  • In this study, Curve dependent wheel flange lubricator with grease spray type is investigated and estimated a point of view reducing wheel flange wear and noise in the curve through field test. Advantage of curve dependent wheel flange lubricators with grease spray type is found on the basis of the result of field test in comparison with flange lubricator of oil spray type and bogie without wheel flange lubricator on railroad in korea.

  • This dissertation is research on the fireproof characteristic of molded transformer and the extinguishable characteristics of the NAF S-III. As the research method, a theoretical examination has been made for the combustion process of epoxy resin, which was the main material of molded transformer, and extinguishing process of NAF S-III, which has recently been used in the clean extinguishable chemicals. Furthermore, for its proof, the experiments on combustion and extin-guishment on molded transformer has been performed. By installing the actual molded transformer in and artificial the horizontal heating furnace which has similar conditions with the electrical substation, and after subsequently ignited, the extinguishing process has been observed by classifying it into the natural extinguishment of the ignited transformer, and extinguishable chemical in NAF S-III has been injected. The volume of injected extinguishable chemical was the economical amount which was equipped with the extinguishable capability on the molded transformer under combustion, and it was calculated with the Announcement of the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs as the basis. With the injection of the calculated extinguishable chemicals, the ignited transformer has completely extinguished within one minute.

Effects of the Carrier-gas Flow-rate on the Combustion Characteristics of the Ultrasonically-atomized Slit-jet Flame (초음파에 의해 무화된 슬릿제트화염의 연소특성에 대한 수송기체 유량의 영향)

  • An experimental study was performed to investigate the combustion characteristics of the liquid hydrocarbon fuel atomized by an ultrasonic oscillator. Configuration of the flame was caught by the high-speed camera, and images were analyzed in detail through a post-processing. In addition, the fuel consumption was measured using the balance during the combustion reaction. As a result, the consumption of atomized fuel increased with the increasing flow-rate of carrier-gas, but any correlation between the air/fuel ratio and carrier-gas flow-rate was not found. The variation of flame area was dependent on the fuel consumption and input power of the ultrasonic oscillator. FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) analyses using the flame area were conducted in order to discuss flame flickering.

  • This paper presents a fabrication of a full-stale combustion chamber of a liquid rocket engine for a ground hot firing test. Engine drawings for manufacturing were prepared after conceptual and detail designs. The combustor is composed of a head and a chamber. SUS316L is used for materials of the head because of the good quality in low temperature. Inner materials of the ablative cooling chamber is silica/phenolic and outer case materials is the SUS316L. Materials of the regenerative cooling chamber are C18200 and SUS316L. After lathe, general milling and MCT machinings, components were finished by electrolytic polishing. A brazing method was applied for bonding the injectors and the injector plate, the regenerative cooling chamber because of structure configurations.

  • Effects of cavitation and hydraulic flip in circular and elliptical nozzles on the flow characteristics have been studied. Spray tests were conducted using injectors with different ratios of an orifice length(L) to a diameter(d) and of a major axis diameter(a) to a minor axis diameter(b). With the increment of an injection pressure drop, discharge coefficients slightly decreased in cavitation flows, and those suddenly dropped and were almost constant in hydraulic flip flows. For elliptical nozzles with L/b > 8 and L/a < 8, discharge coefficients and flow patterns showed different results from those in previous circular nozzles. When a flow in the elliptical nozzle was under steady condition, as the liquid column went downstream from the nozzle, its spray angle a little decreased in the plane of a major axis and increased in the plane of a minor axis.

  • An experimental study was carried out to investigate the injection characteristics of non-circular effervescent type twin-fluid nozzles. For this purpose, two types of non-circular nozzles (E1, E2) and one kind of circular nozzle (C) were used. At this time, the Aerorator mounted on the nozzle used three different diameters to match the aspect ratio with the nozzle exit area. Therefore, experiments were performed according to three aspect ratios for each nozzle, and a total experiments were conducted. Experiments were carried out by controlling the amount of air flowing after fixing the flow rate of the liquid, and the nozzle internal pressure and SMD were measured, and the jet image was taken from the nozzle. The discharge coefficients of the three kinds of nozzles were compared with the conventional equation and the Jedelsky's equation, and the Jedelsky's equation was found to be about 4 times larger. The droplet size (SMD) injected from the nozzle was found to be smaller in the non-circular shape than in the circular shape, which is expected to be caused by the difference of the discharge coefficient values.

  • 최근, 차세대 디스플레이, 터치스크린, 전자파 차폐 및 흡수 등의 분야에 응용하기 위해서 현재 주로 사용되고 있는 ITO박막을 대체하기 위한 연구가 활발하게 진행 되고 있다. ITO 박막은 희소원소인 인듐에서 기인하는 높은 비용뿐만 아니라 매장량도 한계가 있어 대체 재료의 개발이 시급하게 요구되고 있다. 더구나, 다양한 차세대 응용에 있어서는 투명전도성 뿐만 아니라 휠 수 있는 유연성까지 요구되어 ITO박막을 대체할 새로운 투명전도성 유연 박막의 개발에 관한 연구들이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 탄소나노튜브(CNT)는 금속을 능가하는 이론적인 전기전도도를 갖고 있으며, 높은 탄성등의 우수한 기계적 성질을 갖고 있어, 전도성 확보 및 유연성 구현이라는 투명전도성 플렉서블 박막소재에 요구되는 사항들을 충족시킬 뿐만 아니라, 최근의 대량 합성법등의 개발로 저가에 공급할 수 있다는 장점들이 있어 ITO대체 재료로서 주목을 받고 있다. 그러나, CNT는 튜브 사이에 강한 반데르발스 인력을 가지고 있어 용매 중에 분산하는데 많은 어려움이 있으며, 액상 분산과정을 통한 CNT기반의 플렉서블 박막 제작에 있어서 큰 과제로 남아있다. 본 연구에서는 플라즈마 기능화 처리를 통하여 CNT에 친수성을 부여하였고, 초음파 처리를 통하여 에탄올 중에 CNT를 균일하게 분산한 후, 스프레이 분사법을 이용해 투명 유연기판인 PET고분자 필름위에 균일 박막을 제작하였다. CNT는 아세틸렌 가스를 이용한 열화학증기증착법으로 1mm 이상의 길이를 갖는 수직배향 CNT를 합성하였으며, 이를 아르곤 및 암모니아 플라즈마로 기능화 처리를 실시하였다. 플라즈마 처리를 통해 기능화 된 탄소나노튜브는 플라즈마 처리되지 않은 탄소나노튜브와 분산 속도에서 현저한 차이를 보였다. 제작한 CNT 기반의 투명전도성 유연박막들은 막두께에 따른 전도도 및 투광도의 관계를 조사하였고, 기판에 분사된 CNT 박막의 표면 특성은 AFM, Raman, 접촉각 실험 등을 통하여 분석하였다.

  • Water injection pump outputs oil with high pressure during this process, seawater is injected into the well to recover the well pressure and maintain high productivity. A water injection pump has high productivity, and therefore, it serves as a key piece of equipment in marine plants. In this light, water injection pumps are being studied widely in industry. In this study, the rotor dynamics is analyzed to determine the natural frequency according to the bearing stiffness and operation speed change. This study aims to establish the pump reliability through critical speed, stability, and unbalance response analysis.

The effect of blasting and anodizing-combined treatment of implant surface on response of osteoblast-like cell (분사처리 후 양극산화 처리한 임플란트 표면이 골모 유사 세포의 반응에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine characteristics of implant surface with RBM and anodizing treatments, and to evaluate the responses of osteoblast-like cell (MG-63 cell). Materials and methods: Grade IV titanium disks were fabricated (Diameter 10 mm, thickness 3 mm). Anodizing treatment (ASD) group, RBM and anodizing treatment (RBM/ASD) group, control (machined surface) group were divided. In this study, osteoblast-like cell was used for experiments. The experiments consist of surface characteristics evaluation by FE-SEM images, energy dispersive spectroscopy and stereo-SEM. In order to evaluate cell adhesion evaluation by crystal violet assay and observe cells form by confocal laser microscopy. To assess cell proliferation by XTT assay, cell differentiation by RT-PCR and mineralization by Alizarin red S stain assay. ELISA analyzer was used for Quantitative evaluation. Comparative analysis was run by one-way ANOVA (SPSS version 18.0). Differences were considered statistically significant at P<.05. Results: In ASD group and RBM/ASD group, the surface shape of the crater was observed and components of oxygen and phosphate ions in comparison with the control group were detected. The surface average roughness was obtained $0.08{\pm}0.04{\mu}m$ in the control group, $0.52{\pm}0.14{\mu}m$ in ASD group and $1.45{\pm}0.25{\mu}m$ in RBM/ASD group. In cell response experiments, ASD group and RBM/ASD group were significantly higher values than control group in cell adhesion and mineralization phase, control group was the highest values in the proliferative phase. In RT-PCR experiments, RBM/ASD group was showed higher ALP activity than other groups. RBM/ASD group in comparison with ASD group was significantly higher value for cell adhesion and proliferation phase. Conclusion: In the limitation of this study, we are concluded that the surface treatment with RBM/ASD seems more effective than ASD alone or machined surface on cellular response.
