  • The telecare medical information system (TMIS) supports convenient and rapid health-care services. A secure and efficient authentication and key agreement scheme for TMIS provides safeguarding electronic patient records (EPRs) and helps health care workers and medical personnel to rapidly making correct clinical decisions. Giri et al. proposed an RSA-based remote user authentication scheme using smart cards for TMIS and claimed that their scheme could resist various malicious attacks. In this paper, we point out that their scheme is still vulnerable to lost smart card attacks and replay attacks and propose an improved scheme to prevent the shortcomings. As compared with the previous authentication schemes for TMIS, the proposed scheme is more secure and practical.

  • Now a days, U-healthcare comes into the spotlight as a new business model which combines RFID technology with medical service in the well-being era and IT popularization. U-healthcare service needs a method that can deals with hand-writing, overlap data, forgery and falsification of data, difference between information version that happen in medical process because of graft between RFID technology and u-healthcare. This paper proposes RFID based user certification protocol to protect user's privacy who gets medical service through U-healthcare. In the protocol, secret information of patient does the XOR with the secret key that is created in the hospital to reconsider the stability of security system of U-healthcare and user's data forgery and falsification and privacy and then saves it in the secret key field of patient in DB table. Also, it informs the case of illegal access to certification server and make it approved the access of u-healthcare service by differentiating whether u-healthcare is illegal or not.

  • With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing are driving innovation across industries. These technologies are generating massive amounts of data that many companies are leveraging. However, there is a notable reluctance among users to share sensitive information due to the privacy risks associated with collecting personal data. This is particularly evident in the healthcare sector, where the collection of sensitive information such as patients' medical conditions poses significant challenges, with privacy concerns hindering data collection and analysis. This research presents a novel technique for collecting and analyzing medical data that not only preserves privacy, but also effectively extracts statistical information. This method goes beyond basic data collection by incorporating a strategy to efficiently mine statistical data while maintaining privacy. Performance evaluations using real-world data have shown that the propose technique outperforms existing methods in extracting meaningful statistical insights.

실험대상으로 환자 10명 정상인 10명의 투영영상을 사용하였으며, 영상의 품질, 손상도 등을 평가하기 위해 PSNR( Peak Signal to Noise Ratio )과 판독의에 의한 ROC( Receiver Operating Characteristic )분석을 실행하였다.

  • Recently, as elderly people suffering from chronic diseases have increased and disasters such as traffic accidents have increased, urgent rescue workers and doctors need to respond effectively to such emergencies. For elderly people, the difficulty in communicating their condition especially the health condition during disaster is one of the problems in which delay on immediate handling by rescue team can cause death. Providing a solution for this problem is one of the main issues in our research. In this paper, we use the QR code to communicate the minimum personal information and medical history needed for emergency medical treatment to emergency medical personnel, and to transmit the medical history and treatment data to the doctors of the hospital through QR code and fingerprint recognition, respectively. Especially, by using both QR code of smart phone and fingerprint of individual, we can protects personal information and strengthens privacy and security of medical information by allowing only authorized physicians to check medical records of the old patient.
