차세대 이동 멀티미디어 통신망의 IMT-2000에서 음성뿐만 아니라 데이타, 화상, 비디오와 같은 멀티미디어 서비스를 지원하기 위해서는, QoS를 보다 효과적으로 보장할수 있는 방안이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 핸드오프 시에 멀티미디어 서비스의 QoS를 보장하기 위한 방안의 하나로서 이동체 위치 추정에 기반을 둔 채널관리 기법인 FTC+DE를 제안한다. 시뮬레이션 결과에 의하면 제안 방법은 핸드오프 호의 블록킹율을 줄임으로서 멀티미디어 서비스의 QoS를 보다 효과적으로 유지할 수 있음이 확인되었다.

This experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary Vita2000 on growth performances and immune response in broiler chickens. One-day-old male chicks were fed diets containing 0, 0.5 and 1% Vita2000 (with or without antibiotics) for 5 wks. There were no significant differences in daily weight gain among the treatments, but feed intake in 1% Vita2000 groups (T3 and T4) were significantly lower than control (P<0.05). The relative abdominal fat weight and the level of crude fat in leg meat on groups fed diets containing 1% Vita2000 (T3 and T4) were significantly decreased as compared to those of control (P<0.05). The content of cholesterol in leg meat was not affect by dietary treatment. The intestinal total microbes, Coli form, Lactic acid bacteria and Salmonella spp. from bird fed 1% Vita2000 diets was significantly reduced compared to those of control. The production of IB antibody in chicks fed diet containing 0.5% Vita2000 was significantly higher than that of control groups. The overall results indicate that dietary Vita2000 may be a valuable alternative to antibiotics for optimizing growth performances, particularly for reducing the abdominal fat of broiler chicks.

This study investigates and compares the changes in ethnic fashion presented over a 30-year period to understand the diversity of ethnic trends according to historical trends. Data were collected from 59 volumes of "Vogue" magazine for January and July in each year from 1980 to 2009. The data used for content analysis consists of 407 words and these were condensed into three periods according to the decade (1980-1989, 1990-1999, and 2000-2009). The selected words were classified into five sub-themes according to previous research definitions such as Asian look, European look, American look, African look, and Oceanic look. The results are as follows. First, ethnic fashion was highly presented in the 1990s and 1980s, and decreased in the 2000s; of note is that the Asian look appeared more in the 1990s. Second, ethnic fashion showed a higher frequency of F/W seasons in the 1980s and S/S seasons in the 2000s, while both seasons had a higher frequency in the 1990s. The sub-themes of coexistence were presented 26seasons out of 59 seasons. The coexistence of the Asian-European look was evident in the 1980s and 2000s, while the sub-themes coexistence was more diverse in the 1990s. Third, the words selected from sub-themes of ethnic fashion demonstrated the differences by decade. In particular, various fabrics and patterns appeared in the 1990s.

In the integrated systems of wired and wireless networks, it is not fit to separate cellular networks to intelligent networks so IMT-2000 is basically developed including the intelligent networks. But it is not yet determined how functional entities of IMT-2000 map the corresponding physical entities. In this paper, we propose the integrated model by mapping various functional entities of IMT-2000 into the corresponding physical entities. Also, we proposs the call model for the mobile call setup and IN service call. Based on the proposed model, we evaluate the performance and compare with IMT-2000 in terms of the mean service delay and processing delay at each physical entities.

In this paper, a wide band modified inverted-F type antenna printed on a high dielectric ceramic material is designed and fabricated. This antenna is designed to have optimum antenna characteristics analyzing the effects of design parameters such as printed antenna pattern, ceramic dielectric material dimension and dielectric constant on antenna characteristics using the commercial simulation tool HFSS. The fabricated antenna's width, length and height are 8 mm, 8 mm and 3 mm, respectively. Measurement results show that it has -10 dB bandwidth of 270 MHz which satisfies the IMT-2000 bandwidth required for handset and that its maximum radiation gain is 2 dBi.

차세대 이동통신은 IMT-2000, UMTS, UPT 및 MBS 등이 대두되고 있으며, 이러한 시스템들은 전세계적으로 단일표준을 결정하여 하나의 단말기로 세계적인 고품질 서비스를 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위해 ITU는 세계 단일표준을 지향하여 표준화활동을 추진하고 있지만, 이것은 각국의 이해관계가 결부되어 복잡하게 전개되면서 미국, 유럽연합 및 일본은 지역시장을 선점하기 위한 기술표준을 논의하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 고에서는 우선 ITM-2000의 개념을 검토해 보고, 미국, 유럽연합 및 일본 등의 IMT-2000 기술의 연구개발 현황을 분석하고, 이들 국가의 차세대 휴대전화 기술개발 전략을 비교 분석하였다.

We searched out in the votes data of the State of Florida at presidential election 2000. We used a multivariate regression analysis. We got there were several outliers including Palm Beach County. It means that we should analyze the number of disqualified ballots which were double-punched as well as the votes, to insist the " Butterfly Ballot" made Palm Beach outlier.

차세대이동통신(IMT-2000/FPLMTS)을 중심으로 한 이동통신은 고도 정보화사회를 열어가는 주역으로 2000년대 초에는 전체 통신서비스의 약 50% 정도를 점유할 것으로 예견되고 있다. 본 고에서는 차세대 이동통신인 IMT-2000/FPLMTS에 대한 국제 표준화 동향 및 미국, 유럽, 일본 등의 표준화 및 개발 동향을 살펴보기로 하겠다. 또한 우리나라의 표준화 및 개발 동향을 살펴봄으로써 CDMA 디지털 셀룰러 세계 최초 상용화로 이룩한 이동통신 선진국의 위치를 차세대 이동통신 분야에서도 실현하여 우리나라가 이동통신 대국이 되는 방안을 모색해보기로 하겠다.

현재 IMT-2000 시스템에 대한 일련의 국제 표준 스펙이 발표되고 있으며, 이를 개발하는데 각국의 정보통신업체들이 총력을 기울이고 있다. 또한, 기존의 IMT-2000 시스템의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 무선전송 기술로 적응 변조 및 부호화 방법, Hybrid Automatic Repeat request, 빠른 셀 선택 기법, 다중 입력 다중 출력 안테나 처리 등에 대한 연구 및 표준화 작업이 진행 중이다. 또한 사설 또는 공설의 유선 네트워크와 연동하여 사용할 수 있는 Broad-band Wireless Access를 제공하는 표준안 작성 작업이 완성단계에 있으며, 이는 IMT-2000 시스템의 보완물로써 새로운 모빌 플렛폼 또는 새로운 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 기회를 준다.

cdma2000 1xEV(Evolution)-DO(Data Only)는 기존의 IS-2000 무선 프로토콜과 달리 패킷 데이터 서비스를 위한 전용 프로토콜로, 최대 2.4Mbps의 전송 속도를 제공한다. cdma2000 1xEV-DO는 이전의 프로토콜과 단리 무선 인터페이스 계층 구조에 따로 분리된 시큐리티 계층(security layer)을 가지며, 이 시큐리티 계층에서 패킷 데이터 서비스를 위한 인증과 암호화 서비스를 제공한다. 본 고에서는 패깃 데이터 서비스를 위한 전용 프로토콜인 chma2000 1xEV-DO의 시큐리티 계층의 4가지 프로토콜인 키 교환 프로토콜, 인증 프로토콜, 암호화 프로토롤, 시큐리티 프로토콜을 분석한다.
