  • The art plastique is the part from which designers draw their inspirations to create fashion design. Many designers look for their inspirations from Art Plastique. Since the early 20th century, lots of designers led by Paul Poiret drew their inspirations from Art and co-works with artists. The direct involvement of those artists helped to position Fashion to be an art. Also, these co-works brought the mass media's attention and commercial profit. The most prevalent relationship between the fashion design and art plastique is the reproduction of art such as the 1960s 'Pop Art printed on T-shirts, which can be seen easily todays. After World War ll, art was popularized in a new society where young generation played a major role. Pop Art having image of the freedom and the rejection of tradition was considered as the major trend of 1960s. This study considers reflection of anti-traditionalism, anti-elitism and popularity as the kitsch of Pop. That is the attraction which youth culture looked for from Pop Art and the reason that 60's avast-garde cloth could position itself into the masses. Therefore, this study examines the influence of the kitsch of Pop and the expression of parody upon the major changes in 1960s fashion from which are the mini-look and women's trousers wearing. This study examines Andra Courreges who led 1960s Mini look and Yves Saint Laurent who introduced Pop dress, Smoking look and transparent blouse to find the way which makes it possible for avant garde fashion to have a close relationship with the public and to position itself to be a art.

  • This study was conducted for the purpose of empirically analyzing the effects of the adolescents' relationships with major adults as the protection factors for their game addiction. Specifically, the discriminatory effects of adolescents' relationships with their parents, school teacher, and educational institute teachers on game addiction among elementary, middle, and high school students were compared. Analyzing the data from "2019 Korean Children and Youth Happiness Index" (N=7,454), it was found that adult relationships are significant factors explaining the level of game addiction even after controlling the influence of adolescents' demographic and social characteristics, game use behavior, and friend relationship factors. In the case of elementary school students, the relationship with their mothers reduces the risk of game addiction, while for middle and high school students, the relationship with fathers acts as a protection factor for game addiction. Meanwhile, the protection effects of the relationship between teenagers and school teachers on game addiction was found only in middle school students, and contrary to expectations, the relationship with the educational institute teacher did not have a significant impact on the game addiction of teenagers. Based on the above major research results, this study discussed on the development of programs and policies for the prevention and intervention of youth game addiction and provided suggestions for the follow-up research in the future.

We examine the influences of mental health characteristics of adolescents on problem drinking. For the research method, this study conducts secondary analysis using raw data from the 13th (2017) Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey. A total of 9,597 cases, excluding adolescents without drinking experience, were used for the final analysis. For the data analysis, the SPSS Win 23.0 program was used, and frequency analysis, ${\chi}^2$-test, and logistic regression analysis were conducted. Research results found general characteristics, school, school record, living type, father's education, and economic state were influencing factors on problem drinking. Regarding characteristics of mental health, depression (95% CI:1.578~1.930, p<.001), subjective happiness (95% CI:1.039~1.491, p=.002), suicidal ideation (95% CI:1.110~1.426, p<.001), and sufficiency of sleep (95% CI:1.085~1.399, p=.001) were primary factors affecting adolescents' problem drinking. This is an empirical study in which researchers developed a logo type and presented designs that applied it. The research results are as follows. The brand name of the new L Fashion brand in Korea is 'LEAY'. This study developed a logo using the initials L, E, A, and Y, each standing for life, love, and liberty; esteem, eternity; act, art; and youth. The Caslon type font, which evokes a casual yet modern sentiment, was used for the design. Cleats and zippers, which are decorative subsidiary materials used in labels, tags, shopping bags, clothing, and props, were applied in the design of the developed logo type. A survey was conducted from August 10, 2017 until August 31, 2017, and 400 respondents' survey results were analyzed. For data analysis, SPSS 23.0 was utilized to perform descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, and regression analysis. As a result, five brand personality factors were derived, which are aesthetics, safety/expertise, sophistication, pro-environment, youth, respectively. For advertising model characteristics, seven factors were derived, which are credibility, visibility, attractiveness, expertise, similarity, likeability, and familiarity, respectively. This study investigated the relationship between characteristics of cosmetics advertising model, brand personality, and brand attitude. • Background: Multicultural families are constantly on the rise as marriage migrants and foreign workers increase. Multicultural families appear to record poor health levels compared to native families. As health is a social issue, children of surviving generations of multicultural families are also a growing interest. This study was conducted to confirm the effect of multicultural families and parents' educational level on the scaling experience of children. Methods: For this study, the 2016~2018 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey data were used. In order to make the two groups of adolescents belonging to multicultural and native families similar, a total of 5,362 people were included in the survey, consisting of 2,681 individuals each from multicultural and native families using the propensity score matching method. Logistic analysis was performed to identify factors influencing the scaling experience of adolescent children. Results: The results confirm that, even after controlling for factors such as parents' educational level, household income, and children's oral health behavior, parents' nationality appeared to have a statistically significant effect on their children's scaling experience. In addition, it was confirmed that the experience of oral health education had a significant effect. Conclusion: Cultural heterogeneity and the lack of adequate language ability of immigrants affects health behavior and medical accessibility. Therefore, children from multicultural families are more likely to be exposed to unhealthy environments compared to the children of native Korean families. Based on an understanding of the socioeconomic multicultural background of individuals, education and public policy should be prepared to improve the awareness for the need for preventive oral health and provide unhindered accessibility to dental services.

  • This study aimed to explore the causal relationship between an infant-mother's job satisfaction, psychological features, parenting stress and marital conflict through structural equation modeling. Specifically, we tried to identify influences of an infant-mother's job satisfaction on parenting stress and marital conflict and demonstrated how psychological features (self-efficacy, self-esteem, and depression) were mediated by these influences by using a sample of 444 Korean infant-mothers with jobs from the 3rd year of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey with AMOS 20.0. First, the results demonstrated that job satisfaction of an infant-mother positively related to their self-efficacy and self-esteem whereas negatively related to depression among psychological features. Furthermore, job satisfaction of an infant-mother showed negative relationships with parenting stress and marital conflict. Second, an infant-mother's job satisfaction did predict marital conflict, but not parenting stress. However, these job satisfactions were mediated by an infant-mother's psychological factors. Findings were discussed with regard to the relationship between an infant-mother's job satisfaction, parenting stress, and martial conflict in the family counseling implications.
