In this paper, we propose a visibility enhancement method using dehazing method in fog situation. The proposed method calculate low bound of the transmission rate that indicate fog rate and transmission that processed power operation in each pixel by the user's control. And we obtain the dehazed image using calculated transmission rate. Proposed method is possible real-time processing, because the method don't cause halo effect and drop operations from filtering by closed form. We can obtain the dehazed image in various fog conditions by user control that strength of removing fog can be adjusted according to the dgree of fog.

We propose the dehazing algorithm which consists of two main parts, the derivation of the Atmospheric light and adaptive transmission map. In the getting the Atmospheric light value, we utilize the quad-tree partitioning where the depth of the partitioning is decided based on the difference between the averaged pixel values of the parent and children blocks. The proposed transmission map is adaptive for each pixel by using the parameter ${\beta}(x)$ to make the histogram of the pixel values in the map uniform. The simulation results showed that the proposed algorithm outperforms the conventional methods in the respect of the visual quality of the dehazed images and the computational complexity.

This study is to make an effective forecasting model for turn-out rates of the candidates with their visibilities, which are measured in their names on the media during the election period. I make a regressive model, with the data of 2010 gubernatorial election in Korea, where turn-out rate is dependent variable and each candidate's visibility, incumbency effect, local control party effect, corruption effect, strategy voting effect, restrain effect as a mid-term evaluation, and policy effect are independent variables. I got the model, T = -4.65 + 1.02V + 16.90 I + 16.78L - 9.12 R, where T is turn-out rate, V is candidate's visibility, I is incumbent effect, L is local control party effect, and R is restrain effect. This function can be used to predict turn-out rates of the candidates in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Korea at a small outlay.

The study aims to understand how indirect hallyu experiences in the Chinese market affect Korea's national brand image and willingness to purchase Korean goods from the perspective of "content consumption" and "recognition of Korea's." To that end, a total of 178 Chinese university students in the Beijing and Shanghai regions were analyzed. According to research and analysis, the perception of indirect hallyu experience has had a positive affection not only on the Korean national image but also on the willingness to purchase Korean products. Also, the halo effect came as Korea's national image had a positive effect on quite a lot of intentions to buy Korean merchandise. The recognition of South Korea can be enhanced by the spread of hallyu, which can be a decisive gauge of a favorable impression of the country in a short time.

This study aims to suggest the improvement plan for clinical practice after examining the reality and the situation of clinical practice of EMT students. Clinical practice is as important as right to a variety of job experience in the convergence society and heating up according to appearance of NCS. Subjects were 115 EMT students. Data were collected for Jun. 16-17(2016), and analyzed by SPSS v. 18.0. Sophomores, who experienced only ER have a negative view about their future job prospect. On the other hand, juniors, who experienced ER and 119 rescue team have not virtually changed the way they view their future job prospect, supposedly due to the halo effect of the 119 rescue team clinical practices. Both groups wish to have opportunities to experience diverse clinical practices. This study suggests that will help students have a positive view about their job prospects by providing clinical practice institutions and solve the problem of difficulty in getting jobs.

We present the framework for JND based Illumination and Color Restoration Using Edge-preserving filter for restoring distorted images taken under the arbitrary lighting conditions. The proposed method is effective for appropriate illumination compensation, vivid color restoration, artifacts suppression, automatic parameter estimation, and low computation cost for HW implementation. We show the efficiency of the mean shift filter and sigma filter for illumination compensation with small spread parameter while considering the processing time and removing the artifacts such as HALO and noise amplification. The suggested CRF (color restoration filter) can restore the natural color and correct color distortion artifact more perceptually compared with current solutions. For the automatic processing, the image statistics analysis finds suitable parameter using JND and all constants are pre-defined. We also introduce the ROI-based parameter estimation dealing with small shadow area against spacious well-exposed background in an image for the touch-screen camera. The object evaluation is performed by CMC, CIEde2000, PSNR, SSIM, and 3D CIELAB gamut with state-of-the-art research and existing commercial solutions.

This paper presents a fast and high-quality haze removal method by the modification of the conventional transmission estimation process. In the conventional haze removal method, the halo and blocking artifacts arises while estimating the transmission. In order to effectively reduce the artifacts, the proposed method employs the maximum filter after the calculation of the dark channel. Because of the reduction of the artifacts, the proposed method can simplify the transmission refinement process without sacrificing the quality of the results: this paper proposes to use the single-channel guided filter instead of the multi-channel guided filter. The experimental results demonstrate that the quality of the dehazed results by the proposed transmission correction process is improved and the haze removal speed is increased by up to 59.6%, when compared to the conventional ones.

The goal of this study is to suggest various improvements and expanding strategies of the public library ecosystem. For this goal, researcher reviewed and analyzed the realistic landscapes and social recognitions about the public library ecosystem as local public goods, and discoursed the basic principles and structural terrain of public library ecosystem based on natural ecosystem. As a result, researcher proposed multifaceted alternatives (ensure library's identity and publicity applying Law of Karma, strengthen librarian's professionalism on the premise of overcoming the Minerva's syndrome, optimize the library service and collection management based on the Pareto principle, reduce reading room and differentiated program through resolution of Halo effect, eliminate usage bias by life cycle based on the Gauss distribution, acceptance of the digital paradigm and use-friendly spatialization that ruminates the Icarus paradox, incorporate small library into public library system through a clear understanding of the Gresham's law, and enforce communication and spread social and cultural value through the practice of the Pompeii paradox).
