본 연구는 연결어미가 글 이해와 기억에 미치는 영향을 조사하고, 연결어미의 효과와 글읽기 능력과는 어떤 관련성이 있는지를 조사하기 위해 실시되었다. 연결어미로는 인과 관계와 부가 관계를 나타내는 연결어미가 사용되었다. 앞뒤에 제시되는 두 문장의 국소적 응집성(Local coherence)을 형성하는데 연결어미가 도움을 준다면, 연결어미가 있는 경우에 문장을 이해하는 속도가 빨라지고 글 내용을 기억하는 데에도 도움을 줄 것으로 예측하였다. 만일에 글읽기 능력이 연결어미를 적절히 사용할 수 있는 능력에 의해서도 영향을 받는다면, 연결어미의 출현 여부와 읽기 능력간에 상호작용이 있을 것으로 예측하였다. 실험 1에서는 인과 관계 연결어미를 사용하여 문장 읽기 시간에 연결어미의 출현이 미치는 효과와 문장 회상에 미치는 효과를 조사하였다. 실험 결과, 인과 관계 연결어미는 뒤의 문장을 읽는데 촉진적인 효과를 주었으며, 이런 연결어미의 효과는 읽기 능력에 관계없이 일관된 촉진 효과를 나타냈다. 또한, 연결어미의 출현은 문장의 회상에 도움을 주었으며, 연결어미가 문장 회상에 미치는 효과는 읽기 능력의 상하에 관계없이 일관되게 나타났다. 실험 2에서는 부가 관계 연결어미가 문장 읽기 시간과 회상에 미치는 효과를 조사하였다. 실험 결과. 부가 관계 연결어미 역시 인과 관계 연결어미와 유사한 형태의 효과를 보였다. 실험 1과 실험 2의 결과는 인과 관계와 부가 관계 연결어미가 앞뒤 문장의 응집성 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 주고, 이런 연결어미의 글읽기에 대한 효과는 글읽기 능력에 관계없이 일정하다는 것을 시사한다.건이 복합 명사의 중심어 선택과 의미 결정에 재활용 될 수 있으며, 병렬말뭉치에 의해 반자동으로 구축되는 의미 대역 패턴을 사용하여 데이터 구축의 어려움을 개선하고자 한다. 및 산출 과정에 즉각적으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 이러한 정보들은 현재 구축중인 세종 전자사전에도 직접 반영되고 있다.teness)은 언화행위가 성공적이라는 것이다.[J. This study was performed to investigate the antioxidant activities and the melanin inhibitory effects of Hippophae rhamnoides L. fruit extracts. Two in vitro methods were used; the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method to determine antioxidant activity and measurements of the inhibitory effects of tyrosinase activity to determine melanogenesis in B16/F10 melanoma cells. The radical scavenging activity of the extract was 56.0% at $700{\mu}g/mL$, similar to ascorbic acid (56.9%), in the DPPH assay. The tyrosinase inhibitory activity of the extract was 52.1% and 73.4% at 100 and $500{\mu}g/mL$, which is also similar to ascorbic acid. In B16/F10 mouse melanoma cells, the extract inhibited melanin synthesis by 56% at $500{\mu}g/mL$, a more prominent inhibition of melanin synthesis compared to extracts from arbutin. These results suggest that extracts from H. rhamnoides L. have antioxidant activity and skin-whitening effects; allowing their application in cosmetics as a natural product.

Oleoresin was extracted from fresh garlic by microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) and its functionality and antibrowning effect were investigated at various extraction conditions. The yield and polyphenol contents of the garlic oleoresin were inversely related to extraction time. The highest yield was l2.9% and maximum polyphenol contents was 574.3 mg% when the oleoresin was extracted for 5 min with ethanol. Apparently, the electron donating abilities of garlic oleoresin increased with extraction time, but there were no significant differences among extraction time intervals. The highest nitrite scavenging effect was found at pH 1.2 and decreased as pH increased. Tyrosinase inhibitory effect was less than 30% for most garlic oleoresin but the 15 minute extraction with ethanol resulted in higher inhibitory effect. Angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory effect was highest (89.2%) when oleoresin extracted with ethanol for 20 min. The addition of cysteine, ascorbic acid and citric acid to oleoresin extracts retarded browning action of garlic oleoresin during 10 day storage. 0.1 % cysteine retarded browning reaction and some synergistic effect was found in the combination of citric acid and ascorbic acid.

Ixeris dentata extracts exllibited antimicrobial activity against some bacteria and fungi. Also EtOH extracts showed strong antioxidant activity and RC$_{50}$ value was 28 $\mu\textrm{g}$/mL. The inhibitory effect of Ixeris dentata on the mutagenicity in Salmonella and cytotoxicity on cancer cell were studied. Ixeris dentata extracts showed anti-mutagenic effects of 78.83 and 75.96% on B(a)P in S. typhimurium TA98 and Th100, respectively. These extracts showed 78.72% antimutagenicity on TA100 against MNNG. The Ixeris dentata extract with strong antimutagenic activities was further fractionated by hexane, ethyl acetate, butanol and water. Butanol fraction was found to be highest in antimutagenic activity against MNNG than the other fractions. Butanol fraction of Ixreis dentate revealed the highest cytotoxicity against AS49 human lung carcinoma cells in which cell growth was inhibited by 93.75% at 375 $\mu\textrm{g}$/mL. Hexane fraction of ixeris dentate exhibited 68.56% inhibition against MCF-7 human breast adenocarcinoma cells at 500 $\mu\textrm{g}$/mL. Hexane fraction of Ixeris dentata exhibited 84.91% inhibition against Hep 3B human hepatocellular carcinoma cells at 500 $\mu\textrm{g}$/mL. From these results, it is considered that Ixeris dentata has strong antimutagenic and anticancer effects in vitro. However, these extracts and fractions did not show any cytotoxic effect against 293 cells.

우리나라는 병해충 발생이 많고 토양도 너무나 척박하다. 친환경농자재의 효과는 논란의 중심에 서 있다. 특히 화학제품을 이용한 미량원소가 함유될 수 없기 때문에 미량원소 결핍현상도 자주 나타난다. 효과가 중요하지만 친환경농자재에서 효과를 얘기하는 것도 어려움이 많다. 양자를 조화시킨 한국형 과학영농이 논의되어야 할 시점이다.

낙농자조금사업의 궁극적인 목표는 우유는 완전식품으로 국민건강, 유아건강, 노후건강을 위해서 꼭 필요한 음식이라는 인식을 많은 국민들에게 심어주는 계기가 되었다. 낙농자조금사업 원년에 가시적인 효과를 거둔 것에 만족하지 말고 앞으로 더 많은 자조금이 모금되고 이를 이용한 우유의 소비촉진 홍보가 더 많이 전개될 것을 바라는 바이다.

대소의 하천은 민족의 젖줄이다. 우리는 이 젖줄에서 자라났고 앞으로 우리들의 후손들도 이 젖줄에서 자라날 것이다. 치수사업효과로는 대체로 그 사업이 실시되지 않는 경우에 생길 수 있는 홍수방지효과 즉 국토보전편익효과와 사업이 실시되지 않는 경우보다 더 고도의 토지이용을 가능케 하는 토지이용고도화 효과의 두 효과를 생각할 수 있다.

1. 본시험의 결과로는 30% 정도의 상엽부족은 상엽분말첨식의 효과를 인정할 수 있었다. 2. 상엽분말첨식의 경우는 수보다 자상액의 효과가 있었고 그 효과의 정도는 사육당시의 상엽자체의 수분율과 사육습도 등과 관계되는 것 같다.
