Studies on the Major Factors Affecting the Population of the Overwintered Pine Needle Gall Midge, Thecodiplosis japonensis Uchida et Inouye (솔잎혹파리의 월동후(越冬後) 밀도변동(密度變動)에 미치는 주요인자(主要因子)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究))

  • Periodical samplings were made in the fields, located Hwasong-Gun, Banwal-Myon, Doondai-Ri, for two years to study the major factors responsible to the population of the overwintered pine needle gall midge, Thecodiplosis japonensis Uchida et Inouye. The population densities of the overwintered larvae reduced greatly at the time of pupation and the changing patterns seemed to be influenced by environmental conditions. The estimated 50% pupation day was about two weeks earlier for the 1980 generation compared with the 1979 generation, and much higher average and the daily maximum temperatures in 1981 affected on the development of the larvae. The relative emergence rates were 14.1% for 1979 and 14.9% for 1980 generation. The relative emergence rates(Y) were affected by the moisture contents of soil ($X_1$) and its variance $(X_2),\;Y=-68.41+4.3206X_1-0.6887X_2$. The relative emergence rates seemed to be decreased with the increased variance of the moisture contents of soil. Percents of needle gall were 49.63% for 1980 and 86.87% for 1981 generation.

  • 최근 모바일 스마트 기가 및 서비스의 새로운 패러다임 진화에 따른 초연결(Hyper connection) 사회로의 진입과 빅데이터 출현으로 인해, 모바일 트래픽은 해마다 2배씩 증가하여 10년 뒤 1,000배 이상 증가할 것으로 예상하고 있으며, 이처럼 급격히 증가하는 모바일 트래픽 증가로 인해 모바일 망 사업자의 부담이 가중되고 있다. 추가 주파수 확보가 제한된 기존의 4G 이동통신으로는 이러한 모바일 트래픽 폭증에 따른 1,000배 용량 증대를 수용할 수 없고, 따라서 광대역폭 확보가 가능한 밀리미터파 기반의 5세대 이동통신 기술 개발이 전 세계적으로 시작되고 있다. 본고에서는 비/저활용 되어 왔던 밀리미터파를 개척하여 5세대 이동통신 기술로 활용하는 기술 개발 동향을 살펴본다. 특히, 한국전자통신연구원에서 진행하고 있는 '중추 네트워크 원전기술 개발 과제' 내용을 중점적으로 소개하고자 한다.

Clinical Usefulness of Thyrotropin Binding Inhibitor Immunoglobulin (TBII) Assay by the Comparative Method (측정법에 따른 갑상선자극호르몬 결합억제면역글로블린(TBII)의 임상적 유용성 검토)

  • Purpose: Detection of TSH-binding inhibitor immunoglobulin (TBII) in patients with hyperthyroidism is an important result of Graves' disease (GD) and hyperthyroidism treatment. This has been made out an inspection by commercial radio-receptor assays. To increase the sensitivity and the specificity of the assay, many results of the assay were reported. In this study we evaluated the clinical usetulness of TBII assays by the Comparative method. Material and Methods: We were measured by using healthy control group (n=30, male=20, female=10) of Seoul National University Hospital Healthcare System Gangnam Center from January to March in 2009. Similarly, We were measured by using hyperthyroid (TSH<$0.05\;{\mu}IU/mL$, FT4>1.80 ng/dL) experimental group (n=58, male=14, female=44) of division of endocrinology and metabolism department of internal medicine Seoul National University Hospital from January to March in 2009. We made a comparative study of each two assays from the first generation to the third generation. We were used of TSAb assay as a measurement of GD diagnostic technique. Results: The specificity of healthy control group was 100% according to the generation. (Specificity=100%, n=30) The sensitivity of hyperthyroid experimental group were the first generation RSR<%> (79.3%, n=58), RSR (51.7%, n=58), the second generation RSR-CT (93.1%, n=58), BRAHMSCT (98.3%, n=58), the third generation ELISA (94.6%, n=56), ECLIA (97.7%, n=58) and TS-Ab<%> (93.5%, n=46). Conclusion: We were used of TSAb assay as a measurement of GD diagnostic technique, The result of data showed a high correlation between the third generation TBII assay and the second generation TBII assay ($R^2$=0.923). Instead of the first generation assay, the second generation assay can be more useful in clincal diagnosis.

THE STUDY ON THE MICROLEAKAGE OF THE RESTORATION WITH SELF-ETCHING PRIMING/BONDING AGENT (Self-etching priming/bonding agent를 이용한 수복에서 microleakage에 관한 연구)

  • Self-etching priming bonding system was recently developed in order to simplify the clinical skills & save chair time after continuous improvements on dentin bonding agents. To test the magnitude of microleakage of a new "self-etching priming bonding agent" using sound premolar 4th, 5th, 6th generation dentin bonding agent was applied. Measure the magnitude of infiltration to the gap of enamel-restoration interface and dentin-restoration interface. After bonding of composite resin to sample surfaces according to the manufactures direction and 500 times thermocycling on dwell time 30 second, and microleakage was measured by the ratio of the depth to the axial wall and the magnitude of infiltration. Afterward analyzed by ANOVA test. The result were as follows ; 1. Enamel groups showed lesser microleakage (Group I, II, III, IV) than dentin groups(Group V, VI, VII, VIII). (p<0.05) 2. There are no statical differences among the dentin groups, in enamel groups, group IV showed more microleakage than group I, II, III. (p<0.05). For a clinical acceptance, better enamel marginal adaptation is required.

차세대 성장동력으로서의 해양구조물 및 장비 기술

  • 현재 우리나라는 1995년 국민소득 1만불 진입 이후 8년간 1만불 장벽을 넘지 못하고 있으며 그 동안 국가 성장동력의 바탕을 이룩해 온 기간산업 경쟁력의 둔화와 선진국과의 기술격차는 줄어들지 않는 한편 중국 등 후발국가의 추격이 거세지고 있는 상황에 있다. 이에 따라 내부적으로 미래에 대한 확고한 비젼 부재상태를 극복함과 동시에 1인당 국민소득 2만불 대의 선진경제로의 도약을 위한 "새로운 성장동력의 창출"이란 국가적 명제를 안게 되었다. 정부는 이를 위해 2003년 5월 말 주력 기간산업, 미래 유망사업, 지식기반 서비스산업 등 3개 분야에서 총 60개의 차세대 성장품목을 발굴하고 산업군별로 종합적인 발전전략을 수립하였으며 이 중 조선$.$해양산업은 주력 기간 산업군에서 고부가가치 선박, 디지털기반 조선컨텐츠, 해양부체 강구조물의 3개 항목이 이에 포함되었다. 이후 10대 차세대 성장동력 산업(표 1) 선정과정에서 조선$.$해양산업이 이에 명시적 포함되지는 않았으나 지능형 로봇분야와 e-Biz/지능형 물류에 부분적으로 연계되어 있고 산자부에서는 조선$.$해양산업을 포함한 10개 주력 기간산업별 기획단을 구성하여 차세대 성장동력 기획단과 함께 연구기획을 통하여 산업기술혁신 5개년 계획에 반영하는 것으로 알려져 있다[1]. Stable Transmission and Expression of TPO Transgene up to 10 Generation in the Transgenic Mice (형질전환 생쥐에서 제10세대까지 TPO 유전자의 안정적 전이와 지속적인 발현)

  • The pBT-L transgenic mice carrying human TPO gene in conjunction with bovine $\beta$-casein promoter express human TPO in milk during lactation. In this study, stability of germ line transmission and expression of pBT-L transgene integrated into host chromosome were monitored up to generation F10 of transgenic pBT-L/15 line. When male mouse of generation F8 was crossbred with normal females, approximately half of offsprings (51.3$\pm$18.98%) were identified as transgenic mice. Generation F9 and F 10 mice also showed similar transmission rates (43.8$\pm$18.98% and 71.4$\pm$26.98%, respectively), implying that pBT-L transgene can be transmitted stably up to long term generation in the transgenic mice. Expression levels of human TPO from milk of generation F9 and F10 mice were 1.1$\pm$0.33 mg/ml and 1.1 $\pm$0.45 mg/ml, respectively, which are similar to expression level of generation F2 mice. In conclusion, our results suggest that transgenic animals once established will continuously pass their transgenes to the progeny through the breeding program with the same productivity of human protein in their milk.

  • In this experiment, gene action were analyzed for seven silkworm varieties in order to obtain basic information on their genetic improvement by diallel crosses. The results obtained were summarized as follows : In F1 generation, over-dominance was shown by Vr-Wr graphic analysis in four characters such as cocoon length in female, bave weight, cocoon weight and boiling off ratio in both male and female, and partial dominance in four characters such as fifth instar period, cocoon layer weight, cocoon layer ratio and bave length. In F2 generation, the partial dominance in all characters were obtained. Components of genetic variance analyzed for five characters such as fifth instar period, cocoon width, cocoon layer weight, cocoon layer ratio and fibroin contents in F1 generation, and for four characters such as cocoon width, cocoon layer weight, cocoon layer ratio and frbroin contents in F2 generation showed that addition effects were higher than dominant effects.

해외 5G 연구동향 및 5G 대응 조직 현황

  • 2013 년을 기점으로 우리나라는 물론이고 해외 각국에서도 5G 에 대한 본격적인 준비에 돌입하고 있다. 산업 측면에서 볼 때, 본격적인 4세대 표준인 LTE-Adv. 기술의 중요기능 중의 하나인 Carrier Aggregation 이 이미 우리나라에서 상용서비스 중이고 다양한 장비 및 단말 들이 출시되고 있는 등, 본 궤도에 들어섰다고 볼 수 있기 때문에 자연스럽게 차세대 기술을 고려할 때가 되었다고 볼 수 있다. 본고에서는 1장에서는 5G 표준화를 전망해 보고, 2장에서는 해외 각국의 5G 관련 대응 노력들을 분석하며, 3장에서는 5G 시대를 겨냥한 활발한 국제 협력 움직임에 대해서 정리해 보고 결론으로는 우리나라가 갖추어야 할 준비사항에 대해서 제안해 본다.

  • 2020년 5세대 이동통신 상용화를 목표로 중국, 일본, 유럽 등 주요국은 기술, 표준화, 시장 주도를 위해 경쟁적으로 연구 개발 및 투자를 본격화하고 있다. 우리나라도 국가 성장동력을 창출해온 이동통신분야에서 새로운 기술 진화 및 혁신으로 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 5G를 10대 ICT기술로 선정하고, 도전적 R&D 추진 계획을 수립하였다. 이에 본고에서는 이동통신 시장 및 표준화 현황을 살펴보고, 미래부의 'ICT R&D 중장기 전략' 및 '5G 이동통신 추진계획'에 따른 5G 중장기 목표 및 '14년도 신규과제 기획방향에 대해 알아본다.

MICROLEAKAGE OF 7TH GENERATION BONDING SYSTEM (7세대 결합제의 미세누출에 관한 연구)

  • Dentin bonding system have recently been developed in an effort to simplify and shorten bonding procedure. The intent of this study was to evaluate microleakage of newer generation of dentin bonding system comparing with other generations. Forty extracted human premolar teeth were randomly assigned to four groups for bonding : the 4th generation bonding system (Scotchbond Multi-Purpose). the 5th generation bonding system (Clearfil SE Bond), 6th generation bonding system (AQ bond) and 7th generation bonding $system(i-bond)^{TM}$ Class V cavities were prepared in buccal and lingual surface. The cavities were restored with composite resin (Z100) after the application of dentin bonding systems according to the instructions of the manufacturer Samples were thermocycled and immersed in methylene blue dye(2%). Each sample was sectioned with Isomet and evaluated for microleakage using stereomicroscopy. The mean value of the microleakage in 7th generation bonding system was greater than those of 4, 5, 6th generation dentin bonding system. Statistically, the mean values of microleakage between 4th and 7th generation bonding system were significantly different from each other (p<0.05).
