K. Suwab, a chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), reported the emerging of the $4^{th}$ industrial revolution by the convergence of artificial intelligence and robot as well as the fusion of true and virtual reality in the WEF 2016. He suggested the $4^{th}$ industrial revolution would change greatly the paradigm of industry and society in the future, and damage the security and quality of the human job severely. In this review the argument of terminology, the impacts on economics, industry technologies and jobs by the $4^{th}$ industrial revolution have been discussed. And the role of magnetics on the 2-4th industrial revolutions was reviewed briefly.

최근 건설경기 침체에 따라 하도급 대금을 현금으로 지급하지 않고 불법 장기어음이나 미분양 아파트로 대물변제 등의 불법 하도급대금 지급행위를 근절하기 위해 국토해양부가 지난 1월 28일부터 '하도급대금 지급확인제도' 시행에 들어갔다. 하도급대금 지급확인제도는 원도급자가 하도급자에게 지급한 공사대금 내역과 하도급자가 수령한 하도급 대금을 발주자가 직접 비교 확인하여 하도급 대금의 적정지급 여부를 점검토록 한 것으로, 국토부 산하 지방청(국토관리 해양항만 항공)과 공사 공단에 전담부서를 지정하여 수시로 지급실태를 점검하고, 5개 국토관리청이 관할 구역 내에 공공발주 공사에 대하여 하도급대금 시급 실태를 총괄 관리하는 제도이다. 이 제도의 시행으로 공공공사에서는 불법 하도급대금 지급행위를 원천 차단 하여 불법 부당한 대금지급 관행이 근절될 것으로 기대된다. 이같은 제도를 시행하게 된 것은 그동안 대한설비건설협회(회장 강석대)가 불법 하도급대금 지급 근절을 위해 끊임없이 건의한 결과이다. 협회는 그동안 2차례에 걸친 국토부 차관과의 간담회를 비롯하여, 한나당 및 국토부 등 관련기관에 수차례에 걸쳐 건의했으며, 특히 연말에 이명박 대통령께 직법 건의하는 등 불법 하도급대금의 근절을 위해 많은 노력을 기울였다. 협회의 이러한 건의에 대해 국토부가 일정 부분을 수용함으로써 이 제도가 시행된 것이다.

The mechanism of the contractile response of longitudial muscle of rabbit ileum to substance P (SP) has been investigated. The contractions in rabbit ileum under various conditions were recorded isometrically The following results were obtained. 1) The contractions by SP increased according to concentrations. SP·induced contraction was not sustained but faded rapidly at $10^{-7}M$. The response to the commutative addition of SP was decreased in comparison to the response to separate administration of each concentration . 2) The response to $10^{-8}M$ SP after 5 min application cf $10^{-7}M$ SP was increased with increasing the time interval between the administration of $10^{-7}$ and $10^{-8}M$ SP. 3) The treatment of rabbit ileum by $10^{-7}M$ SP for 5 min didn't decrease the response to $10^{-6}M$ acetylcholine. 4) $10^{-6}M$ atropine had no effect of the contractile response to $10^{-7}M$ SP. The response to $10^{-7}M$ SP was normal or subnormal in the presence of 3 mM tetraethylammonium(TEA). 5) 100k solution, $10^{-4}M$ ouabain, and Na-free solution inhibited the response to $10^{-8}M$ SP and 3 mM TEA completely, and to $10^{-7}M$ SP incompletely. 3 mM TEA induced a considerable contraction in K-free solution, but $10^{-8}M$ SP didn't induce the contraction. $10^{-6}M$ norepinephrine decreased the contractile responses to SP and TEA. 6) The contractile response to $10^{-7}M$ SP was dependent on the extracellular $Ca^{2+}$ concentrations to 1.8 mM. 7) The contractile response to $10^{-7}M$ SP remained 15% of the maximal response after bathing the ileum in a Ca-free solution for 2.5 min. 8) The responsiveness to SP was completely lost within 10 min of bathing in Ca-free solution, but was restored by the exposure to $Ca^{2+}$. The restorative effect of $Ca^{2+}$ depended on the concentration of $Ca^{2+}$, and on time for which the tissue exposed to this $Ca^{2+}$ concentration. These results suggest that there are two mechanisms of the action by which the low concentrations of substance P causes the contraction of intestinal smooth muscle: the reduction of K conductance and a mechanism dependent on the extracellular $Ca^{2+}$, and that high concentration of SP may elicit a contraction by releasing $Ca^{2+}$ from an intracellular store, which is not as sensitive to removal of extracellular $Ca^{2+}$ or as easily accessible to EGTA as the extracellular space of the muscle. The location of this store is not known; it may be associated with the internal side of the cell membrane.

우리 학회에서는 최근에 폐탄광지 복구에 관한 관심이 고조되고 있으며, 특히 금년내 적당한 시기에, 되도록 빠른 시일 안에 폐탄광지 복구에 관한 국제 심포지엄을 개최할 계획을 가지고 있으나, 아직 학회 설립이후 이 분야에 관한 연구활동이 다소 일천하므로 기초자료준비가 미진한 상태에 있는 현실이다. 이러한 현실적인 상황하에서 필자는 학회의 회장으로서 학회와 회원들의 연구활동지원을 위한 기초적인 자료라도 수집 제공해야 되겠다는 취지를 가지고 이런 저런 일을 진행하고 있다. 이와 같은 학회활동의 하나로 우선 지난 5월 15일부터 20일까지 중국 북경시 신대도(新大都)호텔에서 중국토지학회(中國土地學會) 중국토지부간학회(中國土地復墾學會) 주최로 개최된 "북경 국제토지부간학술연토회(北京 國際土地復墾學術硏討會)" 심포지엄(Beijing International Symposium on Land Reclamation ISLR 2000 - Mine Land Reclamation and Ecological Restoration for 21st Century)에 참석하여 국제적인 상황을 파악할 수 있도록 한 바 있다. 또한 한국의 "폐탄광지역의 산림훼손지 복구 및 폐석유실 방지대책에 관한 고찰" 원고를 우리 학회지에 투고 게재하여 우리 나라의 폐탄광지 복구에 대한 현황을 개략적으로 이해할 수 있도록 하고저 한다. 이와 같은 일을 하다보니, 우리 학회에서도 석탄광산에 관한 전문용어를 파악해야 되겠다는 필요성에 따라서 우선 필자가 가지고 있는 제반 용어자료(참고문헌 제시)를 종합적으로 정리하여 이 용어집을 발표하고자 한다. 이 "소고(小考)" 용어집은 시기적으로 우리 학회 회원들의 필요성에 의해서 편집된 "초고(草稿)" 수준이며, 약 860 용어가 영문 국문(ABC순)/국문 영문(ㄱㄴㄷ순)으로 편집되었다. 이 용어집은 장차 우리 학회에서 용어제정의 기회가 있을 때에는 귀중한 표준 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 이 용어집은 우리 학회 제정 표준용어집이 아니라 단순히 필자의 연구자료(안)로 보아야 할 것이다.

산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국생산기술연구원이 주관하는 "제8회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상"시상식이 이번 달 10일 일산 킨텍스 그랜드볼룸에서 열린다. 미래지식산업인 패키징산업 종사자의 긍지와 자부심 함양의 계기를 실천하고, 패키징산업 종사자의 사기진작과 패키징산업 활성화를 도모하기 위해 매년 진행되고 있는 미래패키징신기술 정부포상은 패키징산업 기술인의 기술개발 의욕을 고취하고 패키징산업 기술성과 및 산업발전 기여도에 대한 정부포상를 실현하며 패키징산업 종사자간 정보교류 극대화 및 공동체 의식 함양으로 일체감을 조성시켜왔다는 평가를 받고 있다. 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상은 기업부문 및 학생부문, 그리고 공로부문으로 나누어 수상자를 선정, 진행되고 있다. 기업부문은 패키징 완제품, 친환경패키징, 패키징관련기계(설비) 및 관련부품, 패키징인쇄(라벨링), 패키징원부자재 생산 및 가공공정, 패키징디자인 등의 분야에서 신기술 개발 또는 개선으로 수출신장, 매출 수익 증대 및 발명특허 획득을 통해 패키징 기술력 발전에 기여한 기업의 패키징제품 또는 패키징디자인을 대상으로 하고 있으며, 학생부문은 패키징 디자인 관련분야 전공자로 패키징과 연관된 컨셉으로 상품성, 창의성, 표현성, 친환경성, 지속가능성 등이 어우러진 독창적인 패키징제품 또는 패키징디자인을 대상으로 진행하고 있다. 또한 공로부문은 패키징 산업 관련 산업계, 학계, 연구계, 유관기관에 종사하는 자로서 패키징 관련 핵심 기술개발, 경영, 마케팅 면에서 패키징 산업 발전에 기여한 공적이 뚜렷한 자, 패키징산업발전 정책연구 및 패키징산업 육성에 기여한 기업 또는 개인을 대상으로 하고 있다. 제8회 미래패키징 신기술 정부포상 심사 결과 (주)연우의 'One Material Pump-Bellows'를 비롯 총 4개사가 산업통상자원부 장관상 수상자로 선정됐으며, 공로부문에서는 (사)한국포장협회의 한용교 명예회장((재)한용교장학재단 이사장)과 김형빈 한국공업포장협회 부설 수송포장기술연구소 소장이 수상자로 선정됐다. 본 고에서는 수상작 및 수상자들의 활약상을 살펴보도록 한다.

Along the information technology progresses, the demand for the educational application increases which derives the need for cyber education. Cyber education should take the knowledge construction model rather than the knowledge delivery model. For the educational paradigm shift by cyber education, 'Project-Based Learning' and 'Cyber Learning Community' need to be adopted. In this study, project-based cyber learning community for teacher education is developed with 5 major categories: Home(community vision, general information, project list, Q&A), project learning center(preparation for the instructional activities, group-based learning activities, presentations), meeting plaza(request for group mentoring, sharing ideas, meeting specialist, survey participating, forum participating, result presentation), references(cases of project studies, materials for project studies, materials for teacher education, general materials), management(project management, project cases, idea bank, finding partners, dialog with instructors, sharing references, sharing experiences, survey, forum).

This study has focused on the possibility for recycling tailings from the Sangdong tungsten mine as admixture for concrete. The XRD(X-ray diffraction analysis) and PSA(Particle size analysis) were performed to find mineralogical characteristics. As a result of XRD analysis, the tailings from the Sangdong tungsten fine were composed of quartz, chlorite, anorthite and cordierite etc. As a result of KSLT for cement mortar mixed with tailings from the Sangdong tungsten mine, most of heavy metals were determined as below the guide line for waste material. In addition, the setting time and compressive strength of cement mortar mixed with tailings from the Sangdong tungsten mine were investigated. It was indicated that the initial and final set were retarded according to increasing replacement of tailings from the Sangdong tungsten mine. The compressive strength of mortar was decreased with increasing replacement of failings from the Sangdong tungsten mine.

The industrial minerals play an important role in mining sector. More than 70 % of total mineral production come from industrial mineral sector. This paper reviews geological occurrence of kaolin, pyrophyllite and limestone, and current demand-supply status of major industrial minerals in the Republic of Korea. The kaolin is mainly distributed in the Kyeongsang province, formed by deep weathering of Precambrian anorthosite on mountainside of gentle slope. The pyrophyllite mainly occurs in the Kyeongsang and Chulla provinces, formed by hydrothermal alteration of late Cretaceous andesitic and rhyolitic rocks. Pyrophyllite comprises massive and lenticular bodies and contains minor amounts of kaolin, alunite and pyrite, in some places andalusite and illite. The limestone(Great Limestone Series of Cambrian age) is distributed widely in the Kwangwon and Chungcheong provinces. The limestone bodies are approzimately 70 km long and 3 km wide, elongated NE-ward, and show high grade of CaO content. In 1992, the self-sufficiency ratio of 44 nonfuel (metallic and non-metallic) minerals was no more than 30 percent. However, the ratio of 27 industrial minerals (non-metallic) represents high value of about 72 percent. The export/productjon ratio of the industrial minerals shows decreasing patterns from 12.2 % in 1983 to 4.2 % in 1992. Also the import/production ratio shows rapidly decreasing pattern from 84 % in 1983 to 38.2 % in 1992.

Intestine is innervated by an interconnected plexus of both sympathetic and parasympathetic nerve fibers. Sympathetic influence causes inhibition of intestinal motility mediated by both ${\alpha}-\;and\;{\beta}-adrenergic$ receptors. The mechanism of intestinal relaxation by ${\beta}-receptors$ has been extensively studied, but the function of ${\alpha}-receptors$ in intestinal motility is still unclear. Although it is suggested that catecholamine reduces acetylcholine release and this may play an important role in ${\alpha}-receptor$ mediated intestinal relaxation, there is no definite evidences about the mechanism and site of action of ${\alpha}-receptor$ mediated relaxation. In this experiment, therefore, the effect and site of action of ${\alpha}-receptor$ agonists were investigated in the guinea pig ileum using electrical field stimulation. The results are summarized as follows : 1) Electrical field stimulation elicited tonic contraction in isolated guinea pig ileum ana this contraction was completely inhibited by the pretreatment of tetrodotoxin or atropine. 2) Norepinephrine, epinephrine and dopamine inhibited the contraction induced by electrical field stimulation but methoxamine and phenylephrine had little effects. 3) Inhibitory effects of norepinephrine and dopamine was partially blocked by yohimbine and phentolamine pretreatment. But haloperidol and propranolol pretreatment cause no effects on the electrical field stimulation induced contraction. Inhibitory effect of dopamine was completely blocked by both haloperidol and yohimbine pretreatment. 4) Inhibitory effects of norepinephrine and dopamine were little affected by the pretreatment with hexamethonium. It is suggested that electrical field stimulation causes tonic contraction of guinea pig ileum by releasing acetylcholine from postganglionic fiber, and this release is blocked by presynaptic ${\alpha}-receptor$ activation.
