A Structural Analysis Model for the Initial Configuration of a Suspension Bridge Considering the Erection Method of Stiffening Girders (보강형의 시공방법을 고려한 타정식 현수교의 초기형상해석 모델)

  • To determine the initial configuration of the suspension bridge appropriate idealization model and analysis procedure are proposed as considering the boundary and loading conditions of stiffening girder during the erection. The construction stages of a suspension bridge are divided into two steps which are the first stage of the erection and the second stage of the completion in terms of the erection time of stiffening girders, and depending upon such an erection step the initial configuration analysis is classified the first configuration analysis and the revision analysis of the second configuration. The boundary and loading conditions and the analysis procedures for each stage are suggested and the results are verified by comparing with existing data. The results show that the proposed method provides better solution compared to the results using existing method.

  • In this study, a rotor planform shape with high performance and low noise has been designed and its aerodynamic and aeroacoustic characteristics are analysed. First of all, rotor blade planform with low noise characteristics, has been designed based on the paddle-shape blade by applying vane-tip concept. Finally, noise characteristics of the designed next-generation rotor blade have been investigated and the results are compared with those of BERP blade.

Cooling Characteristics and Shielding Effectiveness of hybrid IC (하이브리드 IC의 냉각특성 및 전자차 차폐효과 연구)

  • ATM 교환기에 사용되는 하이브리드 IC에 대해 냉각성능과 전자파 차폐성능을 실 험과 수치해석에 의해 분석하였다. 하이브리드 IC 상부에 전자파 차폐를 위해 부착하는 덮 게의 형상에 따라 냉각공기 유속 0.5~0.4m/sec 조건에서 냉각실험을 하였고 냉각 해석 코 드인 Flotherm으로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션하여 비교하였다. 그리고 각 덮게의 형상에 따라 30MHz ~1GHz 대혁에 걸쳐 전자파 차폐 실험을 하엿다. 실험결과 냉각 특성의 실험과 수 치해석 결과 잘 일치하였으며 공기 유속을 1.0m/sec 이상으로 유지시키면 덮개 형상에 무관 하게 열적으로 안저하였다. 30~700MHz 영역에서는 덮게로 인한 전자파 차폐효과가 뚜렷하 였으나 700MHz 이후의 대역에서는 접지와 접속되는 리이드의 임피던스 증가로 인하여 차 폐효과가 감소하였다.

  • 형상기억합금 선(Shape Memory Alloy Fibers : SMA Fibers)을 삽입한 복합재료 평판의 고온 환경에서의 열적 좌굴 및 진동 해석을 유한요소법을 이용하여 수행하였다 1 차 전단변형이론을 적용하여 적층판을 모델링하였고, 온도 변화 효과는 적층판의 전 영역에서 균일한 온도 분포로 가정하였다. 형상기억합금 선의 온도에 대한 비선형 재료 성질을 고려하여 열적 좌굴 해석 수행 시 반복 계산법을 이용하였고, 자유 진동 해석에서는 시스템의 자유도를 줄이기 위하여 Guyan-Reduction(CR)을 사용하였다. 온도 변화와 형상기억합금 선의 체적비(volume fraction) 및 초기 변형률(initial strain) 변화에 따른 임계 온도와 고유 진동수의 특성을 해석하였다.

Compression and Shear Capacity of Rubber Bearings with Various Geometric Parameters (다양한 기하학적 인자를 고려한 고무받침의 압축 및 전단 내력)

  • In this study, compression and shear characteristics of laminated rubber bearings and lead rubber bearings with various parameters are investigated by using material and geometric nonlinear three-dimensional finite element analysis. Rubber coupon tests are performed to make a model of the laminated rubber bearings. In addition, the material constants of the rubber are calculated by the curve fitting process of stress-strain relationship. The finite element analysis and experimental tests of the laminate rubber bearings are used to verify the validity of the rubber material constants. It is seen that the compression behavior of the laminated rubber bearings and lead rubber bearings mainly varies depending on the first shape factors and their shear behavior significantly varies depending on the second shape factors. In addition, the horizontal stiffness and energy dissipation capacity of lead rubber bearing are increased when the diameter of a lead bar is increased.

  • An analytical study on the flow resistance of tree-shaped channel-flow architectures was carried out based on the principle of the constructal law; the evolutionary increase in the access to currents that flow through the channels with improvements in the flow configurations were studied in a square domain using two diameters. Two types of tree-shaped configurations were optimized. The minimized global flow resistance decreased steadily as the system size $N^2$ increased. From the two channel configurations, the one that resulted in better pressure drop was selected. Further, it was shown that the system performance can be enhanced by adopting the second tree-shaped configurations when the system size is greater than $18^2$.

  • In this study, we investigated the hydrodynamic and thermal performance of constructal architectures on the basis of the mass flow rates for a given pressure drop, and we determined the thermal resistance and flow uniformity. The five flow configuration used in this study were the first construct with optimized hydraulic diameter, the second construct with optimized hydraulic diameter, the first construct with non-optimized hydraulic diameter, second construct with non-optimized hydraulic diameter, and a serpentine configuration. The results of our study suggest that the best fluid-flow structure is the second constructal structure with optimized constructal configurations. We also found that in the case of the optimized structure of cooling plates, the heat transfer was remarkably higher and the pumping power was significantly lower than those of traditional channels.

  • 전동기의 위치센서로 Variable Reluctance(VR) 레졸버의 구동 방식은 1차 권선에 여자신호가 인가됨과 동시에 2차 권선 COS, SIN의 유기된 기전력을 발생시키며, RDC(Resolover-to-Digital Converter)를 이용함으로써 위치 신호를 출력한다. 위치센서로서의 레졸버는 전동기 회전자의 정확한 위치를 정밀하게 측정하는 것이 중요하다. 그러나 다양한 외란으로 인해 위치 정보의 오차가 발생하며 레졸버 설계시 회전자 형상에 따라 오차가 다르게 나타난다. 본 논문은 레졸버의 설계 및 특성 해석을 용이하게 하기 위해 Visual Basic tool을 이용하여 자동화 설계 및 특성 해석 프로그램을 구성하였다. 또한 프로그램을 이용하여 레졸버 회전자 형상 변화에 따른 인덕턴스 변화로 유기된 전압의 크기변화와 그에 따른 위치 오차율을 분석하였다.

Vibration Analysis of Stiffened Corrugated Composite Plates (보강된 적층 복합재료 주름판의 진동해석)

  • The free vibration characteristics of corrugated laminated composite plates with axial stiffeners is investigated using the Rayleigh-Ritz method. The plate is stiffened by beams with open cross-section area. The equivalent homogenization model is used for the corrugated laminated composite plates. This homogenization model is treated a corrugated plate as an orthotropic plate that has different material properties in two perpendicular directions. The motion of equivalent plate is represented on the basis of the first order shear deformation theory (FSDT) to account for the effect of rotary inertia and transverse shear deformation. Stiffeners are considered as discrete elements to predict the local vibration mode to be generated by the presence of stiffeners. To validate the proposed analytical approach, natural frequencies and vibration mode shapes from the analytical method are compared with those from the FEA by ANSYS.

Evaluation of the Second Order Analysis of Asymmetric Unbraced Frame by using Load Amplification Factor (하중증폭계수를 적용한 비대칭 비가새 골조 2차 해석 평가)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the validity of the second-order analysis for asymmetric unbraced frame using the load amplification factor suggested by design codes. For this purpose, the first-order analysis with the B1 and B2 factors suggested by KBC 2005 and the direct analysis with the load amplification factors suggested by KBC 2009 were performed for five story - two bay and five story - four bay asymmetric unbraced steel frames. The results of the analyses were compared with the results of the second-order inelastic analysis to evaluate the validity of the suggested methods. The main parameters of the analysis were the shape of the frame, the axial load ratio of the column, the methods of analysis and the location of column. The research results show that the asymmetric shape of the frame deteriorates the validity of the factor B2 and the suggested methods. The range of error is increased in case of irregular or inclined column.
