The Relation Between Precipitates and Mechanical Properties in Direct-Quenched Microalloyed Steels with Molybdenum (몰리브데늄 첨가 직접 소입 비조질강에서의 석출물 거동과 기계적 성질간의 관계)

  • 0.14wt.%C-0.82wt.%Mn-0.20wt, %Si-0.10wt.%V-0.03wt.%Nb의 조성을 갖는 직접 소입강에 몰리브데늄을 각각 0.30wt.%, 0.58wt.% 첨가하여 기계적 성질을 조사하고 투과 전자 현미경을 이용하여 각각의 미세 조직을 관찰하여 석출물을 분석하였다. 직접 소입시의 석출물은 M$_{2}$C, MC의 비평형 상태의 석출물이 생성되었고 석출물들은 마르텐사이트 래스내의 침상형탄화물, 구형의 M$_{2}$C탄화물, 직사각형 형태의 MC탄화물이 관찰되었다. 유냉시에는 래스내의 침상형 탄화물만 관찰되었으며 수냉시에는 M$_{2}$C 탄화물이 관찰되었다. 0.58wt.%의 몰리브데늄의 첨가된 강에서는 MoN이 관찰되었으며, 이 강의경우 강도의 손실 없이 인성이 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다.

  • Al2O3/t-ZrO2 particulate composites were prepared by sintering at 150$0^{\circ}C$ and 1$600^{\circ}C$ for 2h in air and microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated. Although most ZrO2 particles existed at Al2O3 grain boundaries a few ZrO2 particles within Al2O3 grains. Al2O3 grain growth was depressed due to the pinning effect by ZrO2 particles. During sintering coarsening of intergranular ZrO2 particles occurred as a results of the elimination of ZrO2 intraagglomerate grain boundaries and the coalescence of dragged ZrO2 particles by migrating Al2O3 grain boundries. Changes in mechanical properties of Al2O3 composites were dependant on microstructure of Al2O3 matrix and on size and structure of dispersed ZrO2.

  • Y-Bi-Ba-Cu-O계 초전도체를 보통의 ceramic방법과 screen printing과 소결법으로 원판형과 후막형으로 제작하였다. B $i_{2}$ $O_{3}$를 첨가하여 소결한 $Y_{1}$B $a_{2}$C $u_{3}$ $O_{7-y}$의 초전도 성질은 전기저항측정과 자석위에 부상 유무로 조사하였다. 또한 B $i_{2}$ $O_{3}$를 첨가함에 따라 소결된 시편의 미세구조에 어떠한 영향을 주었는지 알아보았다. 전기저항 측정시 Yttrium 대신에 Bi로 부분적으로 치환한 경우인 $Y_{0.85}$B $i_{0.15}$B $a_{2}$C $u_{3}$ $O_{7-y}$의 상온 저항치가 기본조성인 $Y_{1}$B $a_{2}$C $u_{3}$ $O_{7-y}$의 그것보다 향상된 미세구조로 인해 더 작은 값을 나타낸다. 반면 $Y_{1}$B $a_{2}$C $u_{3}$ $O_{7-y}$에다가 초과로 B $i_{2}$ $O_{3}$를 첨가한 경우 오히려 미세구조는 불량하고 상온저항치도 더 높다. 이러한 사실은 입계에 잔류하는 이차상은 전기적 성질에는 크게 영향을 주나 자기적 성질에는 거의 영향을 주지않는 것으로 보인다. 후막으로 Y-Bi-Ba-Cu-O를 제작시 기판에 의해 좌우되는데 단지 magnesia 기판에서 소결시 bulk시편과 유사한 성질을 나타냈다.질을 나타냈다.다.

  • 이미 발표한 바와 같이 사과산을 강력히 분해하는 Schizosacharomyces japonicus var. japonicus를 과실주에 직접 적용하기 위한 기초적 자료를 얻고자 하여 양조학적 성질을 검토한 바를 보고하고자 한다. 사과산의 정량은 paper chromatograohy에 의하여 발색시킨 사과산의 spot를 Goodban의 방법에 의하여 비색 정량하였다. 본 공시균은 pH 4.2~4.8, 알코올 12% 이하, $SO_2는$ 150ppm 이하, $Mn^{2+}$$MnSO_4$ 로서 0.01% 이하의 농도에서 양호한 Maloalcohol 발효를 유도하였다. 더욱 공시균은 7.5%의 알코올을 생성시켰다. 당류의 첨가는 Maloalcohol 발효를 저해하였으며 정치 배양과 진탕 배양과의 차이점은 거의 인정할 수 없으나 공시균의 생육은 진탕 배양하므로 촉진되었다. 0.3%의 사과산을 $30^{\circ}C에서$ 정치 배양하므로 배양 6일로서 완전히 분해하였다.

  • 1. Aiming at supply of basic informations on tree species siting and forest fertilization by understanding of soil properties that are demanded by each tree species through studies of forest soil's morphological, physical and chemical properties in relation to tree growth in our country, the necessary data have been collected in the last 10 years, are quantified according to quantification theory and are analyzed in sccordance with multi-variate analysis. 2. Test species, japanese larch (Larix leptolepis Gord) and the Korean white pine, (pinus koraiensis S et Z.) are plantable in extensive areas from mid to north in the temperate forest zone and are the two most recommended reforestation tree species in Korea. However, their respective site demands are little known and they have been in confusion or considered demanding the same site during reforestation. When the Korean white pine is planted in larch sites, it has shown relatively good growth, but, when Japanese larch is planted in Korean white pine site it can be hardly said that the Japanese Larch growth is good. To understand on such a difference soil factors have been studied so as to see how th soil's morphological, physical and chemical factors affect tree growth helped with the electronic computer. 3. All the stands examined are man-made mature forests. From 294 Japanese larch plots and 259 Korean white pine plots dominant trees are cut as samples and through stem analysis site index is determined. For each site index soil profiles are made in the related forest-land for analysis. Soil samples are taken from each profile horizon and forest-land productivity classification tables are worked out through physical and chemical analyses of the soil samples for each tree species for the study of relationships between physical, chemical and the combined physical/properties of soil and tree growth. 4. In the study of relationships between physical properties of soil and tree growth it is found out that Japanese larch growth is influenced by the following factors in the decreasing order of weight deposit form, soil depth, soil moisture, altitude, relief, soil type, depth a A-horizon, soil consistency, content of organic matter, soil texture, bed rock, gravel content, aspect and slope. For the Korean white pine the influencing factors' order is soil type, soil consistency, bed rock, aspect, depth of A-horizon, soil moisture, altitude, relief, deposit form, soil depth, soil texture, gravel content and slope. 5. In the study of relationships between chemical properties of soil and tree growth it is found out that Japanese larch growth is influenced by the following factors in the order of base saturation, organic matter, CaO, C/N ratio, effective $P_2O_5$, PH, exchangeable, $K_2O$, T-N, MgO, CEC, Total Base and Na. For the Korean white pine the influencing factors' order is effective $P_2O_5$, Total Base, T-N, Na, C/N ratio, PH, CaO, base saturation, organic matter, exchangeable $K_2O$, CEC and MgO. 6. In the study of relationships between the combined physical and chemical properties of soil and tree growth it is found out that Japanese larch growth is influenced by the following factors in the order of soil depth, deposit form, soil moisture, PH, relief, soil type altitude, T-N, soil consistency, effective $P_2O_5$, soil texture, depth of A-horizon, Total Base, exchangeable $K_2O$ and base saturation. For the Korean white pine the influencing factors' order is soil type, soil consistency, aspect, effective $P_2O_5$, depth of A-horizon, exchangeable $K_2O$, soil moisture, Total Base, altitude, soil depth, base saturation, relief, T-N, C/N ratio and deposit form. 7. In the multiple correlation of forest soil's physical properties larch's correlation coefficient for Japanese Larch is 0.9272 and for Korean white pine, 0.8996. With chemical properties larch has 0.7474 and Korean white pine has 0.7365. So, the soil's physical properties are found out more closely related with tree growth than chemical properties. However, this seems due to inadequate expression of soil's chemical factors and it is proved that the chemical properities are not less important than the physical properties. In the multiple correlation of the combined physical and chemical properties consisting of important morphological and physical factors as well as chemical factors of forest soils larch's multiple correlation coefficient is found out to be 0.9434 and for Korean white pine it is 0.9103 leading to the highest correlation. 8. As shown in the partial correlation coefficients Japanese larch needs deeper soil depth than Korean white pine and in the deposit form of colluvial and creeping soils are demanded by the larch. Moderately moist to not moist should be soil moisture and PH should be from 5.5 to 6.1 for the larch. Demands of T-N, soil texture and soil nutrients are higher for the larch than the Korean white pine. Thus, soil depth, deposit form, relief, soil moisture, PH, N, altitude and soil texture are good indicators for species sitings with larch and the Korean white pine while soil type and soil consistency are indicative only limitedly of species sitings due to their wide variations as plantation environments. For the larch siting soil depth, deposit form, relief, soil moisture, pH, soil type, N and soil texture are indicators of good growth and for the Korean white pine they are soil type, soil consistency, effective $P_2O_5$ and exchangeable $K_2O$. In soil nutrients larch has been found out demanding more than the Korean white pine except $K_2O$, which is demanded more by the Korean white pine than Japanese larch generally. 9. Physical properties of soil has been known as affecting tree growth to the greatest extent so far. However, as a result of this study it is proved through computer analysis that chemical properties of soil are not less important factors for tree growth than chemical properties and site demands for the Japanese larch and the Korean white pine that have been uncertain so far could be clarified.

핵산분해효소에 관 연구 제 3보 새로운 Carrier에 의한 Phosphodiesterare의 고정화

  • 고분자 기질을 분해하는 효소의 고정화 후의 활성 yield을 높히고자 Polysaccharide의 표면에 acrylamide 및 N-hydroxysuccinimidyl acrylate을 graft 공중합 시킴으로써 긴 측쇄에 활성 ester을 가지는 새로운 carrier에 phosphiesterase을 고정화 시켰으며 이 고정화된 phosphodiesterase의 몇가지 성질을 조사하여 본래의 phosphiesterase의 성질과 비교하였다. 1) 이 Carrier에 phosphodiesterase을 직접 고정화시킨 결과 52%가 고정화되었으며 고정화된 효소는 38%의 비활성을 나타내 주었다. 2) phosphodiesterase는 이상과 같이 고정화됨으로써 최적작용 pH는 8.0부근에서 9.0부근으로 최적작용온도는 $50^{\circ}C부근에서$ $60^{\circ}C부근으로$ KM치는 1.11mg에서 2.1mg/ml로 변하였으며 열안정성은 훨씬 증가하여 본래의 phosphodiesterase의 열불활성속도상수가 0.4인데 고정화된 효소는 0.03 이었다. 또 $5^{\circ}C에서$ 수용액상태(pH 8.0 Tris buffer)로 6개월 보관후의 관존 활성은 본래의 효소가 0.2%인데 고정화된 효소는 42%로 높은 치를 나타내주었다.

Effects of $v_2O_5$ Addition on the Magnetic Properties of Mn-Zn Ferrites (Mn-Zn Ferrites 의 자기적 성질에 미치는 $V_2O_5$의 첨가효과)

  • The effects of $V_2O_5$ addition as an additive on the densification, the microstructure and the magnetic properties of Mn-Zn ferrites were studied. The maximum density was observed at 0.1 wt% $V_2O_5$ content and it was recognized that a small content of $V_2O_5$ prohibited the discontinuous grain growth. The initial permeability showed maximum at 0.1 wt% $V_2O_5$ content and the power loss minimum at 0.03 wt% $V_2O_5$ content. It was found that a small content of $V_2O_5$ went into solid solution in the Mn-Zn ferrites, but above that extent $V_2O_5$ formed a second phase to be segregated at the grain boundaries.

Studies on Rheological Characterization of Barley ${\beta}-Glucan$ [mixed-linked $(1-3),(1-4)-{\beta}-D-Glucan$] (보리 ${\beta}-Glucan$ [mixed-linked $(1-3),(1-4)-{\beta}-D-Glucan$의 리올로지 특성)

  • Crude ${\beta}-glucan$ extracted from Barley was purified by stepwise enzyme treatment (Thermostable ${\alpha}-amylase$, amyloglucosidase, protease). The Intrinsic Viscosity $[{\eta}]$ of the purified ${\beta}-glucan$ was determined by Cannon Fenske Capillary Viscometer (size 50, Cannon Instruments, State, College pa.) at different pH (2, 4, 7, 9, 11) and various salt concentration (0.01 M, 0.03 M, 0.05 M, 0.07 M, 0.1 M and 0.2 M). The $[{\eta}]$ of purified ${\beta}-glucan$ was ranged from $0.997{\sim}2.290\;dl/g$. The $[{\eta}]$ of purified ${\beta}-glucan$ at both alkali, acid condition were lower than those at pH 7. However, the alkali condition of puified ${\beta}-glucan$ solution showed less $[{\eta}]$ than the acid condition of this solution. From 0 M to 0.2 M salt concentration, the $[{\eta}]$ of purified ${\beta}-glucan$ solution was decreased to 0.03 M then increased to 0.05 M NaCl and remained constant to 0.2 M NaCl. The chain stiffness parameter of purified ${\beta}-glucan$ was not affected by temperature from $15^{\circ}C$ to $65^{\circ}C$. The shear rates of various ${\beta}-glucan$ conditions were determined by Bohlin Rheometer (Lund, Sweden). The ${\beta}-glucan$ concentration of 1.0 g/dl and 2.0 g/dl behaved as Newtonian fluid. However, above the concentration of 3.0 g/dl ${\beta}-glucan$ solution, it showed thixotropic and psedoplastic characteristics. Barley ${\beta}-glucan$ appears a damping at 0.5 frequency for the 4.0 g/dl solution. Below 0.5 frequency, it appears a viscous behavior property and above 0.5 frequency, it appears a elastic behavior property.

Function Approximation for Refrigerant Using the Neural Networks (신경회로망을 사용한 냉매의 함수근사)

  • In numerical analysis on the thermal performance of the heat exchanger with phase change fluids, the numerical values of thermodynamic properties are needed. But the steam table should be modeled properly as the direct use of thermodynamic properties of the steam table is impossible. In this study the function approximation characteristics of neural networks was used in modeling the saturated vapor region of refrigerant R12. The neural network consists of one input layer with one node, two hidden layers with 10 and 20 nodes each and one output layer with 7 nodes. Input can be both saturation temperature and saturation pressure and two cases were examined. The proposed model gives percentage error of ${\pm}$0.005% for enthalpy and entropy, ${\pm}$0.02% for specific volume and ${\pm}$0.02% for saturation pressure and saturation temperature except several points. From this results neural network could be a powerful method in function approximation of saturated vapor region of R12.
