A Fundamental Comparison and Enhancement of Simulation and Optimization Modeling Approach for Multiple Reservoir Operation (댐군 연계운영에서 시뮬레이션 기법과 최적화 모형 활용기법의 원론적 비교 및 개선방법에 대한 연구)

  • 수자원의 효율적 이용 및 관리는 심화되고 있는 기후변화에 선제적으로 대응하고 발생가능한 물위기에 대비하기 위한 필수조건이다. 그 중 가장 핵심이 되는 요소는 댐에 저수된 물을 효과적으로 이용하는 것, 즉 댐 건설목적에 따라 시간 및 공간별로 적절하게 할당시키는 것이라고 할 수 있다(Kim, 1998). 그러나 단일 댐의 운영과는 달리 수계내 댐군의 연계 운영은 매우 복잡하고 어려운 문제이다. 연계된 댐들간 저수 상황을 고려하여 유역내 시 공간적인 용수 수요의 지속적인 충족을 위하여 유입량 예측의 정확성을 높이도록 하고, 상류 댐에 최대한 저류하도록 하며, 여수로 방류 같은 불필요한 방류를 최소화 하고, 서로 상충되는 목표를 갖고 있지만, 홍수용량 및 발전수위를 최대로 확보하도록 하여야 한다. 이처럼 댐 운영을 위한 실제 상황은 단일 목적에 의한 최적화와는 달리 여러 상충되는 목적 및 구성 요소들간의 타협, 조정을 필요로 한다. 댐군의 연계운영 문제는 1960년대 초부터 현재까지 활발히 연구가 진행되어 온 분야 중 하나이나 문제의 복잡성과 어려움으로 인해 아직까지도 최선의 방안을 제시하기 어려운 문제이다(ReVelle, 2000). 이를 위한 방법은 시뮬레이션 모형 활용기법과 최적화 모형 활용기법으로 대별할 수 있으며 각 방법의 서로 다른 구조적 특성과 장단점으로 인하여 이원화된 체계로 사용되는 것이 현재의 국내 실정이다. 대부분의 실무에서는 이해도도 쉽고, 비교적 결과를 빨리 도출할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 기반의 모형을 활용하며 대표적으로 HEC-5, K-ModSim, HEC-ResSim 등이 활용되어왔다. 반면, 학계에서는 DP, MIP, SLP, SDP 등 최적화기법을 댐운영에 활용 할 것을 제안하고 있지만, 활용에 대한 거부감이 남아있는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션과 최적화기법의 원론적 비교를 통해 각 방법의 장단점과 한계점을 분석하고, 왜 이원화된 사용체계로 되었는지에 대한 고찰과 이에 대한 해결책으로 시뮬레이션모형의 장점과 최적화기법의 장점을 결합한 모형을 제안한다. 국내에는 Kim and Park(1998)이 시뮬레이션 기반의 최적화 모형 CoMOM(Coordinated Multi-Reservoir Operating Model)을 개발하였으며, 이후 21C프론티어 연구사업(2001-2011)에서 모형의 보완수정 검증을 통해 실무 활용도를 높여 왔다. 본 연구를 통하여 거부감의 원천을 추적해 보고, 타당한 이유가 있는지 대한 것을 심층 분석해보고, CoMOM모형과 시뮬레이션 모형, 다른 최적화 기법들과의 원론적 비교를 통해 각 방법들의 효율적인 활용방안과 최적화모형의 구체적인 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • The land use in suburban area has been changed rapidly due to the urban expansion in Korea during the last few decades. And such land use changes result in various environmental problems such as biodiversity decrease, habitat fragmentation, air pollution and urban heat island. Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) can be used for land cover change detection to understand the impact and trend of the land use change. Change detection is the process of identifying differences in the state of an object or phenomenon by observing it at different times and it can provide quantitative and comparative information for the land use/cover change. RS is less expansive than field survey for producing land use maps, and can be accessed quickly and repetitively for large area. Also it can be used for change detection using multi-temporal land use/cover by accumulated data. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to detect and quantitatively evaluate urban land cover change in urban stream watershed area for the last few decades and ultimately to provide the basic data for urban land use planning and management.

  • 기후 변화 및 환경오염으로 인하여 물부족 국가가 세계적으로 증가하고 있는 추세이며, 특히 집중형 강우의 형태가 많아짐에 따라 홍수피해 및 상수공급의 문제가 사회적으로 큰 이슈가 되고 있다. 최근 20여 년간의 급속한 경제성장과 도시화 과정에서 인도네시아는 인구와 산업의 과도한 도시집중으로 지난 1960-80년대 한국이 산업화 과정에서 겪었던 것보다 훨씬 심각한 환경문제에 직면하고 있으며, 자카르타와 반둥을 포함하는 광역 수도권 지역의 물 부족과 수질 오염, 환경문제가 이미 매우 위험한 수준에 도달하고 있는 실정이다. 특히, 찌따룸강 중상류에 위치한 인도네시아 3대 도시인 반둥시는 고질적인 용수부족 문제를 겪고 있다. 2010년 현재 약 일평균 15 CMS의 용수가 부족한 상황이며, 2030년에는 지속적인 인구증가로 약 23 CMS의 용수가 추가로 더 필요한 것으로 전망된다. 이러한 용수공급 문제 해결을 위해 반둥시 및 찌따룸강 유역관리청은 댐 및 지하수 개발, 유역 간 물이동 등의 구조적인 대책뿐만 아니라 비구조적인 대책으로써 기존 및 신규 저수지 연계운영을 통한 용수이용의 효율성을 높이는 방안을 모색하고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 해당유역의 용수공급 부족 문제를 해소할 수 있는 비구조적인 대책의 일환으로써 다양한 댐 및 보, 소수력 발전, 취수장 등 유역 내 수리 시설물의 운영 최적화를 위한 지능형 물관리 시스템 적용 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 지능형 물관리 시스템은 센서 및 사물 인터넷(Internet of Things, IoT), 네트워크 기술을 바탕으로 시설물 및 운영자, 유관기관 간의 양방향 통신을 통해 유기적인 상호연계 체계를 제공 할 수 있다. 또한 유역의 수문상황과 시설물의 운영현황, 용수공급 및 수요 현황을 실시간으로 확인함으로써 수요에 따른 즉각적인 용수공급량의 조절이 가능하다. 또한, 빅데이터 분석 및 기계학습(Machine Learning)을 통해 개별 물관리 시설물에 대한 최적 운영룰을 업데이트할 수 있으며, 유역의 수문상황과 용수 수요 현황을 고려하여 최적의 용수공급 우선순위를 선정할 수 있다. 지능형 물관리 시스템 개발의 목적은 찌상쿠이 유역의 수문현황을 실시간으로 모니터링하고, 하천시설물의 운영을 분석하여 최적의 용수공급 및 배분을 통해 유역의 수자원 활용 효율성을 향상시키는 데 있다. 이를 위해 수문자료의 수집체계를 구축하고 기관간 정보공유체계를 수립함으로써 분석을 위한 기반 인프라를 구성하며, 이를 기반으로 유역 유출을 비롯한 저수지 운영, 물수지 분석을 수행하고, 분석 및 예측결과, 과거 운영 자료를 토대로 새로운 물관리 시설 운영룰 및 시설물 간 연계운영 방안, 용수공급 우선순위 의사결정 등을 지원하고자 한다. 본 연구의 지능형 물관리 시스템은 통합 DB를 기반으로 수리수문 현상의 모의 분석을 통해 하천 시설물 운영의 합리적 기준을 제시함으로써 다양한 관리주체들의 시설물운영에 대한 이견 및 분쟁을 해소하고, 한정된 수자원과 다양한 수요 간의 효율적이고 합리적인 분배 및 시설물 운영문제를 해결하기 위한 의사결정도구로써 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The Determinats of Infant and Child Mortality in Korea: 1955-1973

  • The historical study reveals that our ancestors had maintained a system which could produce data on the number of population and households as well as on their characteristics. For example, such data on age structure of the population, number of births, number of deaths by age & sex, number of in & out migrants were found in an historical document for the year 755. The main purposes of maintaining the system at that time were taxation and conscription. As the system evolves, another function of identifying the legal status of people was also added. Looking into the figures for those days reveals that ommission rates of the number of population and households were high. Thus, in an effort to obtain a reliable data, the annual population survey system was introduced as of 1 September 1896. This date is now cerebrated as the Statistics Day. Since then, the survey system has been diversified. At the present time, there are three major data sources which produce the statistics on population and households: Civil Registration System (vital statistics), Resident Registratiton System (migration statistics) and Population Census. However, these three systems are found to have some problems to produce the accurate data. There are some inherent problems in the registration systems such as problems in its coverage, accuracies in contents and timeliness in reporting the vital events and publishing the results. The population census has also non-sampling errors such as errors in coverage, response and non-response. Apart from the above mentioned problems, there are also conflicting problems arised from having different three data source. We can find some overlapping problems in laws and difficulties in comparative studies between regions. In the future, these problems should be taken into consideration for the improvement of the quality of statistics on population and households.

A Study on the Magazine Farmer's Life and the Daily Archives (잡지 『농민생활』과 일상 아카이브 연구)

  • Magazines also contain the daily lives of contemporary ordinary people. These characteristics serve as the possibility of daily archives. This study aims to build daily archives by analyzing the contents of the magazine Farmers' Life published in Daejeon for those archival values. To do that, it classified the articles that were published in Farmers' Life for 14 years from 1954 to 1967, it analyzed personal and organizational information, and also it implemented the daily life of farmers and rural society. The conclusion of the analysis on Farmers' Life summarized into following five points. First, the value of Daejeon private archives proved. Second, the personal information of people who were active in various fields of the society identified, and It classified by professional occupations such as politician, professor, agricultural scholar, doctor, and cartoonist, etc. Third, information on the organizations in the agricultural sector was able to collect that of some government organizations, public-private organizations, U.S. aids and 4H organizations. Fourth, certain evidence presented that help to correct the records that recorded wrongly or omitted or in need of speculation in the Christian Magazines, Literature and Art Fields. Fifth, the daily life of rural society and farmers classified into the series and organized into daily archives. This paper presented as a basic database to perceive the rural society and farmers' daily life in the 1950s and 1960s.

The Realities and Practices in the UK's Community Archives Movement (영국 공동체 아카이브 운동의 전개와 실천적 함의)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the present stage of community archives movement in the UK. By doing so, it draws some implications of the UK case for the community archives movement in Korea. The UK's 'Independent' community archives as a part of grassroots movement are characterized by participation, autonomy, and self-help of community members. Along with the appearance of the concept of 'community', the UK has experienced the revitalization period of community archives in the social context of community-based urban regeneration project. Recently, the UK's community archives have transformed themselves into building a 'governance model' relying on the partnership with mainstream archives. In particular, the UK model of community archives is based 'on their own ways' with their autonomy as a product of intrinsic development initiated by communities themselves. The character of the model of this type is very analogous to the nature of maul' community archives movement in Korea. Since the early 2000s, however, the UK model of community archives has been evolving into a way of building governance through their appropriation of the skills and methodologies from mainstream archives without endangering the autonomous essences of community archives themselves. We need to note the point of local researchers' view in archival science who have tried to seek out the methodology for building maul community archives with regard to openness and collaboration. In this respect, a shift in archival principle in the UK would give significant implications in regenerating the locally based community model.

  • In this study, some of the contents of the sentence " Ti-Yu zhi Yan-Jiu " written by young man Mao Ze Dong were directly interpreted and examined, and it was intended to summarize what the reasons for this sport, which influenced the formation of his sports thoughts in the future, had on sports development in modern China. As a research method, the original text "Ti-Yu zhi Yan-Jiu" contains young man Mao Ze Dong's unique thoughts on physical education some of the introductions and Articles 2 and 6 of the main text are mainly cited and excerpted. In conclusion, in this sentence, Mao Ze dong summarized that physical education is the way to overcome virtue and knowledge, and active physical education activities accelerate individual self-realization. First, he is a physical education in Salvation is the purpose of the evils of physical education at the time and that actual physical education must be a story, and make some comments. Second, identity theory, he suggested Mental and physical unity. Third, in accordance with the practice was unusually simple and practical, representatively, the six physical fitness practices suggested in "Ti-Yu zhi Yan-Jiu" are important examples.

A Historical study on the Characteristics of Ramyun in Korea : Focusing on a content analysis of advertisement from 1963 to 2012 (한국 라면의 시대별 특성에 관한 연구 :1963~2012년 광고 내용분석을 중심으로)

  • To research the changes of Ramyun in Korea, this paper was went over an historical study through the content analysis of ads. from 1963 to 2012. The study period was divided into 6 stages based on GNI(Gross National Income). The advertisements were classified into new advertisements and all ones, and the advertisements of new Ramyun were categorized with 4 ways. And the most emphasized messages of advertisements and advertising models of each periods were also examined. The total number of new advertisements was 185(3.7/y) and 650 total advertisements(13.7/year). The most emphasized messages were changed from 'taste' and 'high calorie' to 'noodles', 'function(specific nutrition)'. The advertising models were actors, comedians, popular singers, in turn. The 1960's was the period when the fewest new products were advertised to consumers most often. 1980-1996 was the period when the most new products were advertised the most. During the depresseions, all ads were more frequently and new ads were lower advertised. Above results, each period was named as follow, respectively ; the Expansion period(1963~1969), the Set-up period(1970~1979), the Competition period (1980~1987), the Bipolarization period(1988~1997), the Transition period(1998~2003), the Stabilization period(2004~2012).

A Study on 3D Scan Technology for Find Archetype of Youngbeokji in Seongnagwon Garden (성락원 영벽지의 원형 파악을 위한 3D 스캔기술 연구)

  • This study on circular identifying purposes was performed of Youngbeokji space located in Seongnagwon(Scenic Sites No.35). Through the data acquisition of 3D high precision, such as the surrounding terrain of the Youngbeokji. The results of this study is summarized like the following. First, the purpose of the stone structures and structure within the Youngbeokji search is an important clue to find that earlier era will be a prototype. 3D scan method of enforcement is searching the whole structure, including the surrounding terrain and having the easy way. Second, the measurement results are as follows. Department of bedrock surveyed from South to North was measured by 7,665mm. From East to West was measured at 7,326mm. The size of the stone structures, $1,665mm{\times}1,721mm$ in the form of a square. Its interior has a diameter of 1, 664mm of hemispherical form. In the lower portion of the rock masses in the South to the North, has fallen out of the $1,006mm{\times}328mm$ scale traces were discovered. Third, the Youngbeokji recorded in the internal terrain Multiresolution approach. After working with the scanner and scan using the scan data, broadband, to merge.   • Having started with "Space War", the first game produced by MIT in the 1960's, the gaming industry expanded rapidly and grew to a large size over a short period of time: the brand new games being launched on the market are found to contain many different elements making up a single content in that it is often called the 'the most comprehensive ultimate fruits' of the design technologies. This also translates into a large increase in the number of things which need to be considered in developing games, complicating the plans on the financial budget, the work force, and the time to be committed. Therefore, an approach for analyzing the elements which make up a game, computing the importance of each of them, and assessing those games to be developed in the future, is the key to a successful development of games. Many decision-making activities are often required under such a planning process. The decision-making task involves many difficulties which are outlined as follows: the multi-factor problem; the uncertainty problem impeding the elements from being "quantified" the complex multi-purpose problem for which the outcome aims confusion among decision-makers and the problem with determining the priority order of multi-stages leading to the decision-making process. In this study we plan to suggest AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) so that these problems can be worked out comprehensively, and logical and rational alternative plan can be proposed through the quantification of the "uncertain" data. The analysis was conducted by taking FPS (First Person Shooting) which is currently dominating the gaming industry, as subjects for this study. The most important consideration in conducting AHP analysis is to accurately group the elements of the subjects to be analyzed objectively, and arrange them hierarchically, and to analyze the importance through pair-wise comparison between the elements. The study is composed of 2 parts of analyzing these elements and computing the importance between them, and choosing an alternative plan. Among these this paper is particularly focused on the Delphi technique-based objective element analyzing and hierarchy of the FPS games.
