Analysis of Navigation Error According to Rotational Motions of Rotational Inertial Navigation for Designing Optimal Rotation Sequence (최적 회전 절차 설계를 위한 회전형 관성항법장치의 회전 동작별 항법 오차 분석)

  • This paper analyzes the navigation error for each rotational motion in order to design an optimal rotation sequence, which is a key technology in the rotational inertial navigation. Rotational inertial navigation system is designed to cancel out navigation errors caused by inertial sensor errors by periodically rotating the inertial measurement unit. A properly sequenced rotational motion cancels out the maximum amount of navigation error and is known as an optimal rotation sequence. To design such an optimal turning procedure, this paper identifies the feasible rotational motions that can be implemented in a rotational inertial navigation system and analyzes the navigation error introduced by each rotational motion. In addition, by analyzing the characteristics of the navigation error generated during a rotation sequence in combination, this paper presents the conditions for designing an optimal rotation sequence.

  • A displacement-based seismic design procedure was proposed for mid-to-low-rise steel moment frames. The proposed method was totally different from the current R-factor approach in that it directly uses available connection rotation capacity as a primary design variable. To this end, the relationship between available connection rotation capacity and seismic response modification (R factor) was established first; this relationship has been a missing link in current ductility-based design practice. A step-by-step displacement-based iterative design procedure was then proposed and verified using inelastic dynamic analysis.

  • 3MW 풍력발전기용 발전기의 구조적 특성을 소개하고 회전자의 동특성 해석을 수행하였다. 이 발전기는 증속기를 사용하였으며 정격속도는 1459 rpm 이며 30% over speed trip 조건을 적용하여 설계되었다. 회전자 pole에 전원 공급 없이 자기장을 만드는 영구자석을 사용하는 형태로 구조는 간단하다. 발전기의 냉각방법은 공극을 냉각하기 위하여 팬을 이용하여 공기를 순환하며 고정자 외형에는 냉각채널을 부착하여 냉각수를 순환한다. 회전기계의 설계 시에는 반드시 진동을 고려하여 가능하면 진동을 줄이는 방향으로 설계가 되어야 하며 회전축 계의 설계에 있어서는 계의 강도, 위험속도, 불평형 진동응답 및 안정성 등을 고려하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 물리설계를 기본으로 하여 설계된 발전기의 형상을 간단하게 설명하고, 발전기의 회전자를 상용 유한요소 해석 프로그램인 ANSYS 를 이용하여 해석을 수행하였다. 해석절차는 정적해석을 수행하고 다음으로 모드해석을 수행 하였다. 모드형상에 따른 주파수를 표기하고 해석 결과를 나타내었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 풍력발전기용 복합재 회전날개의 설계단계에서 공력 설계 후 결정되어진 공력 형상을 기초로 하여 구조적 형상설계를 수행 할 때에 여러 가지 경우의 형상을 해석하여 이중 설계요구조건에 적합한 경우를 채택하는 시행착오 방법으로 인한 비효율적인 요소를 배재 하기 위해 고전 적층판 이론을 기초로 한 해석 프로그램을 사용하여 예비설계를 수행하는 수정된 설계절차를 제안하였으며 예비설계단계에서 신속하고 신뢰성 있는 해석결과를 얻을 수 있었다.(중략)

  • Roundabout has circular traffic island in the intersection center and is kind of intersection where the automobile bypass circular traffic island. In Korea, the provisional Roundabouts Design Guidelines were published in 2004 by MLTM (Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs). This guideline did not discussed domestic traffic circumstance. It just only introduced foreign instances and their guidelines. In addition, the recent National Competitiveness roundabouts as part of the green growth has been concentrated on the interest. In this paper, 90 degree of the 4-legged roundabout was compared with 72 degree, 45 degree, and 30 degree 5-legged roundabouts by micro simulation VISSIM. As a result of analysis, average travel time is decreased when the inscribed circle diameter become bigger the roundabout. 5-legged roundabout until 2,000 volume per hour evaluated to be similar effect at 90 degree of 4-legged roundabout.

  • The rotational inertial navigation system can provide more accurate navigation information by mounting an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) on the gimbal and rotating the gimbal regularly to cancel out the errors of the IMU. However, when an attitude change occurs due to waves, the attitude error is not removed to 0 at the end of one cycle of the rotation procedure and causes a large position error. In this paper, considering this problem, we propose a method of stabilizing the external gimbal by rotating it based on the roll information of the vehicle. Based on simulation, the impact of waves is analyzed and the performance of external gimbal stabilization is verified.

  • In this paper, a systematic consequence of evaluation method, procedure, and flight data analysis is investigated for application of ADS-33E-PRF to UAV. And it is applied to unmanned rotorcraft for evaluation. CNUHELI-020, which is developed in Chungnam National University, is used for assessment of handling quality: decoupled longitudinal and lateral/directional model were used to assess handling qualities. Evaluation flight maneuvers are categorized as hover/low-speed requirements, small-amplitude attitude change, and moderate-amplitude attitude change requirements.

  • This study examined the diagnostics of abnormalities and faults of equipment, whose rotational speed changes even during regular operation. The purpose of this study was to suggest a procedure that can properly apply machine learning to the time series data, comprising non-stationary characteristics as the rotational speed changes. Anomaly and fault diagnosis was performed using machine learning: k-Nearest Neighbor (k-NN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), and Random Forest. To compare the diagnostic accuracy, an autoencoder was used for anomaly detection and a convolution based Conv1D was additionally used for fault diagnosis. Feature vectors comprising statistical and frequency attributes were extracted, and normalization & dimensional reduction were applied to the extracted feature vectors. Changes in the diagnostic accuracy of machine learning according to feature selection, normalization, and dimensional reduction are explained. The hyperparameter optimization process and the layered structure are also described for each algorithm. Finally, results show that machine learning can accurately diagnose the failure of a variable-rotation machine under the appropriate feature treatment, although the convolution algorithms have been widely applied to the considered problem.
