BIM을 활용한 LCA기반 환경부하평가에 관한 연구 - NATM 터널 사례 중심으로 - (A Study on the Evaluation of Environmental Load Based on LCA Using BIM - Focused on the Case of NATM Tunnel -)

  • 건설공사시 발생하는 환경부하 관리를 위해서는 시공시 실제 투입되는 물량을 면밀히 파악할 필요가 있다. 현재 건설공사에서는 2D도면을 활용한 설계의 경우에는 실제 설계 도서간 물량산출 값의 오차, 설계항목의 누락이 발생하고 있으며 건설 공사의 경우 불확실한 요소들로 인하여 시공 중에도 빈번히 설계변경 및 오류가 발생하고 있다. 또한 2D 설계를 바탕으로 하는 LCA평가의 경우 도면, 내역서 등을 이용하여 작업자가 수기로 작업공종에 투입되는 자재를 산출해야하는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 2D 설계를 바탕으로한 물량산출과 BIM기반의 물량산출을 바탕으로 LCA 분석을 비교하여 시공과정에서 활용 할 수 있는 신뢰도 높은 환경부하평가 방법을 검증하고자 한다. 또한 설계도서를 활용한 내역기반의 2D설계의 물량산출 및 LCA 평가 방법을 제시하고, 3D 기반의 평가 프로세스를 비교 분석하여 BIM 설계기법 도입에 따른 LCA 평가 활용 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

드론 및 레이저스캐너를 활용한 근대 건축물 문화재 빌딩정보 모델 역설계 구축에 관한 연구 (Using Drone and Laser Scanners for As-built Building Information Model Creation of a Cultural Heritage Building)

  • The use of drones and laser scanners have the potential to drastically reduce the time and costs of conventional techniques employed for field survey of cultural heritage buildings. Moreover, point cloud data can be utilized to create an as-built Building Information Model (BIM), providing a repository for consistent operations information. However, BIM creation is not a requisite for heritage buildings, and their technological possibilities and barriers have not been documented. This research explored the processes required to convert a heritage university building to a BIM model, using existing off-the-shelf software applications. Point cloud data was gathered from drones for the exterior, while a laser scanner was employed for the interior of the building. The point clouds were preprocessed and used as references for the geometry of the building elements, including walls, slabs, windows, doors, and staircases. The BIM model was subsequently created for the individual elements using existing and custom libraries. The model was used to extract 2D CAD drawings that met the requirements of Korea's heritage preservation specifications. The experiment showed that technical improvements were needed to overcome issues of occlusion, modeling errors due to modeler's subjective judgements and point cloud data cleaning and filtering techniques.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate (1) the effect of a masculine-feminine image in women's blouse·skirt on the perception of the wearer's occupational characteristics and suitability of the clothing for certain occupations, and (2) the effect of perceiver's sex, sex-role attitudes, and occupation on the perception formed by the function of clothing cues. The research design of the study consisted of 2(skirt color) × 2(blose color) × 3(masculine-feminine blouse forms) factorial desing of a blouse·skirt set. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimuli and 2 response scales. The stimuli consisted of 12 drawings of woman's clothing made by systematic manipulations of 2 independent variabels (color and form) in drawings of blouse-skirt. The dependent variables were the perceptions of the wearer's occupational characteristics and suitability of the masculine or feminine clothing for certain occupations. Occupational characteristics were measured with a 7-point semantic differential scale composed of 21 bipolar adjectives. Perception of occupational suitability was assessed with 12 items of 5-point Likert type questions. In addition, the Bem Sex-role Inventory was used to assess perceiver's sex-role attitudes. The subjects consisted of 393 men and 389 women, whose occupations were classified as professionals, secondary school teachers, and white-collar workers. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, MANOVA, ANOVA, Mean and S.D. Three factors emerged to account for the perception of occupational characteristics. These factors were given the titles of (1) activity, (2) potency, and (3) evaluation factors. The activity factor was the largest, including 9 adjectives and accounting for 33.3% of the variance in blouse-skirt. On the blouse-skirt set, the form of the blouse had an effect on activity and evaluation for both sexes, while the color of the skirt had an effect on evaluation for both sexes as well as on potency for men. Strong effect of color and form on blouse·skirt were seen in perception of occupational suitability for the occupations of attorney(masculine) and secretary(feminine). On suitability for secondary school teaching occupations, the effects of color and form of blouse·skirt differed by sex of the subjects. Male subjects determined suitability by the color of the blouse, while female subjects determinied suitability on the basis of the form of the blouse. Perceiver's sex-role attitude and occupation partially influenced the perception of the wearer's occupational characteristics and suitability of the clothing for certain occupations.

비보정 (un-calibrated) 영상으로부터 중간영상 생성을 위한 뷰 몰핑 (View Morphing for Generation of In-between Scenes from Un-calibrated Images)

  • 영상들 간의 2차원 변환을 표현하는 영상 몰핑(morphing)기술은 대상 물체의 위치나 카메라 시점 변화를 반영하지 않기 때문에 부자연스러운 왜곡현상이 발생한다. 또한 기존의 뷰(view) 몰핑 방법은 사후 워핑(postwarping)을 위한 제어점이 필요하고 영상 내 가려짐 등에 대한 제약이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 비보정(un-calibrated)된 카메라로부터 취득된 두 영상을 이용하여 임의 중간(in-between) 시점에서의 영상을 자동으로 생성하는 새로운 몰핑 알고리즘이 제안된다. 제안된 방법은 두 영상의 기본행렬(fundamental matrix)을 구하여 영상을 교정(rectification)한 다음, 양방향 시차맵(disparity map)을 이용해 선형 보간(linear interpolation)한다. 그리고 대상 영상과 교정된 영상간의 변환행렬(homography)을 역투영(inverse projection)하여 중간영상들을 생성하였다. 제안된 방법은 카메라의 복잡한 보정(calibration)과정과 대상 장면에 대한 3차원 정보가 필요 없기 때문에 사진이나 그림 등에 효과적으로 적용될 수 있다. 다양한 영상에 대한 실험결과로부터 제안된 방법의 성능을 확인하였으며, 생성된 중간영상은 가상 시스템의 시뮬레이션 환경 및 영상통신 등의 분야에 활용될 수 있다.

  • 레저선박의 대형화와 고부가가치화로 인해 설계 요구조건은 점차 까다로워지고 있으며, 제작공정 또한 기존보다 복잡해지고 있다. 해외의 레저선박 제작업체들은 PLM 개념 기반 3차원 모델 설계시스템 구축을 통하여 이러한 환경을 극복하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 반면 국내의 경우 아직까지 2차원 도면 중심의 전통적인 레저선박 개발 프로세스에 머물고 있으며, 일부 3차원 모델 기반 설계시스템을 갖추기 위한 노력이 있었으나 이는 매우 초기단계에 속한다. 본 연구에서는 DMU 기술을 레저선박 설계 프로세스에 적용하기 위한 초기연구를 수행하였다. DMU 모델 중심으로 레저선박 설계를 수행함으로써 DMU 모델 기반 설계 프로세스를 정립하였고, 40 ft급 알루미늄 레저보트 설계사례를 통해 그 효용성을 입증하였다.

의복 스타일 이미지 선호와 자기이미지와의 관계 연구 (A Study on Image Preferences of Clothing Styles and Self-Image)

  • The objectives of this study were to find out the relationships between clothing style pre-ferences and self-image and to examine the differences in clothing style preferences ac-cording to marital status educational level and social stratification of women. The drawings of clothing style were designed referring to the catalogues for spring/summer of 1996 and printed by computer 6 styles of suit corresponding to clothing image were selected. Style A is a brown suit decorated with scarf style B a grey suit with stripes C a yellow suit with printed pattern D a grey and beige suit E a chanel suit decorated with corsage and F a blue suit with pleated skirt. The self-image was separated to the actual self-image and the ideal self-image. Samples were 226 women(ages 18 to 37) in Seoul Korea. The results of the study were the followings. 1. Clothing images of 6 styles were estimated; Style A was plain conservative formal and gentle image ; B masculine solid actual dark and plain image; C feminine romantic bright and splendid image; D actual ordinary un-fashionable and plain image; E feminine ten-der romantic and non-active image ; F indi-vidual fshionable open casual sprightly and active image. 2. There were significant relationships be-tween clothing style preferences and realistic self-image. The women who considered them-selves as masculine preferred style B mascu-line and plain image. The women feminine and conservative preferred style E feminine and tender image. The women not to follow the fshion preferred style D ordinary and plain image. The women informal and open pre-ferred the style F casual and active image. 3. There were significant relationships be-tween clothing style preferences and ideal self-image. The women who wanted to be-tween clothing style preferences and ideal self-image. The women who wanted to be con-sidered themselves as feminine and conserva-tive preferred style E feminine and tender im-age. The women who wanted gentle and con-servative preferred style D ordinary and plain image. The women who wanted sprightly pre-ferred the style F casual and active image. 4. There were significant differences in clothing style preferences according to marital status educational level and social stratifi-cation. The women with more eduacation pre-ferred the splendid and the plain image at the same time. The upper class preferred feminine image and lower class casual and active image.

On suitability for secondary school teaching occupation, the effects of color and form of suit differed by sex of the subjects. Perceiver's sex-role attitudes and occupation paritally influenced the perception of the wearer's occupational characteristics and suitability of the clothing for certain occupations. In summary, a masculine-feminine image of clothing had a significant effect on the perception of occupational characteristics as well as on suitability of the clothing for certain occupations. Thus, the results of the study support the implicit personality theory on person perception and also the stereotypes of sex-roles on the perception of occupational suitability.

Algorithm-Aided BIM 기반 원전 3차원 설계기준 관리시스템 개발 (Development of AAB (Algorithm-Aided BIM) Based 3D Design Bases Management System in Nuclear Power Plant)

  • 국내 신형원전 APR1400 (Advanced Power Reactor 1400MW)은 총 사업비 8조 6천억원, 사업기간 10년 이상이 소요되는 대형 국가기반시설이며, 60년 이상 운영되어 국가경제 및 국민의 안전에 밀접한 영향을 끼친다. 또한 총 사업부지 217만$m^2$내 20개 이상의건물 및 구조물로 구성되어 있으며, 건설에 필요한 전체도면은 약 6만5천장에 이른다. 이러한 대형시설의 설계를 위해서는 설계의도를 명확히 규정하여 일관성 있게 설계가 진행될 수 있는 일종의 가이드라인 역할을 하는 설계기준이 필수적이다. 이를 위해 설계기준(Design Bases)을 반영한 설계기준문서(Design Bases Document 또는 Drawing, DBD)를 작성하여, 설계 일관성 및 도면간의 일치성을 유지하고 있다. 하지만 설계기준은 원전 전체 설계에 큰 틀이 되는 중요한 개념임에도 불구하고 각 분야 전문가들에 의해 문서기반(2차원) 및 파편적으로 관리되다보니 후속설계에 정확히 반영되는데 한계가 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 시설정보 활용성을 높이기 위해 3차원 정보모델인 BIM (Building Information Model)과 Algorithm-aided BIM을 활용하여, 원전의 최소단위 공간인 실(Room)을 기반으로 한 3차원 설계기준 관리하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 설계기준정보층(DBIL)개념을 도입하였으며, 시뮬레이션을 통해 각 DBIL별 설계기준 속성 및 설계요소 데이터가 연동됨을 확인하였으며, DBIL에 연계되는 벽, 바닥, 문, 관통부 등을 정상적으로 추출하였다.

BIM 기반 인허가신청 지원 시스템 개발 (Development of BIM-based Building Approval Submission System)

  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) provides many advantages when it is adopted in virtual design construction, to analyze constructability, etc. For this reason, advanced countries have made it mandatory to adopt BIM in public construction projects. The Korea Public Procurement Service announced that from 2016, BIM adoption will be mandatory in every construction project in Korea. Currently, however, it is not possible to fully adopt BIM in the building design process domestically because BIM-based systems have not been used broadly in Korea's building approval system (Seumter). In this research, four challenges were drawn from a focus group interview. Focusing on tackling one challenge, this paper reviewed previous research into building approval systems and the building approval systems of Singapore, the U.K. and the U.S., and identified elements of the building approval application process and presents a system to create and manage the information. The system supports the creation and management of information and 2D drawings from an IFC-based BIM model. We expect that the system will encourage designers to use BIM from the beginning of the design process and ultimately increase the efficiency of design in a BIM-based project.

모듈러주택 품질관리를 위한 BIM 적용 방안 (BIM Application Method for the Quality Management of Modular Houses)

  • The recent paradigm shift in the construction industry has led to a growing demand for industrial construction. In particular, interest in modular housing, one of the areas of industrialization architecture, is soaring. Modular housing is a construction method for completing a building by transporting factory-built modules to the site and assembling them. However, modular housing in Korea has various problems such as errors in design books, lack of factory drawings, and lack of on-site construction plans. BIM is a tool for accumulating, producing and managing various information through 3D models and is a solution to solve various problems of modular housing. In this study, problems of modular housing and BIM utilization of modular housing were presented as ways to ensure the quality of modular housing. Therefore, this study analyzed the problems that are occurring in the construction process of modular housing. And, to address the problem of modular housing, BIM utilization measures were proposed for each modular process step. However, the application of BIM in domestic modular project is currently being carried out in pilot research project. Because of this, the BIM utilize method for modular housing is limited based on the BIM use for general projects and the examples for some modular pilot projects.
