As the use of the Internet has become more common worldwide, digital marketing has gained a great weight as an advertising medium. Low cost and effective digital marketing tools include websites, eyes, blogs, search advertisements, online banners, mailings, YouTube, etc., which most companies around the world use one or more of them for digital marketing. I have. In this environment, global companies with more than one overseas subsidiary have become very interested in how to establish and implement digital marketing strategies. However, many studies have been conducted on the necessity of digital marketing and its implementation strategy, but there are no studies on specific implementation methods that can be applied in practice. Therefore, in this study, we intend to define digital marketing suitable for global SMEs, establish a promotion strategy model, and present a specific implementation strategy establishment planl. Through this, we intend to contribute to establishing a general-purpose SME global digital marketing strategy.
Purpose: This paper aims to propose a practical strategy for smart factories and a step-by-step quality strategy according to the maturity of smart factory construction. Methods: The characteristics, compositional requirements, and diagnosis system are examined for smart factories through theoretical considerations. Several cases of implementing smart factory are studied considering the company maturity level from the aspect of the smartness concept. And specific quality techniques and innovation activities are carefully reviewed. Results: The maturity level of smart factory was classified into five phases: 1) ICT non-application, 2) basic, 3) intermediate 1, 4) intermediate 2, 5) advanced level. A five-step quality strategy was established on the basis of case studies; identify, measure, analyze, optimize, and customize. Some quality techniques are introduced for step-by-step implementation of quality strategies. Conclusion: To build a successful smart factory, it is necessary to establish a quality strategy that suits the culture and size of the company. The quality management strategy proposed in this paper is expected to contribute to the establishment of appropriate strategies for the size and purpose of the company.
Hybrid simulation (HS) is a versatile tool for structural performance evaluation under dynamic loads. Although real structural responses are often multiple-directional owing to an eccentric mass/stiffness of the structure and/or excitations not along structural major axes, few HS in this field takes into account structural responses in multiple directions. Multi-directional loading is more challenging than uni-directional loading as there is a nonlinear transformation between actuator and specimen coordinate systems, increasing the difficulty of suppressing loading error. Moreover, redundant actuators may exist in multi-directional hybrid simulations of large-scale structures, which requires the loading strategy to contain ineffective loading of multiple actuators. To address these issues, lately a new strategy was conceived for accurate reproduction of desired displacements in bi-directional hybrid simulations (BHS), which is characterized in two features, i.e., iterative displacement command updating based on the Jacobian matrix considering nonlinear geometric relationships, and force-based control for compensating ineffective forces of redundant actuators. This paper performs performance validation and application of this new mixed loading strategy. In particular, virtual BHS considering linear and nonlinear specimen models, and the diversity of actuator properties were carried out. A validation test was implemented with a steel frame specimen. A real application of this strategy to BHS on a full-scale 2-story frame specimen was performed. Studies showed that this strategy exhibited excellent tracking performance for the measured displacements of the control point and remarkable compensation for ineffective forces of the redundant actuator. This strategy was demonstrated to be capable of accurately and effectively reproducing the desired displacements in large-scale BHS.

The Fukushima Daiichi accident in 2011 revealed some vulnerabilities of existing Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) under extended Station Blackout (SBO) accident conditions. One of the key Severe Accident Management (SAM) strategies developed post Fukushima accident is the In-Vessel Retention (IVR) Strategy which aims to retain the structural integrity of the Reactor Pressure Vessel (RPV). RELAP/SCDAPSIM/MOD3.4 is selected to predict the thermal-hydraulic response of APR1400 undergoing an extended SBO. To assess the effectiveness of the IVR strategy, it is essential to quantify the underlying uncertainties. In this work, both the epistemic and aleatory uncertainties are considered to identify the success window of the IVR strategy. A set of in-vessel relevant phenomena were identified based on Phenomena Identification and Ranking Tables (PIRT) developed for severe accidents and propagated through the thermal-hydraulic model using Wilk's sampling method. For this work, a Systems Engineering (SE) approach is applied to facilitate the development process of assessing the reliability and robustness of the APR1400 IVR strategy. Specifically, the Kossiakoff SE method is used to identify the requirements, functions and physical architecture, and to develop a design verification and validation plan. Using the SE approach provides a systematic tool to successfully achieve the research goal by linking each requirement to a verification or validation test with predefined success criteria at each stage of the model development. The developed model identified the conditions necessary for successful implementation of the IVR strategy which maintains the vessel integrity and prevents a melt-through.

This study examines the drivers and implementation of intrapreneurship strategy in a property service company. Using a qualitative case study approach, the study interviewed four managers involved in related intrapreneurship initiatives. The data was validated by an expert and a practitioner from a different company. The implementation of the company's intrapreneurship strategy is limited to improving new ways of working and developing products and services. However, business development and the creation of new business models are still limited. From several intrapreneurship driving factors, it was observed that the company practices are considered adequate with regard to top management support, leadership, flexibility in carrying out work, as well as in fairly harmonious arrangements for ongoing business relationships with the intrapreneurship projects. On the other hand, human resources with entrepreneurial behavior are still minimal. Similarly, the driving factors in reward and training that promote entrepreneurial behavior are also considered to be insufficient. The application of intrapreneurship as a strategy requires understanding and commitment from all parties in the organization. This study provides insight into the Indonesian context and proposes that intrapreneurship initiatives are less likely to succeed if they are not supported by developing a more systematic entrepreneurial mindset, behavior, and culture.

An economic downturn can occurred through unexpected events in various fields, such as the subprime mortgage crisis and the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19). Trade credit is important for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), especially during a monetary contraction, as it is the last option for firms that lack bank credit. This study aims to determine whether trade credit is profitable for the buyer and supplier firms during and after a financial crisis. We use panel data consisting of all trade credit transactions and financial statements of 5,751 Korean firms during the period 2008-2012. It shows that trade credit is more profitable for both buyers and suppliers in the post-crisis period than during the crisis. Moreover, trade payable is more effective for unconstrained buyers than for constrained buyers. Finally, a mixed strategy is superior to an aggressive or passive strategy of SMEs. The results suggest less profitability of trade credit during a period of contraction and greater sensitivity of the buyer SMEs, emphasizing the idiosyncratic liquidity strategy of each firm. This study can be helpful to develop a strategy of profitable trade credit for SMEs and to establish a policy of managing liquidity for the authority.

This study aims to find empirical evidence of causal relationship between strategy type, market orientation, strategic management accounting (SMA) strategic costing technique, and financial sector performance of private universities in Indonesia. The research object in this study are private universities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Yogyakarta is chosen because universities there are one of the barometers of higher education in Indonesia, and the city has quite a number of universities. The respondents in this study are the leader (manager) of private universities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The data analysis is done using SEM-PLS with WarpPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study show that market orientation has significant influence on the development and implementation of SMA strategic costing technique, while strategy type does not have significant influence on the development and implementation of SMA strategic costing technique. This study also finds that the implementation of SMA strategic costing technique significantly influences the financial sector performance of private universities in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This study provides theoretical implication regarding SMA development in universities that consider that contingency factors (market orientation) can encourage increased organizational performance. It indicates support for contingency theory that states there are no general principles that apply to all situations.
As artificial intelligence (AI) technology becomes more important, the demand for AI talent is increasing. However, there is a shortage of AI talent around the world, and it is difficult to secure. Therefore, it has become more important to nurture the AI workforce. The private sector and government in Korea and other countries are making an effort to cultivate AI talent, and ETRI has proposed "Nurturing AI Professionals" as ETRI AI Strategy #5 to meet both internal and national demands for AI talent. ETRI has suggested three key tasks to implement AI Strategy #5. The first one is to create a "top-notch AI talent training project: the ETRI AI Academy" to strengthen AI research capabilities. The second one is "nurturing AI engineers specialized in local-based industries: the ETRI AI Business School" to help supply the necessary AI workforce in the industry. The third one is the "contribution to AI education service for people: ETRI AI Literacy" to raise the public's understanding and utilization of AI.
