The present study provides the compressive design allowable of a unidirectional glass/epoxy composite laminate processed by wet lay-up at room temperature. The compressive strength values measured from 39 specimens have been assumed to follow the two-parameter Weibull distribution. Following the statistical guidelines provided by MIL-HDBK-17F, the B-basis and A-basis values of the aforementioned laminate are found to be 82.6% and 65.9%, of the mean compressive strength, respectively. The B-basis value is then discounted further at 50% for the in-situ application on the main wing spar caps of an experimental canard aircraft.

In this paper, we fabricated sheet-type EM wave absorbers for mobile phones by using sendusts and tested EM wave absorption of it. The band-width of EM wave absorbers coated with $Al_2O_3$ were larger than non-coated EM wave absorbers. Particle size decreased with increasing milling time, which made the result of increasing of EM wave absorption. The fabricated EM wave absorbers show a reflection coefficient 17.4 dB at 946 MHz for a 4 mm sample and 5 dB at 1.8 GHz for a 1 mm sample.

Mt. Seokseong is located $37^{\circ}15'15'{\sim}37^{\circ}17'00'N$ in latitude at $127^{\circ}09'30'{\sim}127^{\circ}11'00'E$ in longitude in Yongin-si. As the result of cluster analysis, B site has 170 taxa of vascular plants, so it is the most abundant site in this area. And C site has 140 taxa of that, it is secondly abundant. But it has the highest similarity index (53.7%) between A site and B site. To construct natural resort for residents, it needed make thorned park just as hiking course, woods bathing site, aquatic place, pebble path, and natural garden path. And to protect ecological isolation of this area ecobridges must be constructed at Myeokjogogae and at Yongin Medical Hospital.

Gene expressions of cytochrome P4501A (CYP1A), aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) and vitellogenin (Vg) by endocrine disruptors, benzo[${\alpha}$]pyrene (B[a]P) and tributyltin (TBT) were examined in cultured eel hepatocytes which were isolated from eels treated previously with B[a]P (10 mg/kg) or estradiol-$17{\beta}$ (20 mg/kg) in vivo, and the relationship between CYP1A, AhR and Vg genes were studied. When the cultured eel hepatocytes were treated with B[a]P ($10^{-6}-10^{-5}M$) the gene expressions of CYP1A and AhR were enhanced in a concentration-dependent manner. However, when treated with TBT ($10^{-9}-10^{-5}M$) the gene expressions of CYP1A and AhR were suppressed at high concentrations ($10^{-6}-10^{-5}M$), while having no effects at low concentrations ($10^{-9}-10^{-7}M$). Gene expression of Vg was also suppressed by TBT in a concentration-dependent manner in cultured eel hepatocytes which was previously treated in vivo with estradiol-$17{\beta}$.

Calculating or estimating the proper insurance premium is very important decision making process for both the policyholder and the insurance company. The credibility theory is one of the most important theories in actuarial science to get the proper premium. In this research, we introduce the rule of relative exposure volume, the square root rule and the B$\ddot{u}$hlmann credibility, and estimate the new premiums based on these methods. By real data analysis, the accuracy of these credibility methods are compared.

The effects of vaselin, silver sulfadiazine and propolis on healing of full-thickness skin defects were evaluated in rabbits. Two wounds measuring 2{times}2cm$ were created bilaterally (4 wounds/rabbit) on the dorsolateral aspect of the trunk of 17 Ne Zealand white. Wound treatments were evenly distributed 4 sites, using a Latin square design. Treatments evaluated were: vaselin(group A), silver sulfadiazine(group B), 5% propolis (group C) and 10% propolis(group D). On days 3, 7 and 14, mean percentage of wound in group A, B, and C. On days 21 and 28, mean percentage of wound contraction in group D were significantly higher than those of groups B and C, but were not higher than that of group A. Microscopically fibersis and epithelialization were noticed on days 14 and 28 after wounding in all group. Rates of fibrosis of collagen fiber and epithelialization of groups C and D were exceeded those of groups A and B. All wounds in all group achieved 100% healing during the 28-day study period. Results indicate that use of propolis as would ointment on full-thickness skin wounds in rabbits increase rate of healing.

The conventional Rotman lens antenna using a waveguide lens has the bended waveguide from the inner lens contour to the antenna element. However in this paper the improved Rotman lens antenna having a straight waveguide is proposed. By applying this technique, the beam steering antenna for BMWS application which has 3 input ports and 6 antenna elements consisted of open-ended waveguide has been designed and fabricated. From the measurement, the gain of the beam steering antenna is 15.4 ~ 17.2 dB. The direction angle is 0$^{\circ}$, +14$^{\circ}$~ +16$^{\circ}$, -15$^{\circ}$~ -16$^{\circ}$ and the side lobe level is -l0 ~ 20 dB.

In this paper, a interdigital microstrip bandpass filter is designed. A interdigital microstrip bandpass filter has many advantages such as insertion return loss, lower return loss, higher frequency selectivity and smaller in size in comparison with the conventional coupled line filter. A interdigital microstrip bandpass filter consists of quasi TEM-mode strip line resonators between parallel ground plant. Each resonator element is a quarter wavelength long of the center frequency and is short circuited at one end and open circuited at the other end. In the filter design, Ensemble software is used. Experimental results show that the bandwidth of interdigital microstrip bandpass filter is 2.52GHz, insertion loss is -1.8dB and return loss is -17.0dB at 11.20Hz.

Tetra-tert-butyl-tetrapropionycalix (4) arena (C56H7208) is Triclinic, space group Pl, with a=13.664(5), b=17.585(5), c=12.863(2)A, a=109.33(2), B=111.97(2), γ=76.45(3) ˚, Z=2, V=2684.08A3, D, =1.152g/cm3, Dm=1.15g/cm3. The intensity data were collected on an Enraf-Nonius CAD-4 Diffractometer with a graphite monochromated Mo-Ka radiation. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by leastsquares methods. The final R factor was 0.084 for 2561 observed reflections. The configuration of the molecule from the X-ray crystallographic investigation has the partial cone conformation, three tort-butylphenyls are down and a tort-butylphenyl is up. Three propionyloxy groups direct toward the exterior of the macrocycle cavity.

A high-performance wideband transition from double-sided parallel-stripline (DSPSL) to coplanar stripline (CPS) is proposed. This transition is designed by consideration of gradual field transformation and optimal impedance matching between DSPSL and CPS. Clear design guidelines of proposed transition are provided to determine the ground shape and the transition length. The fabricated transition exhibits less than 0.7 dB insertion loss per transition for frequencies from 6.2 to 18.2 GHz, and less than 1.25 dB insertion loss to over 30 GHz.
