  • An optical parallel modified signed-digit(MSD) number adder system is proposed by using triple rail-coding input patterns and serial arrangement method of symbolic substitution. By combing overlapped arithmetic results. which are produced by encoding MSD input as triple rail-coding patterns. into the same patterns, symbolic substitution rules are reduced and also by using serialized and space-shifted input patterns in optical experiments, the optical adder without space-shifting operation, NOR operation and threshold operation is implemented.

  • 가상 성형 시스템은 실제 성형 수술을 시행하지 않은 상태에서도 성형 후의 형상을 가상적으로 시뮬레이션해 봄으로써 고객의 의사 결정과 성형의의 수술 계획 및 상담을 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 그래픽 시스템이다. 본 논문은 가변 워핑 마스크와 스머지 필터를 이용한 2D 가상 성형 시스템의 반자동 필드 워핑을 제안함으로써 가상 성형의 편의성과 실용성을 제고함에 그 목적이 있다. 제안된 2D 가상 성형 시스템은 마우스로 스머지 필터를 조작하여 얼굴 구성 요소의 윤곽 형상을 원하는 형태로 변형할 수 있는 직관적인 사용자 인터페이스를 제공한다. 얼굴 구성 요소의 스머징 전후의 윤곽선을 대상으로 다각형 근사화에 기반한 계층적 제어선 매핑을 통해 획득한 제어선 쌍들을 이용하여 반자동 필드 워핑을 수행함으로써 소스 제어선으로부터 목표 제어선까지 점진적으로 변해가는 다수의 중간 프레임들을 생성한다. 또한 이 반자동 필드 워핑을 수행할 시, 성형부위의 변형을 따라 단계적으로 모양이 변하는 가변 워핑 마스크를 사용함으로써 변형 부위 이외의 얼굴 구성 요소들에 대해서는 왜곡을 최소화하는 지역적 변형 특성을 제고한 것이 특징이다. 제안된 2D 가상 성형 시스템은 직관적이고 편리한 사용자 인터페이스를 제공할 수 있기 때문에 시간이 적게 소요되고 작업 피로도가 낮아 실용성이 높다. 따라서 비숙련자도 간단한 사용자 입력만으로 만족스러운 가상 성형 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 특히 짧은 시간 내에 성형의와 고객이 만족하는 직관적인 상담을 가능케 하는 것이 장점이다.

The Behavior of Silt due to Volume Deformation Tendency (체적변형 경향에 따른 실트의 거동)

  • The behavior of pure silt was investigated by using an automated triaxial testing device. The stress-strain behavior of silt due to the volume deformation tendency was compared with the behavior of clay prior to failure and behavior at failure under monotonic undrained compression and extension conditions. A pure silica flour was chosen to form samples. The isotropically normally-consolidated samples with 450 kPa of effective mean confining pressure and overconsolidated samples through unloading were tested. Based on the experimental results, it was qualitatively identified that the undrained strength of normally-consolidated silt increases due to its dilatant nature which is not seen in clay. Also the overconsolidated silt shows a significantly different behavior under the monotonic loadings due to the volume deformation tendency.

초음파 진동소자용 Fe-Co-Ge계 합금 복합체의 자기변형 특성 및 WC 첨가 효과

  • 평균 입도가 $100{\mu}m$$Fe_{36}Co_{62}Ge_2$ 합금 분말과 $10wt\%$의 페놀계 고분자 바인더, 그리고 평균 입도가 $1.36{\mu}m$인 WC 분말을 SPEX Mixer/Mill에 넣고 8시간동안 혼합한 후 $150^{\circ}C$에서 Warm press를 이용하여 0.9 ton 의 압력으로 2시간 동안 유지하였다. VSM을 사용하여 자기적 특성을 조사한 결과 WC의 첨가량이 증가할수록 포화자화값(Ms)는 $174\~128\;emu/g$로 감소하였다. 또한 스트레인게이지를 이용하여 자기변형을 측정하였다. WC의 분포를 알아보기 위해 전자현미경으로 복합체의 단면을 관찰하였다. WC의 함량이 $10\~30wt\%$로 증가할수록 밀도와 영률(Young's Modulus) 값이 각각 $5.15\~6.27\;g/cc,\;43.5\~93.6\;GPa$ 로 증가하였다. 특히 영률은 WC를 $30wt\%$로 첨가하였을 때의 값이 첨가하지 않았을 때보다 2배 이상 증가하였다. 그러나 비자성상의 첨가로 희석효과가 나타났으며 길이 방향으로의 자기변형값$(\lambda_{ll})$$d_{33}$의 경우 각각 $18\%$$20\%$ 정도가 감소되었다. 이러한 기계적 특성의 향상은 길이 10mm의 자기변형 복합체의 공진 주파수를 71 kHz 증가시키게 되며, 따라서 초음파 진동소자용으로서의 상업적 활용범위를 증가 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • In this paper, the DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform) based watermarking method for authentication and detection of image modification was proposed. The proposed algorithm inserts watermark into high frequency domain after 1-level wavelet transform by exchanging wavelet coefficients and embeds the characteristic values of high frequency domain of original image into the LSB part of watermarked image. Therefore, By extracting LSB values and watermark in the high frequency domain from the watermarked image, we can authenticate the image and detect modified positions.

  • In this paper, the multiwatermarking method to make it possible to the authentication, modification detection and copyright protection of the digital image was proposed. After the original image is transformed by the DWT(Discrete Wavelet Transform), the encrypted watermark information is embedded into the LSB(Least Significant Bit) of LL band on the low frequence domain for authenticating and detecting modified position in the image. And watermark information is embedded by exchanging the wavelet coefficient for the copyright protection. Thereby, we can authenticate the modification and detect the modified location by extracting the values of LSB on the low frequence domain. And we can perceive the copyright information of original image by extracting the embedded watermark on the high frequence domain.

  • Numerical model experiments of wave transformation due to the reclamation and the construction of breakwater in case of 50 years design wave were performed using time dependent mild slope equation included shoaling, refraction, diffraction, reflection and wave breaking. As waves propagate to the shore, wave height gradually diminishes by the bottom friction and wave breaking etc.. After the reclamation and the construction of 75 m length breakwater, wave height distributions in the lee of breakwater have the range of 29~128 cm. To make better the harbor tranquility the length of breakwater needs to extend more than 100 m. After the construction of breakwater, wave height in the lee of the structure was deduced over 80%.

  • The method to form the space of the pneumatic structures by internal pressure is classified greatly as the dual type with the nlty type. The shape of the pneumatic structures consists of the curved surface under uniform tension not greatly to be deformed by the design load and stress must not be concentrated also. Therefore, In this study, we have done the structural analysis of the unity typed pneumatic structures by the NASS which is the program for nonlinear analysis. The analytic model is a rectangular pneumatic membrane structures which have four side fixed edges. And we have done the nonlinear incremental analysis considering the orthotropic material.

  • The procedure of wave energy dissipation due to breaking has been investigated with trains of the regular wave. To obtain the data for wave breaking and its deformation, experiments have been conducted by utilizing a horizontal step adjoining to a combined slope of 1/20 and 1/10. After breaking the wave height decreases by dissipation but attains a stable value at some distance from the breaking point Experimental results show that the stable wave is considerably affected by the wave period. The study gives the general form of stable wave height A new one-dimensional wave deformation model is proposed. being coupled with an approximated shoaling coefficient before wave breaking and the new energy dissipation term after breaking. It was compared with the experimental data. It predicts well the wave height deformation before and after wave breaking even on the abrupt change of the depth.
