Ti와 W이 첨가된 SBT 세라믹스의 강유전 특성 (Ferroelectric Properties of Ti-Doped and W-Doped SBT Ceramics)

  • 순수한 SrB $i_2$T $a_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스와 도너와 억셉터가 치환된 S $r_{0.99}$B $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $W_{0.01}$)$_2$$O_{9}$ 와 SrB $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $Ti_{0.01}$)$_2$ $O_{8.99}$ 세라믹스를 제조하고 미세구조, 강유전 P-E 이력특성, 상전이 온도를 조사하였다. 입자크기는 SrB $i_2$T $a_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스의 강유전 이력곡선에는 영향을 주지 않았다. 도너를 치환한 S $r_{0.99}$B $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $W_{0.01}$)$_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스는 순수한 SrB $i_2$T $a_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스보다 잔류 분극이 크고 더욱 포화된 강유전 P-E 이력곡선을 보였으며, 억셉터가 치환된 SrB $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $Ti_{0.01}$)$_2$ $O_{8.99}$ 세라믹스는 잔류분극이 크게 감소하여 가운데가 잘록한 모양을 보였다. 도너가 치환된 S $r_{0.99}$B $i_2$(T $a_{0.99}$ $W_{0.01}$)$_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스의 강유전 분극이 순수한 SrB $i_2$T $a_2$$O_{9}$ 세라믹스보다 더 큰 것은 Sr 공공의 생성에 의하여 분역벽 이동이 용이해졌기 때문이다.동이 용이해졌기 때문이다.동이 용이해졌기 때문이다.동이 용이해졌기 때문이다.

  • Given vectors x and y in a separable complex Hilbert space $\cal{H}$, an interpolating operator is a bounded operator A such that Ax = y. We show the following : Let Alg$\cal{L}$ be a tridiagonal algebra on a separable complex Hilbert space H and let x = ($x_i$) and y = ($y_i$) be vectors in H.   • A new PVC membrane electrode for $UO_2^{2+}$ ion based on 2,2'-[1,2-ethanediyl bis (nitriloethylidene)]bis(1-naphthalene) as a suitable ionophore was prepared. The electrode exhibites a Nernstian response for $UO_2^{2+}$ ion over a wide concentration range ($1.0{\times}10^{-1}-1.0{\times}10^{-7}$M) with a slope of 28.5 ${\pm}$ 0.8 mV/decade. The limit of detection is $7.0{\times}10^{-8}$M. The electrode has a response time of < 20 s and a useful working pH range of 3-4. The proposed membrane sensor shows good discriminating abilities towards $UO_2^{2+}$ ion with regard to several alkali, alkaline earth transition and heavy metal ions. It was successfully used to the recovery of uranyl ion from, tap water and, as an indicator electrode, in potentiometric titration of $UO_2^{2+}$ ion with Piroxycam.

Dimer간의 가장 가까운 거리 3.288A[O(2)˙˙˙O(2)(-x,-y,-z)]은 분자들의 packing이 van der Waals 력으로 이루어졌음을 보인다.

The Inactivation of ERK1/2, p38 and NF-kB Is Involved in the Down-Regulation of Osteoclastogenesis and Function by A2B Adenosine Receptor Stimulation

  • A2B adenosine receptor (A2BAR) is known to be the regulator of bone homeostasis, but its regulatory mechanisms in osteoclast formation are less well-defined. Here, we demonstrate the effect of A2BAR stimulation on osteoclast differentiation and activity by RANKL. A2BAR was expressed in bone marrow-derived monocyte/macrophage (BMM) and RANKL increased A2BAR expression during osteoclastogenesis. A2BAR stimulation with its specific agonist BAY 60-6583 was sufficient to inhibit the activation of ERK1/2, p38 MAP kinases and $NF-{\kappa}B$ by RANKL as well as it abrogated cell-cell fusion in the late stage of osteoclast differentiation. Stimulation of A2BAR suppressed the expression of osteoclast marker genes, such as c-Fos, TRAP, Cathepsin-K and NFATc1, induced by RANKL, and transcriptional activity of NFATc1 was also inhibited by stimulation of A2BAR. A2BAR stimulation caused a notable reduction in the expression of Atp6v0d2 and DC-STAMP related to cell-cell fusion of osteoclasts. Especially, a decrease in bone resorption activity through suppression of actin ring formation by A2BAR stimulation was observed. Taken together, these results suggest that A2BAR stimulation inhibits the activation of ERK1/2, p38 and $NF-{\kappa}B$ by RANKL, which suppresses the induction of osteoclast marker genes, thus contributing to the decrease in osteoclast cell-cell fusion and bone resorption activity.

C2 Segmental-Type Vertebral Artery Diagnosed Using Computed Tomographic Angiography

  • Objective : Sometimes a vertebral artery (VA) enters the spinal canal via the C1-2 intervertebral space, a variation regarded as a C2 segmental-type VA. This paper describes the anatomy of the C2 segmental-type VA and reviews its clinical importance. Methods : Between March 2014 and November 2015, 3386 patients underwent computed tomographic angiography. I identified C2 segmental-type VAs, associated vascular variation, the origin of ipsilateral posterior inferior cerebellar arteries (PICAs), and the clinical symptoms associated with C2 segmental-type VAs. The origin of an ipsilateral PICA is divided into 5 types. A type 1 PICA originates from ipsilateral VAs coursing suboccipitally (IVASO), a type 2 originates from ipsilateral proximal C2 segmental-type VAs, a type 3 originates from ipsilateral distal C2 segmental-type VAs. For type 4, the PICA does not originate from an ipsilateral VA. For type 5, the PICA is the terminal end of an ipsilateral C2 segmental-type VA. Results : One hundred thirteen patients had 121 C2 segmental-type VAs; 47 were associated with an IVASO, and 74 were not. Four type 1, 13 type 2, 60 type 3, 42 type 4, and two type 5 PICAs were identified. Only one patient showed symptoms associated with a C2 segmental-type VA, being a 71-year-old man presenting with a C2 segmental-type VA infarction. Conclusion : For C2 segmental-type VAs, the ipsilateral IVASO and origin of the PICA are important for predicting the outcome of this type of VA infarction.

Cis-Trans Isomerization of Dimeric $[Me_2Al(μ-NH^tBu)]_2$

  • The trans (2a)-cis (2b) isomerization of [Me2Al(μ-NHtBu)]2 (2) has been studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The equilibrium has been observed to follow reversible first order kinetics with ΔH0=2.22±0.07 kJmol-1 and ΔS0=2.85±0.07 JK-1mol-1. The activation parameters for the conversion 2a→2b are ΔH1=49.7±2.3 kJmol-1 and ΔS1=-126.3±0.2 JK-1mo1-1 and for the reverse reaction 2b→2a are ΔH-1=47.5±2.3 kJmol-1 and ΔS-1=-129.1±0.5 JK-1mol-1. The isomerization is markedly accelerated in the presence of Lewis bases. A crossover experiment indicates that the isomer interconversion is a unimolecular process. The large negative entropies of activation suggest either the existence of a sterically congested intermediate or the participation of solvent in the isomerization process.

Synthesis and Characterization of Oligonucleotides Containing Site-Specific Bulky $N^2$-Aralkylated Guanines and $N^6$-Aralkylated Adenines

  • 7- Bromomethylbenz[a]anthracene is a known mutagen and carcinogen. The two major DNA adducts produced by this carcinogen, i.e., $N^2$-(benz[a]anthracen-7-yl methyl)-2'-deoxyguanosine (2, b[a]$a^2$G) and $N^6$-(benz[a]anthracen-7-ylmethyl)-2'-deoxyadenosine (4, b[a]$a^6$/A), as wel 1 as the simpler benzylated analogs,$N^2$-benzyl-2'deoxyguanosine (1, $bn^2$G) and $N^6$-benzyl-2'-deoxyadenosine (3, $bn^6$/A), were prepared by direct aralkylation of 2'-deoxyguanosine and 2'-deoxyadenosine. To determine the site-specific mutagenicity of these bulky exocyclic amino-substituted adducts, the suitably protected nucleosides were incorporated into 16-base oligodeoxyribonucleotides in place of a normal guanine or adenine residues which respectively are part of the ATG initiation codon for the lac Z' \alpha-complementation gene by using an in situ activation approach and automated phosphite triester synthetic methods. The base composition and the incorporation of the bulky adducts into synthetic oligonucleotides were characterized after purification of the modified oligonucleotides by enzymatic digestion and HPLC analysis.

Expression of Cytochrome P450 1A1, 1A2, 2C8, 2E1 and 3A4 in Human Brain

  • We have carried out PCR reactions to investigate if cytochrome P450 (P450) enzymes (1A1, 1A2, 2C8, 2E1 and 3A4), which are well hewn to be the key enzymes in detoxification process and/or synthesis of steroids in the liver, are expressed in the human brain, too. P450 1A1, 2C8 and 2E1 were expressed clearly. However, P450 1A2 and 3A4 were not detectable. Their expression levels in the human brain could be extremely low or they were not expressed at all. One base substitution at nucleotide 290 (A->G) was identified in P450 1A1. It is suspected to be an individual polymorphism. Our results should contribute to the better understanding of the role of cytochrome P450 enzymes in the human brain.

Molecular Mechanisms of Regulation of Human Cytochrome P4501A2 Gene Expression

  • Cytochrome P4501A2 (CYP1A2) is responsible for the metabolic activation of a number of aromatic amines and amides to mutagenic and carcinogenic moieties. Considerable variations in the level of CYP1A2 expression in humans have been reported. Thus, the level of human CYP1A2 may determine an individuals susceptibility to these chemicals. Given its importance, the molecular mechanisms of CYP1A2 regulation have been studied by many groups. Direct interactions between transcription factors with the promoters of the gene represent one of the primary means by which the expression of CYP1A2 is controlled. In this review, several important cis elements, transcription factors and the effects of deacetylation/methylation of promoter regions that play an important role in the induction by PAHs as well as constitutive expression of human CYP1A2 are discussed.
