A Study on the Demographic Characteristics and Job Satisfaction in Fashion Companies (패션기업의 인구통계적특성에 따른 근무만족도에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to figure out the relation between the demographic characteristics and job satisfaction of those who work at fashion companies. The subject of this study is those who work at fashion companies beyond the small and medium sized businesses and designer brand employees in Busan. We used SPSS/WIN 10.0 to analyze the data for this study. The job satisfaction was found to increase in proportion to the satisfaction with the job itself, the senior of official, wage and colleagues, which increases along with the level of post. The job satisfaction was found to be proportional to the level of work specialization, satisfaction with the company and welfare. The job satisfaction and the performance would improve if the work environment for employees is made better by making their works more diverse and discretionary to ensure a successful growth of fashion companies.

  • In this paper, we investigated the satisfaction of incorporation founder through the Startbiz System. We also expected that the research results contribute to draw the development plan of Startbiz System afterward. The satisfaction in the Startbiz System was investigated in four dimensions such as the company establishing service, the website quality, the business promotion environment of the associated organizations, and providing information. The satisfaction appeared for the order of the company establishing service, providing information, the website quality, and the business promotion environment of the associated organizations. It's necessary to improve of the business promotion environment of the associated organizations for activating an incorporation utilizing the Startbiz System.

  • 안전한 선박운항과 해양사고 예방을 위해서는 선박소유자를 비롯한 해운회사 경영진의 안전의식 내재화와 안전을 최우선으로 생각하는 인식의 변화가 요구된다. 그러나 해양사고 예방을 위한 교육은 주로 선박운항 종사자를 대상으로 시행되고 있고 안전의 최고 의사결정자인 선사의 경영진을 대상으로 한 교육 프로그램은 부족한 상황이다. 이에 해양수산부에서는 2015년부터 선사 CEO 해양안전리더 교육을 실시하고 있다. 이 교육의 대상은 해운선사의 경영진이며 안전에 대한 이론, 실무, 타 회사의 안전경영 사례 등을 공유하여 교육수료자가 해양안전 리더로서 선도적으로 안전경영을 해나가도록 유도하고 안전문화를 정착시키는데 목적을 두고 있다. 따라사 교육 프로그램의 내용과 교육대상자의 교육만족도는 향후 교육 프로그램의 개선, 발전을 위해 중요한 사항이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 해양안전리더 교육 프로그램의 만족도를 조사하여 분석함으로써 교육과정 개선 등에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

User's emotions expressed while using a product and user's satisfaction with the product (제품 사용 중 표출되는 사용자의 감성과 제품 만족도)

  • Due to recent interest in user experience and its significance, much research surrounding this theme is now being conducted. In this research, I investigated user experience during usage of a product and the satisfaction acquired by it, as well as the relationship between satisfaction of having used a product and whether the user would be more likely to purchase another product from the same company. The same experiment was conducted in South Korea and the United States of America in order to get more generalized experimental results. I found that amongst the six representative user emotions expressed while using a product, two of them correlated the most. First, 'Satisfaction in Usability' (the emotions aroused by satisfaction with usage or the practicality of the product); and second, 'Discomfort or Displeasure' (uncomfortable or unpleasant emotions expressed while using a product. The above two factors were found to be of the most influence concerning satisfaction of the product. Also 'Satisfaction in Usability' was found to be of the most influence in their preferability towards purchasing an item from the same company in the future. The significance of this finding is that aside from focussing on the attractiveness of the product's exteriors and design, one should be concerned on the ease of usage and effectiveness as well as usability of the product, all of which contribute to how efficiently a consumer will utilize the product. Furthermore, in agreement with previous research concerning the correlation between satisfaction of a product and positive perspective on consecutive purchases, the result of this study shows that the more satisfaction consumers feel after using a product, the more likely they are to purchase additional merchandises from the same company which manufactured the original product.

  • In this study, we investigate various factors affecting five kinds of life planners' satisfaction after turnover which are general, human relations within organization, sales environment support, economic, life planner management system. Also we suggest theoretical and practical implication to them. The results of survey of life planners are as follows. First, in the general life planners' satisfaction after turnover, insurance company belonged to, recognition on own sales ability, life planners' satisfaction level, financial and insurance related award, education level, marital status, size of branch, and surrounding recognition about life planner are influential factors on it. Second, factors which affect the life planners' human relations satisfaction within organization after turnover are size of branch, surrounding recognition about life planner, and insurance company belonged to. Third, factors which affect the life planners' sales environment support satisfaction after turnover are surrounding recognition on life planner, insurance company belonged to, certificates relating to finance or insurance, size of branch, Fourth, in the solicitors' economic satisfaction after turnover, mainly demographic factors such as education level, marital status, age are crucial to it and also life planners' satisfaction level is influential factor. Last, in the solicitors' management system satisfaction, only experienced turnover type is a influential factor.

Satisfaction Analysis of On-board Training in Shipping Companies: Impacts on Company Improvement Plans (위탁승선실습 만족도 분석을 통한 개선 방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the regulations and operational problems of on-board training, and to investigate and analyze the satisfaction level of consignment on-board training among students who completed their training at Korea Maritime & Ocean University. In terms of satisfaction differences by gender, female students generally had a higher relative satisfaction level than male students. The different types of satisfaction in the navigation and engineering categories, the overall practical effect and satisfaction level of the training records shows that the satisfaction level of the trainee is much lower than that of the trainee, so relevant educational institutions and shipping companies need to take measures to improve the satisfaction level of this part. The most important part of the comprehensive company evaluation completed by trainees asked whether they thought the training was equivalent in labor to the employees. Results suggest shipping companies must make a clear distinction between employees and trainees, while establishing relevant internal procedures so that the on-board training process can be carried out in accordance with the purpose of the on-board training consignment.

  • This study will first take a look at the work situations depending on functions or duties taken in fashion organizations in Busan, dividing the work condition into aspects such as special traits of the work, satisfaction level on the company and satisfaction level on welfare. This study has set the following study questions to reach the goal of this research: 1. look at special traits found depending on vital statistics. 2. The satisfaction level on special traits of the work and work itself showed that the diversity of work, importance of work and work flexibility were the key elements that influenced the satisfaction level. 3. The satisfaction level on company and work itself had pride and loyalty, the only factors that influenced work satisfaction level voluntarily, and the other factors had no effect on the satisfaction level. 4. The satisfaction level on welfare and work itself showed that the welfare benefits and welfare policies had no voluntary influence on the satisfaction level on the work itself.

A Study on the Factors Affecting the Responses after Volunteering Activities among Corporate Volunteers (기업자원봉사자의 자원봉사반응에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 연구)

  • This study is aimed to investigate the factors predicting the responses after volunteering activities among corporate volunteers. While positive responses to volunteering are conceptualized as both the degree of satisfaction from volunteering and the perceived contribution of volunteering, negative responses are conceptualized as the degree of burnout. Family supports, the volunteering support system of corporation, various human relations in volunteering sites are selected and empirically tested as variables predicting the differential responses after volunteer activities. Questionnaire data were collected from 250 corporate volunteers and analyzed through hierarchical regression analysis. The results showed that while family supports have no significant effects on volunteering responses, corporate support system of volunteering have significant effects. Additionally, human relations with clients and volunteers managers have strong and positive significant effects on positive responses including the degree of satisfaction and the perceived contribution. However, no significant effect has been found on negative responses represented by burnout. Findings from this study emphasized the importance of human relations management in volunteering sites for corporate and nonprofit volunteer managers to increase the positive response from corporate volunteers.

  • This research proposed leader's supervisory behavior as antecedent variables of salesperson's job satisfaction which had been not tested at Brown and Peterson's (1993) empirical study and used organization citizenship as consequences of job satisfaction which was widely tested at the organization related literatures. According to research outcomes, leader behavior influence job satisfaction and organizational citizenship was turned out. to be outcome of salesperson's job satisfaction. But, on the contrary to our expectation, organizational citizenship has nothing to do with salesperson's intention to stay organization. Thus, it could be said that salesperson's intention to stay and organizational citizenship were mutually exclusive outcomes variables of job satisfaction and there is no causal relationship between these two constructs. Also, as it was to be in Brown and Peterson's (1993) empirical study, it was confirmed that leader's supervisory behavior influences commitment and citizenship behavior indirectly through salesperson's job satisfaction. We proposed that sales managers concern about salesperson's job satisfaction and commitment to prevent salespersons from turnover. Especially, commitment to organization is turned out to be very important factor in salesperson management in considering that it influences salesperson's intention to stay and accommodates salesperson's prosocial behavior.
