무게 있는 리프 이진 트리 균형 문제를 해결하는 알고리즘 (Algorithms for Balancing Weighted-Leaf Binary Tree)

  • 본 논문에서는 이진 트리 형태를 가지는 다관절체의 균형을 잡거나 이진 트리 모양으로 연결된 네트워크 상에서 단말 노드들의 부하를 균형 있게 하는데 이용할 수 있는 무게 있는 리프 이진 트리 균형 문제를 제안한다. 또한 무게 있는 리프 이진 트리 균형 문제를 리프들의 무게 변화량의 쌍의 {{{{ { l}_{ 1} }}}}-norm, {{{{ { l}_{2 } }}}}-norm, {{{{ { l}_{3 } }}}}-norm 각각을 최소로 하면서 해결하는 방법들을 제안한다. 이 방법들은 무게 있는 리프 이진 트리 균형 문제의 특성을 이용하여 n개 변수를 하나의 변수의 양의 상수배로 나타냄으로써 해결할 수 있음을 보인다.

  • In this paper we present many interesting results such as completeness and composition theorems in the 𝛼 norm. Moreover, under some conditions, we establish the existence and uniqueness of Cn-(𝜇, 𝜈) pseudo-almost automorphic solutions of class r in the 𝛼-norm for some partial functional differential equations in Banach space when the delay is distributed. An example is given to illustrate our results.

Modal-based mixed vibration control for uncertain piezoelectric flexible structures

  • H-infinity norm relates to the maximum in the frequency response function and H-infinity control method focuses on the case that the vibration is excited at the fundamental frequency, while 2-norm relates to the output energy of systems with the input of pulses or white noises and 2-norm control method weighs the overall vibration performance of systems. The trade-off between the performance in frequency-domain and that in time-domain may be achieved by integrating two indices in the mixed vibration control method. Based on the linear fractional state space representation in the modal space for a piezoelectric flexible structure with uncertain modal parameters and un-modeled residual high-frequency modes, a mixed dynamic output feedback control design method is proposed to suppress the structural vibration. Using the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, the initial populations are generated by the designing of robust control laws with different H-infinity performance indices before the robust 2-norm performance index of the closed-loop system is included in the fitness function of optimization. A flexible beam structure with a piezoelectric sensor and a piezoelectric actuator are used as the subject for numerical studies. Compared with the velocity feedback control method, the numerical simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, we present some upper bounds for unitarily invariant norms inequalities. Among other inequalities, we show some upper bounds for the Hilbert-Schmidt norm. In particular, we prove $${\parallel}f(A)Xg(B){\pm}g(B)Xf(A){\parallel}_2{\leq}{\Large{\parallel}}{\frac{(I+{\mid}A{\mid})X(I+{\mid}B{\mid})+(I+{\mid}B{\mid})X(I+{\mid}A{\mid})}{^dA^dB}}{\Large{\parallel}}_2$$, where A, B, $X{\in}{\mathbb{M}}_n$ such that A, B are Hermitian with ${\sigma}(A){\cup}{\sigma}(B){\subset}{\mathbb{D}}$ and f, g are analytic on the complex unit disk ${\mathbb{D}}$, g(0) = f(0) = 1, Re(f) > 0 and Re(g) > 0.

Power Failure Sensitivity Analysis via Grouped L1/2 Sparsity Constrained Logistic Regression

  • To supply precise marketing and differentiated service for the electric power service department, it is very important to predict the customers with high sensitivity of electric power failure. To solve this problem, we propose a novel grouped 𝑙1/2 sparsity constrained logistic regression method for sensitivity assessment of electric power failure. Different from the 𝑙1 norm and k-support norm, the proposed grouped 𝑙1/2 sparsity constrained logistic regression method simultaneously imposes the inter-class information and tighter approximation to the nonconvex 𝑙0 sparsity to exploit multiple correlated attributions for prediction. Firstly, the attributes or factors for predicting the customer sensitivity of power failure are selected from customer sheets, such as customer information, electric consuming information, electrical bill, 95598 work sheet, power failure events, etc. Secondly, all these samples with attributes are clustered into several categories, and samples in the same category are assumed to be sharing similar properties. Then, 𝑙1/2 norm constrained logistic regression model is built to predict the customer's sensitivity of power failure. Alternating direction of multipliers (ADMM) algorithm is finally employed to solve the problem by splitting it into several sub-problems effectively. Experimental results on power electrical dataset with about one million customer data from a province validate that the proposed method has a good prediction accuracy.

  • In this paper, we give some sufficient conditions for convergence of geometric mean for T-related fuzzy numbers where T is an Archimedean t-norm under some mild restrictions. These results generalize earlier results of Hong and Lee [Fuzzy Sets and Systems 116 (2000) 263-267].

  • Let $d_*(1,w)^2 ={\mathbb{R}}^2$ with the octagonal norm of weight w. It is the two dimensional real predual of Lorentz sequence space. In this paper we classify the smooth points of the unit ball of the space of symmetric bilinear forms on $d_*(1,w)^2$.   • This article provides the connection between feedback stabilization and interpolation conditions for n-D linear systems (n > 1). In addition to internal stability, if one demands performance as a design goal, then there results an n-D matrix Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation problem. Application of recent work on Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation on the polydisk yields a solution of the problem for the 2-D case. The same analysis applies in the n-D case (n > 2), but leads to solutions which are contractive in a norm (the "Schur-Agler norm") somewhat stronger than the $H^{\infty}$ norm. This is an analogous version of the connection between the standard $H^{\infty}$ control problem and an interpolation problem of Nevanlinna-Pick type in the classical 1-D linear time-invariant systems.

  • In this paper, we show that a complete translating soliton Σm in ℝn for the mean curvature flow is stable with respect to weighted volume functional if Σ satisfies that the Lm norm of the second fundamental form is smaller than an explicit constant that depends only on the dimension of Σ and the Sobolev constant provided in Michael and Simon [12]. Under the same assumption, we also prove that under this upper bound, there is no non-trivial f-harmonic 1-form of L2f on Σ. With the additional assumption that Σ is contained in an upper half-space with respect to the translating direction then it has only one end.

  • principle of least motion의 정량적 표현을 제시하였다. potential energy surface상의 주어진 반응 경로에 대하여 전자 위치 변수의 함수, 그 함수의 norm과 반응 경로 평균 에너지를 일의적으로 정의하였고, 그들의 성질을 검토하였다. 함수의 norm과 평균 에너지를, 일분자 이성질체화 반응의 허용된 경로를 판별하는 척도로 사용할 수 있음을 제안하였다. 대칭성을 가진 분자에 대해서 계산하지 않고 허용된 경로를 판별하였으며 Woodward-Hoffmann 규칙의 적용과 같은 결과를 얻었다
