La2NiO4+δ세라믹스의 유전이완 및 전기전도특성 (Dielectric Relaxation and Electrical Conduction Properties of La2NiO4+δ Ceramics)

  • Thermoelectric power, dc conductivity, and the dielectric relaxation properties of $La_2NiO_{4.03}$ are reported in the temperature range of 77 K - 300 K and in a frequency range of 20 Hz - 1 MHz. Thermoelectric power was positive below 300K. The measured thermoelectric power of $La_2NiO_{4.03}$ decreased linearly with temperature. The dc conductivity showed a temperature variation consistent with the variable range hopping mechanism at low temperatures and the adiabatic polaron hopping mechanism at high temperatures. The low temperature dc conductivity mechanism in $La_2NiO_{4.03}$ was analyzed using Mott's approach. The temperature dependence of thermoelectric power and dc conductivity suggests that the charge carriers responsible for conduction are strongly localized. The relaxation mechanism has been discussed in the frame of the electric modulus and loss spectra. The scaling behavior of the modulus and loss tangent suggests that the relaxation describes the same mechanism at various temperatures. The logarithmic angular frequency dependence of the loss peak is found to obey the Arrhenius law with activation energy of ~ 0.106eV. At low temperature, variable range hopping and large dielectric relaxation behavior for $La_2NiO_{4.03}$ are consistent with the polaronic nature of the charge carriers.

  • Since the 1990s, with the beginning of local autonomy, most Korean cities have tried to establish and reinforce their own identity. The Law on the Planning and the Use of National Land, which took effect in January 2003, requires major and minor cities to manage and develop a city image and a marketing strategy to reflect their current condition. However, many cities continue to experience confusion in implementing urban landscape planning because no efficient and systematic method has been provided for the analysis of a city's image. The absence of systematic analysis methods makes it difficult not only to assess the current condition of a city accurately but also to choose an appropriate policy for the given city. Consequently, many cities suffer excessive trials and errors in implementing the correct policies for their city. The purpose of this study was to analyze the image: of Kongju, which has many historical properties. For this purpose, adjective questionnaires and multi-dimensional scaling (MDS) were made use of in order to assess the city image. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. There are five properties that serve as landmarts lie symbolize Kongju: Muryeong royal tomb, Castle Kong, Mt. Gyeoiryong, Forest Museum, and Kongju National Museum. 2. Based on the citizen survey regarding the city type, Kongju is seen as a historical and an educational city. 3. Based on the image positioning (image spatial plot), Kongju is described as an old and familiar city. There we, however, no landmarks which are in accord with the image of Kongju. It is difficult to establish and reinforce the image of a city with a single element like a landmark However, with steady follow-up research, this study may serve as a systematic and logical model to improve the urban landscape and image.

  • We have simulated the interaction of supernova remnants with constant ambient medium to explore the dynamics of Type Ia supernova remnant. We assumed the supernova ejecta density distribution of the central constant and the outer power-law density distribution$({\rho}{\propto}{\gamma}^{-n})$. We have calculated four different cases with different n. By scaling the length and time scales from the initial parameters-ejecta mass, ejecta energy, the ambient density, we could compare effects of the different density distribution of the ejecta on the dynamics of the SNRs. The radius of the outer forward shock converges the Sedov-Talyor solution at t' = 2.3 when the swept-up mass is 8 times of the ejecta mass. On the other hand, the motion of the reverse shock are largely affected by n. The ejecta with smaller n takes comparably long time to thermalize the whole ejecta at $t'{\simeq}5.3,\;M_{sw}{\simeq}18M_{ej}$. We have applied our calculated results to obtain the ejecta density distributions of Tycho and SN1006 with $n{\simeq}6$.

터널 내 화재발생시 구난역 내의 연기 거동에 미치는 설계된 환기 영향에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Designed Ventilation Effect on the Smoke Movement at Rescue Station fire in Railway Tunnel)

  • In this study, the 1/35 reduced-scale model experiment were conducted to investigate designed ventilation effect on the smoke movement at rescue station fire in railway tunnel. A model tunnel with 2 mm thick, 10 m long, 0.19 m high and 0.26 m was made by using Froude number scaling law. The cross-passages installing escape door at the center were connected between incident tunnel and rescue tunnel. The n-heptane pool fires with heat release rate 698.97W were used as fire source. The fire source was located at the center and portal of incident tunnel as worst case. A operating ventilation system extracted smoke amount of 0.015 cms(cubic meters per second). The smoke temperature and CO gas concentration in cross-passage were measured to verify designed ventilation system. The result showed that, at center fire case without ventilation, smoke did not propagate to rescues station. In portal fire case, smoke spreaded to rescues station without ventilation. But smoke did not propagated to rescues station with designed ventilation.

700 W급 홀 전기추력기 랩모델 연구개발 (Development of a 700 W Class Laboratory Model Hall Thruster)

  • 소형위성의 궤도조정 및 궤도유지에 활용될 수 있는 700 W급 홀추력기 랩모델을 개발하였다. 스케일링 방정식을 사용하여 방전채널의 크기를 선정하였으며, 자기장이 방전채널 중심선을 기준으로 대칭성을 가지면서 방전채널 바깥에서 최대가 되도록 설계하였다. 개발된 홀추력기의 방전시험은 2.0×10-5 Torr 이하의 배경압력을 갖는 진공 환경에서 수행되었으며 추력 스탠드를 이용하여 추력을 측정하였다. 양극전압을 300 V로 고정하고 양극유량과 코일전류를 변수로 하여 추력을 측정하였으며, 양극유량 2.36 mg/s, 코일전류 2.4 A 조건에서 양극전력 620 W에서 추력 38 mN, 통합비추력 1,540 s, 양극효율 50 %로 가장 높은 성능을 보였다.

표류부표 분산의 프랙탈 성질: 관측 및 시뮬레이션 (Fractals in the Spreading of Drifters: Observation and Simulation)

  • 동일지점에서 동시에 투하된 여러개 표류부표들 사이의 분산거리를 측정하므로써, 한반도 연안역 5개 해역에서 해양난류확산의 시간적 특성을 조사하였다. 각각의 실험 에서 GPS 와 Decca Trisponder를 사용하여 표류부표의 궤적을 2∼6시간 동안 추적하였 다. 실측된 부표간 분리거리의 분산(거리의 제곱)은 시간 t에 따라 t/SUP m/에 비례하 는 지수관계를 나타내었으며, 수분 내지 수시간의 시간 스케일에서, 승수 m 은 1.2 와 2.0 의 범위였다. 실측된 부표의 궤적은 임의행보나 브라운운동의 특성을 나타내지 않 고, 프랙탈 브라운운동의 특성을 나타내었다. 해양에서 의 실제적인 상황에 부합되는 확산모델 개발을 위한 일차적인 시도로서 표류부표의 운동을 프랙탈 브라운운동 모델 에 의해 재현하였다. 본 눈문에서는 실측된 표류부표의 이동을 모델링하면 현장관측과 일치하는 표류부표 분리거리의 지수관계가 재현되지 못함을 보였다.

경사터널내 화재 발생시 경사도가 임계속도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Critical Velocity Considering the Slope in Tunnel Fire)

  • 본 연구에서는 경사각에 다른 임계속도 변화를 파악하기 위하여 축소모형 실험을 수행하였다. Froude 상사를 사용하여 1/20 축소모델 시험을 수행하였고, 화원은 메탄올, 아세톤, 헵탄을 연료로하여 Akinson과 Wu가 사용한 가스버너가 아닌 배연속도에 따라 달라지는 정사각형 풀을 사용하였으며, 터널의 각도는 $0^{\circ}$, $2^{\circ}$, $4^{\circ}$, $6^{\circ}$, $8^{\circ}$에 관하여 실험을 수행하였다. 발열량과 온도는 로드셀과 K-type 열전대를 사용하여 측정하였다. 실험결과 발열량 변화를 고려하지 않은 Atkinson과 Wu의 실험결과 보다 배연속도에 따른 발열량이 변화하는 풀화재를 사용한 경우가 더 큰 기울기 값을 얻었다. 따라서 배연속도는 화원의 연소율 변화에 직접적으로 영향을 미치기 때문에 경사터널화재 발생시 연소율의 변화에 따른 임계속도의 영향을 고려하는 것이 중요하다.

개방 공간에서 발생하는 수소-공기 혼합 가스 폭연에 대한 실험적/해석적 연구 (Experimental and Analytical Study on Hydrogen-air Deflagrations in Open Atmosphere)

  • Experimental and analytical investigations are performed to explore the explosion characteristics of a hydrogen-air mixture in open atmosphere. A hydrogen-air mixture tent of total volume of 27 m3, with 40% hydrogen volume, is used to observe overpressure at a distance from the ignition source. Vapor cloud explosion analyses are performed using the TNO multi-energy model and Baker-Strehlow-Tang model. The results of these analyses are compared with experiment done from this study and references. The experimental results with and without obstacles indicate that the overpressure values measured at a distance of 4.5-21.5 m from the ignition source are about 9.4-3.6 kPa and 6.5-2 kPa, respectively. This implies that the overpressure with obstacles is approximately 1.7 times greater than that without obstacles. Analytical observation indicates that the results obtained with the Baker-Strehlow-Tang model with Mf = 0.2-0.35 are in good agreement with those of most of the previous studies, including that obtained from this study. Moreover, the TNO multi-energy model with a volume of 27 m3 well predicts the overpressure obtained from this study. Further studies should considered explosions in semi-confined spaces, which is more suitable for hydrogen refueling stations.

기체-액체 밀도차에 대한 슬로싱 충격압력의 실험적 고찰 (Study on the Effect of Density Ratio of Gas and Liquid in Sloshing Experiment)

  • This paper presents the results of sloshing experiments having different fluids in model tanks with various density ratios. The experimental model consisting water and air at ambient, which has been commonly used, is not consistent in density ratio with that of an actual LNG cargo tank. Therefore, an advanced experimental scheme is developed to consider the same density ratio of LNG and NG by using a mixed gas of sulfur hexafluoride ($SF_6$) and nitrogen ($N_2$). For experimental observation, a two-dimensional model tank of 1/40 scale and a three-dimensional model tank of 1/50 scale have been manufactured and tested at various conditions. Two different fillings with various excitation frequencies under regular motions have been considered for the two-dimensional model tank, and three different filling levels under irregular motions have been imposed for the three-dimensional model tank. The density ratio between gas and liquid varies from the ratio of the ambient air and water to that of the actual LNG cargo container, and the different composition of gas is used for this variation. Based on the present experimental results, it is found that the decrease of sloshing pressure is predicted when the density ratio increases.

터보프롭엔진(PT6A-62)의 정.동적 성능모사에 관한 연구 (A Study on Steady-state and Transient Performance Simulation of Turboprop Engine(PT6A-62))

  • 국내에서 개발된 초등훈련기 KT-1의 주 추진기관인 터보프롭엔진(PT6A-62)의 성능모사 프로그램을 개발하였다. 성능해석프로그램에 사용된 구성품 성능도는 이미 알려져 있는 성능도를 축척방정식을 가지고 축척하여 사용하였다. 개발된 프로그램의 성능을 입증하기 위하여 질량유량, 압축기 압력비, 연료유랑, 동력, 비연료소모율, 터빈입구온도 등의 변수를 상용프로그램인 CASTURB의 해석결과와 비교하였다. 성능해석은 지상정지조건과 다양한 비행마하수와 고도를 고려하여 수행하였으며 개발된 프로그램의 타당성을 입증한 후 부분부하 성능의 해석을 수행하였다. 천이상태 성능해석에서는 다양한 연료유량의 증가조건을 고려하였다. 첫 번째로 0.1초에 걸쳐 step 증가되는 경우를 고려한 결과 압축기터빈 입구온도에서 오버슈트가 발생하였다. 연료를 천천히 ramp 증가시킨 결과 오버슈트가 제거됨을 확인할 수 있었다.
