This paper presents tuo implementation models for wireless service operators to offer Mobile-IP over IMT-2000 Data service under IMT-2000 network by taking advantage of the existing infrastructure for IMT-2000 services. For this purpose, a new Mobile-IP over IMT-2000-based protocol architectures are introduced and service operation schemes and handoff schemes according to various scenarios of packet data services in the IMT-2000 core network are presented. Also, this paper describes the handoff scheme in terms of channel states.

In this paper, we made researches into considerations for the numbering plan for IMT-2000 that seems to be a unit system integrating cellular, satellite, PCS. The purposes of the numbering plane for IMT-2000 ARE SIMILAR TO IMT-2000 evolution form:constructing the numbering plane centering around UPT as a PRE-FPLMTS from and futhermore, adding terminal mobility to IMT-2000. For this paper, we established three numbering plans for IMT-2000 that accepts various considerations.

우리 나라에서는 IMT-2000 상용서비스를 2002년에 제공할 것을 추진하고 있다. 따라서 국내 이동통신 장비업체들은 IMT-2000 시스템 개발에 더욱 박차를 가하고 있다. 국내에 구축되는 IMT-2000 시스템에는 비동기 시스템이 포함될 것이며, IMT-2000 서비스에서 제공하고자 하는 멀티미디어 통신이 범 세계적으로 가능하기 위해선 모든 관련 장비가 정확히 구현되어야 한다. 그래서 본 고에서는 우선, 비동기 방식인 WCDMA 단말기가 정확히 구현되었는지를 확인하기 위해서 WCDMA 단말기의 기능 및 성능평가를 위한 시험 요구사항에 대하여 분석하였다.

WRC-2000 allowed HAPS to provide IMT-2000 service in the bands 1885-1980 MHz, 2010-2025 MHz and 2110-2170 MHz which have been utilized by the conventional terrestrial IMT-2000 service. In this paper, we analyze the interference effects from HAPS into terrestrial IMT-2000 system in adjacent band. To do this, in this paper, we have analyzed the interference and the sharing criteria between HAPS and the conventional terrestrial/satellite mobile system by considering the service and system requirements, the specification of system and developing the interference scenarios and the analysis algorithms.

SPEC CPU2000 is an widely used benchmark program, both in industry and in academy, for measuring compute-intensive performance of computer systems with various architectures. However, there has been little effort to investigate its characteristics with respect to hardware components. This paper presents the performance scalability of SPEC CPU2000 benchmark over CPU clock speed. For an Intel x86-based system running at various clock speed, we measure the performance of SPEC CPU2000 benchmark, and analyze the characteristic of SPEC CPU2000 in a system aspect. In the experiment, we found that the overall performance of SPEC CPU2000 increases monotonically and linearly as the CPU clock speed increases and that the scale efficiencies of SPEC CPU2000 component benchmarks are quite evenly distributed.

본 고에서는 SK 텔레콤에서 수행해온 광대역 CDMA 및 IMT-2000 시스템에 관련된 연구개발 내용에 관하여 기술하였다. 우선 SK 텔레콤의 IMT-2000 무선접속 규격에 관하여 간략하게 기술하고 지금까지 개발한 IMT-2000 testbed 및 광대역 CDMA 시스템과 ASIC에 관하여 논하였다. 또한 IMT-2000 Network의 프로토콜 검증과 서비스 개발을 위해 수행하고 있는 network testbed의 구조와 현재 개발 진행 중인 IMT-2000 시스템에 대해서도 살펴본다.

2000년 문제들을 조기에 해결하고자 총무처에서 "행정정보화촉진시행계획('96-2000)"에 컴퓨터 2000년 연도표기 문제에 대처하는 사업을 반영시켰고, '97년 5월에 "컴퓨터 2000년 연도표기문제 처리지침"을 마련하여 각 부처에 시달하였으며, 동 지침을 실무자들이 수행하는데 이해를 돕기 위하여 지침에 대한 해설서를 작성하여 '97년 7월 각 부처에 송부하였다. 이 글에서는 동 지침을 중심으로 행정부문의 Y2K(2000년)현황과 대책을 소개한다.

Objectives : This study was performed to investigate the antifatigue effect of SM-2000 on fatigued and stressed people. Methods : This study was carried out on 23 healthy people who have fatigue and stress. 11 people as the mentally-stressed group were examined by subjective symptoms of fatigue and blood cortisol test. They drank SM-2000 for seven days. SM-2000 was made up herbs which were used for fatigue. After that they were again examined by subjective symptoms of fatigue and blood cortisol test. 12 people as the physically-fatigued group were examined with fatigue biomarkers and exercise test. They also drank SM-2000 for seven days. After that they were again examined with fatigue biomarkers and exercise test. Results : Cortisol level, subjective symptoms of fatigue scores and physical, mental, and neuro-sensory symptoms of fatigue scores after drinking SM-2000 were not significantly increased compared with before drinking SM-2000 in the mental stressed group. SM-2000 significantly decreased lactate, glucose, and phosphorous levels, and running time after drinking SM-2000 was significantly suppressed compared with before drinking SM-2000 in the physically-fatigued group. Conclusions : On the basis of these results, SM-2000 had a clinical antifatigue effect in physically-fatigued people.

Recently NMEA 2000 protocol is familiarized as a standard real time instrument network of SOLAS ship. This paper is studied to develop NMEA 2000 based two-dimensional ultrasonic anemometer which is core device for navigation as a sensor of wind speed and direction using ultrasonic including temperature and barometer. Developed system is connected to NMEA 2000 network which is composed of various kinds of merchandised NMEA 2000 device such as depth gauge, speed gauge, GPS device etc. to test connectivity with other NMEA 2000 device and functional test are carried out as weather station in comparison with other merchandised weather station which are developed advanced foreign company to ascertain usability as a weather station on board.
