Owing to the mass-housing policies of high-density and high-rise, the residential environments in Korea have come to be uniform and monotonous. Nevertheless, the design competitions introduced for th first time in 1980s have played significant roles in developing the fresh ideas and concepts in housing design. It is important to review the ideas played proposed in competitions until now in order to spread them into other housing developments. In this context, this study classified the types of unit plan and analyzed their design characteristics in the proposals of housing design competitions in 1990s.

정보통신 기술의 발달은 도서관에 많은 영향을 끼치고 있으며 도서관의 많은 업무중에서 정보조직 또는 정보처리로 지칭되는 분류 및 목록 업무는 계속해서 변화하고 있다. 그러므로 목록 업무를 담당하는 목록 사서의 역할이 달라지고 목록사서로서 적합한 자격요건도 변하는 것이 마땅하며 그러한 자격을 갖출 수 있도록 목록 교육도 변해야만다. 본 연구는 1996년부터 11999년도 5월까지 American Libraries의 사서직 구인광고에서 목록사서직의 지원자격을 필수적인 요건과 바람직한 요건으로 나누어 내용 분석을 하였다. 또한 가장 중요하게 비중을 두고 있는 요건과 새롭게 강조되고 있는 요건을 목록 교육의 내용 및 방향과 연관하여 제시하였다.

The present paper demonstrates the expressions and amounts of pepsinogen and prochymosin in neonate, young and adult goat's proper gastric glandular regions by the immunochemical and the immunohistochemical analyses with the anti-bovine pepsinogen serum and anti-bovine chymosin serum. Each bovine serum was demonstrated to have reactivities against corresponding goat's antigen by immunochemical analses and enzymatic activities. The anti-pepsinogen was higher in the new born animals than the maternal milk feeding one, suggesting that the maternal milk might control the pepsinogen production in the proper gastric glands. The patterns of prochymosin expression in the goats was similar to that in cattle.

This paper analyzed the collections of Dries Van Noten and found the influences of oriental ethnic costumes. The oriental looks which he had shown in his collections are followings : Largely, the menswear designs of Van Noten took the concept of an easy and loose style which is a common shape in oriental ethnic costumes. Especially various transformations of layered look were found in his collections. Design ideas of Van Noten's womenswear style included variations of a sarong style, a kimono style, and etc. Also in his womenswear collections, various styles of layered look were shown. He often used lustrous fabrics like satin, brocade, and damask which are driven from the oriental region. His collections had Chinese dragon-or flower-pattern, Japanese geometric pattern, and Indian henna pattern. The patterns were embroidered or gilded.

Clubroot disease of curcifer crops caused by Plasmodiophora brassicae had been first reported in 1920 in Korea, and maintained mild occurrence until 1980s. Since 1990s the disease has become severe in alpine areas of Kyonggi and Kangwon, gradually spread to plain fields throughout the country, and remains as the greatest limiting factor for its production. Researches on the disease has begun in late 1990s in our laboratory after experiencing severe epidemics. Survey of occurrence and etiological and ecological studies have been carried out, particularly, on the pathogen physiology, race identification, quantification of soil pathogen population, host spectrum of the pathogen, and control measures.(중략)

Author outlines briefly developments of policies relating to telecommunication infrastructure and databases since latter half of 1970′s. There exist three phases. The first phase was from later 1970′s to 1985, which was an initial stage of electronic information service in Japan. In the second phase, 1985～1990, basic policy change made possible the privatization of telecommunication services and proliferation of database products and vendors, The third phase began in early 1990′s with downsizing in computer usage, wide-spreading information networks and rapid dissemination of personal computers. Then author describes offers on policy formation for "novel information infrastructure" and current situation concerning the "Internet" in Japan. Finally, tasks and problems for implementing new generation program for information infrastructure and database usage are pointed out, These are knowledge resource, cost, copyrights and cultural problems including language.

The purpose of this study was to review criticallu the current slates of researches in the area of consumer culture and to suggest several ways in which it can be improved. After analyzing 87 articles in major journals which have published during the 1980s, 1990s, the major findings are as follows: First, the articles in this field has increased sharply in latter half of 1990s. Second, the subjects of these researches can be divided into three. They are general consumption culture(including consumption value), abnormal consumer behavior(including overconsumption, addictive buying and conspicuous consumption) and pro-environmental consumer behavior. Third, the adolescents is most frequently researched. Fourth, same as other areas the major methodology is positivistic one which focuses the survey analysis to investigate the relationships of many variables. Implications are also discussed with respect to future research.

본 연구는 1990년대 우리나라를 포함한 OECD 국가의 지식기반산업 현황을 기술하고, 지식기반산업에서 IT 산업의 역할을 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 1990년대 OECD 국가들의 지식기반산업의 중요한 특징은 OECD 각 국가들이 지식기반산업을 미래 중요한 산업으로 인식하고 지속적 자원투자와 관심을 기울이고 있다는 데 있다. 본 연구에서 대상 분석기간 동안 OECD 국가의 지식기반산업성장률은 5% 증가하였으며, 우리나라의 경우는 이보다 높은 10%대의 증가를 기록하였다. 또한 OECD 국가들의 지식기반산업 형성과정에서 IT 산업은 전통적 제조업의 역할보다 기술혁신 측면과 무역수지 측면에서 매우 중요한 역할을 수행한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 우리나라의 경우에 지식기반산업의 형성과정에서 IT 산업의 기여도는 다른 OECD 국가보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 지식기반산업 가운데 IT 산업은 생산성 증가요인을 분해하여 볼 때, 전반적으로 산업간의 효율성에 의한 생산성증가, 산업간의 자원이동에 의한 생산성증가 그리고 IT 산업자체의 노동생산성증가 요인에서 다른 산업에 비하여 상대적으로 우월하게 나타났다.

초장주기 식쌍성 AZ Cas의 RI 측광관측을 1990년부터 1993년까지 3년간 연세대 학교 천문대 60 cm Goto 반사망원경으로 수행하였다. 총 관측일 수는 77일이고 관 측첨 옴 884점 이다. 매년 관측한 모든 관측값들을 가지고 표준화 등급으로 환산하여 AZ Cas의 R,l, 색지수의 광도곡선을 만들어 제시하였다. 이 광도곡선의 위상의 구간은 식현상이 없는 $0.^p54$~$0.^p87$이며, 광도곡선상에서 식 바깥에서의 광도의 변화는 나타나지 않았다.

Ranicef\ulcorner[Cefpimizole sodium] is a new semisynthetic cephalosporin C derivative, was administered to 30 patients with empyema thoracis to evaluate its efficacy from Nov. 1989 to May 1990 at Department of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery, Dongsan Medical Center, Keimyung University. The results were as follows. 1. The clinical efficacy of therapy was excellent in 15 cases, effective in 11 cases and failure in 4 cases. The effectiveness rate was 86.7%, respectively. 2. Among 30 cases organisms were cultured in 19 cases and 24 clinical strains were isolated. \ulcorner-hemolytic streptococcus[5], S. epidermidis[4], Pseudomonas aeruginosa[3], E. coli[3 of 5 cases], S. aureus[3 of 4 cases] and Klebsiella pneumoniae[1 of 2 cases] were effective to Ranicef\ulcorner 3. Abnormal clinical values, a decrease in platelet was observed in 3 cases and slight increases of s-GOT/GPT in 2 cases. But they were not so severe that they improved without. There were two cases of mild gastrointestinal symptom.
