  • Current smartphone authentication systems are deemed inconvenient and difficult for users on remembering their password as well as privacy issues on stolen or forged biometrics. New authentication system is demanded to be implicit to users with very minimum user involvement being. This idea aims towards a future model of authentication system for smartphones users without users realizing them being authenticated. We use the most frequent activity that users carry out with their smartphone, which is the calling activity. We derive two basics related interactions that are first factor being arm's flex (AF) action to pick a phone to be near ones' ears and then once getting near ear using second factor from ear shape image. Here, we combine behavior biometrics from AF in first factor and physical biometrics from ear image in second factor. Our study shows our dual-factor authentication system does not require explicit user interaction thereby improving convenience and alleviating burden from users from persistent necessity to remember password. These findings will augment development of novel implicit authentication system being transparent, easier, and unobtrusive for users.

  • With the popularization of smart phones and the development of the Internet, many people use smart phones to conduct identity verification procedures. smart phones are easier and faster to authenticate than personal desktop computers. However, as Internet hacking technology and malicious code distribution technology rapidly evolve and attack types become more diverse, authentication methods suitable for mobile environment are required. As authentication methods, there are methods such as possessive-based authentication, knowledge-based authentication, biometric-based authentication, pattern-based authentication, and multi-element authentication. In this paper, we propose a user authentication mechanism that uses collected information as authentication factor using smart phone. Using the proposed authentication mechanism, it is possible to use the smart phone information and environment information of the user as a hidden authentication factor, so that the authentication process can be performed without being exposed to others. We implemented the user authentication system using the proposed authentication mechanism and evaluated the effectiveness based on applicability, convenience, and security.

  • Today, the great revolution in all financial industrial such as bank have been progressing through the utilization of IT technology actively, it is called the fintech. In this paper, we draw the draft design of NFC-based electronic payment and coupon system using FIDO framework to apply the 2 factor authentication technique for strength security. In detailed, we will study that the terminal device in front-end will be applied the 2 factor authentication and electric signature, and cloud-based payment gateway in back-end will be applied malicious code detection technique of distributed avoidance type.

  • This paper proposes a method to shut out all of the not certified network access packet by embodying the two-factor(MAC ADDRESS, ID/PASSWORD) authentication system. The Authenticating Gateway System takes over central server's policy and permit or hold up the packet by inherited policy. And checks the whether or not patched the OS version and getting influenced from computer virus. And takes the information about client's resources(H/W, S/W) without Agent in the client. That makes more stability of network operating circumstance and fast facing the attack from hackers. In the fixed mobile network circumstance, This method provides more simplicity and less expenses than IEEE802.1x authentication system(cisco nac).

  • Lately weight for smartphone mounted to function for NFC is increasing, rapidly. Because of this, NFC related technology is made by many companies. We developed Gallery-Auction for security enhancements and new services of NFC-based 2 factor electronic payment system. Enhanced security features development of user authentication module through fingerprint recognition to apply FIDO authentication technology and developed electronic contract voice service of Gallery-Auction using TTS(Text to Speech). Therefore we enhanced convenient and simple authentication method and security through NFC mobile electronic payment.

  • Biometric information does not need to be stored separately, and there is no risk of loss and no theft. For this reason, it has been attracting attention as an alternative authentication means for existing authentication means such as passwords and authorized certificates. However, there may be a privacy problem due to leakage of personal information stored in the server. To overcome these weaknesses, FIDO solved the problem of leakage of personal information on the server by using biometric information stored on the user device and authenticating. In this paper, we propose a multiple biometric authentication method that can be used in FIDO environment. In order to utilize multiple biometric information, fingerprints and EEG signals can be generated and used in FIDO system. The proposed method can solve the problem due to limitations of existing 2-factor authentication system by authentication using multiple biometric information.

  • This study provides two channel structure and two factor authentication. First, a purchasing request by Internet and then user certification and a settlement approval process by mobile communication. Second, it support that proposal protocol utilize a partial factor value of stored in users smartcard, smart phone and password of certificate. Third, storage stability is improved because certificate store in smartcard. Finally, proposal protocol satisfy confidentiality, integrity, authentication, and non- repudiation on required E-commerce guideline. In comparative analysis, Efficiency of the proposal protocol with the existing system was not significantly different. But, In terms of safety for a variety of threats to prove more secure than the existing system was confirmed.

  • As user of mobile device increases, various user authentication methods are actively researched. The user authentication methods includes a method of using a user ID and a password, a method of using user biometric feature, a method of using location based, and a method of authenticating secondary authentication such as OTP(One Time Password) method is used. In this paper, we propose a user system which improves the problem of existing authentication method and encryption can proceed in a way that user desires. The proposed authentication system is composed of an authentication factor collection module that collects authentication factors using a mobile device, a security key generation module that generates a security key by combining the collected authentication factors, and a module that performs authentication using the generated security key module.

  • Many security systems rely solely on solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, which are weak in nature. These security solutions can be easily manipulated by malicious users who can gain unlawful access. Some security systems suggest using fingerprint-based solutions, but they can be easily deceived by copying fingerprints with clay. Image-based security is undoubtedly easy to manipulate, but it is also a solution that does not require any special training on the part of the user. In this paper, we propose a multi-factor security framework that operates in a three-step process to authenticate the user. The motivation of the research lies in utilizing commonly available and inexpensive devices such as onsite CCTV cameras and smartphone camera and providing fully secure user authentication. We have used technologies such as Argon2 for hashing image features and physically unclonable identification for secure device-server communication. We also discuss the methodological workflow of the proposed multi-factor authentication framework. In addition, we present the service scenario of the proposed model. Finally, we analyze qualitatively the proposed model and compare it with state-of-the-art methods to evaluate the usability of the model in real-world applications.
