This paper presents a method of independent pulse repetition frequency(PRF) generation and control for frequency phase calibration on mono-pulse radar at a remote location. In order to generate an independent PRF signal of 320[Hz], pulse width modulation(PWM) of 16-bit timer/counter was applied. For a precision control of PRF signal, 16-bit timer/counter interrupt was changed for each period. Therefore, average frequency of PRF could be controlled by 0.0001[Hz]. To calibrate a frequency phase of mono-pulse radar at a remote location, the proposed PRF generator with a precision control of frequency was used regardless of receiving PRF signal from a radar. For the verification of the proposed PRF generator, theoretical analysis and experimental results are included.

By examining the relationship between physiological character of stomach and true viscera pulse(眞臟脈) with "Huangdinejing(黃帝內經)", the study shows these fallowing results. Stomach is not only one of the six bowels(六腑), it represents them. It is called as yang brightness of foot(足陽明) because it has relation with function of earth among five phases(五行), great storage(倉廩) and root of five visceras and six bowels(五臟六腑), has close relationship with triple energizers(三焦). Stomach is an important organ that feeds acquired qi(後天之氣) based on food and stomach qi (胃氣) which is a transformed form by going through digestion, is significant for life conservation. In human body, the activation of stomach qi can be known by pulse. The true viscera pulse is a pulse which predicts the period of death. If stomach qi exsits, viscera qi can be led to greater yin of hand(手太陰), however, when it does not exist, five viscera qi can not be led to greater yin of hand and this kind of situation appears the true viscera pulse. Hence, by knowing the relation between stomach qi and five viscera qi, the condition of normality, disease, and death can be known. In "Hwangdineijing" it says, stomach qi, shortly string like pulse(微弦), shortly surging pulse(微鉤), shortly floating pulse(微毛), and shortly sunken pulse(微毛) shown in four seasons are normal pulse. And also it emphasizes, normal pulse is made when four seasons, five viscera pulse, and stomach qi are in harmony. In conclusion, stomach qi is based on food for well being, and a standard of judging people whether they are living in a healthy life or not.

The aim of this study is to examine the reliability of Inyoung-Chongu pulse diagnosis by analyzing Inyoung-Chongu pulse measured on normal people. I measure the size of Inyoung & Chongu pulse, ratio of Inyoung to Chongu, and ratio of Chongu to Inyoung on 50 normal people. Inyoung pulse of normal people is $6.44{\pm}1.62$ volt and Chongu pulse of normal people is $6.81{\pm}1.70$ volt. The ratio of Inyoun to Chongu is $1.03{\pm}0.50$ and that of Chongu to Inyoung is $1.12{\pm}0.41$. Through this experiment, I conclude that the Inyoung-Chongu pulse diagnosis is reproducible on normal people and can develop pulse diagnosis device through comparison between Inyoung and Chongu pulse.

Purpose: This study was done to examine the effects of moxibustion on physiological indices, such as 24-hr blood pressure, pulse pressure, and pulse rate, and autonomic nervous symptoms among adults with prehypertension. Methods: Participants were adults whose systolic and diastolic blood pressures were in the prehypertension stage and were not under treatment for the condition. Both experimental and control group consisted of 13 participants who were taking classes on acupuncture and moxibustion at a private institute. The experimental group received moxibustion once a day for 15 min, at least 5 days a week for 8 weeks. The results were analyzed using $x^2$-test, t-test, Fisher's exact test, Wilcoxon rank sum test and repeated measures ANOVA with the SAS program. Bonferroni correction method was adopted for multiple comparisons. Results: No significant change was observed in the 24-hr systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the two groups. Differences in the 24-hr pulse pressure and pulse rate were also not significant. However, significant decreases in headache, symptoms of flushing and fatigue were observed in the experimental group. Conclusion: The results suggest that moxibustion contributes to alleviating symptoms such as headache, flushing and fatigue associated with the autonomic nervous system among adults with prehypertension.

The pulse waveforms of a carotid artery in the neck and a radial artery in the hand wrist were individually measured by using clip-type pulsimeter equipped with a permanent and Hall device. The pulse transit time and the pulse wave velocity obtained through comparison of two pulse waveforms were analyzed each other. A value of the pulse wave velocity was about 8.5 m/s similar to one measured by a conservative method. This result suggests that the clip-type pulsimeter as the reproducible and reliable one oriental diagnostic medical device can be predicted to any atherosclerosis state in the cardiac circulatory system.

Four-constitutional theory proposed by Dr. Lee, Je-ma has been evolve for last 100years by his followers. One of the major progresses was the emergence of constitutional acupuncture proposed by Dr. Kwan Doh-won. Constitutional acupuncture included the new pulse diagnostic method to determine the body type, pulse diagrams and corresponding acupuncture method called five element acupuncture in which five-element points in 12 meridian channels are used. Dr. Sa-ahm proposed five-element acupuncture three and a half hundred years age. Conjunction of Dr Lee's theory to Dr. Kwan proposed eight constitutions with eight pulse diagrams. He also adopted eight acupuncture prescriptions out of twenty-four Sa-ahm's acupuncture prescriptions. The author, Dr. Yom Tae-hwa, proposed more inclusive theory of 24 constitutions with 24 diagnostic pulse diagrams in Las Vegas International Acupuncture Convention in 1986. This article reviews history of constitutional medicine briefly. Each step of theoretical evolution from four-constitutional theory to twenty-four-constitutional theory is explained. By understanding the theoretical connection between twelve meridian channels based on five-element theory and four-constitutional theory in the article, one will easily accept the emergence of twelve of twenty four constitutional theory. Next, the article is focused on four subcategories under Sao-Yin constitution, which are one-sixth of 24 constitution. in this section classification, pulse diagnostic method, pulse diagram acupuncture prescriptions and herbal prescriptions are explained in detail. Then, clinical trial reports of acupuncture treatment and/or herbal formulas for such constitutions are attached for the rest part of the article. the purpose of this paper is to present the new hypothesis with the result of preliminary clinical trial hoping that additional clinical reports from other practitioners in this field triggers well-designed clinical study in future.

In this paper, we propose a method to design a generalized sinusoidal frequency modulated(GSFM) pulse that is robust to reverberation environment. GSFM pulses are a generalized form of SFM(Sinusoidal frequency modulated) pulses, which have the advantage of having a thumbtack ambiguity function with excellent range and Doppler resolution. However, the periodicity disappears during the generalization process, therefore, the detection performance is reduced in reverberation environment compared to SFM pulse with comb spectrum. In this paper, the trade-off relationship between the reverberation suppression performance of the SFM pulse and the range resolution performance of the GSFM pulse is analyzed by appropriately changing the parameter ${\rho}$ of the GSFM pulse. In order to verify the performance of the proposed GSFM pulse, the simulation was performed and it was confirmed that the proposed GSFM pulse has excellent distance resolution while detecting the slow Doppler target.

Residual stress relief by pulse magnetic treatment is attractive because the process is carried out at room temperature and magnetic fields that are easy to produce and control can be used. This study shows that strong pulse magnetic treatment can lead to stress relaxation of structural steels instead of a conventional heat treatment process. And it makes a comparative study about pulse magnetic treatment and tempering by using Larson-Miller equation. When the specimen was subjected to a pulse magnetic treatment process the residual stress in the specimen was reduced by about 13.8%. It could be compared with tempering at $200^{\circ}C$ for 2hours by using thermal effect of Larson-Miller equation. As a result, it is considered that the pulsed magnetic treatment have an effect of the stress relation by tempering at $200^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours.

In this paper, a new mehtod of reducing harmonics that involved in input AC line currents or in output DC voltage of the converter system is presented. which is due mainly to the quipment of 2-3 switching taps on interphase reactor. In case that the 3 tap method is applicable to conventional 12 pulse converter, it could not bring to an effect of reducing harmonics under firing angle 15\ulcorner To solve these problems, 24 pulse or 36 pulse converter is controlled by microprocessor. The former is performed in 2 tap method when \ulcorneris less than 15\ulcorner the latter in 3 tap method when it is more then 15\ulcorner Therefore the originality of this paper liea in microprocessor based equipment of the 2-3 switching taps on interphase reactor. I applied this method to the 12 pulse converter, and proved validity of that theoretically and experimentally.

In this paper, the transient response analysis of the trapezoidal corrugated plate subjected to the pulse load is investigated by the theoretical method. Three types of pulse loads are considered: stepped, isosceles triangular and right triangular pulse loads. The corrugated plates can be represented as an orthotropic plate. Both the effective extensional and flexural stiffness of this equivalent orthotropic plate are considered in the analysis. The plate is stiffened by concentric stiffeners perpendicular to the corrugation direction. The stiffening effect is represented by the discrete stiffener theory. This theoretical results are validated by those obtained from 3D finite element analysis based on shell elements. Some numerical results are presented to check the effect of the geometric properties.
