본 연구는 각 프로세스가 조직에 미치는 상대적 영향을 고려한 조직 전체의 효율성을 평가하고, 조직의 효율성을 개선하기 위하여 조직을 구성하는 여러 프로세스 중에서 어떤 프로세스를 우선적으로 개선해야 하는지를 결정하며, 더 나아가 비효율적인 프로세스를 개선하기 위하여 어떤 프로세스를 벤치마킹해야 하는지를 결정할 수 있는 체계적인 방법을 제공한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 다음과 같은 중요한 세 가지 과정을 따른다. 첫째, DEA(data envelopment analysis)의 CCR 모형을 이용하여 프로세스의 투입요소와 산출 요소를 바탕으로 개별 프로세스의 효율성을 평가한다. 둘째, 도출된 개별프로세스의 효율성을 Lovell과 Pastor의 순수 산출요소(또는 투입요소) DEA 모형의 산출요소로 이용하여 서비스 단위 조직 전체의 효율성을 평가한다. 셋째, 앞서 도출된 개별프로세스의 효율성과 서비스 단위 조직의 전체 효율성을 각각 DT(decision tree)의 예측변수와 목표변수로 활용하여 각 서비스 단위 조직의 특성 및 상황에 따라 개선해야 할 프로세스를 선택하는 규칙을 생성한다. 제안한 방법을 통하여 기업은 비효율적 조직과 프로세스를 발견하고 조직의 효율성을 개선하기 위하여 어떤 프로세스를 우선적으로 개선해야 하는지를 결정할 수 있다. 이를 통하여 기업은 오늘날 기업 경쟁력의 핵심인 프로세스를 좀 더 효과적으로 평가 및 관리할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Based on the figure of Program's result, the measurement of National R&D Program efficiency cannot have reflected its characteristic. This study explores the way to integrate evaluators' recognition into program efficiency as a means of embodying its characteristic. As a way of integrating their recognition with evaluating efficiency, two methods are applied. One is AHP as for evaluators recognition and the other is DEA as for measuring efficiency. This study tries to show the effect of evaluators on program efficiency and compares the result with one which did not include their recognition. The study also implies that the recognition of evaluators should be considered when the program efficiency is measured. Furthermore, this study suggests that the participation and role of evaluators should be expanded into evaluation of program efficiency.

In this study the measures and methodology to evaluate the operational efficiency of ITS systems were developed. And they were applied for the ITS systems deployed in the ITS Model Cities in order to figure out their applicability for the operational efficiency evaluation of similar ITS systems which would be deployed in the future.

The software market has diversified service needs due to the expansion of the mobile market. To this end, the company intends to produce various apps by extending to the design domain based on the structured architectural assets of the domain market. In this study, we propose an evaluation model that can evaluate the efficiency for servicing assets that reflect the domain characteristics of architecture based on cloud. Based on the characteristics of ISO/IEC 25010 quality model of SQuaRE Series, a software evaluation standard, evaluation model sub-features for evaluating the efficiency of cloud-based asset data were constructed. When the architectural assets were designed as composite assets, they were designed to provide the flexibility of the evaluation model by applying the mandatory and optional evaluation elements of the sub-features that weighted the evaluation items according to the characteristics of the design domain.

Evaluating performance in public sector aims to enhance the efficiency of organizations. Evaluating the efficiency which is the ratio between input and output, organizations set directions of improvement. This research applied Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) useful to evaluating the efficiency of organizations in public sector. Decision Making Units(DMU) of this research are 21 Information Security Organizations of departments/agencies. As the results, the mean of efficiency score of 21 DMUs is a little more than 50%. Means of departments(8 DMUs) and agencies/committees(11 DMUs) are similar to the total efficiency score. For these results, the decision makers of the information security organizations in public sector have to strive to improve the inefficiency.

The purpose of this study is concerned with evaluating management performance in electronics and communication companies using DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) DEA is a linear programming based technique for measuring the relative performance of organizational units where the Presence of multiple inputs and outputs makes comparisons difficult. In this research. input variables are raw-material costs, number of employees, and production capacity Real production, sales revenue and net earning are suggested as output variables. Management performance of most companies are increased or equal during 97 and 98 fiscal year and input & output variables show high correlation.

현재 웹(Web)상에서 운용되고 있는 검색엔진의 활용실태에 관한 체게적 검토를통해 각 엔진에 대한 가능을 비교·분석함으로써 각각의 특징과 효율성을 평가해보고자하였다. 효율적인 검색을 위해서는 각 검색엔진의 특성을 파악하여야 하며 얻고자 하는 정보의 특성(정보분류, 사용분야, 정보 형태 등)에 의해서도 검색엔진의 선별이 필요하다. 검색엔진들은 자신만의 독특한 검색방법을 지니고 있으며 사용자 인터페이스, 질의(Query)의 형태와 검색결과에 차이를 보일 수있다. 그러나 이들 검색엔진의 효율성을 비교하기 위한 기준은 아직까지 정립되지 않았으며 학문적으로 검증된 명확한 기준이 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 검색엔진의 효율성 비교를 위해 현재 인터넷상에서 통용되고 있는 검색능력평가에 관한 보고서들에서 평가기준으로 삼고있는 기준들을 수집, 분석한후 가장 타당한 것으로 평가기준들을 선정, 체계화하는 작업을 선행하였다. 그리고 각 검색엔진의 검색효율성을 평가하여 그 결과를 분석함으로써 최적의 검색엔진 선택과 정확한 정보의 검색 및 활용에 일조하고자하였다.

The efficiency of fishway installed in rivers can be directly evaluated by means of fish monitoring. On the other hand, when it is difficult to monitor the fish in certain conditions, or when planning a fishway, the efficiency can be evaluated indirectly through the hydraulic analysis. In this study, the hydraulic analysis technique for evaluating the efficiency of a fishway was presented. The River-2D model with the fish physical habitat module was used for the analysis of the attraction efficiency, and the weighted usable area was proposed as an index of the efficiency. In the analysis of passage efficiency, the three-dimensional model, Flow-3D, was used as an evaluation tool to describe the fluid behavior on a hydraulic structure with free surface. The ice-harbor type fishway at Baekgok weir in the Deokcheon River was selected as a test-site, and the efficiency was estimated using the hydraulic analysis. And then it was compared with fish monitoring data acquired from the river. As a result, it is difficult to replace the hydraulic analysis results with the efficiency quantitatively, but it can help to grasp the general tendency.

The purpose of this paper is to measure and analyse the relative efficiency of 17 public libraries in Daejeon metropolitan city using Data Envelopment Analysis. In this paper, total staffs, total area, total holdings are used as library inputs and total circulations, total user visits are used as library outputs. The estimated results show that libraries operate at 64.15% efficiency and only 4 libraries are relatively efficient. Inefficiency of the public libraries was due to small use of outputs compared to inputs.

Gangwon-do has evaluated the result of technical support business and marketing support business separately as a part of enterprise support business, and the evaluation, targeting enterprises, has been restricted to the investigation of satisfaction only. The study develops the model that assesses the efficiency of the enterprises using DEA, the econometric model which is approved the utility in efficiency evaluation, and evaluates it through the model. As a result, the model can be developed to the appropriate variable of the enterprise support business using the elements of input and output in the business. And by using the model of DEA, it is suggested the efficiency measurement of each enterprises' and improvement that inefficient enterprises must have. Especially, it is important to assess the efficiency of supporting enterprises primary.
