서울지역 일부 고등학생의 지방산 섭취 패턴과 혈청 지질 및 혈청 지방산 조성에 관한 연구 (Studies on Fatty Acid Intake Patterns, Serum Lipids and Serum Fatty Acid Compositions of High School Students in Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the pattern of individual fatty acid intake and to compare serum lipid levels and total serum fatty acid composition of high school students in Seoul (total : 234 ; male : 91 ; female : 143) In serum lipid levels, total cholesterol (Chol.), HDL-Chol. and LDL-Chol. levels of female students were significantly higher than those of male students and there was no significant difference between High Fish & Low Meat intake (HFLM) and Low Fish & High Meat intake (LFHM) groups. The average fat intake was 22-25 energy % of total subjects and especially, that of LFHM group was 29%, which were over the recommendation level. Although the average P/M/S ratio of dietary fat was 1.1/1.2/1.0, the average range of $\omega6/\omega3$ fatty acid ratio of dietary fat was found to be 17.9-20.7, which was far beyond the suggested range, 4-10. The average intake of cholesterol of total subjects was 360mg. LFHM group had more meats and beverages such as carbonated drinks and tended to have less beans, vegetables and mushrooms. In addition, LFHM group had more energy and fat intake than those of HFLM group, the P/S ratio of dietary fat (0.73) was lower than the recommended ratio. Serum C16 : 0 composition of LFHM group was significantly higher than that of HFLM group, and EPA and DHA composition of HFLM was significantly lower than that of LFHM. Therefore, in HFLM group, the P/S ratio of serum fatty acids was significantly higher and the $\omega6/\omega3$ ratio was lower. Dietary C18 : 0 was negatively correlated with serum EPA and DHA composition. Individual PUFA intake was negatively correlated with serum C16 : 0 and sum of SFA, and positively correlated with serum C18 : $2\omega6(LA)\;,\;sum\;o;\omega6$ and sum of PUFA. Serum C18 : 1, C18 : $3\omega3\; and\; C20\;:\;4\omega6$ (AA) compositions were not correlated with dietary fatty acid. Only serum triglyceride (TG) levels were significantly correlated with serum fatty acid compositions. Sum of SFA, C14 : 0, C16 : 0, sum of MUFA and C18 : 1 compositions were positively correlated with serum TG levels, but LA, AA, sum of PUFA and P/S ratio were negatively correlated with it.

  • The advantages of hydrogen peroxide dissolution method were no discharge of noxious matter when dissolution of molybdenum wire which used as the center supporter, reactions occur in room temperature. The results were as follows : 1. In the FL/10-A type: Dissolution-reaction Time was 50Min., C.R.(Coil resistance) was $9.27{\Omega}(St.{\;}:{\;}9.2{\pm}0.22{\Omega})$, P.W.(Piece weight) was $10.59mg(St.{\;}:{\;}10.5{\pm}0.26mg)$. In the FL/15-D type: Dissolution-reaction Time was 55Min., C.R. was $6.39{\Omega}(St.{\;}:{\;}6.38{\pm}0.02{\Omega})$, P.W. was $16.7mg(St.{\;}:{\;}16.5{\pm}0.3mg)$. In the FL/20-H type: Dissolution-reaction Time was 45Min., C.R. was $4.7{\Omega}(St.{\;}:{\;}4.6{\pm}0.3{\Omega})$, P.W. was $20.8mg(St.{\;}:{\;}20{\pm}1.5mg)$. In the FL/20-C type: Dissolution-reaction Time was 60Min., C.R. was $4.5{\Omega}(St.{\;}:{\;}4.6{\pm}0.3{\Omega})$, P.W. was $19.8mg(St.{\;}:{\;}19{\pm}1.0mg)$. 2. In the GLS-230/40-B type: Dissolutiona-reaction Time was 45Min., C.R. was $105.1{\Omega}(St.{\;}:{\;}104{\pm}2.6{\Omega})$, P.W was $6.37mg(St.{\;}:{\;}6.3{\pm}0.16mg)$. In the GLS-230/60-F type: Dissolution- reaction Time was 45Min., C.R. was $65.92{\Omega}(St.{\;}:{\;}65{\pm}1.62{\Omega})$, P.W. was $11.91mg(St.{\;}:{\;}11.8{\pm}0.29mg)$.

케일녹즙이 고콜레스테롤혈증 성인남자의 혈청 지질수준 및 인지질 지방산 조성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Kale Juice on Serum Lipid Levels & Phospholipid Fatty Acid Composition in Hypercholesterolemic Men)

  • 고콜레스테롤혈증(총 콜레스테롤 농도 200 mg/dl 이상)인 성인 남자를 대상으로 12주간 케일녹즙 중재실험을 실시하여 실험 전과 후의 혈청 지질농도와 혈청 인지질 지방산 조성의 변화를 살펴보았다. 혈청 총 콜레스테롤 및 중성지방 농도는 녹즙 섭취 전과 후에 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았으나 HDL-콜레스테롤 농도는 녹즙 섭취 후 유의하게 증가하였고, LDL-콜레스테롤은 유의하게 감소하였으며 atherogenic index 역시 녹즙 섭취 후 유의하게 감소하였다. 대상자들은 녹즙 섭취 전 후로 BMI, 허리둘레, 혈압 등의 신체계측치와 흡연, 음주 등의 생활습관 및 영양소 섭취패턴에 유의한 변화 없이 12주 중재실험기간 동안 평상시 생활패턴을 유지하였다. 실험에 사용된 녹즙에 섬유소가 거의 함유되어있지 않으므로 혈청지질 개선효과는 녹즙에 풍부한 항산화 영양소에 의한 효과로 사료된다. 녹즙섭취 후에 유의한 변화를 보인 혈청 인지질 지방산 조성 중에서 12:0, 14:0, $18:1{\omega}9$, $18:3{\omega}6$ 조성 및 총 단일불포화지방산 조성은 증가하고 $22:4{\omega}6$ 조성은 감소하였다. 특히 올레산($18:1{\omega}9$) 조성은 55~58% 증가하였는데 다중불포화지방산 못지않게 혈중 콜레스테롤 농도를 감소시켜주며, 다중불포화지방산보다 LDL의 산화를 감소시켜 동맥경화증이나 관상심장질환의 위험을 줄여주는 지방산으로 알려져 있다. 12주간의 녹즙섭취는 혈청 인지질의 지방산 조성은 크게 변화시키지 않지만 궁극적으로 지방조직의 지방산 조성에 변화를 초래하고 이로 인해 고콜레스테롤 환자의 혈중 지질농도를 개선시켜줄 것으로 사료된다.

  • 5Gb/s대역 크로스커플 구조의 트랜스임피던스 증폭기 및 제한증폭기가 연결된 광 수신기를 광 PCB에 응용하기 위해 설계 하였다. 회로는 0.18um CMOS 공정으로 구현되었다. 광 수신기는 0.5pF 광 다이오드 기생 캐퍼시턴스에서 $92.8db{\Omega}$ 임피던스 이득과 5Gbps의 주파수 대역을 갖는다. 그리고 1.8V, 2.4V 공급전압에서 9.74mV의 전력소모를 보인다. 입력단의 임피던스는 $50{\Omega}$ 이다. 회로를 광 PCB기판에 올려 광신호 송신 실험하여 5Gb/s 데이터의 수신을 확인하였다.

  • 연안해역에서 호기성 광합성 세균 Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$I를 분리 및 동정하여 rotifer, Brachionus plicatilis의 먹이로 투여하였을 때 개체수, 체장, 체중 및 지방산 조성과 아미노산 조성을 분석한 결과를 요약하면 아래와 같다. 1. Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$ 은 지방산의 함량중 $C_{18:1\omega9}$$36.5\%,\;C_{18:1\omega7}$$13.3\%\;C_{18:3\omega3}\;8.6\%$ 함유하였고 아미노산은 glutamic acid가 $61.6\;mg\%$, aspartic acid가 $45.2\;mg\%$, alanine이 $43.7\;mg\%$, lysine이 $28.7\;mg\%$ 등 높은 함량을 보였다. 2. Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$을 rotifer, Brachionus plicatilis에 투여했을 때 (초기 개체수 5개체/$m\ell$) 개체수는 5일째 9개체/$m\ell$, 9일째 20개체/$m\ell$, 13일째는 43개체/$m\ell$로 증가하였다. 또한 체중은 초기 140ng/개체에서 5일째 280ng/개체, 9일째 560ng/개체, 13일째 610ng/개체로 증가하였으며, 체장은 초기 $150{\pm}7{\mu}m\;(length),\;85{\pm}14{\mu}m\;(width)$에서 5일째 $160{\pm}18{\mu}m\;(length),\;92{\pm}15{\mu}m\;(width)$, 9일째 $170{\pm}17{\mu}m\;(length),\;94{\pm}14{\mu}m\;(width)$, 13일째는 $184{\pm}17{\mu}m\;(length),\;100{\pm}12{\mu}m\;(width)$로 성장하였다. 3. Rotifer 개체당 24시간내에 $10^4\~10^5$개체의 세균을 섭취하였다. 4. Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$을 rotifer에 먹이로 투여했을때 EPA, DHA가 증가하였다. 비교실험에 사용한 Chlorella sp. PSB, yeast에 비하여 EPA와 DHA의 함량이 높았다. 특히DBHA는 $S\;\pi-I$과 Chlorella sp.에서만 분석되었으며 $S\;\pi-I$이 높았다. 5. Erythrobacter sp. $S\;\pi-I$과 비교로서 PSB, Chlorella sp., yeast를 rotifer에 먹이로 투여했을 때 $S\;\pi-I$에서 lysine이 가장 높았고, PSB, Chlorellaal sp. 순으로 분석되었다. yeast에서는 검출되지 않았다.

  • The contents of total lipids from Korean marine benthic algae Miyeok(Undaria pinnatifida) and Pare(Enteromorpha compressa)were 1.8% and 0.7% on the dry basis, respectively. They were fractionated by silicic acid column chromatography and identified by gae liquid chromatography. The ratios of neutral lipids, glycolipids and phospholipids in total lipids were 3.5 : 74.1 : 22.4 in Miyeok and 33.1 : 48.4 : 18.5 in Pare. Total fatty acids in Miyeok and Pare were composed of 28.5 and 33.2% of saturates, 9.8 and 10.8% of monoenes, 61.7 and 56.0% of polyenes, respectively and the polyunsaturated acid was the most predominent component. $\omega$-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids were C18:4(15.9 and 17.1%) and C20:5(10.6 and 6.0%).

Chemometric Approach to Fatty Acid Profiles in Soybean Cultivars by Principal Component Analysis (PCA)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the fatty acid profiles in 18 soybean cultivars grown in Korea. A total of eleven fatty acids were identified in the sample set, which was comprised of myristic (C14:0), palmitic (C16:0), palmitoleic (C16:1, ${\omega}7$), stearic (C18:0), oleic (C18:1, ${\omega}9$), linoleic (C18:2, ${\omega}6$), linolenic (C18:3, ${\omega}3$), arachidic (C20:0), gondoic (C20:1, ${\omega}9$), behenic (C22:0), and lignoceric (C24:0) acids by gas-liquid chromatography with flame ionization detector (GC-FID). Based on their color, yellow-, black-, brown-, and green-colored cultivars were denoted. Correlation coefficients (r) between the nine major fatty acids identified (two trace fatty acids, myristic and palmitoleic, were not included in the study) were generated and revealed an inverse association between oleic and linoleic acids (r=-0.94, p<0.05), while stearic acid was positively correlated to arachidic acid (r=0.72, p<0.05). Principal component analysis (PCA) of the fatty acid data yielded four significant principal components (PCs; i.e., eigenvalues>1), which together account for 81.49% of the total variance in the data set; with PC1 contributing 28.16% of the total. Eigen analysis of the correlation matrix loadings of the four significant PCs revealed that PC1 was mainly contributed to by oleic, linoleic, and gondoic acids, PC2 by stearic, linolenic and arachidic acids, PC3 by behenic and lignoceric acids, and PC4 by palmitic acid. The score plots generated between PC1-PC2 and PC3-PC4 segregated soybean cultivars based on fatty acid composition.

박과식물(科植物) 종자유(種子油)의 지방산(脂肪酸) 조성(組成) (Studies on the Fatty Acid Composition of Lipids from Some Seeds of the Cucurbitaceae Family)

  • 박과식물(科植物) 종실(種實)에는 총지질량(總脂質量)이 $21.9{\sim}50.7%$의 범위(範圍)로 비교적(比較的높았으며, 특(特)히 박, 하늘타리의 경우는 41.9%와 50.7%로 조사(調査)한 시료(試料)중에 제일 높았으며, 또 모든 시료(試料)가 약(約) 98% 이상(以上)의 중성지질(中性脂質)을 함유(含有)하고 있었다. 호박, 수세미오이, 수박, 참외, 오이 및 박종자(種子)의 총지질(總脂質)에는 리놀산(酸)의 함량(含量)이 제일(第一) 많아 $56.8{\sim}84.0%$이였으며, ${\alpha}$-리놀레산(酸)의 함량(含量)은 0.0${\sim}$0.6%로 매우 적었고, 올레산(酸)이 주성분(主成分)인 모노엔산(酸)과 팔미트산(酸)이 대부분(大部分)인 포화지방산(飽和脂肪酸)은 그 함량(含量)이 각각(各各) 5.7${\sim}$22.2%와 9.9${\sim}$20.6%로 시료(試料)에 따라 심한 차이(差異)를 보였다. 하늘타리 종자(種子)의 총지질(總脂質)에는 $C_{18:2{\omega}6}$$_{9c.11t.13c-}C_{18:3}$(Punicic acid)이 40.5%와 34.9%로 주요(主要) 성분(成分)이였고, 그 다음으로 $C_{18:1{\omega}9$가 13.8% 함유(含有)되어 있었으며, 그러나 $_{9c/11t.13t-}C_{18:3}$(${\alpha}-eleostearic$ acid)는 2.2%에 지나지 않았다. 한편 여주의 경우(境遇)에는 $_{9c.11t.13c-}C_{18:3}$이 66.9%로 제일(第一) 많았으며, 그 다음으로 $C_{18:1{\omega}9$$C_{18:1{\omega}6$이 17.7%, 10.4% 각각(各各) 함유(含有)되어 있었고, 하늘타리에 많이 함유(含有)되어 있는 $_{9c.11t.13c}-C_{18:3}$$_{9t.11t.13c-}C_{18:3}$(${\beta}-eleostearic$ acid)와 함께 1.1% 정도(程度)로 소량(少量) 포함(包含)되어 있었다. ${9c.11t.13c-}C_{18:3}$$_{9c.11t.13t-}C_{18:3}$와 같은 conugate trienoic acid는 여타시료(餘他試料)에서는 전연 검출(檢出)되지 않았다. 하늘타리와 여주의 종자유(種子油)의 극성지질(極性脂質)에는 이틀의 중성지질(中性脂質)에 다량(多量)으로 존재(存在)하는 conjugate trienoic acid가 극(極)히 소량(少量)밖에 존재(存在)하지 않는 것은 매우 특징적(特徵的)이며, 포화지방산(飽和脂肪酸)이 중성지질(中性脂質)(9.9${\sim}$20.6%)에 비(比)하여 극성지질(極性脂質)(25.0${\sim}$29.4%) 에 보다 많이 함유(含有)되어 있다는 사실(事實)을 나머지 시료(試料)에서 공통적(共通的)으로 찾아볼 수 있었다. 박과식물(科植物) 종자(種子)는 리놀산(酸)을 많이 함유(含有)하고 있는 군(群)과, $_{9c.11t.13c}-C_{18:3}$$_{9c.11t.13t-}C_{18:3}$와 같은 conjugate trienoic acid를 가진 군(群)으로 대별(大別)할 수 있었다.

온도센서용 Pt박막 측온저항체의 전기적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Electrical Properties of Pt Thin film RTD for Temperature Sensor)

  • Pt thin film of about 7000$\AA$ thickness was deposited on the alumina substrate using DC Magnetron Sputter and the characteristics of the film for temperature sensor were investigated. When film of about 7000$\AA$ thickness was deposited at working gas pressure of $2.0{\times}10^{-3}$torr, sputtering power of 50W, substrate temperature of $350^{\circ}C$(Ts), sheet resistance(Rs), resistivity($\rho$) and temperature coefficient of resistivity(TCR) of the film were respectively 0.39$\Omega$/$\square$, 27.60$\mu\Omega$-cm and $3350 ppm/^{\circ}C$. When the film was annealed at $1000^{\circ}C$ for 240min in hydrogen ambient, Rs, $\rho$ and TCR were respectively 0.236$\Omega$/$\square$, 15.18$\mu\Omega$-cm and 3716 ppm/$3716 ppm/^{\circ}C$. When working gas of 15sccm oxygen and 100sccm Argon were used, Rs, $\rho$ and TCR were respectively 0.335$\Omega$/$\square$, 22.45$\mu\Omega$-cm and $3427 ppm/^{\circ}C$. When the film was annealed at $1000^{\circ}C$ for 240min, Rs, $\rho$and TCR were respectively 0.224/$\Omega$$\square$, 14$\mu\Omega$-cm and $3760 ppm/^{\circ}C$ and the characteristics of the film were much improved.

Effects of Flaxseed Diets on Fattening Response of Hanwoo Cattle : 2. Fatty Acid Composition of Serum and Adipose Tissues

  • Two separate trials were designed to determine effects of dietary level of whole flaxseed (WFS) on fatty acid composition of serum, and subcutaneous, perirenal, intermuscular, and intramuscular adipose tissues of Korean Hanwoo cattle. Twentyone bulls (trial 1) and 15 cows (trial 2) were assigned to diets containing 0, 10 or 15% WFS. Relative treatment effects were similar between bulls and cows. The proportion of C18:3 in serum and to a lesser extent in adipose tissues were increased by dietary inclusion of WFS, reflecting supplemented lipid composition of WFS that escaped ruminal biohydrogenation. Animals fed WFS had a lower proportion of saturated fatty acids in serum and adipose tissues than animals fed diets without WFS, while the opposite trend was observed in unsaturated fatty acids with little differences between two WFS groups. WFS-fed animals had higher proportions of C18:1, 18:2, 18:3, 20:3, and 22:3 and lower proportions of C12:0, 14:0, 16:0 and 18:0 in intramuscular fat than animals fed diets without WFS. Furthermore, feeding WFS increased proportions of both $\omega$-3 and $\omega$-6 fatty acids but decreased the ratio of $\omega$-6/$\omega$-3 substantially. In conclusion, feeding WFS can be an effective method of increasing absorption of unsaturated fatty acids, and subsequent deposition in adipose tissues.
