Characteristic Study on Effect of the Vent Mixer to Supersonic Fuel-Air Mixing with Stereoscopic-PIV Method (3차원 PIV 기법을 사용한 벤트혼합기가 초음속 연료-공기 혼합에 미치는 특성 연구)

  • Vent mixer can provide main flow directly into a recirculation region downstream of the mixer to enhance fuel-air mixing efficiency. Based on experimental results of three-dimensional velocity, vorticity and turbulent kinetic energy obtained by a stereoscopic PIV method, the performance of the vent mixer was compared with that of the step mixer which was used as a basic model. Thick shear layers of the vent mixer induced the increase of the penetration height. The turbulent kinetic energy mainly distributed along a boundary layer between the main flow and the jet plume. This turbulent field activates mass transfer in a mixing region, leading to the mixing enhancement.

  • This paper presented a linear motion accuracy by using two-dimensional probe with the master block and the square for NC machine tools. This measuring system could be measured motion error due to numerical control system. The results of measurement and simulation for motion error were similar, and so, this system had enough accuracy to measure a linear motion accuracy for NC machine tools. The experimental results are as follows. 1. This measuring system could be measured motion error due to mumerical control system. 2. The results of measurement and simulation for motion error were similar. 3. This measuring system had enough accuracy to measure a linear motion accuracy for NC machine tools.

3D motion aftereffect in a static region after adaptation to an adjacent counterphase flickering region (역 위상 깜박임 영역 순응에 의해 유도된 인접 영역의 3차원 운동잔여 효과)

  • Murakami and Cavanagh (1998a,b, 1999) reported a jitter aftereffect in a static random noise after a period of adaptation to a patch of dynamic random noise. To a account for this phenomenon. they proposed the retinal slip caused by a small eye movements in the unadapted area, which is usually compensated by the visual system to stabilize images but is unsuppressed due to the adaptation. We tested this hypothesis with new experimental method and stimuli that were supposed to nullify or reduce the effect. However. the aftereffect was still observed even under these stimuls conditions More importantly, the perceived aftereffect was rather different from Murakami and Cavanagh's. After adaptation to a counterphase flickering cosine grating, the adjacent unadapted region seems to move away from the observer during the test period instead of jittering in the frontoparallel plane. We proposed a possible explanation for this new phenomenon noting the severe contrast reduction of the adapted region during flickering period. The aftereffect might be due to the flicker-inducing contrast reduction during adaptation that produces different depth planes for the adapted and unadapted region and its restoration during the test period.

제트 베인에 의한 추력 방향 제어 장치 3차원 유동해석

  • 제트 베인에 의한 추력 방향 제어 장치는 롤 운동 제어를 가능하게 하고, 큰 선회 각도를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있으나, 기계 장치가 비교적 복잡하고, 제트 베인의 열적, 구조적 문제를 해결하여야 한다. 복잡한 기계 장치는 유동 해석의 측면에서 고려해 볼 때 격자 형성을 어렵게 만들어 유동장 해석을 통한 성능예측을 어렵게 만든다. 구조물의 응력해석을 위하여 제트 베인 표면에서의 정압력과 더불어 마찰력도 고려하여야 하는데, 정확한 마찰력 계산을 위해서는 난류 모델링이 필수적이고, 그에 따라 벽면 근처에서 격자를 밀접시키는 것이 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 상용 유동해석 소프트웨어인 Fluent를 사용하여 제트 베인이 장착된 추력 방향 제어 장치의 3차원 난류 유동장 계산을 수행하였다. 피치, 요 운동의 경우와 롤 운동의 경우로 구분하여 계산하였으며, 최대 받음각을 $25^{\cire}$ 로 하여 제트 베인의 받음각에 따라 회전축에 작용하는 힘과 모멘트를 계산하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 개발될 제트 베인이 장착된 추력 방향 제어 장치의 개념설계 단계에 필요한 기본자료로서 신뢰도를 높이는데 도움이 되리라 판단된다.

  • This research is about the studies of ocean wave and realization of ocean wave surface utilizing the Matlab as development tool. In this paper, the related background theory about ocean wave and sea-surface wave had been discussed. In addition, the three-dimensional and two-dimensional sea wave and sea-surface also been realized and simulated by using Matlab.

  • 본 논문은 작업공간상에서 로봇 운동과 힘의 통합제어를 구현할 수 있는 플랫폼의 구현에 초점을 두고 있다. 조립 또는 디버링 같은 접촉작업에서의 매니플레이터 효율성 제고나 친 인간 환경에서의 휴머노이드 로봇의 안정성을 위해서는 종래의 PID 제어나 관절공간상에서의 CTM(Computed Torque Method) 제어보다는 작업공간상에서의 운동과 힘의 통합제어를 실시해야 한다. 이것을 위해서는 작업공간상에서의 엔드이펙트(end-effector, E-E)에 대한 동역학식과 자코비안(jacobian)을 도출해야 하며 이를 위해서는 각종 동적파라미터의 정확한 동정이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 3D CAD 모델링, MATLAB, 동역학 시뮬레이터를 활용하여 로봇 모델링, 동역학식과 동적 파라미터 추출, 운동과 힘의 실시간 통합제어 시뮬레이션등을 쉽고 일관되게 진행할 수 있는 플랫폼을 구현하였고 적용예로써 JS-10로봇을 택해서 그 효용성을 입증하였다.

A Study of China's Reading Campaign (중국의 독서운동에 대한 연구)

  • China's reading campaign has started as part of youth education since 1993 and also has been conducted as government-level 'national reading activities' since 2006. This study was conducted to investigate and analyzed China's reading campaign as part of overseas case study of reading campaign, based on literature studies and internet survey method as well as meta study. As regard reading status, Chinese people's reasons to read or not to read books plus reading rate and reading amount were reviewed and the background, operation style and major activities of 'national reading activities' were investigated. The characteristics and problems of China's reading campaign were reviewed and 1) national level reading campaign, 2) intensive reading campaign through common subject and 3) youth reading education for self-education and character development were put forth for the betterment of reading campaign in Korea.

  • A quantitative non-contact multi-point measurement system is proposed to the measurement of three-dimensional movement of floating vessels by using digital image processing. The instantaneous three-dimensional movement of a floating structure which is floating in a small water tank is measured by this system and its three-dimensional movement is reconstructed by the measurement results. The validity of this system is verified by position identification for spatially distributed known positional values of basic landmarks set for the camera calibration. It is expected that this system is applicable to the non-contact measurement for an unsteady physical phenomenon especially for the measurement of three-dimensional movement of floating vessels in the laboratory model test.

  • 축 이송운동의 오차를 측정할 수 있는 광전소자 측정시스템이 구현되었으며, 결론은 다음과 같다. 1) 광전소자와 레이저광원을 이용하여 축이송시에 발생하는 5개의 운동오차를 동시에 검출하는 측정방법이 개발되었으며, 이때의 정밀도는 마이크로미터오더이다. 2)광전소자에 대한 2차원 칼리브레이션이 수행되었으며, 비선형성을 고려할 때 더욱 정밀한 측 정값을 얻을 수 있었다. 3) 레이저간섭기 등에 의해서 측정이 어려운 롤(roll)오차의 측정방법이 구현되었으며, 이때 빔 분리기의 오차를 칼리브레이션할 때, 정밀한 측정값이 얻어질 수 있었다. 4)광전소자측정시스템을 마이크로 컴퓨터와 연계함으로써, 종래의 측정방법보다 매우 빠르며, 정밀한 측정시스템이 구현되었다.

Distorted perception of 3D slant caused by disjunctive-eye-movements (반향 눈 운동에 의한 3차원 경사의 왜곡된 지각)

  • Despite dynamical retinal image changes caused by pursuit eye movements, we usually perceive the stable spatial properties of the environment suite successfully Helmholtz and his followers have suggested that the visual system coordinates the retinal and extraretinal eye position information to represent the spatial properties of the environment. However. there have been a significant amount of researches showing that this kind of mechanism may not operate perfectly, and the pursuit eye movement employed in those researches were limited to conjugate eye movements. When an observer tracks an object moving away from the observer with his/her eyes. the two eyes rotate in opposite direction. and this kind of disjunctive eye movement may produce undesirable binocular disparities for the objects in the background. The present study examined whether the visual system compensated for the undesirable binocular disparities caused by disjunctive eye movements with extraretinal eye position information. Although the target object was presented frontoparellely to the subjects. the subjects reported that the object was slanted toward (or alway from) them in consistent with the undesirable binocular disparities produced by the disjunctive eye movements. These results imply that the visual system may not perfectly compensate for the undesirable binocular disparities with extraretinal eye position information.
