풍력발전기 초기단계 모사실험을 위한 4자유도 수학적 모형에 대한 연구 (Study on 4-degree-of-freedom Mathematical Model for Simulation of Wind Turbine System at Initial Design Stage)

  • The commercial tools to simulate the non-linear dynamic characteristics of wind turbine system are various but, the tool take much time to simulate the control algorithm and require many input variables. In this paper, the procedures to derive the simplified 4-degree-of-freedom mathematical model of a 2-MW wind turbine which could be used at the initial design stage of the controller are proposed based on RISO's suggested method. In this model, the 1st tower fore-after bending motion and 1st blade flapping motion are also considered in addition to the rotor-generator rotation motion in the 2-DOF model. The effectiveness of the 4-DOF model is examined comparing with the 2-DOF model and verification of the simplified model is accomplished through modal analysis for whole wind turbine system.

  • 본 논문에서는 가상환경 내의 물체로부터 역감을 얻을 수 있는 3자유도 힘 반향 장치를 제안한다. 이 시스템은 디바이스와 가상환경의 모델과 힘 반향 렌더링 알고리즘 등으로 구성되었다. 평행링크 메커니즘과 와이어에 의한 토크전달 그리고 임피던스 제어가 가능한 제어기를 사용해 3자유도 힘 반향 역감장치(Force-reflecting device)를 설계하였다. 위치 함수만으로 계산되는 힘 반향동작은 God-Object 알고리즘을 사용했다. 3차원 가상물체와 시험 제작한 역감장치(Force-reflecting device)를 인터페이스 실험을 통해 3차원 가상물체와 접촉과 비접촉 그리고 푸쉬 버튼을 만지는 느낌을 검출하였다.

  • In this paper, on-line adaptive friction compensation scheme for the precise position control is presented. 2 DOF system with compliance and friction is used for the plant model. In order to reduce the calculation time for the parameter estimation, 1 DOF estimation model is used. The computer simulation and experimental results show the validity of the supposed scheme.

  • This paper presents an active vibration control of a 1-DOF system using a hybrid mount which consists of elastic rubber and electromagnetic actuator. After identifying stiffness, damping properties of the elastic rubber and electromagnetic element, a mechanical model of the hybrid mount is established. The mount model is then incorporated into the 1-DOF system and the governing equation of motion is obtained in a state space. A sliding mode controller is designed in order to actively attenuate the vibration of the system control responses such as acceleration and transmitted force of the 1 -DOF system are presented in time domain.

  • Recently, the various driving simulator have been used widely to analyze the handling performance of vehicle and to verify the motion control algorithm of vehicle. In this study, a virtual driving simulator based on the 20-DOF vehicle model is realized to estimate the handling performance and stability of a 4WS (Four-wheel-steering) and/or 4n(Four-wheel-driving) vehicle. Especially the DC motor controlled 4WS actuator is modelled in order to reflect the effect of the responsiveness of actuator on the handling performance and stability. And the realized simulator can be applied to develope a real time simulation system for designing and testing the real vehicles.

  • The deep ocean engineering basin (DOEB) of the Korea Research Institute of Ship and Ocean Engineering (KRISO) is equipped with an extreme-environment reproduction facility that can analyze the motion characteristics of offshore structures and ships. In recent years, there have been requirements for a wide range of six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) motion measurements for performing maneuvering tests and free-running tests of target objects (offshore structures or ships). This study introduces the process of developing a wide-area motion measurement technology by incorporating the auto-tracking technology of the towing carriage system to overcome the existing 6-DOF motion measurement limitation. To realize a wide range of motion measurements, the automatic tracking control system of the towing carriage in the DOEB was designed as a speed control method. To verify the control performance, the characteristics of the towing carriage according to the variation in control gain were analyzed. Finally, a wide range of motions was tested using a model test object (a remotely operated vehicle (ROV)), and the wide-area motion measurement technology was implemented using an automatic tracking control system for a towing carriage.

정전부상시스템의 설계 (Design of Electrostatic Suspension System)

  • Electrostatic forces have an advantage of directly levitating not only non-ferromagnetic metals but also semiconductors, such as silicon wafers, and dielectric materials like glass. This paper describes the characteristics of electrostatic forces and electrostatic suspension system, followed by the basic principle of 1-DOF(degree of freedom) electrostatic suspension system, and the structures of electrodes-for-suspension and voltage supplying methods to the electrodes in 1-DOF model. This paper also discuss about the minimum number of electrodes needed to control n-DOF motion of the suspended object and represents some desirable electrode patterns to stabilize the 6-DOF motion of the object. In the near future, electrostatic suspension system is expected to be applied to industrial manufacturing processes, for example, to the manufacture of semiconductor devices and/or flat panel display devices.

전차량의 3차원 동역학 모델 (Three-Dimensional Dynamic Model of Full Vehicle)

  • A three-dimensional dynamic model for simulating various motions of full vehicle is presented. The model has 16 independent degrees of freedom (DOF) consisting of three kinds of components; a vehicle body of 6 DOF, 4 independent suspensions equipped at every corner of the body, and 4 tire models linked with each suspension. The dynamic equations are represented in six coordinate frames such as world fixed coordinate, vehicle fixed coordinate, and four wheel fixed coordinate frames. Then these lead to the approximated prediction model of vehicle posture. Both lateral and longitudinal dynamics can be computed simultaneously under the conditions of which various inputs including steering command, driving torque, gravity, rolling resistance of tire, aerodynamic resistance, etc. are considered. It is shown through simulations that the proposed 3D model can be useful for precise design and performance analysis of any full vehicle control systems.

모델 불확실성을 갖는 6자유도 원격조종 수중로봇의 외란 관측기 기반 제어 (Disturbance Observer-Based Control for 6-DOF Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle with Model Uncertainties)

  • This paper proposes a disturbance observer-based control for 6-DOF remotely operated underwater vehicles with model uncertainties. The sum of external disturbance and the forces generated from model parameters except for the inertial matrix of the hydrodynamic model is defined as a lumped disturbance in this paper. Then, the lumped disturbance caused by model uncertainties and the external forces is estimated using the disturbance observer. Fortunately, the disturbance observer is constructed as a linear form because all the elements of the inertial matrix of the hydrodynamic model are constants. To verify the proposed control scheme, we show that the actual lumped disturbance is similar to the estimated lumped disturbance obtained by the disturbance observer. Finally, the position tracking performance in the disturbance environment is confirmed through the comparative study with a traditional inverse dynamics PD controller.
