An anti-swing control for 2 axis overhead cranes (2축 천정 크레인의 무진동 제어)

  • This paper proposes an anti-swing control law for a 2 degrees of freedom overhead crane. The dynamic model of a 2 degrees of freedom crane is highly nonlinear and coupled. The model is linearized and decoupled for each degree of freedom of the crane for small motions of the load about the vertical. Then a decoupled anti-swing control law is designed for each degree of freedom of the crane based on the linearized model. The control law consists of a position control loop and an swing angle control loop. The position loop,. is designed based on the loop shaping method and the swing angle loop is designed via the root locus method. Finally, the proposed anti-swing control law is implemented and evaluated on a 2 degrees of freedom prototype crane.

  • 본 논문에서는 비콘을 스캔하기 위한 고정된 하나의 수신기로 실내 위치를 파악할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 비콘의 위치를 파악하기 위해 센서를 추가하고 와이파이를 이용해 사용자의 시스템 이용 범위를 확장시켰다. 또한 추가된 센서를 이용해 위치를 추적하는 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 개발된 어플리케이션을 통해 이용자 2 (User 2)가 이용자 1 (User 1)의 위치를 모니터링 할 수 있다.

  • 임계 암호시스템은 현대 암호학에서 중요한 한 축을 이루는 암호학의 한 분야이다. 본 논문에서는 임계 암호시스템의 근간이 되는 비밀 분산(Secret Sharing)의 한 분야인 (k, n) threshold scheme에서 능동적 비밀 분산 (Proactive Secret Sharing)을 위한 공유(Share)갱신 방법을 개선한 새로운 공유 갱신 방법을 제안한다. 이전 방법은 각 참여자당 O(n$^2$)의 모듈라 멱승 연산을 수행하는데 비하여 제안 방법은 O(n)의 모듈라 멱승 연산만으로 공유갱신이 가능하다. 이와 함께 본 논문에서는 k <(1/2)n-1인 경우에 대하여 제안 방법의 안전함을 증명한다.

  • Hand-signal is an effective communication means in the situation where voice cannot be used for expression especially for soldiers. Vision-based approaches using cameras as input devices are widely suggested in the literature. However, these approaches are not suitable for soldiers that have unseen visions in many cases. in addition, existing special-glove approaches utilize the information of fingers only. Thus, they are still lack for soldiers' hand-signal recognition that involves not only finger motions, but also additional information such as the rotation of a hand. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a new recognition system for six military hand-signal motions, i. e., 'ready', 'move', quick move', 'crawl', 'stop', and 'lying-down'. For this purpose, we have proposed a finger-recognition method and motion-recognition methods. The finger-recognition method discriminate how much each finger is bended, i. e., 'completely flattened', 'slightly flattened', 'slightly bended', and 'completely bended'. The motion-recognition algorithms are based on the characterization of each hand-signal motion in terms of the three axes. Through repetitive experiments, our system have shown 91.2% of correct recognition.

  • This paper explores a real-time system implementation to couple tightly StrapDown Inertial Navigation System(SDINS) and Global Positioning System(GPS) mounted on the aircraft. When implementing the SDINS/GPS coupled system in real-time processor, we have to deliberate SDINS's unique characteristics based on the ring laser gyro, and besides, lever-arm, measurements, and error compensation method. The novel modeling method is applied to system the misalignment error term of gyro to estimate the cumulative heading attitude errors while the aircraft banking to turn repeatedly. Captive Flight Test results show that the proposed modeling strategy has good performance.

Performance Characteristics of a Partially Admitted Small Mixed-Type Turbine (부분분사에서 작동하는 소형 사류형 터빈에서의 성능특성에 관한 연구)

  • A mixed-type turbine was adopted and the rotor outer diameter was 108 mm. Turbine rotors were designed to the axial-type blade because the turbine operated at a low partial admission rate of 1.7-2.0% with two stages. Performance characteristics were studied when the spouting from the nozzle was toward radially inward or outward direction. Additionally, the effect at each stage of the rotor was measured. For comparing with each turbine performance, properties were measured based on various rotational speeds. Measured net specific torque was used to compare with the turbine system performance. On the mixed-type turbine, better performance was obtained when the operating air spouted toward radially inward direction. The specific torque was increased by 7.8% from using the second stage although its effect depended on the rotational speed.

  • This paper describes the stress analysis of a curved beam by using photoelasticity. In order to measure accurate isochromatic fringe orders at certain locations. fringes are doubled and sharpened by digital image processing. After fringe multiplication and sharpening. fringe orders can be read as a quarter order interval (N=0, 1/4, 2/4, 3/4,...). The results obtained from photoelastic experiment are compared with those calculated by using theory. Two results are agreed well even though there are some scatter bands with maximum 8 percent for the results of photoelastic measurements and theoretical calculation. Difference may be occurred due to the slight misalignment of the direction to which axial load is applied in photoelastic experiment. It is confirmed that accurate measurement of stress distribution can be possible by using the techniques of fringe multiplication and sharpening in photoelasticity.

  • In this paper, we propose the method that analyzes the depth of object using 2 images in the disparity algorithm. It also presents the design and implementation of the proposed method for a real time processing. The proposed system uses the vertical strip structure for calculating similar pixel numbers for the processing and converts the depth of object into gray scale images in order to be displayed on various display devices. The hardware using the proposed method is operating with 30 frames/sec and verified by using the Altera APEX 20K1000EBC652-3. The proposed method is also Implemented into It by using the Hynix 0.35${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CB35 ASIC library and 256PQFP package.

  • 본 논문에서는 2.5MW급 풍력터빈에 적용된 이중여자 권선형 유도발전기 제어를 위한 풍력발전시스템의 핵심요소인 전력변환장치 제작기술과 풍력발전시스템 제어를 위한 요소기술에 대해 기술한다. 2.5MW급 풍력터빈을 계통연계하기 위해서는 풍력제어기와 컨버터를 설계하고 상호 인터페이스등을 고려하여 적절한 풍속조건에서 계통측에 발전전력을 전달하여야 한다. 또한, 최근 계통 사업자측에서 요구하는 Grid-code에 대응하기 위한 제어알고리즘을 설계하여야 하고, 타워의 진동억제를 위한 축진동 억제 알고리즘 등을 추가로 전력변환장치에 적용하여야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 2.5MW급 풍력터빈용 PCS개발을 위한 각종 제어알고리즘과 H/W설계기술에 대해서 기술한다.

  • Propulsion System provides the required velocity change impulse for orbit transfer from parking orbit to mission orbit and three-axis vehicle attitude control impulse. KOMPSAT-2 propulsion system(PS) is an all-welded, monopropellant hydrazine system. The PS consists of the subassemblies and components such as Thrusters, Propellant Tank, Pressure Transducer, Propellant Filter, Latching Isolation Valves, Fill/Drain Valves, interconnecting propellant line assembly, and thermal hardwares for operation-environment control of the PS. This paper summarizes a development process of the liquid propulsion system from the design engineering up to the test and evaluation.
