Computer Simulation of Cam-Type Transplanting Mechanism (캠식 식부 장치의 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션)

  • 4절 기구를 이용한 크랭크식 식부 장치는 원하는 제적을 비교적 쉽게 합성할 수 있지만, 그 구조상 발생하는 가진력에 의해 주축의 최대 회전 속도가 약 300 rpm 전후로 작업 속도는 약 0.8 m/sec로 한정되어 있다. 이러한 단점을 보완하고 기계 이용 수익을 높이기 위해 편심 기어열을 이용한 고속, 저진동의 로터리식 식부 장치에 대한 연구가 1984년 일본에서 시작되었다. 로터리식 고속 식부 장치는 현재 대부분의 승용 이앙기에 채택되어 있으며 최고 1.2m/sec의 속도로 작업할 수 있다(산경정남, 1986; 산경정남 등, 1989). 그러나, 전량 수입 및 기술 이전에 의존하는 로터리식 식부 장치는 다음과 같은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 1) 로터리식 식부 장치의 식부 궤적은 원에 가까운 난형을 가지므로 식부후 토양에 생기는 구멍이 크랭크식 식부 장치에 의한 것보다 커서 식부 자세가 불량하고 뜬묘가 많이 발생한다. 2) 로터리식 식부 장치의 식부 제적은 상하 방향의 길이가 크랭크식보다 짧아 앞서 이앙한 모의 줄기 부분이 겹치는 브릿지(bridge) 현상이 자주 발생하며 벼 생육에 불리하다. 3) 로터리식 식부 장치의 조당 수입 판매 가격은 약 30만원으로 6조식 승용 이앙기에 부착할 경우 국내 승용 이앙기 평균 판매 가격인 960만원의 약 19%인 180만원을 차지하여 국산 이앙기의 경쟁력을 감소시킨다.   • Development of an automatic TIG welding system incorporating a vision sensor and torch control mechanism leads to an improved welding quality and greater production efficiency. The automatic welding system should be greatly restricted in its size and weight for the LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) storage tank and also provide a unique torch rotating mechanism which keeps the torch tip in the constant position while the angle is changed continuously to maintain the welding torch substantially perpendicular to the weld line. The developed system is driven by two translation axes X, Z and one rotational axis. A moving line window method is adopted to the image recognition of the corrugated membranes with specular reflection. This method decides original laser stripe patterns in image which is affected by multi-reflection. A self-teaching algorithm, which guides the automatic welding machine with the information provided by the CCD camera without any previous learning of a reference trajectory, was developed for tracking the corrugated membrane of the LNG tank along the weld line.

  • Abstract 0.2 wt % $Fe_2O_3$ doped $SrTiO_3$ single crystals were grown by floating zone method in air and Nz atmosphere, respectively. The growth rate was fixed at 5 mm/hr and rotation speed was maintained at 30 rpm. As - grown crystals were cut perpendicular to its growth direction and then, annealed at 900, 1000 and $1100^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours in Nz atmosphere. Resistivities of each samples were measured and then converted into conductivities. By using these conductivity values, the activation energies were calculated and by means of the calculated activation energies, mechanism which contribute to increasing the electrical conductivity were investigated.

A Path Navigation Algorithm for an Autonomous Robot Vehicle by Sensor Scanning (센서 스캐닝에 의한 자율주행로봇의 경로주행 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, a path navigation algorithm through use of a sensor platform is proposed. The sensor platform is composed of two electric motors which make panning and tilting motions. An algorithm for computing a real path and an obstacle length is developed by using a scanning method that controls rotation of the sensors on the platform. An Autonomous Robot Vehicle(ARV) can perceive the given path by adapting this algorithm. A sensor scanning method is applied to the sensor platform for using small numbers of sensor. The path navigation algorithm is composed of two parts. One is to perceive a path pattern, the other is used to avoid an obstacle. An optimal controller is designed for tracking the reference path which is generated by perceiving the path pattern. The ARV is operated using the optimal controller and the path navigation algorithm. Based on the results of actual experiments, this algorithm for an ARV proved sufficient for path navigation by small number of sensors and for a low cost controller by using the sensor platform with a scanning method.

  • 최근 인간과 유사한 휴머노이드에 대한 연구가 상당히 활발하고 그 영역이 계속해서 확대되고 있는 추세다. 휴머노이드에는 로봇의 몸체 뿐 아니라 머리 부분, 특히 시각 시스템이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 생리학적인 측면에서 인간의 눈과 목의 운동을 관찰하여 휴머노이드에 적용 가능한 능동 시각 시스템의 기구부 설계 방법을 제안하고 제어 방식을 설명한다. 기존의 팬-틸트 방식의 시각 시스템에 없는 인공 안구의 롤 회전 기능을 추가함으로써, 사람의 시각 시스템과 거의 유사한 동작 영역과 동작 속도를 보이게 된다. 소형 비전센서 모듈을 사용함으로써 시스템의 크기가 줄고 경량화 되었다. DC 모터를 엑츄에이터로 사용함으로써, 위치와 속도 제어가 가능하고, 인간 안구의 단속적 운동을 모사 할 수 있다.

  • Most of conventional ultrasonic transducers are constructed to generate either longitudinal or shear waves, but not both of them. We investigated the mechanism of dual mode transducers that generates both of the longitudinal and shear waves simultaneously with a single PZT element. A piezoelectric ceramic PZT has the hexagonal 6mm crystal symmetry, after poling. We studied the performance of a PZT element as a function of its rotation angle so that its efficiency is optimized to excite the two waves equally strongly. The results are verified by checking the impedance variation of the element with Finite Element Methods, and checking the wave form by pulse-echo test simulation. Validity of the theoretical calculation is verified through experiments.

  • A $Ba_{2}Co_{2-x}Zn_{x}Fe_{12}O_{22}(x\;=\;0.0~2.0,\;Co_{2-x}Zn_{x}Y)$ powder was prepared by a oxidation--coprecipitation method and sintered at $1150~1250^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours. The microstructures and magnetic properties(saturation magnetization, Curie temperature), complex permeability of sintered body were measured As increasing Zn content from x = 0 to 2.0 in $Co_{2-x}Zn_{x}Y$, the real value of complex permeased from 7 GHz to 1 GHz. Because of resonance in few GHz range, Y-type hexagonal ferrite is rmre applicalble than spinel ferrite in high frequency range, and more research would be necessary to find the mechanism of the second resonance observed in higher frequency.

  • $200{\AA}$ thick Co/Pd multilayered thin films were fabricated by sputtering. Two thicknesses of cobalt sublayer, $2{\AA}$ and $4{\AA}$ were chosen and the effects of sputtering pressure on the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy were investigated. It has been found that the optimum pressure for maximum perpendicular magnetic anisotropy(PMA) existed and the pressure for maximum PMA was lower for the multilayer with $2{\AA}$ cobalt layer than that with $4{\AA}$ cobalt thickness. As the sputtering gas presssure increased, domain wall motion with magnetization became difficult and the predominant mode of magnetization reversal changed from domain wall motion to magnetic moment rotation. It turned out that the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy was higher in case of $2{\AA}$ cobalt thickness than $4{\AA}$ cobait thickness.

Systematic error calibration of 2-axis lateral shearing interferometer (2축 층밀리기 간섭계의 계통오차 보정)

  • We present a new self-calibration method to remove the systematic error of a 2-axis lateral shearing interferometer that has been specially designed for optical testing of aspheric optics. The method takes multiple measurements by rotating the test optics and extracts the systematic error by fitting the measured wavefronts into the Zernike polynomials. The method works with arbitrary azimuthal angles for test optics rotation, which offers an advantage of correcting the error induced by the non-orthogonality of the two axes of wavefront shearing as well as the error caused by the optical components of the interferometer system itself.

  • Apparatus of rotating disk and cup are widely used spray paintings and industrial boilers. This study was conducted experimentally to investigate the characteristics of liquid atomization in a rotating disk atomizer by means of viscous liquid mixed water and glycerin. The Purpose of this study are to observe breakup mechanism according to the variation of supplied flow rate $0.4{\sim}30 cm^3/s$ and rotating speed $200{\sim}4000rpm$, and to investigate three kinds of breakup Pattern such as drop ligament and film formation by comparing the transition flow rate. ligament number and ligament length to those of Tanasawa and Matsumoto's empirical formula. The results are as follows ; The higher it makes use of viscous liquid. the better it get the characteristics of breakup mechanism. Also When I compared practical value with experiential value at similar test conditions. it was shown similar tendency though were a little variation.
