cross sections are determined to give the position and orientation of the cylinder. This method is used for automated pick-and-place operations of cylinder, such as sheet coils, or drums in warehouses.

  • 최근 중 대형 산업품에 대한 비접촉식 3차원 정밀 측정 장비가 개발되고 있다. 이러한 장비 중 하나인 데오드라이트 측정 시스템이 항공우주산업에 널리 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 데오드라이트 시스템을 이용하여 근역장에서의 RF 프로브에 대한 위성체 탑재 안테나의 레인지 얼라인먼트 측정 방법을 기술하였다. Ku-band 및 Ka-band 안테나의 레인지 얼라인먼트 측정 및 조정을 측정 정밀도 ${\pm}1mm$${\pm}0.05^{\circ}$ 이내에서 성공적으로 수행하였다.

시각측정시스템의 캘리브레이션 및 측정성능 검토 (Calibration and INvestigation into Measurement Performance of a Visual Sensing System)

  • It is necessary to calibrate measurement systems to enhance its measurement accuracy. The visual sensing system that is presented in our previous work has to be calibrated, too. It is a multiple mirror system for three-dimensional measurement, which is composed of a camera and a series of mirrors. It is important to calibrate the positions and orientations of the mirrors relative to the camera because they have direct influence on the relationship between the image plane and the task space. This paper presents the calibration method for the visual sensing system. To confirm the measurement performance of the implemented system. its measurement accuracy in measuring the locations in three-dimensional space is investigated. A series of experiments for measuring the locations of the circle-shaped marks are performed. Experimental results show that the sensing system can be effectively used for three-dimensional measurement.

  • This paper presents a method to measure tile position and orientation of a prismatic polyhedral object (of unknown width, length, height, and number of vertices) using machine vision. The width, length, and origin of workplace where an object is lying are defined as Preliminary operation. The edges of an object are detected from captured image using least sum of square error. The information of an object is determined from the geometric relationships between edges. As an user interface, a versatile image processing program is developed in several modules, and renders a very useful 3D measurement at a limited constraints when adopted in automation of production process. The flexibility of camera position from the algorithm developrf can be used for automated pick and place operations and feeding workpiece u: ;ing assembly robot.

  • The machining Parts must be Produced within the specification of drawing and those will be able to meet faction and efficiency. At that time, it is very important not only precision machine and machining technique but also the measurement technique. So, the improvement of measurement technique is to be joined together at once with improvement of machining technique. Finally, the quality and value of the parts are decided by precision measurement. This paper aims to study on the measurement uncertainty when the machined parts are inspected with 3-dimensional coordinate measuring machine. The objectives remove an error of measurement and remove a quality of mass products.
