A Real-Time Motion Recognition Algorithm for a Rehabilitation Service (재활 훈련 서비스를 위한 실시간 모션인식 알고리즘)

  • The objective of this paper is to develop the real time motion recognition method for the rehabilitation program of the people with physical disabilities. Using the infrared ray LED, this method gets the Teal time information of the user's motion and tells the difference between the information we get and the pre-defined information. In order to get the fast recognition and comparison, this method positions the specific coordinates of infrared ray LED in the pre-classified sector which keeps certain distance and angle from the point of origin. The result In our experiment shows the speed over 20 frames per second in every motion, and we are satisfied the rate for the recognition of the motions which is near 98%.

  • 차량 기술의 발전으로 커넥티드 및 자율주행 차량 환경과 같은 차량 기술의 발전은 운전자에게 편의와 안전을 위한 기능을 제공한다. 하지만 이러한 장점들에도 불구하고 사이버 공격의 다양한 취약점 노출되어 있다. 최근까지 자동차 내부 네트워크로써 가장 널리 사용되는 통신기술인 CAN(Controller Area Networks) 통신은 대부분 차량의 동력을 담당하는 역할을 하다보니, 보안 문제의 중심에 서게 될 수 있다. 다양한 이기종 네트워크에서 구성된 가상화 기반의 사이버 훈련 프레임워크에 대해 설명하고자 한다. 이러한 사례 연구는 차량에 대해 물리적인 실험 환경에서의 모의침투와 같은 테스트가 어렵고, 보안과 안전이 함께 고려되어야 하는 특수성을 가진 차량 내부 네트워크의 사이버 훈련 프레임워크 설계에 도움을 줄 것이다. 본 논문에서는 가상화 개발환경 구축 사례 조사, 가상화 개발환경 구현과 차량의 공격 시나리오 및 탐지 프레임워크의 동향을 설명한다.

Development of Response Scenario for a Simulated HNS Spill Incident (위험유해물질 유출사고 대응을 위한 가상시나리오 개발)

  • In response to possible HNS (Hazardous and Noxious Substance) spill accident, HNS spill accident scenario and response scenario were developed. The accident area listed in scenarios is the coastal area of Busan, and scenario for possible accident in the designated area and strategies to respond the accident were developed, respectively. The scenario for accident was developed by designating HNS spill according to risk evaluation of HNS and analysis of HNS spill probability along the coastal area of Busan, and then estimating possible and potential impact from the accident. The scenario for response has been suggested as a systematical responding operations in order to effectively reduce the estimated impact from the accident. The possible HNS spill accident on the seas around Busan, has been designated by the spillage of 1,000ton of xylene due to collision accident in Gamcheon Port, and the possible impacts occurred by the accident has been simulated with the help of the atmospheric and oceanic dispersion model of xylene. In the responding scenario for the accident, a phased strategies regarding emergency rescue of peoples, protection and recovery of xylene, protective measures for the responders, and post management of the accident have been suggested.

  • Recently, researches on the application of IT technology to various fields including traditional industries are becoming more popular. One challenge in the field of education is to understand the way how technology may support learning, and research on self-directed learning has been accelerated by integrating education and IT technology. The process of self-directed learning in e-learning applications such as Car Maintenance Training is very difficult and complicated. Previous studies on car maintenance training applications provided simple training scenarios with predetermined action sequences. To incorporate self-directed learning in car maintenance training, however, trainees must be able to perform various maintenance operations himself and experience various situations. To provide such functionality, it is necessary to obtain an accurate response for various operations of trainees, but it requires complicated calculations with respect to varieties in the electrical and mechanical processes of a car. In this paper, we develop a logic simulation agent using JESS inference engine in which self-directed learning is achieved by capturing the behavior of trainees and simulating car operations without complicated physical simulations in car maintenance training.

  • 건설현장의 안전사고는 안전불감증과 허술한 재난관리시스템으로 인한 인재(人災)가 대부분이다. 따라서 여름 장마철과 혹서기에 대비, 현장의 감전사고 및 침수 붕괴재해 예방, 그 밖의 수해방지대책 등을 수립해 현장근로자에게 사전교육을 철저히 하는 것이 재해예방의 첫걸음이다. 특히 재난관리시스템 및 매뉴얼을 구축한 뒤 재난 유형과 상활별 시나리오를 구성, 이를 바탕으로 사전교육과 모의훈련을 통해 긴급조치 및 대피계획을 수립 실시하는 등 구체적인 재해대책 요령을 숙지하면 재해를 줄일 수 있다. 본지는 회원사의 공사안전에 참고가 되도록 한국산업안전보건공단에서 제공한 장마철 혹서기 건설 현장 안전지침을 게재한다.

선박조우 상황에서 항해사의 상황인식

  • 항해 중에 항해사의 상황인식 능력은 사고와 직결되는 능력이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 선박들이 조우하는 상황에서 항해사들이 어떻게 상황인식을 하고 있는지 조사하고 분석하였다. 본 실험은 선교 시뮬레이터에서 실시되었으며, 다양한 선박조우 상황의 시나리오를 구현하였다, 본 연구의 결과로써 항해사들의 상황인식에 문제점을 도출하였으며, 이를 예방할 수 있는 교육방법들을 제시하였다.

Development of mobile-application based cognitive training for Menopausal Women with Cognitive Complaints (갱년기 여성을 위한 앱 기반의 인지기능훈련 프로그램 개발)

  • Based on the theory of cognitive reserve, we undertook this study to develop a cognitive function training program for woman in menopausal transition with complaints of declining in cognitive function. The program was established by applying the analysis, design, and development stages of the network-based instructional system designed by Jung. The cognitive function training program developed by us is an was an 8-week program composed of cognitive and video training using a mobile application. The program consists of 24 sessions, each with 20-30 minutes of duration, to be completed 3 sessions per week. The contents of the cognitive function training comprise of memory, attention, language function, and scenario-based problem-solving for executive functions, all of which are cognitive areas found to be the most vulnerable for menopausal women. The educational contents were developed for eight subject areas, one subject area per week, including the definition of menopause, its causes and symptoms, menopause and brain function, etc. During the pilot test, the cognitive function training program was applied to 10 menopausal women who complained of cognitive function decline. The results indicated that, after eight weeks of training, the overall cognitive function of participants increased, revealing statistically significant differences (t=-3.04, p=.014) after the program was completed. The mobile app-based cognitive function training program might not only improve patients' memory functions but also potentially reduce the incidence of dementia.
